Amazing dress, amazing experience!

If you want a beautiful, unique and show stopping dress, Alta Moda is where you'll find it! I went to several bridal shops and none of them were even close to meeting the expectations that the AM team set! Everyone at the boutique were so friendly, knowledgeable and helpful! The dresses they have are unbelievably gorgeous and so much better quality than any others I found. I LOVED my dress and everyone kept telling me how stunning it was and how they haven't seen anything like it before!

I loooooooved working with Alta Moda. I found the gowns of my dreams here!

For brides just starting to look: tell your consultant up front what price range you're looking for, just the same way as you'd tell them what styles you like. I did that and they never brought me a single dress out of budget without checking to make sure I wanted to see it first.

My consultant, Emily, is the coolest. She's amazing, she's honest, she's got a great feel for what people look and feel great in. She helped me find two dresses for my two celebrations that are SUPER different in style, and I've seen her make other ladies totally SLAY as well. She's a badass and she'll make you feel and look like a queen!

Lenni and her crew are professional and cool af. They helped me ship a giant ball gown to my out of state venue, they hooked me up with the coolest and most generous seamstress of all time, and have checked up on my wedding proceedings and everything multiple times since. I've loved every second of my experience at Alta Moda!

Alta Moda is the best!! They were so kind and helpful when helping me find the dress I had in mind while also showing me other options I may love. Even when I had a mini meltdown (I was confused about the dress I wanted) they were so comforting and helped me clear my mind. They were also so patient with me when making my decision and staring at the beautiful custom dress I got!

Oh my gosh I am in love with this boutique! Their dresses are absolutely gorgeous!!! My dress is to die for!! The only thing is I wish I new the price of the dresses before we started we definitely paid way more than we thought but it was worth it!

Thanks to Pinterest, I found Alta Moda Bridal. After months of searching online, I had found that all my favorite dresses came from this boutique. My Maid of Honor & I flew out to SLC from NC for an appointment on Friday, and to attend the sample sale on Saturday. They have a service for out-of-town Bride's where they will pick you up from the airport and take you to your appointment, which we did. They were on time, and they also had a cute snack platter for us at the store while trying on dresses. Megan, the stylist I had, was extra patient and kind, as I tried on almost every dress they had. I was having a lot of trouble picking a dress and they never once appeared frustrated or tried to rush us. They even drove us to our hotel (it was about a mile away). I couldn't have asked for a more accommodating experience. We attended the sample sale the next day, as I did not find one on Friday, and were able to find THE dress, that was on sale- and was not one of the millions I tried on Friday. I don't want to leave out the quality of the designers that they sell either. Friday evening we visited another local Bridal shop (just to see if I found another style that I liked, because my fiancé said I better come home with a dress if I flew all the way out there), and the quality absolutely did NOT compare. In fact, I decided then that I would buy a dress that I didn't even like, as long as it came from Alta Moda. The other bridal shops dresses looked so cheap after visiting Alta Moda Bridal, and I would've never known if I hadn't of visited both places. It is definitely true to say that you get what you pay for, and I am SO in love with my dress from this boutique!

The absolute best and only place you should buy a wedding gown in Utah. The team here was so friendly, sweet and helpful. I loved their approach to helping me pick my ideal gown and made me feel like one of the "girls" there. I looked forward to every appointment and was so comfortable in my gown because of this phenomenal team.

I couldn't have chosen a better place to get my wedding dress. Alta Moda made the whole experience so great, from finding the dress to the last fitting. The staff there are so easy to work with and truly make each bride feel like she is the only one there. When I needed to be fit in quickly for a fitting, they made it happen. The seamstresses they work with are also great, and I loved being able to go to the store to do all of it. So glad I chose Alta Moda!

My daughter and I dropped into the salon without an appointment and they were able to work us into the schedule for dress try-ons. The perfect dress was found in one visit. The fitting appointments went smoothly and the dress was unique and beautiful.
The staff were very friendly and helpful.
I would recommend Alta Moda Bridal Boutique for anyone in the Salt Lake City area.

Although I live in Washington D.C., I made the decision early on to purchase my dress and have the dress fittings in UT, where I am originally from and where the ceremony was taking place. Because of this, it was very important to find a dress shop that would be flexible enough to work with my crazy schedule.

Alta Moda was the last dress shop I visited in my search for the gown, but I wish I had gone there first. After trying on dozens of dresses, I found my dress here! It was one of the first gowns I tried on, and I knew right away that it was the one. Having said that, they happily allowed me to try on others just to make sure that I had selected the right dress. In addition to housing my perfect dress, I also found my veil and accessories here, making it a one stop shop. It can't get anymore convenient than that.

When it came time for fittings, Alta Moda was so great to work around my schedule and squeeze me in when I could only fly in for a day or two at a time. They also connected me with the most amazing seamstress, Pamela, who worked wonders for the few alterations I needed. The fit of my dress was absolute perfection, and I could not have loved it more.

The staff there was always pleasant and often called me to check in to see if there was anything at all they could do to make things easier. I'm so glad I purchased my dress from Alta Moda. They made what could have been a stressful nightmare, an easy, breezy, stress free process, in spite of the distance. If you're in the market for your perfect dress, definitely check them out!

I had wonderful experiences with Alta Moda, they were flexible with my work schedule and worked hard to help me get the look I wanted for my big day. Alta moda bridal is the best in Salt Lake City and its surrounding area. I went to many stores but Alta Moda carries so many designers that cannot be found in other stores. They have a great selection of couture high end dresses. From entering to leaving, the staff was also so helpful and friendly. I got a beautiful Jenny Packham dress and I cannot be happier! They were also prompt in responding to my emails and calls. I would highly recommend this bridal boutique.

I broke all the rules and went dress shopping with my bridesmaids within a month of being engaged without a wedding date, venue or anything else! After being honored to be a bridesmaid in ten weddings, yes ten I knew that there were a handful of just amazing bridal shops in the SLC area that I wanted to visit. We started at Alta Moda and the service was out of this world. I felt like I was the star of a runway show with everyone bringing me dresses, fixing my hair, listening to all of my hopes and dreams in the wedding dress for me. Megan specifically helped me put on every beautiful dress and gave me exactly what I wanted as a bride to be, honesty.

I fell in love with two dresses but knew I needed to take the time to really look around before I settled on anything given that it was so early on. My wedding party and I went to a few more stores and the experience was just never the same. After lunch and a lot of discussion, we just knew that we needed to go back to Alta Moda. They were ready and willing to help me get back into my two favorite dresses and happy to see us again. The second I put on "my dress", I just knew it was the one. Megan may have actually known even before I did because just as the tears were streaming down my face, I looked in the mirror to see her reacting the same way! As we both cried tears of joy, we walked out and announced to my best friends that this was in fact MY dress and it felt like the entire store just erupted in cheer. It was a moment that a bride can never forget.

My experience with Alta Moda was nothing short of amazing and they truly made me feel like the only bride in the world. I can't thank them enough for treating my bridesmaids and I with such love and kindness and I would reccommend every bride to be to go straight to Alta Moda!!

I found the perfect dress at Alta Moda, and the ladies there could not have been more helpful! The whole process went so smoothly, and the seamstress they recommended was fabulous. Pamela took care of all of my alterations on a fairly tight timeline and the dress turned out absolutely perfect! I highly recommend purchasing a wedding dress from Alta Moda.

The entire experience I had working with Alta Moda was great. They were so helpful and engaging.. they definitely made the experience such a positive and memorable one (during stressful times planning a wedding). So glad I chose Alta Moda. Alta Moda is the "it" place in Utah to find the perfect wedding gown. After visiting several other shops in the area that all seemed to have very similar, generic type gowns, I had my appointment with Alta Moda. It only took a quick walk through the shop to realize that this store was unlike any other. All of their gowns were gorgeous and, more importantly, they were different from any I had seen elsewhere -- all so unique and absolutey stunning. They had a wide variety of styles and designers, and their staff was amazing at offering suggestions and helping me narrow down my selections based on my individual taste. They gave me very personal attention each time I came in, and touched base with me all along the way to keep me updated on my dress or just to check in. Hilary and her staff are professional, not pushy AT ALL, and simply a pleasure to work with. After my wedding was all said and done, I had an amazing number of compliments on the beauty and uniqueness of my gown. I have never felt prettier in my life than on my wedding day, and I owe a large part of that to Alta Moda.

I went to 7 bridal shops, I had good experiences with all of the but they all had pretty generic dresses. Alta was not like the others, they had the most unique dresses and the most amazing staff. I can honestly say that alta was the only vendor that I worked with that didn't give me a head ache ! They constantly reached out to me to see how i was doing. Absolutely love them

There are not enough wondeful things to say about Alta Moda. I had been searching for my dress for months at various stores in California and throughout Salt Lake. Alta Moda was our last stop and I thought I had found my dress at another store. Rachel talked with me and got a feel for what I wanted even though I wasn't exactly sure what that was. She pulled the most beautiful and unique dress I have ever seen. I finally had my "dress moment" that I had been searching and hoping for. Rachel was so helpful throughout the whole process. She was always checking in with me in the months leading up to the wedding and always so friendly. All of the ladies are so wonderul. My family all lives in CA but everyone knows that the next bride is coming to Alta Moda for their dress! They just have the most unique and beautiful dresses I have ever seen. I am so happy with my experience at Alta Moda and my dress was absolutely stunning.

Tiffany at Alta Moda found the perfect dress for me! She knew exactly what my style was and I fell immediately in love with the gown. However, I had appointments at other bridal salons that same day so I felt it might be impolite to cancel. Needless to say...nothing else compared (not even close) to the level of service and quality of gowns you get at Alta Moda. If you are looking for the very best this is the only place in Utah to go! I was so happy to return and purchase the dress I fell in love with!

We absolutely LOVE Hilary and Justin and all the ladies that work at Alta Moda. My wife purchased her wedding dress from Alta Moda for our 10 year wedding anniversary and she looked absolutely stunning in it. Alta Moda makes dress shopping a wonderful experience! Every bride wants to look stunning in a unique gown. You won't find more beautiful unique gowns anywhere else. The staff at Alta Moda can not be matched. Even if its a busy day they make you feel like you are the only person in the shop. I really don't usually give 5 stars, but Alta Moda is a fantastic shop and I highly recommend them.

They are professional and friendly- Planning a wedding is a crazy and hectic time in a brides life, but the girls at Alta Moda guided me well and made it simple and easy.

They truly know what they're doing- I ended up landing on a dress that was recommended by the owner that I would have never expected I'd like!

I feel like I don't have to worry about anything when it comes to my dress and I love being an Alta Moda bride. That feeling is priceless. :)

I purchased my wedding dress from Alta Moda last year and have recommended them to other brides I have worked with.

Their sales people are very friendly, professional, kind, and take the time to get to know your style. They compassionate help steer you through the exciting and stressful dress hunting process. They make every bride feel beautiful and special.

They are also very creative and can help you customize your dress with the help of their excellent alterations recommendations. They helped me make my dress convertible, creating a detachable bottom half making for a very flapper look to fit my 1920's style wedding.

They also have unique style selections and designers that you can't find anywhere else in Salt Lake City!

I loved every minute of my dress experience with Alta Moda. At first, I thought that I would have a hard time deciding on a dress because there were so many good choices and I loved a lot of different things. However, when I put on my dress I knew it was THE ONE.

My dress came in on time and was even more beautiful than the sample I had tried on. Alterations were quick, easy, affordable and perfect. I couldn't have asked for a more stress-free process.

Brides, do yourselves a favor and make Alta Moda your first and only dress shop. Thank you to the Alta Moda team for making me feel so beautiful on my wedding day!

From the first visit to Alta Moda, I felt the way every bride-to-be should feel- special! The staff is attentive and thoughtful. Hilary, the owner, is an absolute delight to work with! Very professional and kind. I found my dream dress, and they helped me arrange alterations right there in the shop. I also found hairpieces and stunning earrings for my wedding day. Friends joined me on various visits for fittings, etc.- occasionally with babies- and that was never a problem. After my wedding, they let me know that they could assist in cleaning and preserving my dress, as well. The whole experience was easy and stress-free- and I felt like a princess on my big day.

Hillary and her staff are wonderful. They have such a great relationship with all the designers they stock, and it shows in the alterations that the designers will do for them. My dress was by designer Augusta Jones, and they altered the pattern to rebuild the top of the dress so it had sleeves and a Queen Anne neckline. Everything about the dress and the service at Alta Moda exceeded my expectations.

I loved the staff! I had 2 appointments to finally decide on my dress - and I think 4 fittings to complete it. The staff even allowed me a final fitting the day before my wedding! I wanted no other store to be involved with my wedding dress. At the time I found the dress I lived in Salt Lake. However, I then moved to CA. Although stores in CA carried the dress, I flew back and forth to Salt Lake to purchase and alter my dress. The people at Alta Moda are amazing- they truly want to make your experience with them perfect. I lost 40 pounds between the time of purchasing the dress and the wedding- they worked with me to fit my dress and were always flexible with the times/dates to see me. I would reccomend anyone to Alta Moda and it was an honor working with them throughout my wedding preparation. They made me feel beautiful like every bride should!

Alta Moda Bridal should be your first and last stop when choosing a wedding dress. From the moment I stepped into the boutique, I was given all of the attention and time that a bride searching for the perfect dress needs. The designer lines that Alta Moda carries are superior in the wedding gown arena. Not just any store can sell a certain designer's dress. Alta Moda carries certain lines because the designers know that the store's and its employees posses a high level of professionalism, sophistication and education on the in?s and out?s of couture wedding dresses. I don't know how she does it, but the owner Hillary remembered my name every single time I walked through that door. We had planned for an early 2008 wedding, but due to a move and job changes, our wedding was in the summer of 2009. Still even after months had past from when I had dropped in the store, Hillary still knew my name, my wedding details, etc... She is AMAZING!!! The selection is great and I strongly advise you to TRUST the consultant's advice. I didn't even want to try on my Atelier Aimee wedding dress, but Melody asked if I minded just trying it on. After I put it on, it was clear that it was the one for me.

Absolutely the best bridal shop in the Salt Lake City area. The staff is very responsive to your requests, and they do an excellent job at helping you select the dress of your dreams. The inventory is exceptional as well. Want a designer gown? Go to Alta Moda.

Working with Alta Moda to find my dream dress was a great experience! I came in with a dress in mind and they pulled it straight out for me. I tried on a number of beautiful dresses but ended up picking the original and first dress I tried on! There were a lot of changes we needed to make to my dress to make it what I wanted it to be and to make it more modest. They assigned me to a seamstress (Rebecca Fenton) who made all of my dress dreams come true!! With lots of communication she made my dress up to be exactly what I had imagined from the beginning and I was blown away. Alta Moda had so many options and awesome employees that helped me throughout the whole process and gave great suggestions and advice.

LOVED Alta Moda Bridal Boutique! I had found Alta Moda through my family that lives in Utah, but I live in Las Vegas. I stopped by their store just to see what styles they had and immediately booked an appointment to come back. I knew I wanted a dress with long lace sleeves, just like my mom's dress. But in Las Vegas, sleeves are hard to come by. Alta Moda had the exact dress I was dreaming of, Elysia gown by Haley Paige. I loved working with the girls from Alta Moda, they were all very knowledgeable about the gowns and had a great sense of style. They knew exactly what belt I needed and matched the veil as well. The only difficult thing for me was the timing of the gown arrival; since we had to travel I wasn't able to do my alterations there. Thanks Alta Moda! Xoxo

Alta Moda was the PERFECT place to find my dress. It was the only store I visited and the only store I needed. They were prompt, respectful and very knowledgeable.

I needed a modest dress for my wedding, but I knew it would be difficult to get both style and coverage. So I flew from MI, where I live, to Salt Lake City just to go to Alta Moda.

They found me a dress I liked and then helped me decide on costume alterations to ensure modesty, and it was perfect. (I also found a belt and veil there.) It was the wedding dress I have always dreamed of!

They even helped me find a trustworthy place to get alterations done in Michigan. I could not have asked for a better experience.

Absolutely loved working with the team of fabulous women at Alta Moda. Since my wedding was in New York City, but I live in Salt Lake City, I was determined to use as many local Utah vendors as possible. Alta Moda proved they could compete with the best of them in New York. On the day of the wedding, my guests were absolutely stunned that I purchased such a gorgeous dress in Utah. There is nowhere else here in Salt Lake that I could have possibly found a more gorgeous dress to wear on my special day (yes, I looked). Every person that works at Alta Moda was so helpful from the first contact I made with them until the day last week when I dropped off my dress for preservation. They were also so easy to schedule with for trying on my dress and accessories, were flexible with last minute purchases and changes, and allowed me to store the dress and veil there until the day before I flew to New York. On top of all that, they have a terrific seamstress/tailor on hand that fit me in the dress in the weeks leading up to the wedding. Alta Moda has the best selection of dresses and most knowledgeable, professional staff. Am so glad they were part of my dream team of wedding vendors for my dream wedding.

I bought my wedding dress at Alta Moda Bridal and could not be more happy with it. The ladies there are very sweet and helpful. I felt so comfortable and knew they were helping me find the dress that looked best on me. There selection is very high quality, so a bit pricey but I felt the dresses were worth the cost. The staff also helped me select a crystal belt, and earrings and a bracelet that complemented my grandmothers pearl necklace. They have great seamstress that come into the shop for alterations, you pay them separately, but they did a beautiful job. Alta Moda also lets you take your dress for bridal photographs and then bring it back for being steamed again and spot cleaned. I highly recommend them for wedding dress, alterations and accessories!!

The biggest compliment I heard during and after my wedding was how amazing my dress was. Everyone, from the women to the men could not believe how amazing my dress was. My brother, who was surprised himself at how awed he was at my dress, couldn't believe how pretty I looked.

Alta Moda did an amazing job making the dress exactly what I wanted. We had to do a lot of alterations to make the dress suitable for the wedding ceremony and they not only met all of the specifications, but they made the dress a fashion statement. It was amazing! I have to thank their seamstress, Sarah, for her unmatched vision and talent. She is truly gifted!

I was very happy with my wedding dress experience at Alta Moda Bridal. I am a very particular person and actually had a designer dress already in mind when I went to try on dresses. I called ahead and they ordered in a sample of the dress I wanted. I was the only bride in the store when trying on dresses, and had 2 people helping me and felt very taken care of. I think they pulled about 12 different dresses for me to try on. I ultimately ended up getting the dress I had originally wanted, but they were so good at pulling dresses for my taste that it was a hard decision ;) (which just means to me they are very good at what they do).
I did their temple ready service, and their seamstress, Sarah, was amazing. She was very attentive and great at listening to my input in building the sleeves and top for my dress. They made sure everything fit to a T. I was very happy with them.
They even will press your dress for you before the wedding (ie. after bridals and before the wedding). My only suggestion is that they include basic alterations in the price of the dress.

Found My Gown

Alta Moda Bridal was the one and only place I looked for a wedding gown. I went there on a girls trip just to have fun trying things on, and thought I didn’t plan for it, I fell in love. The store is gorgeous and everyone was helpful and kind. I had three girlfriends with me and there was plenty of couch space and bubbles for them to chill and have a nice time. The decision-making was hard because each piece was so lovely. The woman who helped me listened intently to what I imagined, offered me all kind of interesting options that I may not have picked myself, and made sure I was clipped and snatched to perfection to really get a sense of what I liked. With all that patience, understanding, and vision, I left the store with the most perfect gown for me. Alta Moda Bridal, thank you!

The staff was super helpful and friendly. Communication was great - I always knew what was going on with my dress. I loved that I was able to take my dress back after my bridals and get it steamed again so it was perfect for the big day - that was a huge help! There was a slightly mix-up with some of the customization that I requested, but they were super great to work with and made things right - which I really appreciated. They are a little more expensive, so I can't say I would recommend them to the budget bride - but if you are willing to spend more for a custom dress, you can't go wrong with Alta Moda.

Alta Moda was my last stop for gown shopping, and I'm so glad that I kept my appointment with them. They had a great selection of gowns that I had not seen anywhere else in Utah, and took the time to help me find a style that suited me and our wedding very well. The consultant was very attentive, even answering my questions about shoes and underpinnings. Their seamstress that handled my alterations was absolutely amazing. I felt very confident, and the dress was amazing. If your budget allows a pricier and better quality gown, I would definitely recommend them.

Good experience

This was the third bridal shop I went to, the girl that helped me picked out all the amazing dresses perfect for my vision.
One issue is all the dresses are so huge, and I was told that all the alterations that I wanted could be completed with the seamstress.
I ended up buying the floor sample. I met with 4 different seamstresses, all of them said they could one thing but could not do something else. I finally settled on the things that the seamstress said she could not do. The seamstress let me know that I was very lucky she took my dress in because others would have turned me away for the dress being 3 sizes too big.
It was disappointing hearing that everything that I was told could be altered to the dress could actually not be done by any seamstress

I went to Alta Moda immediately after I got engaged. I had my eye on a specific gown by a designer I really loved and they had a sample in their store to try on. The appointment process was one of a kind, they had a pedestal waiting for me, offered me water and sat down face-to-face to talk about my vision for my wedding dress. I told them which gown I had found online that I wanted to try on and that my budget was $1500. I really truly felt that "princess experience" going there. The building is gorgeous, quaint and professional looking. It isn't just a white room with beige carpet and a bunch of white dresses.
The consultant I worked with was SO knowledgable about every designer and dress I tried on. I was very impressed.
Unfortunately, the dress I had found online was a ways out of my price range, but I don't blame Alta Moda, for it was the designer I had chose that made the prices, not them. I did return for their accessories sample sale to get a beaded belt to go with the dress I ended up purchasing elsewhere.

Alta Moda maintains one of the finest selection of unique and varied gowns of anyplace I traveled to. Living in California, but getting married in Utah, one would think I would have an easy time finding a dress in the bay area. I went to four stores and a special Etergie, and was still unsuccessful - until I found Alta Moda, and its owner, Hilary Anderson. I was simply blown away by her exquisite taste. Dresses from all four corners of the world, in every price range - and yet the selection is not remotely overwhelming. I came twice, from out of state as I mentioned, and they were lovely. I was having the hardest time finding a dress and then suddenly I put the last one on and wallah! They got it to me on time, had it sized correctly, and we had to do very little alterations to the dress itself. My only complain would be that at least one of the alteration hemming pins stayed in the dress and it got caught on my shoe after my ceremony - that took a little while to get untied with. I have some health issues that require particular fabrics and dress structures to manage comfortably, and they took the time to really listen and address all of the issues, including taking out 7 pounds of the fabric/train so that I could carry the dress on my body without straining my neck - and the dress looked perfect, as if that extra fabric had never even been there in the first place So, overall, a lovely experience, and a dress that I cherished. Thank you Hilary and the Alta Moda staff for everything.

All of their gowns are gorgeous! I wish they had asked me what my budget was before putting me in gowns, I ended up spending twice the amount I had planned. They were incredibly helpful while looking for my dress. Some odd circumstances happened with my wedding and had to wait a year .. but when I went to pick up my dress they weren't as friendly, didn't have me try it on to make sure I liked the fit or anything, and since then they haven't been as nice or easy to work with. For the amount I spent I'd expect a bit better customer service even after the gown was purchased.

I never leave negative reviews, but my experience here was so disappointing. I was measured for my dress but when I came back to pick it up it was way too small (note: I was wearing the same bra and had even lost about 5 pounds since the fitting). I had also ordered it with a nude undertone and when it came in the dress was BROWN. I went to try on the dress and couldn't even get it on. Alta Moda paid to have it altered but I had to drive 1.5 hours to the seamstress they picked for several fittings and in the end she couldn't do what I wanted with the dress because there was only so much fabric to work with. I was so disappointed with the service, especially after spending thousands of dollars on a dress. We were so busy trying to put the wedding on that we weren't able to fully address the problem with them. I do not recommend Alta Moda to friends after this experience.

My custom ordered gown was too small at my fitting, they promised me it would be an easy fix for alterations. When I took it to alterations, they said since it was one piece of fabric the only way to make it fit would be to completely reconstruct the dress, at a hefty cost. When I brought this issue up with Alta Moda they sent some extra fabric but it was too little too late. My seamstress had to add a lace up back, not what you expect after paying many thousands of dollars for a custom gown.

It is unfortunate that I have to leave this review, but I feel it’s important to share my not so great experience with Alta Moda. Every brides dress experience should be as positive as possible, right? Apparently not. Granted, I know not everything goes smoothly at times, but what I went through with my dress was pretty much ridiculous.I purchased a simple dress designed by Alyssa Kristen and had a few simple modifications made to it -one of those simple things was adding lace sleeves -which I picked out in person at Alta Moda. I was under the impression that the lace sleeves I tried on in their store were the exact sleeves that would be added to my dress. I mean, why would you have your clients try on item in your store that aren’t actually available?
My dress arrived mid May (ordered it in January..). The minute I saw it I noticed everything I added to it looked wrong or was missing. I was shocked the staff didn’t take the time to examine the dress and compare it with the notes, or maybe they did and hoped I wouldn’t notice or care that it was not at all what I ordered. The color and pattern were completely different from the lace sleeves that I tried on in their store. If you’re adding lace sleeves to your dress.. please take note, the lace sleeves they have in their store will not be the same lace you will be getting..
I would really hope after my experience they wouldn’t put anyone else through the same experience. Although, with how much the staff seemed to not care about my situation, it wouldn’t surprise me. A month later and 3 or 4 rounds of alterations.. I had to settle for a lace, which really left me disappointed. Unfortunately, I was out of time to get the lace right. If my dress would have arrived sooner I might have had the chance to get the lace right. Was I offered a discount for not receiving what I ordered or for the major inconvenience? Never. They actually asked me to pay the balance the first time I saw my dress (knowing it was completely..

Be prepared to add 10-20% to the cost of your dress for fabric and alterations. The seamstress thought she was wonderful and my dream dress turned out terribly. I had appointments canceled on me and they talked about me when they thought I couldn't hear them. Once you pay, the staff is rude! Alta Moda was the worst part of planning my wedding.

Fit and Flair FAIL

After promising a fitted dress, seamstress blamed designer who blamed seamstress- resulting in a baggy gaping bodice AND down body of dress. Entire upper body viewable by looking down dress. Ugh. Such a disappointment! Do NOT waste your time or money!

Worst bridal gown experience ever! Owner is very rude and pushy. They were not flexible in resolving my dress saga at all!!! If you are wanting a positive bridal gown shopping experience, definitely go elsewhere...anywhere but Alta Moda!
