I won a discount at a Bridal Show and they didn't give me any problems when it came to using the discount. The girl who helped us was very friendly. We didn't have any mess-ups with the tuxes for any of the guys. Everything was in on time and was correct. -

Stephanie at Al's in Frisco, TX was fantastic! She had us organized and booked before we knew it. The guys all knew when and where and were good to go! Price was great - couldn't have been happier! Very easy and professional to work with. -

Tuxes looked great and got some good deals on them. Be sure to visit their booth at any of the bridal shows, they have big discounts including free tux for the groom. -

Al's was so sweet about everything, including helping me get all the guys in for their fitting. With all their locations it made the stress of the grooms men and fathers getting fit easy, because they were able to go into any store and pick up from any store. Super helpful and so very nice. -

Everything was perfect. We had rented a total of 5 suits, 2 of those being out of town groomsmen who had to call in their measurements. When the guys picked up their suits, they were perfect. -

Al's was the only tux shop that carried the hard to find Bright Oklahoma State orange we needed for our wedding. They were great at helping us pick the colors and suit needs and even gave the groom and FOB a free tux.
However because the orange was a special order vest our guys had to pick up tuxes on a Wednesday. The shop employee decided it was okay to close the shop early and left before my groom got to pick up his tux. The shop did make it correct by opening back up for my groom's pick up but it was a bit of frustration to a stressed out bride.
Most of the tuxes fit just fine on the first fitting and the color worked out perfectly. If the shop had more reasonsable store hours and hadn't closed early on us they would have recieved a 5. If you rent from here be willing to bend to their odd store hours. -

We worked with three different locations, the first in Frisco where we ordered from, the second at Lakeline Mall and the third at Barton Creek Mall (both in Austin). It seems like all of our problems stemmed from the Frisco store. We wanted everything black except for the candlelight (offwhite) shirt. Turns out the manager that handled our order put in powder blue for the vests! Ugh, no thanks. So we caught that mistake and fixed that. When we ordered we told the manager that everyone would be picking up at Barton Creek, except for my dad, who would pick up at Lakeline. When we called the week before the wedding to review our order and make sure everything was correct, they had my DH and 2 others (everyone but us lives in Austin) picking up in Frisco! So we had them change that. Also, in October my DH's father passed away, so we contacted Al's to notify them to cancel his father's tuxedo. That somehow didn't go through because they still had his dad's order in the system. So, lots of mistakes that could have been huge, but luckily we caught them. The Lakeline store didn't give us any trouble at all and the Barton Creek store helped us catch and correct the many mistakes the Frisco store made. They have a big selection and are very accessible to people living in different areas, but just stay on them like glue if you use them!!! Luckily everything worked out the day of but they were a big headache to deal with. -

Al's formal wear in Frisco was not the best experience for us! We ordered 11 tuxedos total and most of them were from this location, which is where we had all of the issues. None of the tuxedos fit the first time they came in and the lady who helped us measured two of the pants for two of the guys and said that the measurements that were ordered did not make any sense. Some of the tuxedos did not come in until Thursday and the guys could not go in until Friday to try on, which meant that if they needed to re-order anything they would not receive until Saturday - Wedding day. The WORST thing that happened was my dad (father of the bride) re-ordered his tuxedo pants and went to go pick them up Friday evening. The lady had him put just the pants on so they could check size and they fit good so he left with his tux. Next day he gets to the venue and gets ready to notice that the pants do not match the jacket (the tux is supposed to be black and the pants are navy). The order was put in wrong and the lady did not catch during the fitting.. So my dad had to wear someone else's pants that did not fit at all for our first look and family pictures. My aunt was able to go back to Al's right before the wedding and pick up the old black pair that was too short so that my dad had a matching tux to walk me down the aisle. On top of all of this, I probably received 8 phone calls throughout the few months before the wedding with various employees asking me when we were going to come try on, or to book with them when we had already booked and done try ons. I had to keep telling them and they kept saying, "I'm sorry, I will make a note in the system." It was just not a good experience and I could have dealt with all of it without saying anything until my dad's pants the day of. That caused so much stress and extra work for all involved as our venue was an hour away from Al's.. The ONLY reason I am giving them a 3/5 is because they refunded my dad's and the groom's tux. -

I went with Al's Formal Wear because of a promotion through Alfred Angelo's. We thought we were getting a really good deal until we started looking into some other places. By this time it was too late. While they do have a good selection and they will let you contract at one location and pick up at another it really is not worth the money. -
