Simply put Alyona was amazing! I would highly recommend Alyona Photography, Alyona was so easy to work with and the few pictures we have seen are beautiful! I can't wait to see all the pictures.

Alyona did a fantastic job! I used her initially to capture our special moment when I proposed to my fiancée, once more for a session to create the invitations, and finally as the wedding photographer. Every experience surpassed the last. Her professionalism, ease to work with, an ability to answer questions that we didn’t even think to ask are unsurpassed. Not to mention her skill behind a camera is without compare. Don’t skimp on your special day. She is worth every cent and more! -

Where to begin! Alyona has captured the most joy-filled moments of my and my husband's love story. It all started with a list on Pinterest of "must-dos" for my dream proposal. Of course there was "ask my dad for permission" and "make sure the people I love are present", but there was also, "make sure the proposal is photographed". My husband, Adam, worked out all the details with Alyona in order to capture the proposal on Shem Creek at sunset. The photos were absolutely stunning! After seeing them, we knew we would only trust Alyona to do our engagement and wedding photos. Alyona always went out of her way to ensure every detail was taken care of. She even arrived early to our shoots to find the locations with the best lighting and backdrop. She made Adam and I feel comfortable and at ease during the sessions. The photos reflected that authenticity. My favorite part of Alyona's photography is her ability to capture pure joy. We will forever be in Alyona's debt because of the priceless memories she helped to preserve, especially the special moments at our wedding. Anyone who hires Alyona will receive more than their money's worth. She has a lifetime customer and our highest recommendation. -

My review is coming super late! Over a year late! But please do not let my delay reflect in the quality of Alyona’s work. She is amazing! An absolute professional and so warm, kind, & thoughtful. Our photos turned out just stunning! The reason my review has come so late is I am finally getting my wedding album together & realizing just how incredibly fortunate we are to have so many amazing photos. She actually took so many truly great photos, & perfectly captured so many great moments that I had to special order more pages to fit in our wedding album to fit them all in. Seeing all the photos again over a year later has reminded me of just how much that day meant to us & I cannot say enough how beautifully Alyona captured it. -

User1973242 Sent on 12/17/2014We had a destination wedding and planned our wedding from out of state. Alyona was very accessible and responsive throughout the planning process -- by email, phone, and text.
She is very accommodating and has a gentle and kind style. While she was very present throughout our rehearsal dinner/wedding and took many candids, she was not intrusive.
We also appreciated that she posted a few "sneak peek" photos of the wedding immediately on Facebook. Everyone was anxious to see some photos -- and we were pleased to be able to share a few with guests and people who didn't attend the wedding so soon after the wedding!!

Nadia Sent on 10/20/2013Alyona is an amazing photographer. We got married in Murrells Inlet and she came up from Charleston to photograph it. We used her for our engagement pictures which made the wedding much more relaxed since it felt like we knew her when we saw her again for the wedding. She arrived on time and didn't make it feel rushed when it was time to leave (this is not a skill all people have). I haven't seen all the photos yet but her sneak peak photos were amazing (as were our engagement photos). Check out her website for all of her absolutely beautiful photos if you aren't sure of her work. That's what I used when I decided I wanted to work with her. She is super friendly but also professional at the same time.
We had a beach wedding and apparently there were TONS of bugs all around the bamboo arbor set up at the beach. Alyona had bug spray in her car and got rid of them before we got down there for the ceremony and we didn't notice a thing. The reason I mention this is that it shows what kind of person she is - aside from being an amazing photographer.
I wish we lived near her because we would get any life event photographed by her. Anyone who lives in the area she travels to would be crazy for not using her. Photos are usually the only memory you get from your wedding day so I'm really happy we used someone who captured it beautifully.
