Allison was an absolute dream to work with! From the very beginning, she was incredibly helpful—especially when it came to building our day-of timeline. Her experience and calm presence made the entire planning process feel so much more manageable, and on the big day, she was everything we could have hoped for and more.

She captured every moment so beautifully and effortlessly, all while making us feel completely at ease in front of the camera. Our wedding party and family couldn’t stop talking about how kind, professional, and fun she was to be around.

Absolutely Amazing!

Allison's photography speaks for itself, it is so bright and beautiful! It was exactly what I wanted for my wedding, and I'm so thankful I was able to book with her. We could not be happier with the memories she was able to capture. Allison is so helpful and friendly, and she is really thoughtful about how she runs her business. She was always very responsive when I had questions, and she delivered our photos within the expected time frame. We chose to book her for our engagement photos and our wedding day, and we were so glad we did. She made us feel really comfortable and gave us great direction on how to pose both times. She was even happy to work with our two dogs and I absolutely cherish the photos that we have with them as well!

If I could hire Allison to follow me around every day and take pictures of me I would! Why? Because every photo, whether it was staged or natural, came out so good! She made everyone in my wedding party, family, and of course me, feel absolutely at ease all day! I cannot stress this enough: splurge on Allison Jeffers photography. My photos are SO beautiful!

Amazing Photographer!

Allison was our photographer at our 10/16/20 wedding. She photographed our engagement photos as well. She was amazing to work with! She is extremely professional and talented. Our photos were breathtaking and we received so many! She did such a great job capturing every moment and detail. We are so happy to know that we will be able to look back at these photos and remember details about our wedding because of how well she captured everything. Not only is she talented, but she is also such a nice person. I highly recommend her as a photographer! You should also follow her on Instagram because she is hilarious, but also because all of the photos she takes are stunning! We are so grateful to have found such an amazing photographer and hope to use her again for family photos in the future!

Allison is the best

Allison is hands down THE BEST - totally professional and attentive behind the lens and so much fun during the little bits in-between. From the first conversation I had with Allison, I knew I had found a new friend that happened to be a photographer. Although I am a little awkward in pictures, (my husband feels he was a model in a past life, haha), Allison helped make the whole process feel comfortable and most importantly, enjoyable. We, along with all of our family and friends, cannot believe how breathtakingly beautiful the photos are - true works of art. Her photographs truly captured the magic of our wedding day. Allison is amazing

Allison is AMAZING!!! It is hard to quantify how great she was for our wedding, but I will try! She was super flexible with our engagement photos(Which we took a couple of weeks before our wedding LOL). She uploaded and edited the photos in time for us to have them printed out at our wedding. During our wedding, she kept the whole experience stress-free, and knew exactly where she should be to take photos and more importantly, she knew where to put us! My wife and I don't normally take a lot of pictures, but Allison made us feel completely comfortable in front of the camera.

Now to the photos... They were stunning! She got them to us a couple of weeks after the wedding, and they all looked so good. She was able to capture the happiness in all of our faces, and we will be looking back with happiness on the photos she took for years to come.

Not only is Allison a naturally gifted photographer, she is also a wonderful person. She is funny, she is sweet, and she knew exactly what to say to make my wife smile just before taking some of our great photos.

I would highly recommend Allison to anyone looking for a wedding photographer :)

Best wedding photographer

For anyone reading this; don't think twice about booking Allison as your wedding photographer. SHE IS THE BEST!! when I came across her page I immediately fell in love with her work, it is unbelievable stunning! she captures the best pictures and I promise you there will be no picture you won't like! she did our engagements session and I couldn't be more happier, and obviously we were more than satisfied with the results...
Allison made everything so easy for me and my husband on our wedding day....she even had a sewing kit with her; my husbands pants ripped when he tried piking me up lol and guessed who saved the day..ALLISON DID! oh and her associate is awesome. my wedding pictures came out so beautiful and I am just so thankful and blessed that Allison was always there for us and for being able to capture such lovely moments. You are in good hands, reasonable price and YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY ...seriously the best & you won't regret it.

Professional and oh so talented, Allison genuinely wants to make this the best day of your life, and help you never forget it!

For me, one of the most important things about my wedding day was how it was going to be captured. I have a terrible memory, but I wanted to be able to remember this day for the rest of my life, as all brides do! If everything else went wrong, this was the one thing I wanted to go right. After meeting with Allison, my fears literally melted away. I am not an inherently trusting person but I trusted the heck out of this woman, and I am SO glad I did! From her arrival on the morning of the wedding to the last pictures we took in the dead of night (absolutely STUNNING by the way, if you're worried about lighting, worry no more) she was extremely professional, kind, and oh so talented. My husband (still crazy to say husband!!) was worried that he would feel awkward taking pictures, that they would look forced, but she set us both so at ease that they are the most natural things in the world. I truly could not recommend her enough. Her second shooter was equally professional and talented, we got so many phenomenal pictures of the wedding I really still don't believe it. She got a sample of pictures back to us LITERALLY the day after the wedding, like the very next day. The rest of the pictures came out in half the time she said it might take, which was a godsend because I was dying to see them!! I cannot recommend her enough, she far exceeded my expectations and this was the one area I most wanted to go well and was the pickiest about. Literally, the best experience and the best photos, thank you so so much Allison!!!

Luxury wedding photography at it's finest

Holy guacamole!! How can I possibly say something about Allison that hasn't already been said?! I feel like I'm writing my wedding vows because I want my words to do her justice here. A simple review doesn't seem like enough. Photos stunning beyond measure, the work ethic and efficiency of a CEO, the heart of an angel, & a deep love for what she does and who she does it for... this is luxury wedding photography at it's finest. Her social media game is on point - she gives you little sneak peaks from shoots, talks about her experience on Insta, reps you in her blog, and I could go on and on. She will give you all her love and attention and you will see the proof throughout the entire process. Allison hits the mark in every way possible and exceeds all expectations. BRIDES, you'd be lucky to have her. Book her now.

Special shout out to her assistant photog, who is a ray of sunshine. She gave me her expensive lip gloss during a shoot because I was worried about my lips looking dry... how freaking sweet?! I enjoyed getting to know both of them so much that they feel like friends. We laughed, we cried, and we had a blast.

If Allison doesn't get every award this year, the system is rigged because you'd be hard pressed to find someone better. Don't believe me? Read the hundreds of other reviews just like mine.

When we got engaged I booked all of our vendors within the first month, except a wedding photographer. We originally had Allison down for just engagement photos. I really did not know just how much of our wedding budget I wanted to spend on a photographer, but I did know that I was not willing to pay for photos I would not absolutely love!
For 9 months I found myself going back to Allisons business page obsessing over her work. I finally told Nathan we HAVE to book her. We booked Allison in March, and got married in August! Thank goodness she was still available!
Allison did our engagement session, my bridal session, and the wedding. I seriously love EVERY single photo!
Allison is so easy to be around! And even better, she makes you feel comfortable in front of the camera. I hate having my pictures taken, so that was a big deal for me. Nathan on the other hand had absolutely no problem with it. haha
Invest in Allison Jeffers! She will not disappoint!

After we got engaged we immediately started looking at photographers, we met with multiple photographers at various price ranges(ballin’ on a budget). When we met with Allison we were leery on just how much of our budget we wanted to spend on photography. Going in to the meeting we didn’t really care much about engagement pictures or bridal photos, leaving the meeting we felt comfortable with a package that included both. Allison’s work speaks for itself. We feel like we got our “monies worth” plus so much more after getting our pictures back! Allison is so professional, funny and full of wedding advice when asked. She made us feel comfortable in all of our sessions and our pictures are timeless. We hired her to capture our wedding day but she did so much more. She started out just being our photographer and over this whole process became our friend. The saddest part of the whole wedding day was having to tell her goodbye. Do yourself a favor and book her!

I can’t begin to say enough great things about Allison and her photography!! She has been an absolute joy to work with! Not only does she fulfill her role as photographer, but she’ll offer any advice she has regarding other vendors on your big day or really any question I had in regards to my wedding and what she thought would be best/ work best for photos! It was like reuniting with my best friend the first time I met Allison! I received both my wedding and engagement photos in a quick, timely fashion ( didn’t have to wait 6 weeks, even with my wedding being during one of her busiest times!). She did a fantastic job of capturing the energy of the weddingand all the special moments that come along with a wedding! I would recommended Allison and her team in a heartbeat! I expected a lot from Allison given her fantastic reviews and she did not disappoint! She was SO FANTASTIC!! First off, she is very down to earth and friendly and put us at ease almost immediately. I have always hated having my photo taken and am a pretty awkward person but Allison managed to make me look natural and at ease even when we were in what felt like funny poses. Allison is also extremely professional- she is very responsive, always on time (early) and super efficient with her work. I don't know how she got so many amazing images, but she did! Finally, Allison was so flexible and accommodated a few unusual requests... She totally went with our wacky plan to have a canoe processional and even had us get back in the canoe a few times throughout the night. She took some truly amazing photos (technically and artistically very impressive) that I will cherish for the rest of my life. Can't recommend her highly enough- book her now!

Allison Jeffers is absolutely AMAZING. I honestly don't know what I would have done without her. It ended up raining on my wedding day (my personal nightmare), but she knew exactly what to do and took stunning photos in the rain that ended up being everyone's favorites. She was prepared for the weather and brought adorable clear umbrellas that we used for wedding party photos. My coordinator was also nowhere to be found most of the day/night, so Allison became my go-to. She was calm, reassuring, sweet, and knowledgeable, jumping in to help direct us when the wedding party and I were completely clueless. She went so far above and beyond her call of duty. She also works super quickly and efficiently. Something that is a must during the chaos of the wedding day. She is quick at editing as well. We received our photos back within just 3 weeks. Allison was great! I had looked for photographers for a while and I came across her work and I really loved her style. So I reached out and it was like talking with a friend. She is really down to earth and welcoming. When we met on our wedding day it was like we had been friends already. She made me feel really comfortable! Her work is awesome, she really covered everything about our special day. I don’t think she left out one detail at all, which is special in remembering our special day years from now. I am sure all brides are eager to see what their wedding photos look like and with Allison I did not have to wait long. She got our pictures to us really quick and they were beautiful. If you have seen her work then you know exactly what you are getting!

Where do I start?! This woman is amazing. The photographer was the most important vendor to me, and Allison far exceeded our expectations. Not only is she insanely talented, professional, and easy to work with, she is so much fun and you can tell that she truly enjoys her work and wants to make your experience wonderful. With Allison, we got more than a photographer; we made a new friend. We were amazed at the quality and sheer volume of photos that were taken at our wedding. Nothing was left uncaptured! The turnaround was crazy fast too, we had all of our wedding photos the day after we returned from our honeymoon. I was also not one of those brides that felt like a bridal session was needed, but it came with the package we selected so she talked me into doing it up right. Man am I glad she did! It was a great practice run for hair, makeup, and flowers, and we had a blast. We ended up buying the rights to all of the photos from the engagement session and the bridal session, so I would say just go ahead and be prepared to love every photo and get rights to all of them up front. You won't be disappointed!

The photographer for our wedding fell through two months before our date, and we were sooooo very lucky to find that Allison was available for our wedding day! Honestly, her services were out of our price range, but my best friend paid a large part of the photography costs behind my back in order to get us to go with this wonderful photographer. My best friend had hired Allison as her own wedding photographer two years ago, so she knew that getting Allison to shoot our wedding would be worth the money---and man, was she right!
Allison was incredibly flexible, quick to respond to e-mail correspondence, and very skilled at getting my now husband and I to figure out what kind of style of photography we were interested in having for our wedding photos. She made the experience both personal and fun, and we really enjoyed getting to know her better. On our wedding day, she made us feel completely at ease, and she proved herself very capable of handling our numerous family members, wrangling the wedding party, and she was great with the little kids too! She paid a lot of attention to detail, and she was open to all the last-minute ideas we had for photos we decided we wanted to have (for example, a photo with all the cousins, a few pictures by our memory table, etc). She was very patient with us and added no stress at all to our day.
So far, you can gather that Allison is kind, friendly, and willing to accommodate the bride and groom's requests---all good attributes that make the pre-wedding process flow much more smoothly. Now for the most important fact: her skill set is out of this world! The pictures from our wedding day turned out unbelievably beautiful, and I am so very happy that we went with Allison as our wedding photographer! From thoughtful detail shots to the photo-journalistic angles, from delicately posed photos of the happy couple to jaw-dropping, undeniably gorgeous night shots, Allison can do it all so very well!!!

Allison was a joy to work with! Not only were her pictures to die for (my friends are swooning over the night photos), but she was so incredibly laid back, sweet, and professional. Allison and I first met in person at my bridal session and she immediately made me feel at ease in front of the camera and reminded me how much fun my wedding day was going to be! She had our entire wedding album finished in record time, which was so appreciated. At one point the weather forecast showed an 80% chance of rain on our wedding day, so whenever I started worrying about rain, I’d pull up Allison’s blog and look at all of her gorgeous rainy day pictures to make myself feel better. First off, some advice to every bride. Invest in your wedding photos! The day goes by so fast, and having the photos to look back on and reminisce in the memories is so important. Like most brides, I looked at the cost of a photographer and cringed. "It costs that much to have photos taken?!" But, I learned why. When you have a photographer that is willing to put in the time and effort to take multiple pictures and edit them, all the while making sure you are comfortable when taking the photos, it is well worth the effort.

Allison definitely has a talent for photography. Anybody who sees my engagement/bridal photos can definitely tell that she is one in a million! Not only is she friendly and bubbly, making you feel oh-so comfortable, she is also very diligent and timely.

Both my engagement & bridal photos were done within 1 to 2 weeks, and they were all beautiful. Unlike other photographers, Allison gives you many options to pick from. I got at least 120 engagement photos and 160 bridal!

Trust me, if you go with Allison, you won't regret it! She is simply awesome!

The advice I would give... is book her!! Long story short, a few months out from my wedding I ended up looking for a new/more local photographer for our wedding. With a photography and graphic design background myself let's just say this was no easy feat for my wedding planner and I.. I'll admit I can be a bit hypercritical of wedding photography. All of that to say, Allison was quick to respond when we reached out to her and quick to let us know that she was available/interested and I LOVED that she also shared about herself in the process. We didn't get to meet before the wedding weekend, but I felt like a already knew her when we met for the first time. She was lovely to work with on the wedding day, WELL prepared with creative ideas, and she got our pictures back to us in record speed. Literal record speed. Based on friends' experiences with their wedding photographers, I expected to wait at least a month for the pictures. I won't give the exact timeline as to not set false expectations because I know circumstances can change turn-around times but let's just say I was still unpacking from the wedding when we received the email that our pictures were ready for us. She was one of the best decisions we made in the entire planning process!! Thank you, Allison, for capturing our day so beautifully and for being such wonderful soul to work with on such a special day!!

Allison is by far the best choice we could have made for a wedding photographer. There is a lot more to Allison than her amazing skill to take some great pictures- she is SO easy to work with and makes everything look so natural. It felt so good to look at my new husband and say, "We made the right decision," as we looked through our wedding photos. I was able to whole heartedly feel this way through the whole wedding photo process because Allison is so professional and fun. We are not people who are used to being in tons of pictures, so she had her work cut out for her. However, she was able to make us feel at ease every step of the way. She is very responsive to communication throughout the whole wedding planning process. Her prices are such a good value for her talent and work ethic. She is prompt, professional, and friendly. I can't say enough about how fantastic Allison was to work with!! I live in California and I never met or spoke to her on the phone until we met 2 hours before my wedding. Allison was one word...phenomenal! We met prior to the wedding for engagement photos on a Sunday afternoon. Allison provided tons of tips and tricks for getting the most out of our photos. Gorgeous, beautiful, timeless photos! I was so lucky to get Allison Jeffers to shoot my wedding. I had seen and LOVED her gorgeous photos months before I was ready to lock in a photographer and never in my wildest dreams did I think she would be free to shoot for me by the time I was to confirm someone. From the minute we started emailing I knew that not only was she a great photographer but a great gal who was going to make the day fun. Allison is absolutely AMAZING!!! From the beginning, she was so kind, professional, helpful, and talented. I was not able to meet Allison before the wedding, due to my schedule, but I never once had any concerns. She answered all of my questions, gave me helpful advice (she actually provided me a recommended timeline of events which was AWESOME!), and was so easy to get along and work with.
She is also incredibly talented at what she does. Our wedding photographs came out better than I could have ever imagined. It wasn't until after the ceremony that my family informed me they disliked the idea of having a bubble exit from the church UNTIL they saw the photos Allison produced. I've had so many compliments on the quality of our photos and everything they captured from that day. She was such a blessing!
We would definitely recommend Allison to anyone in search of a photographer. I know I will be using her in the future!

She was able to navigate chaos, reign in crazy family member for family photos, and even show me how to cut the freakin' cake LOL. Allison was AMAZING! I found her on theknot.com, and after chatting briefly through email, I knew she was it. Our engagement session location had to be changed last minute, but Allison jumped right in and relocated us and got to work! Our pictures were amazing and Allison really made us loosen up and feel comfortable in front of the camera. With communication from then to the wedding 6 months later, I could not have asked for someone more patient! I wasn't always fast with my replies as I was going crazy towards the end, but Allison was so accommodating.
Our wedding pictures were amazing! She is absolutely incredible in capturing real and FUN images! During the ceremony and reception, Allison managed to capture all of the details I missed with being "in the moment".
Very shortly after the wedding I received the file with all of the images and I was blown away! I am STILL working on deciding which to print- there were that many incredible pictures.

Allison is such an amazing person! My husband and I were married on April 23rd and we are so thrilled that we chose her. Let me start out by saying our wedding would not have been the same without Allison Jeffers. She is truly a talented photographer and a wonderful person to work with. Of all the photographers I contacted for quotes for my wedding Allison responded by far the fastest. She was very prompt in responding to my emails and questions, often within minutes of me sending them. Neither my husband nor I are photo people which means we have no idea what should be done for a photo. Allison was very professional, gave lots of tips and had a bunch of ideas for great and unique shots. She was even able to give a suggestion of when the best time to take photos at our wedding would be based on the sun set time. She was very punctual with photo delivery. We had our edited photos back in less than two weeks and the quality is fantastic. Allison was wonderful! Our photos turned out amazing. We did engagement photos, bridals, and wedding day photos with her and got to know her fairly well. She was fun to work with and made me feel comfortable. I would definitely recommend her!

This was the second wedding within a year for my family; We got smarter with the second wedding! The first wedding we "experienced" three photographers and NONE were as good as Allison Jeffers. She's professional, intuitive and creative. Her ability to capture every moment of my daughter's special day was incredibly accurate and perfect!

Allison is an excellent photographer and did an amazing job with my wedding photos. I didn't have the opportunity to meet with Allison before the wedding because I am not from the Kerrville area. This made me quite nervous because I didn't know what to expect. Allison is so friendly and easy to work with that I felt comfortable with her from the start. She was so helpful throughout the entire day. She went above and beyond my expectations. I would highly recommend her to do anyone's wedding photos.

Allison has a great eye for capturing special moments and her creativity and style will provide you with beautiful photographs you can cherish for years to come. I asked Allison to take photos for my wedding back in October of last year and I couldn't have been more pleased. Her friendly personality makes it easy to relax and feel your best, and she conducts herself in a professional manner that makes her a pleasure to work with. The Hill Country is lucky to have such a talented photographer and I would strongly recommend using her for any special occasion.

Allison is a dream to work with! She is professional, quick to respond, accommodating, compassionate (my "bride brain" was a force to be reckoned with prior to the wedding!), and a brilliant photographer. She was relaxed and a comforting voice the day of our wedding, and kept all of us (family, guests, wedding party, etc.) at ease with her wit and humor - a true bright spot during a hectic time. Her eye for posed shots is incredible, and her ability to capture the feeling of our event with beautiful candid photos is amazing. Everyone who has seen her images compliments them over and over.The stunning shots she captured really did our day justice, and for that, I'm forever thankful!

My husband and I wanted our wedding pictures to be unique and really reflect our personalities. Allison was there from start to finish and captured every moment of our happiness. Allison was a complete joy to work with. She shot my wedding at Haven River Inn in Comfort, TX in May 2014. She was so easy going and sweet on the wedding day, she just faded into the background, I completely forgot she was there! And then to see the hundreds of photos she got it was just a wonderful gift!! She got the sweetest candids, and really had a great eye for capturing our crazy, silly family. She also got some lovely "details" shots and made great use of the natural beauty of the venue, getting some nice "big" shots with the cypress trees, pecan trees, and the river. We were 100% happy with Allison and can't wait to use her for other family events for years to come. She is a GREAT value for what you are getting - top of the line photos, and a lot of them!!

Allison was great! She listened to our ideas and kept them in mind throughout. She braved the cold and the rain for our engagement photos and the freezing cold for my bridals. She was professional, on time, and unobtrusive during the wedding. I thought our pictures turned out wonderfully and I got them back in a timely manner!

First of all, I immediately liked Allison because we have the same name.. but she soon made it obvious that she is just an all around GREAT person! She worked with us on our budget and we came to an agreement that both of us could work with. She made me feel so special from the first time I talked to her! The day of the wedding, she showed up and we got right to business taking pictures. I never had to worry about where she was, or what she was getting pictures of- she got everything! I would 110% recommend Allison to anyone, anywhere. She is fabulous! She even helped bustle my dress-- thank GOD! It would have taken forever without her. My husband and I brought together two families-- including 4 children. She was great with them! They don't always have the patience I want them to have :) Especially for a million family pictures! But she definitely made me feel assured that she got atleast one where they are all looking! :)

Book with Allison-- you won't regret it! She is honestly the best person.. and even better photographer! That's saying a lot :) Thank you Allison for everything! Our wedding would not have been what it was without you.

Allison is such a talented photographer. My husband is in the military and we have had such a hard time being able to set a date for our ceremony. Allison has worked with us for months when plans have changed multiple times. On Monday we were able to get married legally at the Kerrville courthouse and she captured that day beautifully. We will be having our formal wedding ceremony in February and I cant wait to see how she helps us photograph the most important day of our lives! Plus she is incredibly sweet and so detail oriented :)

Allison Jeffers was the photographer for two of our daughters’ weddings, and there is no question she will be the wedding photographer for our other two daughters as well. Whether it’s the engagement session, the bridal session, or the wedding itself, Allison is not only professional, getting the job done with focus, attentiveness, and high-quality skill, she is also creative, artistic, and unique in her approach. Unusual angles, fun props, imaginative poses, and inventive backdrops are just some of the ways her photography brings life to the people and memories involved.
Allison is diligent and thorough in getting every picture specifically requested, but even more impressive to me is that she has an eye for perception; never missing a good photo opportunity; capturing subtle moments that a lesser photographer might have missed, and encapsulating beauty and romance into a still image that will forever be treasured.

Allison, came in blind. Everything has literally been thrown together. She was the only thing I planned ahead on. She wasn't familiar with the venue and due to my work and mom schedule we never really say and discussed what I expected or wanted. She was there early to score the place out a little. She took beautiful pictures that day. Her photography made everything look so well put together and special. I absolutely love every photo. They are amazing.

Met Allison at a wedding last summer, was very impressed with her professionalism and frankly amazed at the album she produced. When my daughter announced her engagement and picked her venue, I got the crazy idea to have Allison come out to Oregon! I'm glad I did, and that she was the one who said yes! Her shots are creative and really catch the spontaneity of the moment, and she did justice to our beautiful Oregon venue! The lighting at this evening wedding under a canopy of trees didn't seem to give her any challenge and she got some great night shots.

Greedy Heartless

My daughter hired Allison Jeffers photography on April 10 for her wedding to be held December 14. We paid a deposit of over 40% of her fee. The contract stated the deposit was non refundable. A month later we discovered very disturbing information about the fiancé causing the wedding to be cancelled. We were all distraught, especially the bride to be. Thirty days after the deposit was paid to Allison, and seven months before the event, we requested the photography deposit be returned but the deposit was non-refundable. Allison had not done any work. The date was blocked out on her calendar for a short period of time and the wedding would have been in seven months, plenty of time to book another affair. Unexpected events happen in life.
