Amazing and affordable!
Alicia was so great to work with! I had several visits with her for my wedding dress and every time she was just such a pleasure to be around! She takes the time to really find the perfect look/fit for your dress! I appreciate her honesty! She raised the hem on my dress, took it in (and out!), did a hem and a bustle! All for such a great price! My mom, grandmother and maid of honor all went to her as well and were happy with their dresses! I’m so glad I went to her! -

Alicia is an absolute gem to work with. My dress fits me like a glove and Alicia was so professional and helpful, she is also very friendly and down to earth. I most definitely would recommend her to anyone that needs bridal or formal alterations! -

Alicia was an absolute treat to work with! From the initial stages of planning to the finishing touches, she took my Goodwill gown with it's '90s poof sleeves and ugly butt bow and turned it into a custom masterpiece, complete with lace 3/4 sleeves, satin buttons, a bustle, and sashes! The sashes were an added touch near the end, and she made them absolutely complimentary (without charging!) One was white with lace accents for the ceremony, the other a marigold color to compliment my fall wedding colors! After I moved from Flint to Grand Rapids, she was so accommodating with fitting me in whenever I could be there (I work full-time nights, so it can be a nightmare to fit me in sometimes). Oh, did I mention the sleeves were made from the lace she HAND CUT out of the bow and old sleeves and HAND SEWED onto the new ones? Also, she steams and presses the dress, gives you the option to store it with her until your big day, lets you rent the crinolin with a portion of the money returned if it is brought back in a timely manner, AND the price is so reasonable, I about fainted when I got the quote, originally thinking it would be 2-3x that cost! I'm so happy and cannot wait to wear my once in a lifetime gown in 11 days! Thanks, Alicia! -

I give Alicia a 5/5 because honestly everything was perfect! The first appointment was amazing. Alicia was so nice, genuine, and did everything she could to make sure my dress fit perfectly and was comfortable. Don't feel bad about speaking up about something because if you do she will do whatever she can to fix it as well as make it more comfortable. The second appointment was just as good and my dress fit perfectly. Thank you so much! -

Alicia's work speaks for itself!! She is a phenomenal alterationist! She is very personable and makes your fittings and appointments very fun. I went to see Alicia with an idea in my head of what I had for my dream wedding dress, not knowing if the dress I had could be changed or if I was explaining it correctly. Alicia went above and beyond any expectation I had. She was honest, kind and is amazingly talented at what she does! She made my mom and I feel at home and treated us as she would a family member! Alicia was fantastic! I had purchased a dress that I had no idea didn't come buslted until 4 weeks before my wedding. My husband's cousin had recommended Alicia to me, so I called her hoping she could see me in time. Alicia booked me the following week and was super affordable! I've been going to Alicia for a couple years. She has always helped me with any alteration need - whether it is a bridesmaid dress, just regular dresses for special events, or an alteration emergency. I can never say enough good things about Alicia and her business. Alicia is always friendly, welcoming, and never forgets who you are or what's going on in your life so it was a no brainer who was going to alter my wedding dress. I ordered my wedding dress from a pre-owned wedding dress website and the dress was 2 sizes too big. Alicia worked her magic and my dress never looked like it had been touched. It looked like it came right out of the store. The sequin and buttons were all in it's place and my dress fit wonderfully. She does amazing work! I am always satisfied when I leave with the altered product, you will not be disappointed. I highly recommend Alicia. -

I could not be happier with the way that my wedding dress turned out, and I always felt that I was in good hands with Alicia. When the dress needed slightly more work than originally anticipated, she worked overtime to make sure everything was perfect in plenty of time for the wedding. Alicia was so AMAZING! I had other plans set up for alterations, and they fell through last minute. I contacted multiple local alteration businesses and Alicia was the first to quickly respond. I love that you can call or text, as my work hours vary and sometimes its easier to shoot a quick text. As soon as I met her I knew it was a perfect fit. She is so fun and happy and amazing and she really knows what shes doing! My bridesmaids all loved her as well. She added beading for my bridesmaids ans they were floored and how great it turned out, and she is very affordable! 4 weeks before my wedding, I lost my sister, and I contacted Alicia about adding something to my dress in honor of my sister. Alicia said no problem, I went in and she was so kind and understanding when I broke down in tears. The day we picked up our dresses was magical. It was perfect and it was an experience, not just come on in pick it up and leave. She truly loves her craft and you can tell how much heart and soul she puts into it. She made me feel like I was her only bride. I would recommend her to anyone, and I plan on using her if I ever need alterations again. -

Alicia was fantastic. My dress was expensive ($3000) and I didn't trust anyone to touch it. It is completely beaded and weighs about 30 lbs. Alicia gave me a custom bustle and took the lace off my Mom's 1971 gown and made me a custom veil. My dress is perfect and I only had to meet with Alicia 2x for her to work her magic. She also tweaked my bachelorette party outfit. Take everything you need altered to her. You won't be disappointed. -

Alicia altered both my Wedding and after party dress, there was a lot of work involved in both dress and Alica handled them with such ease it was extremely reassuring. Alicia also altered my moms and sisters dress for my wedding, she had a quick turn around time and did a wonderful job! I love Alicia and her work so much that I gladly drive from Clarkston to Clio (45 minutes) and will continue to do so every time I need anything altered. I HIGHLY recomend her! -

I cannot say enough good things about Alicia! I wasn't sure where to get my dress altered so I did a search online and I came across Alicia and I had a gut feeling, boy was I right! She is so welcoming and easy to work with. She asked what I wanted and pretty much gave her free reign and she let the dress "speak to her". My hem (of 12 layers) was perfect and my bustle was even better! I've since went back to have another dress altered and would recommend Alicia to everyone! -

I took my wedding dress to Alicia and I am more than impressed with her! I did not know where to take my dress to get alterations, but I took a chance with Alicia based on her reviews. Boy am I happy I went with her!! She is nothing less than amazing! I was completely in love with my dress, and she made me fall in love with it all over again when she was done. She created a bustle, (and decided to add another loop on the spot at the final fitting because she didn't like what it looked like! :) ) and had to take in my dress a whole size. I bought my dress a size up knowing that I would not try to lose weight and watch what I ate. Turns out, I stayed the same size.... oops! The beading on my dress was pretty intense and she had to hand sew each bead back on the dress at the seam line. THANK YOU ALICIA!!! I told my bridesmaids to go to her, and I know some that are in town did. I only wish I knew about her sooner so I could have gone to her for other dress alterations! I will definitely be back in the future for other alterations!! :)

Alicia is an amazing woman, who has an unappreciated talent! She is exceptional at what she does! I highly recommend her!! She exceeded my expectations. I loved my dress when I went to her, but I am even more in love with it now after she is done with it. Alicia created a custom bustle on my dress, which is absolutely breathtaking. She took in 2 inches on each side of my dress and by doing that she had to completely take my dress apart and hand sew all the lace detail back on! Alicia also did all of my bridal party's dresses along with my moms dress and my mother in laws dress. She got all of our dresses done in 3 weeks! ABSOLUTELY PERFECT! I am beyond happy with her work, not to mention how welcome she made all of us girls feel in her home! Thank you so so much Alicia!

Alicia!! She was one of my favorite people to work with throughout the wedding planning process - if not the favorite!! She was so helpful and honest about what needed to be done. Her prices were definitely fair and she was willing to work with my crazy schedule. She is super easy to talk to and get along with and that makes the experience so much more enjoyable. Due to one too many dinners out, my dress had to be altered a little bit more the week of the wedding - she was able to do that for me on such a time crunch and I couldn't be more appreciative!! On my wedding day, my dress was perfect - it looked great, fit great, and the bustle was easy and looked wonderful. She is an expert at what she does and knows what looks perfect! I definitely recommend Alicia!!! -

Alicia spent time making sure the changes being made to my dress were exactly what I wanted. She noticed details about my dress that I had never seen and you can tell she really knows what she is doing. I bought my dress off the rack and she noticed during alterations that the bottom was a bit dingy and washed it so that it would be fresh for my big day! I would recommend her again and again to friends and family! -

I don't even know where to begin with how awesome Alecia is. She was probably one of my favorite parts of wedding planning. She was funny and so incrediably creative. I drove over an hour to have her do the alterations on my dress. I do not like traditional bustles and she designed a bustle so different and beautiful. I would recommend her 110% -

Alicia was amazing! From the second I walked in her door I instantly felt at ease. She has an exuberant personality that keeps you laughing while also assuring you that she knows exactly what she is doing. She did a custom bustle on my gown that is to die for and gave me tons of tips to help me look the best possible in my dress. You can tell that she is truly an expert and I am so glad I chose her to help me look my best on the biggest day of my life. I would absolutely recommend her to any bride! She will take care of you and your dress and do it for a very reasonable price. So very glad I chose Alicia, and you will be too! -

If you need a dress altered, use Alicia. She is easy to communicate with(text, email, and phone) , she is very reasonably priced, she is funny and made me feel comfortable. But most of all she is good at what she does and she does it with passion. She took in my wedding dress, put lace on my veil, and gave me a gorgeous and unique bustle (all for under $200)! She also fixed the neckline on my mother's dress. She is just so great. I will gladly take all my future alterations to her. -

Alicia is an absolutely fantastic seamstress. She altered my wedding dress to perfection! She is so friendly and very professional! My sister got her bridesmaid dress as well as 2 other bridesmaids dresses altered by Alicia and has loved them all. My mother and grandmother got their dresses altered as well and they were amazing. My father needed his shirt altered only 1 week before the wedding and Alicia got it done with no questions asked! She is absolutely wonderful to work with! I will travel home from my new life in Alabama for all of my alteration needs because she is that good! Thank you for everything! AMAZING to work with. I can't say enough about how great she was in helping my dress not only fit perfect but also with the finishing touches. I had a sash that we changed and she sown right on my dress in a different location. It turned out great!! She even embellished the sash to flow great with the cut. I loved it and would recommend her to everyone I see. My daughter is 14 and I know who I'll be using over the next few years. -

We had a wonderful experience working with Alicia! My first appointment, I was very late, and she was still so friendly and accomodating-she still let me come and did my initial fitting. She's so knowledgable and to the point, mixed with a great sense of humor, it made me feel more relaxed. You can tell she's had many years experience, she was able to give me lots of tips/suggestions-as a bride, that helped alot and I knew I was in good hands. She custom made sleeves for my wedding dress that ended up perfectly matching the original beading-they looked like they had come with the dress. She also did last minute zipper repair for one of my bridesmaids' dresses. The price was very reasonable and well worth it. I would suggest ANY bride see Alicia for their alterations-she not only makes it stress free, but fun as well! Thank you Alicia!! -
