THIS is your DJ!

I genuinely cannot say enough good things about Allegro. From start to finish, Dori and her staff were completely dedicated to making my day as special as possible. I asked a lot of questions along the way, but they were equally as forthcoming with information. I never felt lost in the planning process, or like I was unsure what our next steps were. A lot of wedding service planning packets can be kind of vague or leave you confused about what information to put down, but Allegro's planning packet is so simple and straightforward; it takes a lot of the pressure off, and makes the planning process feel easy and manageable!

I also HAVE to emphasize how patient and caring Dori and her staff were as I had to cancel my wedding date in 2021, and reschedule for 2022. I know so many COVID brides who were completely ghosted or put out by their wedding vendors during the pandemic, but Allegro was incredibly compassionate and accommodating, despite the fact that I'm sure the pandemic was hard on them as well.

Our reception was absolutely perfect! Jason and his assistant were a dream team, and never left me wondering what we were supposed to do the day of! Their announcement timing for different events throughout the night was perfect. They blended a great amount of party music to keep the guests dancing all night long with my and my husband's favorite songs flawlessly. Due to some last minute antics on the part of the reception venue at the end of the of the night, my husband and I had to miss our last dance, but when my husband asked if they could replay the song, they were happy to do so, which was extremely kind considering the long night of work they'd already done. I absolutely made sure to leave a tip!

Seriously, if you're still thinking about who you should go with for your celebration, just pick Allegro! I couldn't have asked for a better experience! Thank you Allegro! You made planning my wedding reception a joy!

Top-Notch Wedding Vendor

I've been working with Dori since I started working at Bogey Hills Country Club. I only have vendors on our preferred-vendor list that I’ve personally worked with that I can vouch do an above-and-beyond, outstanding job… Allegro never disappoints. Dori is extremely professional and efficient. I always know our brides are in excellent hands with her, so I never have to worry. She is always quick to return an email or phone call, and her organizational skills keep every event on-point from beginning to end. One of my favorite qualities about Dori, is her warmth and care when meeting with our brides. It's a wonderful blessing to get to work with another professional who is upbeat and positive, exuding passion for their work. I am very confident and grateful to be able to recommend her to our brides for their big day!

Awesome DJ!

Allegro was very organized and easy to work with! We had DJ Eric for our wedding. He called us the week before to make sure all of our details were correct in our schedule. We purchased a light that included our names and wedding date. I really wanted it projected up on the stone fireplace at our venue and Eric made sure that happened. He also brought uplighting that enhanced our venue! We really liked his DJ booth setup as well. It looked so cool and professional. He kept us on schedule throughout the night. He made changes to our music genre during our reception at our request and kept people dancing, despite a tricky venue layout with the bar and photo booth being around the corner away from the dance floor! It was such a fun night! We would recommend Allegro for any event!

Fantastic DJ!

We used Allegro Entertainment after hearing them at a friend's wedding. We love their style and energy and it totally made our reception better. Dori was great to work with and knew what we wanted without us saying anything. Our DJ, Eric, was fantastic and helped the reception schedule run so smoothly. Even during the rain, he stayed out there and made sure that we were having the best time. I HIGHLY recommend using Allegro Entertainment and Eric as your DJ!

We loved working with Allegro! They were very detail-oriented during our planning process. They listened to our input and helped us create the perfect playlists for our wedding. We got a lot of compliments on the music during our reception. The dance floor was full the entire night. Our DJ did a great job choosing the order of the songs. We had a wonderful experience with Allegro and highly recommend them.

We used Allegro Entertainment for our daughter's wedding. We hired a string quarter from them and they did an unbelievable job of providing the music and set the entire tone of the night. It was a pleasure to work with Dori. I highly recommend Allegro.

Allegro lived up to their reputation as one of St. Louis' premiere DJ services! Professional, flexible, attentive - they were all of that and more! Dori was excellent in the initial stages, establishing a high-touch relationship and ensuring all of our needs and concerns were addressed and the process was seamless. Eric was our DJ and he did a great job setting up the room with his sleek lighting, monogram, and DJ booth. He made sure guests of all ages hit the dance floor and that they enjoyed each song that was played - he really knows how to get the party going! We would highly recommend Allegro!

I was extremely pleased we were with our experience with Allegro Entertainment. My wedding at Innsbrook was wonderful and The DJ did an amazing job with the music and the reception. He was in contact with me the week before the wedding and also throughout the day at the wedding. We had lots of compliments on him; lots of fun and full of energy! Allegro was amazing in that they made sure every detail was discussed regarding the music choices. I really appreciated the agenda they created and loved how organized they were months before and leading up to the wedding day. They were very prompt in returning emails and phone calls. I would definitely recommend them to anyone.

Dori was an amazing helper she helped us the entire time. She responded to my emails as promptly as possible. Eric was our DJ for the night. He called me a few days before our wedding and talked to me to make sure that everything was perfect on paper before the wedding. Day of was even better. He surprised us with a special gift at the end of the night. Everyone had an amazing time. We got so many compliments about how much fun everyone had. We had such a fantastic experience with Allegro for our wedding! DJ Eric was incredible. He played as many songs off our request list as possible and kept the party going all night long. He was extremely attentive to the schedule of the evening and made sure that all our important events (garter and bouquet tosses, first dances, etc.) were completed before our photographer left. Dori was a dream to work with - so sweet and extremely responsive! I would recommend Allegro to anyone getting married in St. Louis! It was perfect for us :)

Everyone at Allegro was incredibly helpful with the planning process! We had a simple DIY wedding and Dori was a huge help in making things come together! We were able to pass on the wedding coordinator due to their involvement! Eric was fantastic at the wedding! I had so many friends love the music he played and kept my guests dancing all night. He listened to what I wanted and helped keep the reception moving so there wasn't much down time. I highly recommend Allegro to anyone planning a wedding!

Dori (the owner) at allegro is the best! She made my ceremony music perfect. Our reception was fun but our DJ could have been more up beat and attentive to the flow of the evening. Our lighting was beautiful and made our venue pop. Overall, we had a good experience.

Allegro Entertainment and DJ Eric were FABULOUS! We used them for both our ceremony and reception, and were so happy about our choice. The DJ can really make or break and party, and DJ Eric really made our reception a blast. The dance floor was never empty! He picked the perfect songs to keep the party going. Also, we could tell Eric enjoys what he does because he was so into the music dancing and lip syncing...our guests absolutely loved it! Allegro Entertainment was great about making sure we had our planning packet finished and that they understood everything we wanted from them. Then the DJ called us a few nights ahead of the wedding to make sure he had all the pronunciations of names correct. We could not have been happier with their service and highly recommend them for anyone having a wedding or party!

We are so impressed with Angie and Andrew! Angie helped us through the process of getting ready for our wedding. She listened to our ideas, showed us different versions of songs we could use, and helped us make changes as the planning process went on. Andrew was our DJ and did an amazing job. He was great at introducing speeches, and major events but keeping the focus on the music and dancing. Our family loves to dance and he kept the dance floor crowded all night. Allegro was easy to work with and is very professional. I would use them again and again!

Dori and Angie did an amazing job with my Missouri Wedding! I'm super picky about music, but Angie was super accommodating and even went through all my song choices with me to ensure they had the exact songs I wanted for my ceremony and reception. And although my family wasn't really up for a party, Dori did an amazing job keeping the crowd entertained and I received many compliments on Allegro's professionalism. The girls at Allegro definitely made my wedding perfect.

Dori was great to work with. The only problem we had was not knowing who our actual DJ was until the week of the Wedding and he wasn't as "outgoing" as we had hoped. Other than that everything was great.

We just used Allegro for our reception and they were great! They were very flexible with our requests and played everything we requested. They kept us well informed every step of the way and made sure we were always on the same page with the agenda. We had Eric as our DJ and he was a lot of fun! He was very energetic and always told us when he was getting ready to start events or make announcements. I would definitely recommend Allegro for an event like this!

We loved Allegro! We booked them after seeing them at a wedding show and took advantage of one of their packages that included a gobo light, 10 uplights, and DJ services. Every staff member that we were in contact with was wonderful. - Always cheerful and eager to help and answer questions. They paid close attention to out must-play and do not-play list and our DJ, Eric, was on point with our musical taste and style and I think everyone enjoyed our reception from the youngest guest to the oldest. The gobo light really added the right amount of flare to our reception and the uplighting really set the ambience for the entire reception. We have heard nothing but compliments! We would recommend them to anyone.

I thought the staff at Allegro were all really helpful. We had no idea what kind of music we wanted for our ceremony, but they went through a bunch of songs with us and really helped us pick music that was individualized toward us. On the day of our ceremony, we had rain scares, and so we had to shorten the ceremony and change some things. Our DJ did a great job being flexible with that! Definitely recommend them!

Allegro was absolutely wonderful to work with. We contracted with them just a couple months before our wedding date as our original DJ fell through. Dori was able to guide us through the whole process of picking out songs and were very helpful with recommendations when we were unsure of what we wanted. The DJ (Josiah) was great and did a fantastic job. We also used their up lighting and it completely enhanced our reception space and matched our colors perfectly.

I met Dori at a Bridal Show. I instantly knew I wanted to use them. I signed up that day and worked out the details with her at a later date. They were able to customize our songs and the DJ we worked with was perfect. Very personable without being over peppy or annoying. They had a custom table set up with colored lights to match your colors. Took requests, but didn't play it if it was inappropriate.

We started out working with Megan who's in charge in the office. She is so personable and funny but also professional as well. She met every demand we had and there was alot :) she paired us with the perfect DJ who was Anthony and he did a great job of feeling out the crowd and people were on the dance floor all night!. Our DJ was great! Once we met with Allegro and decided on the style and overall theme of the wedding, we didn't doubt that it would be a great night. They didn't stray from our list, which made it perfect! We had a GOBO from them as well, it was great quality and they had so many designs to pick from! Our DJ (Eric) also made sure the night flowed nicely, with no prompts from me, since you all know, I had a few other things on my mind ;-)

Sounds hard to believe....and we did anticipate something would probably happen....but Allegro had Dori do our event and she made our experience wonderful. The lighting, the organization, the timing, & of course, the sound system....from the wedding to the cocktail hour to the reception...everything ran seamlessly. We felt welcomed to talk with Dori when anything came up like the spontaneous speech's and music requests. No attitude....just wanted us to be happy. She presented all the Bride&Grooms requests without a hitch. The lighting just seemed to compliment the room and make everyone feel they were in a very special event. Dori was phenomenal! Dori and team were amazing to work with from the very beginning. I could not have asked for a better experience. Dori was very attentive, quick to make helpful suggestions and extremely organized which I appreciated as an out of town bride. She was very patient despite multiple changes and requests that were made by my new husband and I. Where to begin....Meagan was amazing! She organized a timeline from our cermony to the last dance. I really wouldn't know what I would've done without her. The uplighting for our reception was amazing, they matched the color to the exact green that I wanted. The dance floor was PACKED all night. Meagan and Steven our DJ was very professional, dressed to impress, and an all around great ! As the bride and groom you are always worried about the music and if your guests are having a good time, there was no doubt about it everyone was having a GREAT time. We received tons of complements on our reception as to they have not had this much fun at a wedding in a long time or ever! Thanks Meagan and Steven for making our night so very special!!!

Working with Allegro and especially Dori was great. Our guests had a great time dancing at the reception. Allegro did a great job at my daughter's wedding. The lighting work was awesome, the music was a good variety, and they stayed off the mic (can't stand those annoying DJ's). It was all about the party from the moment they set up until 11pm on the dot when we had to stop. Dori didn't pack up a minute early and did everything the exact way we had discussed beforehand. My daughter's guests didn't leave the dance floor and even my guests were up enjoying it! One of my daughter's guests provided us with a "special performance" and Dori handled it with great professionalism and fun! I would definitely book them again and I plan on pre-booking Allegro for all my children's weddings!

Allegro Entertainment was awesome. We had a country hoedown in lieu of a rehearsal dinner. Everyone got involved and had the best time. The band got people who NEVER dance to join in and have fun. Stu and Dori mixed up the perfect mix of songs, and I can not tell you how many people commented that our wedding was the most fun time they have ever had at a wedding. Party all night!

a. Go to Allegro for all you DJ needs. Allegro came with our wedding package and I couldn’t be happier. From the day we booked our venue, Allegro reached out and sent us a packet to house all our songs for the ceremony and reception. They have you choose songs from grandparents and parents walking down the aisle to songs you want played at your reception. The packet is very detailed and they even send song recommendations! We love being on the dance floor so we wanted a DJ that would really entertain our guests. Isaac was the perfect DJ for us. He played songs from our list, took requests from the guests, and interacted with them all night. If you’re looking for a night filled with dancing look no further!

Where do i begin.... Allegro is the best choice in DJ and lighting services. they have such an attentive staff and are willing to do what ever you need and do it with a smile. I changed our agenda multiple times, had some very intersting requests and Michala just smiled and said, "we got it!" They sent us a DJ that totally matched our wedding personality. They knew exactly what we needed. DJ Eric was so great. Guests loved him and he knew exactly how to keep the party going. he worked well with our photographers so they did not miss a special moment. we used their uplights and GOBO for our reception. This totally made the reception space. If you are thinking about uplighting do it!!!!! the GOBO was a cool addition and again definitely worth the extra money. They made a special trip to the recpetion space to test the uplights on the venue walls and get extact locations so that the colors and arrangements were perfect. They are an amazing team! I can't say enough great things.

The DJ was very friendly and helped us through the entire night. We had an excellent time and I would recommend this vendor.

Very professional and helpful throughout the wedding. We did request a few songs however that did not get played. Overall very satisfied.

I was impressed with the quality and value of the DJ and karaoke services that I received from Allegro. The professionalism was exceptional. They showed up dressed nice, and not cheesy, yet still were recognizable as hosting service.

I feel like they really listened and gave great advice. Dori was more of an event planner and voice of experience than just an entertainment vendor.

It was great that they could be so flexible with the schedule, and responses to my emails or phone calls never fell through the cracks.

The only reason I didn't give them a perfect score was because there were two minor issues that I don't recall being forwarned about. It didn't change the fact that Allegro helped me have the perfect wedding reception, no one noticed except me.

Other than that I would hire Allegro again, and I have already recommended Allegro to a few other brides.

Allegro was fantastic! Dori met with me at every step of the way and ensured that the music would be what me and my husband wanted. They were incredibly professional. I have been to some weddings where the DJs are very self-promoting and use the mic as their own personal platform - Allegro did none of that nonsense and kept the focus on the party which was great. I highly recommend their services - plus they are incredibly priced for the service that they provide.

Very organized, but almost to a fault. I loved that they have a whole packet to fill out to give them the information needed and make sure that nothing is missed. But was it really necessary for us to drive almost an hour (one-way) for you to spend less than 15 minutes reading us the packet we filled out and emailed back as requested? We weren't even there to meet the DJ or anything, so it seemed like a lot of wasted time/gas money. So I'm not really sure there is much value-add to the "required face to face meeting". However, the actual DJ was very nice and kept close contact with my husband and I throughout the evening.

Loved the dj very personable and made the night fun. Took all requests into consideration and everything went smoothly. We got the purple up lighting and it made the whole room pop. Loved everything they provided.

The music and the atmosphere that Dori was able to provide for our wedding helped make it a magical and beautiful event. Before the evening of our wedding Dori made an accurate and helpful list of requirements to help fulfill our evening.

Very personable!

Everyone at Allegro in the planning process was very helpful. The dj Eric that they chose for us was great. He was more than happy to make minor changes during my wedding and was super nice about everything.

Our wedding was in Columbia, but all of the local vendors seemed to charge more, so we outsourced most of our vendors from St Louis or Kansas City. We decided to go with Allegro for DJ services because, frankly, they were the most affordable and with the best reviews. They're very much a streamlined business - you talk with the head lady, she gets your details, and then assigns you to a DJ two weeks before your wedding. You have one call with your DJ 2 days before your wedding to go over the timeline and any issues you may have. Our DJ was a nice guy and was really into the kind of music we wanted played (oldies). The only real issue was a lack of communication between him and our photographer for a couple of important moments - and I'm not sure who to blame for it, honestly - but the photographer was unaware of our entrance and our exit as they were being announced at both the beginning and end of the night. The DJ apologized and they went back and "staged" entrance photos of our bridal party, but it was a little sad that we missed out on those - and we didn't bother staging our exit photo again. We also asked if it was possible that he play an engagement video of us on the reception venue's overhead projector before he announced our entrance, but apparently Allegro doesn't permit any of their DJs to play any videos from their computers - either on DVD or hyperlinked in an internet browser.... so we missed out on doing that, too. Overall, the DJ did a good job, though, and I'd recommend him if you're in the market for DJ services. He played the exact type of music we wanted, and a lot of folks complimented us on his personality and how fun he was doing announcements and making jokes throughout the night. Allegro was an affordable option that did a good job for our wedding, and we were happy at the end of the night with the services they provided to us. I recommend them if you're in the market for an affordable DJ in mid-MO.

I'd like to personally respond to your concerns as I agree that there must have been some miscommunication somewhere along the lines. #1.) As you know, we take our planning very seriously so that all details are discussed and typed into an official wedding agenda to be executed by your DJ. (SIDE NOTE: We pair up our DJ's to our clients based on personality and music selection. I'm happy to hear that you liked DJ Eric! I knew he'd be a good fit based on what you were looking for in a DJ.) When your wedding party arrived to the venue, DJ Eric was there to line up the wedding party, and give you the heads up that he was going to make the introductions and play the music you selected. I'm unclear how your photographers would have missed seeing this preparation for entrances, but I am very sad to hear they missed the photos. #2.) Videos - Allegro Entertainment does not offer any packages that include audio/visual services for videos of any kind. We are an agency that offers Bands, DJ's, Event Lighting, and Planning. - I was never informed that you were interested in playing a slide show during your wedding. This was never brought up at the time of booking services, nor during your planning process. I would have gladly referred you to an audio/visual company to make this happen for you. When you booked Allegro Entertainment, you contracted us to provide DJ Services = (Pro Audio Equipment, LED Dance Floor Lights, Illuminating Booth, Custom Playlists, Wireless Mic, DJ/MC for Mixing Music & Announcements, Pre-Event Planning, Wedding Agenda.) On your wedding day, we provided everything we promised we would, and I'm happy to hear you would be willing to refer us to other couples. Dory was great to deal with, she was very professional, organized, and on top of things. However, somewhere in the midst of everything SO many things went wrong. Here are some things that went wrong: our DJ was not at the right reception hall by the time I was walking down the isle, we gave a whole list of songs to play during dinner and not one of them were played, our revised list that we were told had been changed/updated and not to worry was not at the reception (the old list of songs was used instead), the father/daughter and mother/son dance song that we picked up was not heard of what so ever, so we had to tell him to play something immediately after, and the transitions and explanations of the DJ when using the microphone were AWFUL and everyone was confused whenever he said anything. It was not a good experience and stinks that I had to deal with it during our reception. We got a DJ to "run the show" and that is definitely not what we received.

Our DJ's are trained to check in with the bride and groom, as well as their parents, to ensure no one misses a memorable moment during the wedding celebrations. Every client is entitled to their own opinion, and has the right to let their voice be heard. We cannot dispute your opinion, however, after reviewing all details with each party listed above during our phone conference, I can honestly state there is a clear disagreement of whether the first dance song was verbally revealed to you by our DJ, or if it was visually read off of our paperwork while reviewing early evening details with the wedding party prior to the grand entrance. As your DJ service provider, Allegro executed the agenda according to plan; playing every specified song request, making each listed announcement, and following through with all details indicated within the contract.
