Allie did a wonderful job on our engagement photography!
Her work is beautiful and cohesive. She was very flexible with our schedule and so helpful in picking out locations. She even went out of her way to finish the photographs before Christmas so we could also use them for our holiday card. We can't wait for her to photograph our wedding in June! -

We absolutely LOVED having Allie capture our once-in-a-lifetime celebration. It would have been enough to just have her beautiful, detail-oriented photos from the wedding day, but what made working with Allie so much fun is that she is an incredibly kind, warm, and patient person. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed getting to know her over the past several months! Leading up to the big day, we met her for an engagement session - which was awesome, despite it being a freezing Chicago day - and she helped us plan all the details for the photos. On our wedding day, she made sure we got all the photos we wanted, which was so important because the chaos of the wedding day made it challenging to ensure every moment was captured. In addition to beautiful photos of us and our loved ones, her photos captured the beauty of our venue. In short-- Stop searching and hire Allie!!!! (Also, we absolutely recommend having your wedding on a rainy or freezing day, because Allie will somehow make it look gorgeous. She’s magic!) -

The Absolute Best Experience - Start to Finish
I cannot say enough about how absolutely amazing Allie is! She is everything you could possibly ask for in a talented, professional, kind, and intuitive wedding photographer. Going into wedding planning, my partner and I had a pretty strong vision for the kind of party we wanted to throw, and Allie totally got it. She understood our references and inspiration, which helped her to know what sort of shots we'd want captured. The gallery she delivered was 100% divine and artful and completely aligned with our aesthetic.
On our wedding day, I was definitely a bit anxious about being photographed, but Allie put not only me, but my partner and our wedding party, at ease. She was complimentary over how initial shots were coming out, and her excitement over our looks and locations was super contagious. She perfectly strode the line of giving plenty of thoughtful direction while remaining encouraging and positive. Allie was a calming presence on an otherwise hectic day, which was exactly what I needed.
Just a couple days after our wedding, Allie delivered a beautiful preview of our photo gallery. She included the best and most important moments of our ceremony and reception, but also the more editorial setups we had chatted about that she knew I was excited to see. The preview collection of photos was exactly was I wanted to share on social media, and had myself (and friends and family) chomping at the bit for the complete set.
When Allie shared our photo gallery in full, it took my parter and me a few full days to click through and notice the details of every shot and edit. Anytime I wondered if she included a version of a special moment in black and white, there it was! Her retouching and lighting are natural and un-clockable, and every shot is framed beautifully. She delivered us almost 2,000 incredible photos, which have already inspired countless reminiscences and memories of our celebration.
From our initial consultation, to rescheduling due to the pandemic, to receiving our full photo gallery, Allie made everything easy, fun, and lovely. Anyone getting married (or celebrating any life moment) would be lucky to get to work with Allie. -

The BEST experience
Wow. Where do I even start? Allie is a true treasure. A gem. A one-of-a-kind. Not only is she extremely talented, she is a wonderful human being. I can’t imagine our wedding day without her. As an anxious bride, Allie made me feel so comfortable, beautiful, and calm. I will forever cherish our photos and, more importantly, our friendship. Thank you, Allie!!! -

My fiance and I used Allie for our engagement photos in Chicago and could not have asked for a better experience. Allie was so fun to work with and made us feel comfortable and relaxed during the whole engagement session. We felt like we really connected with Allie's personality, and she was so easy to work with which made our session super fun and relaxed! We would recommend Allie to any other couples looking for a natural and quality experience with a photographer. -

After the first photographer we had in mind bailed on our meeting, we soon realized that this was a blessing in disguise! Had that not happened we would have never found Allie who was leaps and bounds a better fit for our wedding. Right off the bat we felt at ease with Allie and loved the photos she was producing for other couples and after our meeting with her we knew we wanted to hire her. The day of the wedding she never rushed us, was calm cool and collected and fun to be around. During intimate moments you would have never realized she was there, but from the photos she took it seemed like she was everywhere all at once. Then when it was time for her to be in charge she did a fantastic job directing family, friends and the wedding party. She captured every important moment and more! I can't imagine recommending anyone other than her at any price point her photos were beyond amazing! -

I was lucky enough discover Allie working alongside her in the event industry, and I knew since the moment I saw her work she would be my wedding photographer. Photography-wise Allie's dark, moody, and cinematographic quality to the images she creates are surreal and magical. Personality-wise, Allie herself is the sweetest person in the world and an absolute joy to share our journey with. Can't recommend her highly enough! -

My wife and I worked with Allie for our wedding. We found her on Instagram and could not be happier with our experience. As an LGBTQ couple, we were nervous about finding wedding vendors who could help give us the wedding we imagined, but Allie did all of that and more. Her kind spirit shines through and she is the most game photographer. My wife and I did not necessarily know what we wanted for both our engagement or wedding photos and it felt like we dragged Allie all around the city! But the entire time she was so excited and took absolutely beautiful images everywhere we went.
All our photos look like us, not awkward or staged. Allie captured us and our love. She is a friend, an artist, and a true joy to work with. -

I'm a professional event planner and I can't recommend Allie as a photographer enough. She is one of my preferred vendors and I love working with her. When I needed headshots, she was my go to. My headshots are AMAZING you guys. She is the sweetest, kindest and most thoughtful photographer you will ever meet. And on top of that she has an incredible eye. She knows how to create a shot that will make you look and feel like Beyonce. She is fantastic with lighting and has amazingly creative ideas to showcase who you are and document all of the biggest moments of your wedding day. SHE IS FIERCE!!!
