  The best of the best

  I don't even know where to start! ALEXES IS REMARKABLE!!! Without a doubt, my favorite person we booked for our wedding. I knew I wanted to invest in a good photographer and Alexes is worth every penny. It was really tough to narrow down who we wanted to go with but after our first call with Alexes, I knew she was the one. She spent an hour with us, spent the time to get to know us, wanted to know everything about our wedding, and was also able to give suggestions/recommendations. She includes an engagement shoot in her packages which we didn't need because my husband had hired another photographer to capture our actual engagement (prior to finding Alexes), but I'm SO happy we did it. Alexes spent almost 2 hours with us at basically 3 different locations and gave us the most amazing photos I could have ever imagined. She brought music, made us feel comfortable in front of the camera, made us laugh, and walked us through everything. She was able to capture our relationship so perfectly, the love and the laughter. Not only is she an amazing photographer but she is the most genuine person. She's caring, fun, goofy, and real. I would text her all the time to run things by her, ask her questions and she was always quick to respond with so much detail. I really value her commitment to her clients. Not only that, but she also recommended our florist, Leaf it to Lexi, who was phenomenal! On our wedding day, Alexes and her assistant, Ann, were exceptional! I had a ton of requests in term of where we wanted shots and Alexes made all of it happen. She was able to rally our wild wedding party, she kept me on timeline, and captured our day so perfectly. I've only received my sneaks back but they literally make me cry every time I look at them. I have NO doubt that all of our photos will be incredible. We love you Alexis!!! We hope to have you capture all of our future life moments!

  Alexes was Amazing! Thank you!

  Alexes is amazing and was so much fun to work with from day 1! We hired Alexes as our wedding photographer and we also did an engagement photo session with her in the months leading up to our wedding. We loved working with her and she made it a fun experience so we were relaxed in all of our photos. Alexes is so friendly and fun, but also assertive enough to keep us focused and maximize our time together, which we really appreciated! She really worked with us to help us pick the perfect location for our engagement shoot and helped us select outfits/color pallet to compliment the location, and our vision for the photos. She played music, had us dance, and beautifully captured the simple moments as the sun was setting in the background. For our wedding, Alexis and her assistant, Ann, were exceptional. They were early to capture all the special moments in the morning leading up to our wedding, and really captured the details, which was very important to us. We had so much fun during every photo session throughout the day, and we fully trusted Alexes’ eye and vision to capture the shots and photos we hoped to have for our Wedding. Many of our family, wedding party, and friends shared how much they enjoyed being a part of the photos with Alexes and how she was the kind of photographer that everyone needed: fun, prompt, assertive, creative, and just made it a really great experience! We loved working with Alexes and could not be happier with both our engagement and Wedding photography! We would highly recommend working with Alexes and look forward to working with her again to capture future family moments!

  Alexes: Best Photographer & Destination Wedding QUEEN!

  When considering photographers for our wedding, I felt (as I know most soon-to-be brides do feel) completely overwhelmed. Living in Southern California, we have access to countless photographers with stunning portfolios, and I was definitely feeling that “bridal fomo” (“What if I don’t pick *insert vendor here* but they could have turned out to be so awesome for my wedding!”) In my search, I stumbled upon Alexes’ photos and immediately felt a connection. Not only were her images breathtaking, but I could just tell by her writing style that we would instantly get along….and boy was I right!
  
  I initially reached out, hesitant, because I was planning a destination wedding and I was already getting some familiar responses from other vendors along the lines of “ohhh….destination…where??? hummmm….let me check my schedule….” Alexes’ response?: “That sounds freaking AMAZING! I’ve always wanted to shoot there!” and so our conversation started.
  
  After speaking on the phone, I knew immediately that she was a perfect fit. We laughed, we talked business, and after nailing down the details for the wedding, we signed our contract and I just felt the biggest weight lifted from my shoulders.
  
  The first time we met was for our engagement shoot, my fiancé and I were both a little nervous, never having taken professional photos together before. Would we come out looking like robots? What do we do with our hands!? But from the moment we met Alexes she just made us feel so comfortable and relaxed. She had us do little “games” with each other (spinning, dipping, jumping) and let me tell you, we laughed pretty much the entire time! We had so much fun together and the pictures ended up looking AMAZING!
  
  Leading up to the wedding, Alexes was ON IT which was such a relief during the planning process. I have a bit of a ‘complicated’ family (separated parents…for those who know, know) and she handled every question from them and detail with the utmost grace and professionalism as far as how she was going to shoot that day. On top of all this, our wedding was split between three completely separate locations (getting ready, ceremony & reception) which of course all had to be reached via golf cart as there are no cars on the island. Piece of cake, right?
  
  On the day of our wedding, Alexes and her fantastic assistant were so on point, keeping a close eye on our tight timeline, but also making all of us (bridal party and family included) feel completely at ease. She even found little moments to sneak my soon-to-be husband and I away for some special photos around the island that truly meant so much to us. The day itself was physically demanding (all this after JUST having her second child and was handling the day like a BOSS!) and at the end of the day, we were just thrilled with her attention to detail, positive attitude and overall professionalism. Needless to say, we were over-the-moon when we received our photos. They perfectly captured “us” and our big day in a way that we will truly never be able to forget. My parents, who were very scrupulous over the details for months, had to confess that Alexes was “fantastic” (This being the highest praise one could ever hope to achieve by their standards haha)
  
  TLDR: Your search for the perfect photographer is over. Take it from me, a girl who couldn’t help but make her wedding complicated - Alexes will blow away all of your expectations!! Her quality of work, professionalism, and amazing personality is absolutely worth every penny and more. Whether it be for a wedding, engagement shoot or simply for family photos, she has a way of turning simple moments into magic that you and your loved ones can look back on for years to come.

  Gorgeous wedding photos

  Alexes shot our engagement photos and our wedding and she was phenomenal. We felt so comfortable with her and her vision. She had so many cute and natural poses for us. We are so glad we used Alexes! Our wedding photos are gorgeous and everyone has complimented how incredible our photographer was. Thanks for making our big day perfect!

  I can't even put into words how amazing Alexes is. From our engagement shoot to the day of our wedding she truly captured the love between my husband and I. Her style is absolutely beautiful and she made the entire experience so comfortable. She is not only so professional but also just a really fun person to be around.   Alexes was the best photographer I could have asked for. During our first meeting, she made sure she answered all of our questions and concerns. She explained her signature photography style, editing process, and was always quick to respond to our messages. As my husband and I are quite camera shy, she also reassured us that she would make the experience as fun and natural as possible, and it absolutely was. We were more than thrilled with our engagement photos, plus the wedding photos (and surprise slideshow!) were perfection. Alexes is so talented and she will always be my go to photographer for future events and milestones in our lives.

  Alexes is extremely talented and seriously amazing! She made my husband and I feel so comfortable even though we’re both camera shy. Our pictures turned out gorgeous and I can’t thank her enough for the beautiful photos that we get to look at for the rest of our lives!

  Picture Perfect

  Alexes is the best at what she does. My daughter just got her pictures back, and there is not one bad picture in the bunch. She captured every aspect of the wedding. Her photography is the best. She has not only done my oldest daughters wedding, but also photographs my youngest daughters family events. She is very professional and easy to work with. If you want to have the very best for your special day - Alexes is the one for you. You won't be disappointed. She is awesome!!

  Let Alexes know different locations and feels that you want for your pictures and she will deliver so much more to you! She has an incredible attention to detail and is extremely committed to making your pictures look beautiful. The lighting and location that she picked was PERFECT and we absolutely loved all of our pictures. We received way more pictures than we expected from an engagement shoot. Honestly, its extremely difficult to narrow down all the pictures that we like to post for our save the dates, etc. I highly recommend booking Alexes and I will be using her in the future!

  Let Alexes know different locations and feels that you want for your pictures and she will deliver so much more to you! She has an incredible attention to detail and is extremely committed to making your pictures look beautiful. The lighting and location that she picked was PERFECT and we absolutely loved all of our pictures. We received way more pictures than we expected from an engagement shoot. Honestly, its extremely difficult to narrow down all the pictures that we like to post for our save the dates, etc. I highly recommend booking Alexes and I will be using her in the future!

  There’s not enough words to describe her work. From our very first meeting, up to the big day and even after.   My fiancé and I had a wonderful experience with Alexes. We brought our puppy along and even though he chewed through his leash a few times Alexes was able to get great shots of all three of us. We couldn't be more pleased with our engagement photos! She came prepared with ideas and examples so we would feel more comfortable.   Alexes was amazing!! she did family photos for my sister and I and they turned out amazing! We have 5 boys between me and my sister all under the age of 7 and she worked so well with the kids and worked quickly to get the best shots from all of us! I would highly recommend her to anyone in need of great photos!!

  Alexes shot some boudoir photos for me to surprise my husband for our anniversary. What could have been an incredibly uncomfortable and awkward photoshoot turned out to be seamless and absolutely perfect. She was entirely professional and made me feel at ease. Not to mention the pictures are stunning which I was concerned about because I by no means have a models body. I cannot recommend Alexes Lauren Photography enough! You will without a doubt be blown away!!!

She was quick in responding to any questions beforehand, and she was able to get the photos to us before our baby shower which I was so happy about!   I would highly recommend Alexes for all of your photography needs! She is so much fun to work with! She did an amazing job on our engagement photos and our wedding. She was able to capture every moment perfectly! Her team was just as professional and fun as she was! When my the hook on my dress broke off and was the only thing holding my zipper up, they were quick and to the rescue! One of her associates actually sewed me into my dress while Alexes calmed me. Alexis and her team were the best vendors on my wedding day and I am so grateful that I hired her! Her service was impeccable and the pricing fit into my budget which was even better!
