    Our Wedding Day was a DREAM!

    Maricela Alicia was heaven sent, a true gem! BEST decision !
    Despite planning during COVID-19 we she made the planning process less stressful.
    Maricela helped us plan our DREAM WEDDING that took place June 5, 2021. From the minute I had a phone consultation with Maricela, I instantly knew I somehow had to convince my Fiancé (now husband) that we had to hire a wedding planner lol! I asked Maricela if we could meet prior to hiring her and she without hesitation agreed to a time and place. Once my husband met Maricela he knew we had to hire a true professional! Maricela truly listens to her clients wants and needs, she listened and executed our vision... our wedding was a complete dream! Maricela is extremely professional, responsive, and always has a great attitude. During such an uncertain time, Maricela always had a positive and optimistic attitude. She kept us grounded and always checked in to see how we were doing. She held our hand through the whole process, referred vendors ( who we were extremely happy with ) and best of all negotiated with our vendors on our behalf to keep us in budget! Our wedding day was perfect and ran seamlessly. We felt as we were guest at our own wedding! The wedding day was extremely stress free, all our family and guests kept raving about how beautiful and how smooth the day went. We know our day was perfect because of Maricela. We 1000000% recommend Maricela to anyone that is considering hiring her. We miss our daily check-ins , but can't wait to continue to work with her in our future events!

    A MUST-HAVE to guarantee a PERFECT Wedding!

    Dear future wedding couples currently reading my review...

    If you're looking for a wedding coordinator who will SINCERELY care about your wedding, go above and beyond for you both, listen to you, has A+ communication every time, has vendors who you may still have trouble finding, and as the special cherry on top, is bilingual in both English AND Spanish... then please do yourselves a favor and RUN, don't walk, to Maricela!

    Maricela has been a part of our wedding journey since 2019 and right from the start she is so incredibly easy to talk to, as well as kept constant communication about where we were on our wedding planning. Although our original wedding date was October 2020, Maricela was super understanding and accommodating when we decided to postpone and move our date to October 2021 due to the pandemic. She even sent us a bottle of wine to cheer us up after making the incredibly difficult decision to postpone. She's THE BEST and to this day it's such a memorable act on her part that she deserves all the love and recognition for going above and beyond when we only hired her as our month-of coordinator.

    Maricela, alongside her amazing assistant Claudia, made our wedding dreams come TRUE at the Vibiana in Downtown Los Angeles! When we say that the day was absolutely PERFECTION because of them, we're not exaggerating because they set up a very smooth timeline for our wedding. Throughout the entire day, both my husband and I were completely stress-free and simply followed their directions as to where we needed to be and what time. Everything sincerely felt sooo smooth and we did not hear of any problems at any point throughout the day!

    We also DID NOT have to worry at all about vendor logistics or anything to do with setup/tear down. Even when I started to worry about certain things, Maricela and Claudia immediately reassured me, kept the line of communication clear, and even helped solve a wardrobe malfunction for the Reception. There are simply not enough words to describe how grateful and fortunate we are to have chosen Maricela as our wedding coordinator.

    Maricela and Claudia, if you're reading this, we just want to say THANK YOU! We hope to have more future events just to be able to work with you both again and also plan to recommend you to our family and friends as well. Keep up the AMAZING work!!!

    Best Planner !!

    I've worked with Maricela [Alicia C. Creative] in several occasions and she's the best planner you could ever ask to have for your wedding or any event. Her attention to detail is fantastic and her kind personality makes things even better. She's full of life, a visionary, a listener and a friend. She'll make sure to execute your wedding and/or event to surpass any of your expectations. Maricela is a professional with years of knowledge and experience. Look no more and hire her! I promise you won't be disappointed.

    Excellent customer service and professionalism

    If you want responsiveness from your wedding planner, Alicia is your best bet! I was introduced to her by my wedding venue as she was one of the preferred vendors. When I contacted her, she emailed me within 24 hours with a response. She even was helping me out as I was trying to figure out my catering situation. Mind you, this was done even when I haven't hired her yet as my wedding planner. She was very informative and helpful in guiding me thoroughly. After awhile, I realized I was in over my head with wedding planning because I thought usually I am a planner and I know when and where things to be done. I hired Alicia knowing fully that I would be in great hands of handling our wedding. We met up 4 times throughout the 1.5 year process of planning and multiple emails back and forth. Fast forward, the wedding day is here!!! Let me just say her timeline was amazing and everything and all our vendors were on time. Also, I got so many compliments from our vendors and guests about how organized our wedding was and how things ran so smoothly. She is an amazing person and she is very sweet and nice. She is very easy to talk with and in the end of our wedding process we became friends. I highly recommend her if you are looking for a wedding planner who is efficient, sweet, organized, responsive, and foremost affordable.

    She has many vendors she works with so if you need help with some vendors she is the person to ask. She helped me find my photographer, officiant, florist, and clean up crew for our venue. I would have to say my hardest vendor was the photographer because that is what lasts from a wedding and I will tell you I had the best photographer ever!

    Alicia is someone that you will not regret hiring and she will do everything that she can to help your wedding planning go smoother and the day of the wedding you do not have to worry about anything but you as the couple. I didn't have to worry about anything the day of the wedding. My husband was so pleased with her because he had many doubts in hiring a wedding planner because he says I am a planner. I do plan parties and showers for my friends so ideally speaking he was like you can do our wedding. Little did he know how much detail goes into a wedding and there were many details that I would have not known by myself. He is so happy we hired Alicia and more so he was so happy because he knew I enjoyed the day of our wedding because I didn't have to worry about a thing because he knows I'm a worry wort too! As husband and wife, we are so happy to have had Alicia part of our happily ever after!

    The Very Best!

    At our very first phone conversation, I knew that Maricela was the one! Not only was she so kind and personable, she took the time to listen to my vision (following my vision board) and in the end it was exactly that! In addition to her years of wedding planning experience, she has a well rounded and remarkable past experiences in hotel hospitality, a major in design, theater and lighting, and a career in education.
    Maricela was always available to me via email or text and was such a delight to meet with at our planned meetings, for cake tasting, floral, and design etc.
    She created and helped my husband and I stick to a budget, always making recommendations with our vision and budget in mind. She helped personalize our wedding in every aspect of décor and design and with her wonderful relationship with other vendors helped us find the perfect officiant, ceremony musician, DJ, florist, rental company, hair and makeup and videographer.
    Finally, Maricela shined on the day of the wedding, coordinating everything, allowing me as the bride to relax and enjoy a worry and stress free day, which is how it is supposed to be! Throughout the entire wedding planning process, Maricela was so patient and so kind. I would recommend her to any couple planning a wedding or any event in general. She is one of the best in my opinion!

    Best decision I made!

    Hiring Maricela was the best decision I made during the wedding planning process! She was extremely responsive, easy to work with, and has so much knowledge/ expertise to share. On the day of the wedding, I did not have to worry about a single thing! We were free to enjoy our day and spend time with family and friends because Maricela had handled every single detail. She's the best!

    Mar is amazing!

    We loved working with Mari for our wedding, she was our day of coordinator. She came to our rehearsal the evening before and helped with that and then helped ran our entire wedding day. She is the sweetest human and is amazing at what she does. I could not recommend her more. She was always available to chat with me about anything I needed. She coordinated my vendors and made our timeline so we knew everything would run smoothly. She also set up and broke down our reception decorations. She truly is the best and cares so deeply about her couples.

    Since the start of the planning Maricela was very helpful. When ever i would text her having questions she would answer quickly and was very helpful. Finally the day of the wedding everything looked amazing! I don't think I ever step foot near the bar or the the food area, Maricela and her staff where on it and would bring it to me. Thanks to Alicias creative and staff for helping me with such a special day.

    From the moment I emailed Maricela a few months before my wedding, she and Diana were professional and so friendly. I had contacted other wedding planners who seemed like they would further stress me out, and after communicating through email I could tell that she and Diana would be an awesome team. Maricela was booked for my wedding date when I initially contacted her, but was still very helpful as I asked questions to both her and Diana. Diana was present for my reception and wedding day. Diana is awesome, and was loved by myself, my mom, and the rest of my family. She is so sweet and genuine and is a wonderful person to help manage your wedding day. I would recommend Alicia C Creative to any bride!

    We hired Maricela to help us coordinate and organize our 25th Anniversary Celebration. Working with her was a delight! We had a terrific experience. Maricela has great taste, is savvy, super response and able to anticipate potential problems before they appeared! Additionally, when we had any last minute changes or emergencies she was able to resolve them without any complication or delay.

    Oh Maricela, where do I start? In our first meeting it was as if I had known Maricela and we were good friends. After a few rounds of interviews with potential planners, we decided on Maricela for her "can do" attitude and willingness to accommodate all of our needs, which were complicated based on our venue selection. Through the entire planning process she was professional, accommodating, planning ahead, communicative and getting it done! When it came time to pull through, she took management of our timeline, photography team, valet, rentals, florist order, (Earthbaby Flowers), makeup artists (Wendy who is lovely and made me beautiful), cake delivery, lighting, tent rental, and managed with deliveries as well our catering and venue selection (which was a huge challenge). To give you a few examples of her brilliance, on the day of our wedding, I forgot to give her our flower girl basket and she literally put a bouquet of flowers together right before the processional started. During our dinner, our servers managed to forget to offer our guests wine. Maricela and her team literally brought bottles of wine to every table, uncorked too. Her and her team set up the venue beautifully, which was on a private residence. There are a number of things I can list here but Maricela literally made me feel that it was all manageable and that made a huge difference for us. Not everything on your wedding day goes perfect but I swear Maricela literally takes these imperfections and manages them like a magic trick out of a hat! She is resourceful, has great people skills, super friendly and funny, and deserves a lot of recognition as a planner. If you are looking for planner based on your budget, she can make anything happen and it will come out gorgeous! I'm really glad we hired Maricela as she became invaluable to us. We are keeping her around as our friend and for our future events too!

    Where do I begin! My venue Calamigos Ranch required a wedding coordinator for our wedding. I was referred to Maricela. The moment my now husband I had spoke with her, we had an instant connection and we wanted her to do our wedding. I had a lot of questions and Maricela responded very quickly. She was always very professional and I cannot say enough at how amazing our wedding was because of her. She really did an amazing job. I would hands down recommend her. Since our wedding, we’ve had numerous people compliment her on her services. She really went above and beyond!!!! So happy that we picked her to do our wedding!! You will not be disappointed. If I could give her more stars I would!!

    Best wedding coordinator ever!

    We cannot say enough amazing things about Alicia C Creative (Maricela). We spent a ton of time looking for wedding coordinators and interviewed several prior to deciding on Maricela. We were first introduced to Maricela from a friend and when we first spoke with Maricela, we immediately knew we were in good hands.

    Maricela was absolutely fabulous not only the day of the wedding, but also all during the wedding planning process. She was always so helpful to answer any questions we had in the months leading up to the wedding.

    Our friends are getting married and the first thing we said was “You MUST hire Maricela for you wedding coordinator!” She became a great friend throughout the wedding planning process and totally respected and came through on exactly what we were looking for. We will continue to refer Maricela to anybody that gets married. Such a great coordinator!

    I don't think words can express how AMAZING Maricela and her team were! From the moment my Husband and I met Maricela at a Bridal show we instantly knew we wanted her to help plan our wedding. She is so seasoned in weddings and all that goes along with it. She gave us the best advice and suggestions for vendors without ever being too pushy. Her and her assistant Diana made the planning process so easy and delightful! My husband and I miss them so much! I know it sounds weird, but our wedding meant so much to us and because they both had such a big hand in planning it they definitely became like family!

    When it comes to wedding planning Maricela is truly the best. Not only is she responsive, professional, and supportive; she has vast knowledge of the business and impeccable taste. We planned our wedding with Maricela over a year, she was even there to help me choose the most perfect wedding dress. Every time we felt lost in the planning process Maricela would immediately step in, with her golden ideas and endless creativity and saved the day. She made the planning painless and produced amazing results. She created exactly what my now husband and I were dreaming our wedding day would be. All of the vendors she recommended were excellent and created amazing work themselves. Maricela was good at negotiating with the venue and the vendors and knew exactly how flexible they would be with us. Overall I would highly recommend working with Maricela and letting her create the most perfect day for your wedding day.

    Alicia was AMAZING!! The whole process of planning a wedding is daunting and she made it seem so easy. Her energy, kind heart and excitement for weddings placed our minds at ease that we were in good hands. I always felt like I was her only client. She was incredibly patient and composed, even at times, when bridezilla was in full effect. She promptly communicated with us whenever we had any questions or concerns. She directed me towards amazing vendors and venues and more importantly, consistently reminded us of our budget.

    Her creative mind blew me away! During the wedding, we received many compliments from guests on what a great job both her and her team had done, the wedding flowed so well together. Thank you for making our wedding day even more wonderful then I could've ever dreamed.

    My wife and I got married in October 2017 at the Odyssey Restaurant. We initially didn't think we needed any sort of planner, day of or otherwise, but Maricela showed us how wrong we were! From her initial advice to her execution of the timeline on the day of, Maricela made our wedding turn out 20 times better than we imagined. We did not have to worry about anything, because by the time we even remembered something, Maricela had already taken care of it. Maricela also went above and beyond what we expected by coming to our rehearsal dinner (which was far from the actual venue) and being available to answer any of our questions for weeks leading up to the event. We can't imagine how our wedding would have turned out without her help, and we would recommend her to anybody. Maricela is truly amazing!

    If you are looking for professionalism, flexibility, reliability, and quality service hire Alicia C. Creative! I hired Maricela after hearing numerous people speak highly of her work and after meeting her at a Wedding Expo at The Odyssey Restaurant in Oct. 2016. I loved her positive and welcoming energy which is needed during the chaos of wedding planning. My Husband and I hired her for the day of and for my bridal party. For my amazing bridal party, I gave her my budget and theme and she sent me a design and mood board which I quickly approved. She then took care of everything! She kept me informed during the process and all I did was put together my guest list and sent it to her. My "Roaring 20s Bridal Shower" was sexy and fun... check-out Maricela's Instagram for photos of my bridal shower! She and her assistant were on time, did all the decor, and paid close attention to details! The day of our wedding, she and her assistant took care of the vendors arriving on time, any guests questions, decor stuff like placing the place cards on each table, printing our seating chart, our memory table set-up, gift table ready, ceremony stuff, etc... I can go on and on. I have a full-time job M-F and started my business in February and my husband also has a full-time job so having a reliable, flexible, and eye-to-detail person was much needed. Maricela and her team exceeded our expectations! My husband and I enjoyed our wonderful day because of Maricela's help! Everything ran smoothly and looked beautiful!

    Maricela is AMAZING! What a gift to have found her to coordinate our wedding! My husband and I got married on August 5, 2017 at the 1909 in Topanga, and our wedding was PERFECT in every way! Who gets to say that?! There's no doubt we couldn't have pulled that off without Maricela. She's an absolutely diamond! Why? Where do I start?! First of all, the timeliness of her responses will blow your mind. She gets back to you in just about no time at all! I once emailed her at 10pm on a Friday night and had a response by 10:05pm. When planning a wedding, it's easy to let all the little questions and concerns cloud your sanity and with her level of responsiveness, you get to just tick the worries off your list and move on! Second, her demeanor and professionalism makes her a joy to work with. She's got a great attitude and a beaming positivity about her. It was truly like working with a friend who was so excited to be a part of your special day. She was a joy to chat with on the phone, great at calming me down whenever I had a panicked moment, and patient! OMG, she's so patient! I'm a ball of nerves and heavily indecisive, and she was so patient with me. Third, she's a professional. She knows what she's doing, she's honest, and she doesn't push her own agenda. She really listens to what you want/need/are concerned about executes accordingly. . . all while having great advice (if you want it) along the way! Fourth, she's a crazy amazing price. We got the day-of coordinating package and I still don't know how we pulled that off because she helped answer questions for me for MONTHS before the wedding. She's super generous with her time!

    Seriously, Maricela was amazing on every level! You won't regret booking with her!

    I reached out to Maricela after doing a little bit of sleuthing on Instagram to see who had previously coordinated a wedding at LA River Center and Gardens. She was quick to respond and gave us a great deal. Although we only purchased the day-of coordination package, she was instrumental in helping us secure vendors along the way and was always responsive. Last minute, we had our DJ cancel and she found someone for us within 24 hours who exceeded our expectations. We don't know how we would have pulled this off without her. Choose Alicia Creative!

    Pete and I want to thank you from the bottom of our hearts. It was truly the most perfect, magical day of our lives, and we know that you played a huge part in making sure it was everything we hoped it would be. We knew we were in good hands, but your ability to stay on top of everything while remaining completely calm (at least on the outside!) is an absolute skill. We so appreciate all of your hard work.
