We are so happy we had Alyssa as our wedding planner! Every detail on our wedding day was absolutely perfect, and we truly couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful, seamless experience. From the big moments to the smallest touches, Alyssa’s thoughtful approach made the entire process—from the weeks leading up to the big day—so smooth and enjoyable for us.
As someone who loves organization, I really appreciated that Alyssa had all the necessary tools—Excel spreadsheets, PowerPoint presentations, and more—readily available to keep everything on track. Beyond logistics, she also has an incredible eye for design and helped guide us through various choices while staying within our budget.

Working with Alyssa was hands down the best decision we made for our wedding. She took the time to get to know us, helped us find our dream venue, and simplified the vendor sourcing process. So often we would get the question from friends and family “does wedding planning have you stressed?” Every time we would say the wedding planning was the least stressful part of our lives…with a trusted partner such as her, we were free to focus on our careers and planning our new family.

Hiring Alyssa to plan our wedding was the easiest and best decision we made when planning our wedding! From the first meeting we knew Alyssa was the perfect person to help us bring everything we’ve been picturing to life. Throughout the process, she gave us a variety of recommendations on style and vendors, kept us organized, scheduled meetings with vendors around our schedule, worked through contracts, and kept us on track with our budget. Alyssa did all of this seamlessly and efficiently. Leading up to the wedding and on the big day everyone kept saying I was so relaxed and calm - that’s because I knew Alyssa had everything covered and I didn’t have to worry about a thing. Our wedding and our wedding planning process was absolutely perfect because of Alyssa. We had a venue with space constraints and Alyssa was able to work her magic and turn our venue into a beautiful dream. Our wedding was day filled with many moving parts and she made everything work out seamlessly! Even through the rain and wind, Alyssa made our day perfect. She has relationships with the best vendors, is extremely organized, responsive, and on top of everything. We planned our wedding from across the country and we couldn't have done it without Alyssa. Best day of our lives all thanks to alyssa
Alyssa made our wedding the best day of our lives. Going into the wedding day, I knew we were in the best possible hands. I was extremely calm and had no stress (which is unheard of for a bride especially because we had to worry about flooding from the weather!!!!) all thanks to Alyssa's attention to detail, preparation, and ability to think on the spot to make necessary changes. And SOMEHOW Alyssa still topped all of our expectations for the day!! I wish I could relive the day over and over again!!!! There was not a single moment of stress, and my mom, sister, and bridal party were also able to have a stress-free day which was something I had always wanted. Friends and family cannot stop talking about how professional and organized Alyssa was. I wish I could get married all over again just to be able to work with Alyssa all the time!!! Alyssa, the one word everyone keeps using to describe the day is magical, and it's all thanks to you. -

Hiring Alyssa as our wedding planner was the best investment. There were so many little things leading up to the wedding that I would have missed if I hadn’t had Alyssa’s expert advice and forethought. The best part was, on the day of the wedding, I didn’t have to think about anything. Alyssa’s vision for the reception design and what the vendors she recommended put together exceeded my expectations. All I had to do was walk down the aisle and have fun with my friends and family. Guests even commented on how seamless the ceremony and reception were. I highly recommend hiring Alyssa for the peace of mind that everything will go smoothly under her direction.

I don't have words for how much of a role Alyssa played in ensuring our wedding went smoothly and according to plan. I worked with Alyssa for almost 1 year leading up to our wedding. Our wedding was at an old theater that is not your typical wedding venue and she helped me turn it into a gala-feeling black-tie wedding of my absolute dreams. From initial planning calls with her where she recommended a ceremony space based on my particular aesthetic, to attending tastings and floral meetings and giving me her input when I felt lost- Alyssa felt like I always had a fairy godmother waving her wand to make sure everything went off without a hitch. Any day-of changes she handled with ease and ensured my otherwise rowdy bridal party was always exactly where they needed to be. The cherry on top was when all my friends and family said "your planner was unreal- worth every penny". I write this with a twinge of sadness that I'm no longer in constant communication with Alyssa but recommend her for any and everyone hoping to throw the best party of their lives. -

When I was researching wedding planners for my daughter's wedding, Alyssa Jean was the first wedding planner I called. After speaking with Alyssa on the phone, I immediately booked her, she was that impressive. I live in Chicago and my daughter lives in Connecticut, where the wedding took place. Alyssa's ideas and organizational skills were exceptional. Her ability to coordinate all of my vendors and communicate with each one allowed me to focus on other aspects of the wedding. It was certainly a relief to know I could rely on my planner to navigate all the details and ensure nothing was overlooked. I also engaged Alyssa to assist with a large welcome party that we hosted at a separate venue the night before the wedding. Having a wedding planner enabled my daughter to focus on her upcoming marriage, while ensuring that I was able to enjoy the weekend, knowing that both events were in Alyssa Jean Signature Events' capable hands. Where to start? Two words, HIRE HER! Alyssa nailed every aspect of our wedding from the initial meetings, stressful decisions, and execution of the event. She kept our minds at ease at all times. Alyssa has such great attention to detail, and I truly mean that. There were so many moments after meetings with venders that I thought “wow, would’ve never thought to ask that!” - she thinks of everything! We always felt 100% confident leaving everything in Alyssa’s hands. The entire planning process was made so easy and FUN, everything was so organized, from our vision board, to when we had to pay vendors, to what the next steps were. Her communication was flawless, we must’ve contacted her 500 times the week of the wedding about tiny details and without hesitation, she was there. The day of was absolute perfection, we did not have to worry about a single thing. I was truly able to live in the moment. Alyssa was there to handle each vendor, wrangled the entire wedding party to be in the right place at the right time, she was there to help with my bustle, even made sure we ate, no detail was left out...the list goes on (all whilst 9 months pregnant may I add)!! SHE IS A SUPERSTAR! Hiring Alyssa was the best decision we made for our wedding and we feel so incredibly lucky to have found her! -

Working with Alyssa for our wedding was by far the best decision we made. I am an extremely anxious person, but throughout the entire 1.5 years of wedding planning I had zero stress because I knew that I could trust Alyssa and that she had everything under control! She is PHENOMENAL at what she does - super professional, punctual, and organized, and she has a wealth of experience that made the preparation and the day of SEAMLESS! She helped us select the most incredible team of vendors, managed our budget and payment schedule for us, coordinated all of the logistics, and designed the entire look and feel of the wedding. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect day and I already miss working with her. Hire her!!! -

I am a Virgo…hence, a perfectionist. We interviewed several wedding planners but, when we met Alyssa, we knew she was the ONE. It’s one thing to make a couples dream wedding come true - it’s an entirely different thing to make the process worry-free and enjoyable! Alyssa did both and that was no small feat in planning a wedding that was delayed twice due to Covid. No detail was left to chance . She maintained complete control - with intention and purpose at every step. Her experience, organizational skills and clear-headed attention gave her the ability to think through every detail so that when the day came - everything was just as planned and the night was truly magical. I reached out to Alyssa after my fiancé and I had finally made the tough decision to cancel our original wedding in the south of France. I went into planning our “back up” wedding with no real direction in mind and feeling a bit like I was settling. Alyssa completely changed that for me. She was able to inspire me into reimagining a whole new wedding. She helped me find the most perfect venue in Stonington, CT near where I grew up and put me in contact with the best and most professional vendors I could hope for. She was also incredibly reachable and even though I live in Chicago, very flexible with our meetings and always made it a priority to meet me when I was in town. On the day of I can honestly say I was in such good hands with her and my vendors I felt almost zero stress. She thought of everything so that I didn’t feel like I was hosting 130 people but instead got to enjoy the night alongside them. I could not recommend her more! -

I. Cant. Recommend. Alyssa. Enough.
I came to Alyssa literally 2/3 months before my wedding (which had been rescheduled multiple times), during COVID times, in the end of July of 2020, looking to get married on October 17th. My husband and I decided to do a black tie back yard event at one of my family's homes. Considering the work that goes into creating a venue, I was honestly nervous. To top it all off, it was set to downpour on our wedding day. Let me tell you something - not only was Alyssa flexible (because of rain we decided to add a tent floor to our main tent literally 1 day before it went up), but she was a pro and meticulous. Alyssa was punctual with calls, she would text, and honestly - mostly of all - she would handle things behind the scene without ever having to bring me on the rollercoaster - something that I definitely could have not handled, and she knew it. Not only did we add a tent floor 1 day before it went up, we also added a 2nd tent for cocktail hour, again 1 day before it went up. She clearly has great relationships with vendors, and was able to get everything done that we needed in record timing, and coerce vendors through those relationships to get things done that we never could have on our own. She is sweet, thoughtful, and just plain damn good at her job. On the day of our wedding, I probably saw her for all of 10 minutes (in a good way!) and I will say this - something that many of our guests mentioned after our party - the day went without a hiccup. There was no awkward lull in the events of that day, our tent looked INCREDIBLE, we made last minute decisions that ended up looking like we thought about them for a year, and I just simply couldn't have been happier. She is worth every penny. -

If you are looking for a wedding planner/coordinator look no further, Alyssa is your girl!! My husband and I hired her because we had to switch our venues due to COVID and we used her for month of planning. This was the best decision we made hands down, Alyssa made everything so easy and we didn't have to worry about a thing! She was super organized, professional, detail orientated, and awesome to work with! As I was getting ready Saturday morning for our wedding I did not have the stress in the back of my mind if everyone was being setup on time at our venue. I knew Alyssa was going to take care of everything and make sure it was perfect, which it was!!! We were able to enjoy our day while Alyssa ran the show - could not recommend Alyssa enough to any couple!! -

Stop searching and hire Alyssa!
When I got engaged in July 2019, I already knew a few things - my engagement wouldn't be very long and I would be getting married on the other side of the country (I live in Seattle, and my family is in RI.)
My fiance and I settled on a date in February, and I went into overdrive on wedding planning. I knew there was no way I could plan a cross-country wedding without help. I didn't search long for wedding planners before I found Alyssa. I really liked her vibe - she was young, experienced in hospitality, and was passionate about the most important things in life (dogs, wine, and ice cream). Considering I had big ice cream plans for my wedding, I was pretty sure Alyssa was the one for me. And after our phone consultation, I knew without out a doubt.
With only about 6 months to pull the wedding together, Alyssa became my lifesaver - I probably talked to her more often than my own fiance! We were pretty torn on locations, and without having time to visit in person, we relied on Alyssa to tour venues and FaceTime us. This was super helpful and saved us significant travel time and costs.
Throughout the whole wedding planning process, I was often pretty sure I was probably driving Alyssa crazy. Being a very organized, Type A person myself, I couldn't stop working on wedding things, even though Alyssa was on top of it all. I would often send her emails with things that randomly popped into my head - and she would respond that she had just been writing an email about the exact same thing! I'm sure at times she probably just wanted me to chill and let her do her thing, but she never seemed annoyed with me at all! I can imagine that working with brides, you have to be very patient and understanding, and Alyssa is certainly that. Something about weddings makes us brides go insane, so having a calm, steady person to guide you through the process is incredibly reassuring.
My biggest fear going into the wedding day was that all the random choices on things that I had made wouldn't all go together. Choosing things from afar made it hard to visualize the big picture. But walking into our reception space, I realized I never should have been worried. Alyssa was all over it, and the vendors she gave me to choose from were obviously perfectly curated for my wedding, because everything looked exactly how I had dreamt of. Her knowledge of vendors in MA, RI, and CT is extensive, because of her long tenure in the industry - and it shows. From florals to cake to rentals, everyone she brought to the table were as 5 star as she is.
Having Alyssa on hand to plan my whole wedding probably saved me from many emotional breakdowns. I would highly highly recommend her for the full wedding package. But if you can't afford that, even just bringing her on board for the day is worth it. Knowing that on my wedding day, all I had to do was get ready and show up was so amazing. I let Alyssa worry about the timeline and making sure the right people got to the right place and that really allowed me to enjoy the day stress-free.
I think the best way to explain how much I appreciated Alyssa is how I felt the day after. While we went to brunch, and headed to our honeymoon, Alyssa took care of the final logistics and then went home. I was so sad I didn't get to say goodbye to her in person, as she had become such a huge part of my life leading up to the wedding. But I'm so grateful I'l get to see her again - she's planning my little brother's wedding next year! -

Passionate Wedding Planner Looking to Make Your Day Perfect
Alyssa helped us plan a Boston waterfront wedding for 100 guests from across the country. We opted for the full planning service and we were so pleased with Alyssa's professionalism and her passion for her work. We live in California and after 2 months of trying to plan things ourselves, we knew we needed a planner to make our wedding vision come to life. We were unable to look at venues in person before picking the final place. Alyssa made the trip to Boston, toured each venue and then Face-timed us to show us each of the spaces and explain what she felt was great about each space and why it worked for our budget and our overall vision. It took so much pressure and stress out of not being able to see the venue in person. When it came time to schedule our tasting and design meeting, Alyssa made a Saturday appointment work even though she had plans to meet her family for a vacation in New Hampshire. She, her husband and doggie all waited patiently for us to make decisions on the menu and the overall design for tables. Truly, she went above and beyond for us.
Alyssa scheduled check-in calls and made sure we knew exactly what was next to accomplish in our planning schedule. She sent us several options for each vendor and would listen to what we liked or didn't like about the potential venders until we found the perfect live band, photographer, florist and hair and makeup artist. Both my husband and I have busy schedules and she made the whole process feel manageable and fun! Alyssa was also incredibly respectful of our overall budget and made sure that everything we wanted was possible.
While the planning process was excellent, the part that was truly mind blowing was just how relaxed and fun the rehearsal dinner and the actual wedding day felt. So many brides feel like they are finishing up last minute items right before the wedding, myself included, and when Alyssa heard my self-made to do list, she said "Absolutely not! You are the bride, give me your list and I will take care of everything." Then she actually took care of every detail, of every schedule, of every last minute change so that everything was just perfect. She exceeded all of my expectations and did everything with such incredible professionalism.
I used to think it was silly when people say their wedding day was magical... ours truly was (my husband didn't even want to have a wedding and he admits it was all worth it) and it was all because of Alyssa. When planning such a huge event, do yourself a favor and invest in a planner who is going to advocate for you and allow you to enjoy the experience. We cannot recommend Alyssa enough and we hope that you use Alyssa for your planning services. -

Alyssa was the single best decision my husband and I made in planning our wedding! From our first meeting until the big day, Alyssa was the consummate professional and an absolute joy to work with. She took our ideas and always came back to us with thoughtul suggestions and amazing vendor selections. She took care of coordinating all our vendors (each of whom made it a point to tell us how much they enjoyed working with her) and kept us on track with gentle reminders of meetings and due dates. On the actual wedding day, we were able to relax and enjoy ourselves knowing that Alyssa was there. We can't recommend her highly enough.

Hands down, I would highly recommend Alyssa to anyone getting married! From start to finish, she was incredible and a pleasure to work with! And honestly, we could NOT have done it without her! She was so helpful, she made the entire process so easy for us and not overwhelming as it can be at the very beginning. She even went out of her way on numerous occasions just to meet with us to get to know us more.
Our wedding day was the single most wonderful and special day of our lives, and a lot in part to Alyssa and her hard work and expertise with vendors and pulling it all together. And for any bride shopping for a planner - a MUST is hiring the planner the day of! We did not have to think or do a single thing the day of and be distracted at all from each other and this most special day so would definitely recommend that as a part of the package! Alyssa made it all happen and come together so we didn't have to think of a thing.
We're even a little sad - well because the wedding is over but also, because we've become friends with Alyssa so our friendship definitely doesn't end with the wedding.

Hiring Alyssa was hands down the best decision we made when planning our wedding. We hired her for venue pairing and month-of wedding management. We asked her for a tall order: a barn wedding in New England on a Saturday in October, with less than 11 months notice and a modest budget. Alyssa went above and beyond to investigate and found us a brand new venue that checked every single item on our list. She knew exactly what questions to ask and pointed out things that we never would have thought of in determining which venue was the best fit for us. Over the next several months, we had access to many resources that helped us with decision making - online planning tools, checklists, preferred vendor lists, and most importantly, email access with Alyssa. Her preferred vendor list was fantastic and we built most of our vendor team based on those suggestions. She also specifically recommended options for hotels, transportation, and our amazing florist. As the wedding drew closer we started to get overwhelmed with all the minute details of wedding planning: catering details, rental quantities, photo lists, DJ surveys, etc. It was such a relief to have Alyssa jump in at the 8 week mark and make order of our chaos. We probably sent Alyssa a million questions and, while we knew she was working on a couple of other weddings at the same time, we always got prompt responses and never felt like we were lower priority - I doubt she actually got any off days this wedding season! She coordinated with all our vendors, made great suggestions, helped us figure out a floor plan, and created a wonderfully detailed timeline. On the day of the wedding, she worked tirelessly behind the scenes to set everything up exactly how we wanted it and coordinated the whole day flawlessly. She struck the perfect balance on the day of asking us what we wanted and making small decisions on her own to keep everything moving smoothly. Multiple friends and family members told us after the fact how friendly, efficient and professional she was. Alyssa was amazing and we are so glad we hired her. -

My husband and I do not know where to begin to express how thankful we are to have had Alyssa on our wedding day.
When we first spoke with Alyssa, she took the time to truly understand our vision for our wedding and ensured that our vision came true. We quickly learned how Alyssa goes above and beyond of her job description! After we asked Alyssa to work with us, she was in contact with our vendors immediately and drafted a perfect timeline for our wedding day. She also has an online planning process that is helpful to keep organized! We are also extremely grateful for Alyssa because she helped us figure out details we didn't even know we had to think of! Without her, our wedding day would not have been as perfect as it was.
Throughout the planning process, Alyssa was available to answer any questions and address any concerns we had. We spoke on multiple occasions and had a very thorough walk-through at the venue before our big day, easing any anxiety that we had.

I could NOT be more thankful that I found Mrs. Alyssa! My wedding was a 200 person affair on our family farm, meaning we were sourcing all our own vendors to the property. Needless to say, it was A LOT of coordinating and details. I decided to bring Alyssa on board as a "Month-of Coordinator" and she instantly made my pre-wedding jitters disappear. She insured all of my vendors (caterer, flowers, DJ, photographer, etc.) were all on the same page with timing and responsibilities. She tirelessly worked behind the scenes so I could focus on more fun details of wedding planning. She was so timely with her communication, extremely personable and basically seemed more of a good friend rather than a random person helping with my big day. When it came to the wedding, Alyssa was my eyes and ears; arriving early to help with decoration set up, ensuring everyone was exactly where they needed to be, keeping me and my husband on track with time and even stepping in to help our bartender keep up with the drink demand (What a woman)! She was such a blessing and our wedding day would have not gone smoothly without her! Truly the BEST EVER! -

I like to think I am a very organized person and I was very thorough in planning my wedding, however I knew for a fact I wanted (and needed) a day of coordinator to help things run smoothly. The moment we met Alyssa, I knew I needed her on my team. She took control and was the point of contact for all vendors to talk to which was a huge help in the weeks leading up to our wedding. I have never met anyone so organized and detail oriented. It didn't hurt that her personality is so likable, she was an absolute blast to work with. ALL of our vendors have reached out to us since, saying how amazing she was and how she was the BEST coordinator they have worked with, and wish they could work with her on all their events. Alyssa kept us in the loop on any changes our vendors had, worked with our photographer to compile a timeline for the day, and executed on all levels. She arrived on time, helped set up our entire area, and was super professional. Looking back, I cannot stress enough the importance of having Alyssa with us on the day. Thank you for helping make our day so magical and rememberable. Would 1000% recommend Alyssa to anyone.

My husband and I hired Alyssa in the 11th hour of wedding planning. I had planned about 85% of the big day and started to really feel the crunch in the two months leading up to the event. Due to a mix of a shorter engagement timeframe (8 months), extremely demanding jobs, and limited availability the month immediately before the wedding, we felt we really needed the extra help to take us to the finish line; by rights, we should have hired a planner from the beginning! Alyssa helped with landing on a floral style, researching options for favors and day-of stationary, creating a comprehensive timeline for the day to include where vendors, wedding party, and guests needed to be and when, as well as conducting final vendor confirmation and coordination in the final weeks. She was my go-to person to bounce questions off of for anything and everything including things like the first look, signature drink, and tablescape. And she was also each vendor’s main point of contact as well in the final weeks alleviating any possible flurry of calls or emails on my end.
It is very difficult to plug into someone's brain and planning in the final stretch of their vision and she did it. With no hesitation, she jumped right in to learn what was most important to us and tried to keep that front and center for us in the final weeks of planning. I felt such a weight lifted as I started to see her follow up on emails from vendors where we were waiting on a response and creating a final decision point- and to-do list, even separating the must have from the nice to have items. It was a relief to have someone ‘in the trenches’ with me crossing the t’s and dotting the i’s as ‘the big day’ approached.
As a person, Alyssa is extremely detail oriented, proactive, caring, and patient. She uses a cool online site called Aisle Planner that allowed us to collaborate together virtually on timeline, budget, and vendor management. Her packages are nimble enough to help any couple in their planning, however big or small the need. Our venue included a day-of coordinator already so while that is usually part of the “month-of coordination” services offered by many planners, she was flexible enough to remove that component to focus on just the pre-planning work needed. She collaborated seamlessly with the day-of coordinator to pass the baton to execute on the vision and timeline for the day.
The wedding was a huge success and we received so many compliments on how smooth the day ran. Thanks again Alyssa! -
Michelle Sent on 07/11/2018I was against having a wedding planner because I "thought I could do it all myself." One of the best decisions was hiring Alyssa to help me out with the details and day-off planning. I was engaged in December 2017 and knew I wanted to have a very small wedding before the summer of 2018. I choose the venue, food, and general idea of decorations, etc. The months flew by and before I knew it, it was March/April. Alyssa helped me keep on track with details, cake provider, florist, and GOP. I used ALL of her recommendations and it turned out to be a beautiful day. Alyssa stayed over an hour beyond the planned time for rehearsal, with a smile on her face, and was back the next morning to set up the decorations. She assured me that everything would be perfect and it was. Again, one of the best decisions of my wedding was hiring Alyssa. Paul and I wish her all the best in her new business!!!
