Absolutely The Best

Mike is the absolute best. He works directly with you to make your experience exactly what you want it to be. He had some great ideas to add which made it even more personal for all our guest. He is very professional and keeps in touch with you throughout the planning stage. Everyone raved at how great he was. If you want your guests to have a memorable experience, the DJ should be at the top of the list. I would highly recommend!

Couldn’t have asked for a better DJ!

Mike from Alexxus Entertainment did an amazing job and was one of our favorite parts of our wedding day. Mike was excellent at communicating and made sure to ask what was most important to us on our big day. He also had unique ideas that helped make our reception even more fun (for example a fun new way to do a bouquet toss). The dance floor was full all night, and our guests had a blast! My wife and I would highly recommend for your next big occasion. Thank you Mike!

They were fantastic to work with! Very organized and communicative. They went out of their way to make sure they were doing everything on their end to make the day as special for us as possible. They played all the music we hoped for and everyone had a really good time!

Absolutely fantastic and very helpful with planning our music selections!

Mike was absolutely fantastic! We hired Alexxus Entertainment for our reception and he was very professional. He knew when to play which songs to keep everyone on the dance floor. Mike will work with you to help plan every step of the music selection process from instrumental music during dinner, the Bridal party entrance, any special dances, and so much more! The online planning system made it so easy to pick which songs you really wanted played and, better yet, which ones you definitely did not want to be played. It was also a huge convenience to pay all of our bills through the online planning website. Another bonus is that Alexxus Entertainment knows that couples are busy getting ready for the big day, so the reminder emails every so often were a big help for making sure things didn't get missed. Thank you Mike with Alexxus Entertainment for making our wedding day so special and easy to plan!

Our wedding reception was amazing!

Mike was an absolute pleasure to work with! He made sure to cater to us to make our big day everything we wanted and more! From the ceremony, to cocktail hour, to the reception, Mike kept the day flowing and the music going. From the first song to the last, we constantly had people out on the dance floor partying with us! Highly recommend using Alexxus Entertainment for your big day or any event!

Fantastic Reception

Mike is a fantastic person to work with and made our reception a dream come true after we postponed our larger celebrations a year due to Covid. When you think of a DJ, you think of the music, but Mike does so much more than that. He helps with the flow of your reception, keeps everyone on the dance floor and is up for doing something memorable. We are Chicago fans, so our bridal party was announced to the Bulls intro, and we rewrote the Super Bowl shuffle as a surprise after our first dance. Mike helped us pull all of this off and it all made for a great night!

I can't recommend them enough!!

Mike and Steve were phenomenal in every way. We weren't planning on having a DJ at our wedding reception, but decided to add them last minute. They took the time to get to know us, talk about our hopes for the evening and walked us through the basics. I cannot recommend their services enough as they truly helped us have a relaxed, fun, reception that created small, special moments we'll hold onto forever!!

More than exceeded expectations

My husband and I got married in September and we were beyond grateful for Mike and DJ Bob. Both were phenomenal to work with and made everything so easy and stress free for us! Mike was always excellent with communication and a joy to speak with. DJ Bob more than exceeded our expectations in the way he kept our reception flowing and managed to keep the dance floor completely full all night! We have had so many guests tell us the that was the most fun they’d had that much fun on a dance floor and that is a memory we will cherish forever. Thank you Mike and Bob for making our special day that much more special! If you’re looking for a DJ for your wedding, I 11/10 recommend using Alexxus, you will not regret it!

Great DJ, Exceptional Service

We are so glad we went with Alexxus Entertainment for our Wedding DJ.
Mike was a true professional from the moment we met him. He offered a fair price, knew our venue well, and listened carefully to understand what we were looking for in our wedding DJ.
Mike knew how to read the room and created an event that was fun and fit the tastes of us and our guests.

Wedding Reception

Steve and Mike both make your day go off without a problem. Steve stuck by us all week with great communication and made sure entertainment was the least of our worries. We didn't miss a thing at our wedding because he kept us informed and organized the whole time!

Covid cancelled our wedding

Working with this venue was Amazing during this difficult time. Covid cancelled our wedding as it was in May and everything was still shut down. This was one of the few vendors we used who worked with us and understood that Cancelling our wedding was not only the last thing we wanted to do, but also out of our control. The date we picked was special to us so we got married with less than 10 people in our backyard and I’m just so grateful to this company for their understanding and consideration.

Kept the party going

These guys came in, set all their stuff up and provided amazing sound for the wedding. Come reception time these guys got the party going and kept it going! We had 30 people on the dance floor almost the whole time. We’re still getting compliments on our wedding and people telling us about the amazing time they had.

We could not have been happier with Alexxus Entertainment! A great DJ was at the top of our priority list when wedding planning and we found the best with Mike from Alexxus. Hands down our favorite vendor

Our wedding day was 9-14 and I just wanted to take a moment to thank our wedding DJ..

We hired Alexxus Entertainment to be a part of our day and from the beginning Michael “mike” was absolutely outstanding. The first meeting he had me in tears from all the awesome ideas that would make our day even more special to us. As soon as we got in the car we knew we wanted to book with his company but also wanted mike to be part of our day.
Mike has a passion for what he does and it completely showed when he was at our wedding. His goal was not only to get and keep the dance floor packed but also to help us create memories through the music we played that night.. we sure do have some good ones!
Being a bride was/is super stressful and picking your vendors is one of the toughest things. Mike was hands down one of my favorite vendors I got to work with. My husband and I can’t thank him enough for everything he did ! If you guys are looking for a DJ make sure to give him a call!

April Wedding

We used Alexxus for both ceremony music and reception. They were very professional and easy to work with. The ceremony music was perfect and they helped to keep the reception flowing g between speeches and everything else. Amazing to work with

This company was incredibly easy to work with and tried to accommodate all of our requests for our reception. We had the opportunity to work with 2 members of the company. In most cases this would create a lot of miscommunication, but this was not the case with Alexxus Entertainment, since they communicated with us and each other constantly. Mike was really great to work with when handling logistics and payment, while Bob worked with us on the day-of schedule and specific music. My only 1 suggestion for improvement is to go over everything just more time before the big day. We had a mix up on reception entrance in which a couple of our bridesmaids and groomsmen had to swap partners, and then there were a few announcements in which a reminder was needed, but it went really well overall and again the company was just amazing to work with!

Really gets people moving!

Mike did amazing! I'm a bride who never dances, like not even at my high school prom. He played all the songs I had on my request form, and he totally understood what type of music me and my guests wanted to hear! I was dancing like crazy! So much fun! I definitely recommend!!!

DJ Bob was absolutely AWESOME at my daughter’s wedding in August. So entertaining at our wedding and kept our guests on the dance floor the entire night!

We had the best experience with Mike from Alexxus Entertainment. I live 3 hours away so he met with me through FaceTime to go over my wedding day timeline. He had some of the best suggestions and creative ideas regarding special touches for our wedding day that I would have NEVER thought of myself. He really listened to what I wanted and helped remind me that this day is about my soon-to-be husband and me, not anyone else, so I need to do what I want to do to make this day special for us. He was open to trying new things and going against the traditional wedding traditions. He helped me make a lot of decisions that I wasn't sure about just by the questions he asked. Mike really knows his stuff and after I met with him, I felt so much better about my wedding day timeline b/c he helped me get a better sense of how the day will go. He was so entertaining at our wedding and kept our guests on the dance floor the entire night! We had so many compliments after our wedding!!

Bob with Alexxus Entertainment is the definition of professional. Mike was an absolute pleasure to work with throughout this portion of our wedding planning. The interactive online planner made it easy for my husband and I to add songs for our reception at our own rate without the worry of waiting until last minute! Mike also kept us on track (entrance, toast, cake cutting, first dances, etc.) and communicated with our vendors prior and during our wedding to make sure everyone was on the same page.

Because our wedding was cross-cultural my biggest concern was how to balance two completely different music styles during the reception so all guests would enjoy themselves and feel comfortable. Thankfully Mike was able to seamlessly play all of our requests and had an extensive library of Mexican corridos, cumbias, and classics that kept everyone on their feet all night long! We are so glad we went with Alexxus Entertainment!

We had the privilege of working with Mike and Steve. They were both wonderful to work with! Very accommodating, reassuring, and full of great ideas that made our wedding day such a blast! Mike met with us to make sure he knew exactly what we wanted and took the time to get to know us. It was a smooth transition for Steve to step in and DJ our wedding ceremony and reception. I can't say enough great things about Alexxus Entertainment. We met with Mike first to go over expectations and what we wanted in a wedding. You can tell these people have years of experience. Alexxus did our ceremony music, reception and lighting. Best value for what you want. Steve was our dj and he was amazing! He had great suggestions and had our dance floor packed the entire night. Mike, the owner, was awesome from the very beginning. The company itself was recommended to us through our officiant, and I am so glad we chose them! Mike was in town on a business trip and we were able to meet with him in person two different times! Even though he was our original DJ and we ended up having Tim as our event DJ (Mike had a previous engagement) he still worked directly with us and helped to assure that everything was in place! Both Tim and Mike were amazing with communication, answering all of our questions and calling/emailing to make sure that everything was going to go smoothly. Now for the actual day of: Tim did a wonderful job of putting up with me (I was stressed because of the weather) and making decisions about timing and flow. He was so great with the music, too! EVERYONE was on the dance floor almost the entire night! He knew exactly what songs to play and it was just amazing. I could not have asked for a better experience. Thank you so much, we absolutely recommend Alexxus Entertainment!!

After our venue, Mike was the first vendor we booked, and after you call him, and I am sure you will after this review, you will know why. He LOVES what he does, and that is very apparent in everything he does. We are a VERY indecisive couple, but he was very patient and always willing to work with us, and change with us. He did our ceremony music and our reception music. We were originally planning on just having an IPAD play music as we walked down the aisle, but now I am very glad that we hired Mike to do our ceremony music. It went much more smoothly because of him. Finally the reception. HOLY COW DID WE HAVE A BLAST. I love to dance, but my family does not. However, due to Mike's energy and excellent reading of the crowd, everyone was up on the dance floor. It was packed all night, even my 90 year old grandma joined in on the fun. He really listened to our requests too. We actually had three sets of wedding crashers from other weddings happening at the venue, who said that our wedding's music was much better than the others. One piece of advice that I do have for working with Mike, if you are looking for really racy music with all of the couples twerking and grinding on each other, he may not be your first choice. He does have club music like, yeah by usher, and get low by lil jon. Rather he provides all kinds of music that everyone can dance to across a diverse range of backgrounds. 10/10 would recommend and hire again. Seriously, call him you will not regret it.

We had the best experience with Steve! He has the perfect announcer voice. He ran everything on schedule and made all the announcements we asked for. He played all of our top requested songs, and complimented them with his own choices. The dance floor was packed from the first song to the last. He did not play one dud.

Mike was fabulous! Even before the wedding, I planned a wedding six hours away and although I couldn't arrange a good time to meet in person, he face timed me for our final meeting. My dad was so impressed with Mike saying he interacted with the crowd and was so much better than DJs he'd seen before (my dad has a rather skewed view of DJs because he hasn't seen many good ones). Mike kept the reception timeline flowing, got people out on the dance floor, played music based on what people were responding to AND managed to play our requests. We had such a great time, and I'm so glad we hired Alexxus Entertainment. Definitely the best in the area.

Both my husband & I have absolutely NO complaints about Alexxus Entertainment. The entire reception night went incredibly smooth, and Mike and Bob were both very accommodating with all our needs. I have never seen so many people dance the ENTIRE night on the dance floor for a wedding. Everyone had a blast! Best night of my life, hands down!

We had DJ Steve for our wedding and he did an excellent job! He made sure the music was appropriate for the time of the evening and that everyone was on the dance floor! We had a few stressful moments but the DJ worked through them and kept the party lively! He was very receptive to our ideas and helped us keep things on track, reminding us about certain dances or songs we needed to play! Mike was very repsonsive to all of our questions and we were able to talk with him several times prior to the wedding! I would HIGHLY recommend Alexxus entertainment. Love, Love, Love!

Mike was the funnest DJ I have ever seen at a wedding reception. Not being from the area we didn't know who we should have as the DJ so we asked our reception sight and without missing a beat they recommended Alexxus so that's who we went with. I'm so glad we did! Mike did such a fantastic job with our wedding. A DJ can make or break a reception, and he kept people on the dance floor until the very end! He brought forth lots of fun and creative ideas that would make our wedding unique to us. I appreciated how Alexxus Entertainment not only provided a way for us to enter songs online that we wanted played, but also arranged a phone meeting to discuss the outline of the day and review the types of music we wanted and which types we did not want. They were also flexible the day of the wedding, when there were last minute changes.

Mike was our DJ for our wedding in June. Thanks to him we had the most amazing reception/dance!! He did everything we wanted + so much more!! The music selection was amazing and it kept our wedding party and guests dancing all night long!!! Mike was absolutely phenomenal throughout our entire wedding planning process! From the beginning, he was easy to contact and always responded quickly to our questions. He got to know both of us and asked questions about our families and friends involved in our wedding. Mike truly helped us make our day unique and special. The best advice he gave me as a bride was that people will go where the big white dress goes! I was on the dance floor most of the night and sure enough our dance floor was PACKED! Bob of Alexxus Entertainment was professional, flexible and fantastic to work with. We had a couple of last minute adjustments and he was able to easily incorporate them into our big day. They were wonderful about taking requests and making sure not to play the songs/bands we do not like. They were prompts in their responses and helped us organize how the night was going to go and lead us through every step of the way so we looked like we knew what we were doing! :) The only thing we would have changed is that we created a bio for Bob to read about us before we entered the grand march. My fiance is pretty sure he sent Alexxus the bio, but he could be mistaken as well. And that was minor compared to the fantastic job they did. People were dancing the night away and Bob used his judgement to make sure that everyone was tired by the end of the night.

Mike and Bob were wonderful.. They really made the process a lot easier for us. When planning a wedding there are so many details. With the help of Alexxus Enter the DJ service went stress free for us. Bob was there running the show. Everyone has laughing having a great time. I would highly recommend this company.

Being at numerous weddings in my life, I always felt the djs made fools out of the grooms. Chicken dances, hokey pokeys, etc, etc... That is fine for outgoing people that are comfortable with that sort of thing but what about the rest of us that are a little more conservative. When my wife and I met with Mike Lenstra prior to the wedding, we went over exactly what we wanted. He asked what we were comfortable with and I left feeling very good about the upcoming reception.
Brian did an excellent job at our reception and was very professional. The kids all had a great time as well as the adults. He really mixed it up to suit all our tastes just like we wanted. I would recommend Alexxus Entertainment to anyone seeking dj services for their event.

Mike was wonderful to work with.
He played beautiful music for there ceremony and kept everyone on the dance floor all evening during our reception! He understood what we wanted and managed the music playlist so well. It was a good variety of our favorites and some classics. He listened to what we wanted for our day and it was reflected in how much fun everyone had.

We ran our schedule a little tight earlier in the day and therefore were behind schedule getting to the reception... however Mike was able to make everything happen seemlessly and keep things rolling as planned. We really appreciated not only the Dj service, but also running the slideshow, introducing the wedding party, giving updates on the the agenda, etc. etc.

This is a great choice for a DJ, they will listen to all of your requests and make sure you get exactly what you want. They allow for a smooth reception and keep people dancing all night. They have a great selection of music to suit all needs.

Mike was the DJ for my sister's wedding, so I knew he was good. Once I discussed what we wanted for music at our reception, I did not have to worry about a thing! Since my husband and I enjoy all genres of music, I felt I did not give him much direction, but it was absolutely perfect. Everyone commented on how great he was too!

Made you feel comfortable with the overall scheduling of the evening. Was very good at letting the guests and the wedding party know what is coming next, while keeping the night rolling with very few to none empty spaces. Got many compliments from guests and family, even requests for more information as to who to contact for future weddings. Thank you for your services, Alexxus, we don't think we could have found a better DJ!

Alexxus Entertainment is a great DJ service! I contacted Alexxus through an internet site to see if they had my wedding date available very early on in my planning along with one other DJ service. While Mike picked up the phone and callled me that next evening to personnally tell me that they were available and to discuss what I was looking for in a DJ and such the other DJ I contact just mailed me a contract about a week later and said to fill it out, sign it and send it back with the deposit! The fact that Mike with Alexxus took the time to call me and be personable about it made my decision immediately!

I was always able to send Mike an email with questions and such and he would promptly respond every time! He was great to work with and added a very nice personal touch to our reception! He did everything we asked from wishing my grandmother Happy Birthday, to playing a joke on our wedding party, to doing the typical dances such as the dollar dance, YMCA and others!

I would definately recommend Mike with Alexxus Entertainment for your DJ needs! He even went as far as to let my bridesmaids karoke and dance with our best man!! He is a lot of fun!! If you are looking for someone to help you have a great time, Mike is the guy!!
