  I highly recommend Alvah! He has been great throughout the whole process- we started with engagement pictures a year ago, and just had our wedding last weekend! He responds back to emails quickly, and has been very accommodating for us. The engagement pictures came out awesome, I can't wait to see pictures from the wedding- the few he showed me on his camera that day were just incredible. He has such a talent and a real eye for art, and he's not afraid to get down and dirty to get that perfect shot! I honestly didn't even notice him during the reception until I started seeing other peoples pictures, and now I'm so excited to see these awesome candid shots! He saw a moment in the reception to pull us aside when it got dark, the sky was crystal clear-you could see every single star, he got a picture on the golf course with the stars and sprinklers in the back, it looked incredible on his camera. He made the whole process serious when it needed to be and a whole lot of fun the rest of the time. No complaints here at all, I definitely recommend him!

  Highly recommend!

  We were blown away with Alvah’s talent and creative eye. He has a very relaxed vibe, but is clearly a perfectionist - you know the whole time he is shooting, that he is absolutely nailing the shot!
  He was always very accessible throughout the planning process and quick to answer our questions. He kept the engagement shoot fun and the overall experience stress-free.
  The Second shooter really adds to the volume of shots - especially those important moments that a split second or a slightly different angle take the captured moment from beautiful to breath taking. We were so pleased with the overall process and ecstatic at the final product.

  Best Wedding Photographer!

  Hiring THE photographer was the most important vendor to me to find when planning our wedding. After several months of looking, I was referred to Alvah. The second I saw his gallery I knew I wanted to hire him. His photos are stunning and you absolutely won't regret hiring him. His images are gorgeous and magazine worthy! We are so happy with our gallery and definitely recommend him!

  I would like to say that he was the best, took us when he saw a perfect shot to be taken, and was there for anything we wanted to take a well. I have only seen a few samples, but I cannot wait for the final proofs. They are unbelievable. From the lighting, structure, and definition of the pictures they are on point, A++. If you want a perfect day without being bothered for no need pictures and want "the ones" he is the person to choose. I recommend him to all brides looking for those pictures you will look at and be so happy ~~ you need to choose Alvah- he is an amazing photographer! Also I did a 2nd photographer to have all the extra shots, and would defiantly recommended that as well.

  Alvah is the best! He's amazing at what he does and so easy to work with. He understands how to let you enjoy your day all while capturing the right moments. You would be doing yourself a disservice by not hiring him as your photographer. Thank you Alvah!

  From booking to the wedding day we had a great experience with Alvah! He was personable and accommodating to all of our needs. We had one less thing to worry about knowing he was taking care of us on our big day.

  Working with Alvah was a pleasure. Not only is he super talented, he is professional while always getting back to us via email quickly. My husband and I both agree having Alvah photograph our wedding, was one of the best wedding planning decisions we have made. He is so creative and his work proves it!   Absolutely Amazing.. Alvah Reida did my photos for my wedding this June and I could not be happier. Every moment of my Wedding Day was captured. You can really tell he loves what he is doing by his enthusiasm from the moment he arrives. He is constantly looking and paying attention to every detail and does not miss an opportunity to miss a good shot. Alvah was extremely in tune with everything that was going on around him. When my pictures arrived I was thrilled to see that he went and took group shots of all the tables, personal shots of other couples, and even single shots of our grandparents. If Alvah noticed a great scenery shot he would quietly pull you away and snap some amazing, once in a life time shots you will always be in love with. I was impressed that he responded to my emails so quickly - usually within hours - and he was so flexible. We ended up booking an extra hour on our wedding day and it was no big deal. Alvah is incredibly professional, and so talented. He truly has an eye for capturing the perfect image. His prices are also very reasonable. We have so many beautiful wedding images that we will cherish forever, and we have Alvah to thank!

  My husband and could not have asked for a better person and photographer for our wedding day - we truly cannot say enough good about him and his work! We hired him for our wedding last July. He was prompt in responding to our emails and incredibly accommodating when it came to customizing a package that worked within our budget. He not only takes amazing photos, but also goes with the flow, laughed with us when we were being silly, reassured me when my nerves were kicking in (let's face it he has much more wedding day experience than I had!), and helped the girls and I through the morning flawlessly with such a calming, yet confident demeanor. He has a creative eye and was not shy about grabbing us when he saw an opportunity for an amazing photo.

  Alvah Reida has talent beyond words. He has an artist eye and is sure to capture the most precious moments to memorialize forever. I had a destination wedding in the Dominican Republic and Alvah was willing to travel to photograph our special day. He spent countless hours researching the venue to find all the perfect spots. The day of the wedding he was up early taking artist photos of the area and worked until well after 11:00pm making sure we were able to shoot in all the areas we had wanted. He is extremely gifted in using scenery, weather, nature, and the surroundings to capture the most beautiful art. He is professional, sweet and is sure to make you feel comfortable. His ability to make you look even more beautiful than you could imagine is priceless. I cannot say enough positive things about Alvah Reida! I would urge everyone to hire him as your photographer - I can promise you will not be disappointed. Why chance your special moments with anyone else?

  Alvah is an amazing photographer and he is so down to earth! Not only does he have the eye to capture the most amazing shots but he is very flexible. We have used Alvah for family photos in Boston and he even traveled to Vegas to shoot our wedding! We never stop getting compliments on our photos. Alvah was available to answer any and all of my questions, and he responded to emails within 24 hours (he usually responded within 1-2 hours)! I have seen some previews from the wedding pictures and everyone is complementing us on them. I cannot wait to see the rest, and it means so much to us to be able to have these beautiful works of art for the rest of our lives!

  Alvah was great!! He is a true artist dedicated to his craft. He has a love and passion for photography that really shows in his work. Now, if you want typical traditional pics, this guy is not very you. He has a photo journalistic style and is AMAZING at it. He was always very professional and on time. He is also a really nice guy and doesn't have a horrible wedding ruining ego like some of my friends photographers have had. Bottom line if you want awesome photos and an a great photographer at your wedding hire Alvah.
