Alexis did my makeup for my wedding day and I can honestly say I’ve never felt as beautiful as I did, and I owe that to her.
She was incredible from start to finish, so attentive during my trial, really listening and perfecting every detail, and then absolutely delivering on the wedding day. The entire process felt so easy and collaborative, and I trusted her completely.
She made me feel confident, comfortable, and truly special, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I would recommend her to anyone in a heartbeat. -

Best Makeup Artist I’ve Ever Had!!
Ive been a bridesmaid many times and typically don’t like my makeup whenever I have it done- it always comes out too heavy and I feel not like myself. So when booking a MUA as a bride, I was nervous I wouldn’t find someone that really listened to what I wanted and executed my vision.
When I tell you Alexis did even better than I could’ve imagined. I explained to her how I wanted a light and natural look that just enhances my features and she killed it. I’ve never ever felt as beautiful as on the trial day and my wedding day. She is truly so good at what she does. Each of my bridesmaids she do were stunning as well. I’d re-hire her in an instant.
Her pricing was super affordable imo and she was so sweet to work with and very flexible. I loved her- can’t say enough good about her! -

Exactly what I was looking for!
Alexis was absolutely amazing! I went full glam at my trial just to see how I liked it, and it ended up not being my thing. I texted her the changes I wanted to make and she executed them perfectly on my wedding day. I also happened to have the worst acne breakout I’ve ever had on my wedding day, and she covered it up perfectly. My makeup wore all day, even through sweat & tears! It was perfect and all of my bridesmaids thought theirs were, too! Anyone is lucky to have her as their MUA! -

The perfect duo for your wedding day! 💍
Alexis and Veronica showed up in every way possible! Professional, punctual and considerate. They both have been doing this for awhile and it shows! My makeup application lasted me all night and my trial makeup lasted all day (even after getting food poisoning after …true story) the hair that Veronica did lasted all day even with 20 mile an hour winds that day. I did not have a large bridal party but the still kept everything running on time. I am so grateful I found them for my wedding I highly recommend both of them. Also book out in advance they get really busy I booked them out 10 months in advanced. -

Alexis did my wedding makeup and I loved the whole experience! The trial was helpful because it gave me the opportunity to test out what I wanted for my makeup and have some tweaks for the big day. Alexis was easy to talk to, fun, and flexible. She made sure I got EXACTLY what I wanted. She helped me understand what she was doing so I knew exactly what steps she was doing for my makeup. Overall great communication throughout and I loved her vibe!! She felt like just another one of my friends helping me get ready for my wedding day. -

Alexis was an absolute pleasure to work with. From the bridal makeup trial to the wedding day. She always made sure I was always happy with each step of the process. All my bridesmaids and my mother loved their makeup. They all wanted different looks, and she absolutely nailed it. Our makeup lasted all day long! On 10/26/24 I had the privilege of being Maid of Honor at my cousin Sonya's wedding.. I am from San Antonio and knew literally nothing about Alexis Jane Makeup other than my total for my hair and makeup (which was very reasonable) and the time I was to be in the chair. The day of I had many small and large tasks to complete. When it was time for me to be in the chair.. I was ready!! After seeing all the other bridesmaids I knew I would be just as beautiful! These ladies did not disappoint! They were calm, courteous, professional, but not up tight at all.. we share plenty of small stories and laughs.. my son 18 month old walked in and needed me, they promptly told me to hold him and with complete grace they completed my look.. y'all my hair and makeup made this 43 year old face look brand spanking new!! I can not tell you how beautiful I felt.. and it stayed put all through the night straight into the following day!! 🤣 Do not hesitate to book Alexis Jane Makeup!! We had a wonderful experience!! Thank you Ladies!! Y'all were amazing!!!! -

Wedding makeup!
Alexis is the best! She was recommended by my hair stylist and she did not disappoint! She was easy to get ahold of and always answered quickly. She did my makeup for my engagement pictures as my trial and I loved it! For my wedding I ended up wanting to go a little more bold and she knew exactly what to do and I felt absolutely beautiful! She also did makeup for a few bridesmaids and my mom and they all loved it! She was even sweet enough to do a little makeup for my niece last minute. She made the early morning trip to our tiny little hotel room and made it work perfectly! My makeup lasted all day, and I personally felt like I never even needed a touch up! Alexis is the sweetest and you will not be disappointed! -

Alexis did makeup for me, my bridesmaids, and the sister and mother of groom and did an absolutely amazing job! She was great at listening to everyone's concerns and tailoring the look to match what they wanted, while still ensuring everyone looked good together. I had to push my wedding due to Covid and she was very flexible and great at communicating throughout the two years we ended up having her booked. We had a two day ceremony and she also did my makeup for the second day and was great at listening to what I wanted for both looks. I usually don't wear much makeup and Alexis made me look like a nicer, very natural version of myself. She also left little touch up kits which were so helpful! Alexis is truly an amazing makeup artist and went above and beyond to make sure I loved my look. -

Alexis is an amazing makeup artist with the most kind and calming demeanor. I knew from the first few seconds of meeting her that she was the right choice for my wedding day. The trail was beautiful (and so was the wedding day makeup), she handled my reschedules and day of wedding jitters with grace. Seriously I was so stressed out the day of my wedding I had a panic attack, but when I sat in my parents home and she worked on my face, she talked me down and that was the most peace I felt all morning. (Everything that could go wrong that day did; other than my hair, makeup, venue staff, and cake. So essentially everything was fine and I'm a spaz). She made my mother and bonus mom feel beautiful. My bridesmaids were STUNNING. She even did some under eye correction for one of my "bridesdudes". I cannot san enough about her talent and commitment to good customer service. THANK YOU -

Alexis is an incredibly talented artist! She listens to what you have to say, is willing to change things up last minute, and has an amazing talent for making you feel beautiful before and after the makeup! She is easy going and is so fun to work with! When we were getting ready for the wedding it felt like we were all hanging out together! And of course our makeup was incredible! It lasted all day and she even gave little touch up kits! Highly recommended her services! -

Alexis was super friendly, clean, punctual and professional. She made sure to get to our hotel room with plenty of time to get myself and 4 other ladies ready with time to spare.
She remembered (or at least took detailed notes from our trial session) small details about my preference on how I normally like my makeup to be applied, and how certain parts of my face get flaky or are more prone to sweat throughout the day and used products to combat that. She made sure to fit my personal needs/wants and I appreciated that attention to detail. She did a really pretty blush/pink toned eyeshadow look which she said was a nice change from the neutral/brown tones a lot of brides request, so I’m sure she could accommodate any other fun or neutral look you might be going for.
She had me check in a mirror throughout the steps of doing my whole face and was very open to tweaking little things here and there along the way to make sure I was feeling good and got the look that I was going for.
I’m an extremely hot natured person and my makeup stayed on perfectly wayy late into the night after plenty of drinking and dancing!
She also followed up with a text a couple days later letting me know the brands she used of the eyeshadow pallet, brushes and eyelashes she used that I mentioned I really liked and I thought that was nice of her to remember to do. -

Alexis is truly amazing!
100 out of 10 service! She travels which made my wedding day go so smoothly! She’s quick, under 45 minutes, and thorough with her professional makeup. I showed her a picture on Pinterest, she followed it exactly and did a better job matching it to my face structure. I would recommend her for future brides. -

The best advice we received before our wedding was: “choose vendors you trust”. We took that to heart and chose each of our vendors based on quality and trust. Alexis exceeded our expectations (and I have high expectations). I did a makeup trial with a different company and couldn't even recognize myself after, so a friend who used Alexis for her wedding, recommended Alexis. I can't say enough good things about her; she enhanced everyone's beauty and was so easy to work with. She did makeup for the Bride (me), Bridesmaids, MOB and MOG. Everyone looked BEAUTIFUL. My advice: You should just hire her now. -

Hands down one of the best makeup artists I’ve ever experienced! Her story is awesome and she is able to do just about anything. The Texas heat is BAD especially in August (add COVID-19/masks on top of that...WOOF) and her work stood the test of accidentally dunking my face in the pool (after the trial) and mid day August heat for the wedding - looked absolutely flawless both times. My skin is decent but I’ve got some acne scarring from when I was younger and you’d have never known after she got me glammed up! If you’re looking for flawless perfection, look no further...just hire Alexis and you won’t be disappointed!
My original makeup artist cancelled on me (I trialed with a ton) and a friend recommended her in a pinch. She far surpassed all of the others in not only listening to my needs but “baking” the makeup so it wouldn’t run or melt off or look cakey 🤗 -

Alexis was amazing! She came to my house for a trial and we did one thing and was so flexible when I changed my mind a million times before my big day. She was in constant communication, was always on time, did beautiful makeup and happened to be fun and kind! She made a girl who doesn’t usually wear a lot of makeup very comfortable when I was nervous. She made me look so incredibly beautiful and natural which is exactly what I wanted. Not to mention I felt that she was very affordable. She was amazing to work with and you would not regret working with her! Thanks so much Alexis! -

WEDDING REVIEW
It wouldn't let me write a new review for my wedding so I decided to just add on to my previous review because she deserves two!! Alexis is sooo talented!! She did my make up for my wedding on August 9th and was very accommodating when I had to reschedule my original wedding date (April 18th). She showed up on time to my parent's house and even brought her own chair! She was so efficient and was able to do make up for 8 different girls, including my make up!!! Everyone was so pleased with their make up and it stayed on for the entire night!! She made everyone look and feel so beautiful! Alexis is amazing! She did my make up for my engagement photos and I absolutely loved it! Not to mention, my fiancé was there and had a small blemish and she covered that too!
