She did beautiful work on my wedding dress, incorporating floral appliqué from the detached sleeves into the mesh on the bust, adding delicate straps, and hemming it to the perfect length. I got married for a second time on 2/18/23. I bought my wedding dress online and it arrived a couple weeks before my mom passed away. I had to prioritize my mom’s celebration of life and did not try my dress on until 5 weeks before my wedding. I called Alterations by Toni in a panic since I know it typically takes 4-6 months for wedding dress alterations. I spoke to Mojdeh Tavalali who graciously scheduled a fitting for me on her day off. She was so kind and told me that she would prioritize altering my dress so it would be finished in time for the wedding. I had my second fitting about 10 days later and the dress was ready for pick up 10 days before my wedding. They did a phenomenal job and I was treated with the highest level of customer service! I highly recommend Alterations by Toni for high quality work, professionalism, and kind treatment of their customers!!

Miracle Workers!
The Alterations by Toni team work magic! I brought it my very fitted wedding dress and they were able to make it fit perfectly! The bustle of a piece of art that was easy to implement and stayed the whole night. After rescheduling my wedding due to COVID, the team was able to make the adjustments again in time for my wedding. Do not be afraid Toni may have retired but there are a lot of other very nice and professional and amazing women that still work there and do a great job, and have been doing a great job for many years now. I came here at the recommendation of Sandra at bridal and formal. I am impressed. My dress weighed 11 pounds of satin and the nice lady there was able to make it perfect for my wedding. She took in the shoulders a little, hemmed it, re-sewed on most of the appliqués so it looked perfect, and made a 16 loop bustle. The bustle was easy to figure out for my bridesmaids and didn’t take long. It held in place all night and I definitely didn’t hesitate with my dancing. I twirled the entire time and also we did a lift at the end of the first dance. We took photos on top of a parking garage in what felt like 30 mph winds and my dress had no issues. I would highly recommend going to alterations by toni. The price was well worth it for how my dress turned out. The women there were so nice and interested in me and in my wedding. Highly recommend the “press pick up” The woman also was very nice inside the store and let my friend come along to one of the appointments with her two babies. She even gave them each a candy cane. I am impressed by the work they did on my dress. She did a ball gown bustle *"

Toni made it happen!
Toni is a talented professional and I’m sure my alterations experience would have been great even in more normal circumstances, but ends up that - the morning of my first fitting, three months before my wedding - I found out I was pregnant! Toni was the best. All I wanted was to be able to still wear the dress I fell in love with. Toni not only ensured that, but did it so well that no one could even tell we’d altered the dress. I’ll always be grateful!

I can’t thank Toni enough for my wedding dress alterations! My dress was a floor sample, so it needed a lot of work in terms of resizing and replacing some missing beadwork. Perfect alterations
I purchased my dress at a sample sale and it was about 4 sizes too big. The dress turned out perfect. I live in Chicago but ended up having my alterations done in Cincinnati and am so happy I did. Toni was flexible with scheduling the alterations so being an out of towner was not an issue. The prices were super reasonable and significantly less than what I would have spent in Chicago. Toni was so nice to work with and did an amazing job. I was nervous about the dress as it was so big, but Toni worked her magic and everything was perfect! I really enjoyed working with Toni. We ended up sending my dress to be cleaned and preserved through Toni and I am excited to see how it turns out

Toni did an incredible job with helping alter my Hayley Paige gown. I was nervous because up until the week of wedding the straps to my dress were still not sitting right. Toni decided we should redo the straps entirely and wow did she do an incredible job. I’m not sure how she got this done for me so quickly, but the straps looked better than they had originally when I purchased the dress. Vintage Wedding Dress Alterations
When I decided to wear my grandmother's wedding dress I was definitely a little nervous about getting someone to alter it. I am so glad I trusted Toni. She is really a master at what she does and took such great care with the dress. She altered it to fit me perfectly while still keeping the original character of the dress. She was able to make last minute adjustments like a zipper change with no problem. She was flexible and easy to work with and had lots of good ideas but still let me call all the shots. I wouldn't take a vintage dress anywhere else. If I need alterations again, even on a new dress, I would go back here for sure.

Seamless process by Toni
My wedding dress alterations went better than I could have ever imagined. I was nervous finding the right place because of all the horror stories I’ve heard.
Toni is so delightful, sweet, and she really knows her stuff. She would place pins in the dress while I had it on so she knew where it needed to be sewn to. She always made sure I was happy with what it looked like and how it fit before she would sew that change. If something didn’t look right she would let me know and show me ways of how to fix it. After the 2nd fitting she told me to bring someone with me the next time to show them how to do the bustle. She let me mom video tape her doing it so she could bustle my train the night of the wedding.
She made sure my dress was pressed when I picked it up the final time and even offered to press my veil. After trying it on the final time she looked at the hook and eye and said she wanted to change it out to something stronger. It didn’t break, but since I had a strapless dress and it was heavy she wanted to make sure there was no chance of it breaking that whole day. She even had me bring a bed sheet to wrap it around the dress when I left to keep it clean but so it wouldn’t get wrinkled. She thought of everything and there isn’t anything I would have changed about my dress. I was so happy with it all! Her prices are very reasonable which was nice being on a strict budget.

A wonderful experience!
Toni made beautiful alterations to my bridal dress! I was concerned about my dress as it was a sample ( the dress I had special ordered from a bridal shop arrived with problems, and the sample was the best option). Toni told me up front it would look like new when she was done, and she was right. Toni is patient, providing the number of fittings and alterations you desire. She has true insight into what changes are needed. In addition to great alterations Toni surprised me by making a belt for my dress between my first and second fitting, because she recognized it would give the dress a more finished look. As I look at my wedding pictures I cannot imagine the dress without the belt! Thank you Toni!

Toni is so patient and wonderful to work with! An example of her patience is that I had an alteration appointment on a Saturday, woke up on Sunday feeling very anxious about the alterations, she emailed me back on a Sunday (her day off), and let me come back in Monday morning without an appointment to re-try on my dress before she made the final alterations so that I wouldn't be so anxious. The day of my wedding, I felt so beautiful and confident in my dress! She made sure it fit my body and was still comfortable. Thanks Toni for everything!

Toni is wonderful! She met with me three times to discuss and alter my dress to ensure it fit beautifully for my wedding. I bought the dress off the rack, so Toni's team worked hard to ensure it could be tailored to fit my figure. The hem was raised, the shoulders shortened, and bra cups installed. She also had it professional cleaned, along with steaming my veil. The experience was easy, smooth and highly professional. I'd recommend them to any bride. I found Toni by searching for the highest rated bridal gown alteration seamstress in Cincinnati and she definitely lived up to that reputation! Given my short 5'2' stature, my dress needed shortened quite a bit as well as taken in too in a few places. Toni was able to create a perfect fit for me in every way and also added a beautiful bustle that was easy to manage. My dress looked absolutely gorgeous for my destination Halloween New Orleans wedding and I received literally hundreds of compliments on my dress all night as my husband and I had a traditional second line brass band parade through the French Quarter! I had a very intricate wedding dress with lots of beading and lots of layers on the skirt/train. The bridal store I got it from gave me only three options that they would trust to get this kind of dress altered, and alterations by Toni was on the pricier side of the three options, but I was impressed with how professional they were over the phone and the detailed explanation Toni gave breaking down the cost ahead of time, after I emailed her photos of the dress, and the responsiveness and how quickly I was able to get in. I had a great experience. Because of all the layers in the skirt and train, it was hard to get the length just right to avoid me tripping over it as I walked around in it, and Toni was more than willing to continue to alter it to make the fit just right, at no extra cost. She was very professional and responsive and upfront about cost, but flexible and was able to get the dress completed within plenty of time for my wedding, and the dress fit beautifully!

First off, Toni works wonders on gowns! My dress was covered in intricate beading at the top and I had a hard time filling it out at the top as well. She made it look seamless and my gown fit me perfectly! She altered it to perfection and in such a timely manner! Toni made me feel so comfortable and helped me feel like a thousand bucks in the finished product. She also added my grandma’s gown and my mother’s hat to the inside of the gown for that special touch. Toni even helped me with making it so easy to preserve my gown. I would recommend anyone to Toni for their alteration needs!!!!!

I'm so glad I chose to have my dress altered by Alterations by Toni. The staff at the shop are very friendly, and Toni was so pleasant and easy to work with. She did an amazing job altering my gown - especially considering she had to lift the lace to do the hemming. It turned out beautifully and fit me like a glove. My family has been going to her for YEARS - both my sisters had their wedding dresses altered by her, I've gone to her for bridesmaid dresses, and this time it was my turn to go for my own wedding dress! My dress came in late and I was so stressed about finding someone experienced to alter it. I contacted alterations by Toni and they were willing to work with me! My first visit was 1.5 months before the wedding, and Toni was very calm and gave me no reason to feel worried about her ability to get it done. I forgot my shoes for my second fitting and Toni was very kind about it (I had heard of people who make you reschedule if this is the case, though I understand that if it is the first visit). I picked up the dress a week before the wedding where she walked the maid of honor through the whole process of the bustle, as well as giving additional tips on how to help me maneuver through the day in the dress. She was very professional and accommodating and the prices were very reasonable!

My husband and I got married in July 2017 and Toni, at Alterations by Toni, altered my wedding dress. The dress was fitted and made of a delicate lace. Toni worked with me through several appointments to ensure the dress fit exactly the way I wanted it to. She was patient throughout the process and willing to accommodate any changes I thought needed to be made to make me feel comfortable. Even with all of the lacework, the alterations were not visible.
At the wedding, the dress looked beautiful and I received many compliments. Your wedding is such an important day and working with Toni made me feel confident that I'd end up with a dress that fit me perfectly. I would highly recommend Toni.

I cannot recommend Toni enough for bridal alterations! I will definitely be sending friends, or anyone who asks for suggestions, her way! She was very prompt in responding to my emails, even on weekends and later at night. She had my dress fitting like a glove on our wedding day! She was even able to quickly get my mom in to have her dress fixed after a terrible experience with another seamstress from another company. Those aren't the only reasons I would recommend her and here comes the best part! The night of the wedding my dress caught fire during a sparkler send off. I cried every time I looked at my dress after that and even though our day was absolutely perfect until that moment, that was the first memory that popped in my head when I looked at my dress. I didn't get my hopes up thinking it could be fixed but I knew if anyone could do it, Toni could! I just got my dress back from Toni today and I'm absolutely amazed! There's not a burn mark on the dress and now when I look at it I think it's as beautiful as it was the day of the wedding and my first memory is no longer of my dress on fire, it's how beautiful and perfect our wedding day was. I will be able to show my kids and grandkids my beautiful dress one day without a big black burn hole in it! Toni is truly a blessing and can work magic!

Alterations by Toni was my go to for bridesmaid dresses because they always do their best to fit me in even though I notoriously wait till the last minute for alterations. They do wonderful work, even on those dresses that weren't built for my actual body type. Somehow they mold those dresses to fit me better than any other piece of clothing I own.
When it was my turn to get married, I took my wedding dress to Alterations by Toni and couldn't have been happier. The price was less then expected as I had very delicate sleeve work. They worked around my busy schedule to get me in for multiple fittings to make sure the dress fit perfectly. Even though it was a crazy busy time of year for weddings (September/October), Toni was nothing but professional and helpful.

The last of which was less than a week before the wedding, but they made it happen and Helped me look amazig on the big day! I originally was going to have my dress altered where I purchased it, but the cost was almost as expensive as my dress! I was recommended to try Toni by the sweet lady that owns La Silhouette lingerie and I am so glad she did. The price was below my budget and Toni knew exactly how the dress should be altered so that it fit perfectly on me. I knew I wanted to remove the cap sleeves from the dress when I bought it; Toni said she and the ladies had a funeral for my sleeves when she removed them. I knew my dress was in good hands and with a lady who truly cares what her brides look like on their wedding day. I was told previously that I couldn't bustle my long train because it would be too heavy. Toni created a bustle that worked perfectly with my dress and in a way that the delicate beading on the train was still able to be seen. My dress turned out absolutely perfect and I felt beautiful on my wedding day thanks to Toni. I will be back for any and all alteration needs in my future!

Toni is amazing! She did an incredible job with my wedding gown and it was a very labor intensive job with a lot of lace. Toni is the only person I would trust!

Without Toni's help, I have no idea how I could ever be as confident as I was on my wedding day.
I called her my sewing ninja. Her work is truly amazing. Toni is honest, knowledgeable and most Importantly, genuine.
I'm sooo thankful for her and her amazing hands. I will definitely go back to see her if I need anything else altered!!
Ps- I wanted personal handkerchiefs last minute. Literally days before my wedding and she did them in like a day! Thank you Toni!

I did not need much done with my wedding dress, but Toni did a great job with what I needed done! Everything was very affordable and done in a timely manner! I will definitely be going back to Alterations by Toni for any other alterations needs I may have.

About a week before my wedding the first alteration was too tight. As a bride the panic and worry set in. Toni was calm, confident, and reassured me she would make the fit just right. Two days before our wedding I picked up my dress and it truly was a perfect fit! I had a strapless, sweetheart gown and did not have to worry one bit about pulling my dress up and I could breath perfectly.

I was referred to Toni by Luxeredux bridal and I am very satisfied with my alterations. Tony did all the necessary alterations for my dress perfectly and added beautiful beading on my dress. She is very responsible and talented and also very quick. All of the work that tony did on my dress was absolutely stunning! I would high recommend her to anyone getting married!

Toni's work is incredible! I live in Boston but my wedding was in Cincinnati and I ended up needing quite a bit of work on my dress. I was pretty anxious about the fit of the dress since it was strapless, I was between sizes to start, and the fit was way off when I first tried it on. She worked with my schedule to fit me in when it was convenient for me. I never felt rushed or pressured by her (which is usually how I feel when using other seamstresses), and she would provide me professional guidance when I needed it. My dress fit perfectly the month before my wedding but she allowed me to schedule another week of appointment just in case, and was able to take it in again just 2 days before. Both my sisters had their bridesmaids dress altered here as well and they looked amazing!

My wedding dress came in just one month before the wedding, but Toni was able to do all the necessary alterations well before the wedding. They were so kind and helpful! I had a last minute change to the straps that I wanted to make just a few days before the wedding, but they got it done quickly and the results were perfect. I'm so glad I went to Toni's!

Toni is worth every penny! I had ordered a gorgeous dress but had known that there were several changes that I would need to make in order to provide more support throughout the day. Toni had great ideas on how to make sure that I was comfortable in the dress all the while ensuring that everything still looked gorgeous and maintaining all the intricate detailing that was in the dress. Toni is also very flexible to work with. I had come in one day during the week and had second thoughts on how something looked on the dress and Toni worked to squeeze me in just a few days after my original visit. Toni did an amazing job and I would highly recommend her!

I was referred to Toni by Hyde park bridal and I could not be more satisfied with my alterations. At the first fitting I was frustrated with the way the top of my dress was fitting. Toni immediately knew what needed to be altered to fix the issue. All of the work that she did on my dress was absolutely perfect! My dress fit perfectly and I couldn't be more thrilled. She is also very quick! I would high recommend her to anyone getting married!

Toni did an amazing job with my wedding dress!!! She also did a few alterations to my veil by changing the comb to a more secure one, as well as altering a fur piece by removing a ribbon that I didn't want and changing the clasp so it didn't look like it was pulling!!! Everything was beyond perfect and I felt amazing the day of and my dress fit me like a glove thanks to Toni and her amazing team!!! I also had a few embroidered bags made for bridesmaids gifts that looked so good as well as a last minute embroidered gift made for my dad that she was able to complete in just a few hours for me!!!! I would for sure recommend Toni's to any bride! Her work was impeccable and I felt as though she really listened and did everything to make me happy and feel the best I could in my dress for the big day!!!

Toni is absolutely wonderful. She is a calming presence during what can sometimes be a hectic and stressful time. She was complimentary of my gown and I could tell it was from a very genuine place. Toni also knew exactly what type of bustle would look best with my gown; something that I hadn't thought about. She also helped recommend how to travel with my dress, again something I hadn't fully considered. She was beyond all expectation!

Toni was wonderful to work with! She hemmed by dress, added a bustle, and sewed on the belt to my dress so that it laid just right. She was always very kind, making sure that I felt comfortable and beautiful for our special day. My dress turned out perfect and fit like a glove. I had my wedding dress altered at Toni's and it was one of the best decisions I made! I bought a lace wedding dress with an illusion back that I absolutely loved but, down the road, became rather hesitant about the back of the dress. I started having a hard time finding under garments that would suit my dress and that was rather overwhelming. I loved my dress so much but I just did not know what to do. I called Toni's and explained my situation and she was very calm and receptive to my dilemma which was reassuring so I went in for my first visit. Toni's alterations speaks for itself - it was evident I made the right choice when I first visited. There were wedding dresses everywhere. Absolutely everywhere! Considering the volume of dresses, Toni and her staff still always treated me as if I was the only Bride they were working with. I felt so comfortable working with her and she was able to add lace to the back of my dress that perfectly matched the lace all over my dress. She also took several inches off the bottom of my dress perfectly, even altered my slip, added my monogram inside my dress as my something blue, steamed my dress and veil - it was perfect. It was as if I fell in love with this dress all over again. I would highly recommend Toni's - it's local to Cincinnati and has been around for a very long time. Toni does quality work and it shows! A wedding dress is so personal and to have someone treat it with the detail and proper attention it deserves is very comforting.

I had a custom made dress from a vendor that wasn't from my area. When I got the dress, I loved it but I intentionally ordered it slightly large so I had room to alter. I was worried that alterations on the lace top would be impossible, or at least very expensive. Toni did a wonderful job and made me feel at ease getting my dress done well, on time and for much cheaper than I had been quoted elsewhere. She and her associates even suggested and implemented a back section on my dress that helped to keep the low back from falling off of my shoulders. I showed up late to an appointment one day and Toni accommodated me by having an associate (Amy) who was lovely help me out.

Toni was such a pleasure to work with for dress alterations! I used her for my wedding dress, and my Mom used another seamstress for her dress as well. My dress had to be taken in at the top; I was concerned that a) it couldn't be done or b) it would look odd as there was lot of detailed beading in the bodice. Toni did a fantastic job and the dress truly fit perfectly (it was strapless and I never once I had to pull it up!).
Additionally, being an out-of-town bride, I had some conflicts due to my schedule, but Toni was always able to accommodate me (just be sure you book far enough in advance of your wedding).
Overall, I would highly recommend Toni!
