Exceptional. Alex has a gift of capturing the story in pictures. Amazing customer service!

Alex did our wedding pictures 11 years ago, and we have loved every picture, the memory they hold and the story they tell. We wanted candid moments that told the story of our wedding day, and that’s exactly what he delivered. His pictures are timeless, his eye for detail is refined, and his work is exceptional. Fast forward to now- we had a horrible house fire in 2017 and lost all of our wedding pictures, the CD’s and albums. We look through storage, searched through software and accounts and came up empty. I reached out to Alex, knowing it was a long shot; having our memories from 11 years ago, but to our dismay and shock he had them stored in an old archive. This brought tears to my eyes and once again showed us what an exceptional job he does. The fact that we were able to get those pictures back is something that is irreplaceable. What a GIFT! Thank you Alex for being so awesome!

Alex was wonderful to work with! He listened to what we wanted and what our budget was and created a perfect package for us. We were instantly comfortable working with Alex because of his awesome personality and that was super important for us, so we both looked and felt natural in our pictures. Alex has an amazing eye and we have some incredible landscape shots in a location that he scoped out before our wedding day. I cannot recommend Alex enough and we are so thrilled that we were lucky enough to work with him!

Alex is incredible. I knew I wanted him to be my photographer during the first conversation we had. He is humble, kind, funny and attentive, and will make you feel comfortable. Yet somehow, he steps back (at the times he needs to) and is present at your wedding, but you have know idea he is there, and has captured the most amazing moments. My photos show emotion, meaning, fun, and beauty. I did not have a videographer, so I knew that my photos needed to be everything to immortalize my day. He is also an excellent listener, and wants to make the bride and grooms vision a reality. It is such a personal decision about who you want to join you and your family and friends, on your wedding day...and Alex was absolutely fabulous.
He is so creative, and I have the most gorgeous wedding photos. As a photographer, he stands above the rest. Thank you Alex, I will forever be grateful.

Alexander is amazing and must be one of the best wedding photographers. He is genuine and charismatic. He has great personality and energy. He is creative and has fun and loves his job. Cannot say enough about Alex and his team. They really outdid themselves for our big day. Captured the most beautiful moments throughout the ceremony and reception in a way that we didn't think would be possible. Also, we did a number of "site shots" just myself and the groom, and his use of light and exposure is utterly amazing. He was also very flexible and listened to what we wanted/were looking for from the photos. He even suggested and then made a special trip to meet with me one-on-one prior to the wedding to visit the site and go through it together. Extremely reasonable prices for the great service and quality provided.

I'm obsessed with Alexander Rubin Photography! I would recommend him to anyone in the area looking for someone incredibly talented, thoughtful (he is so much more than a photographer) and also fun!!! I treasure our photos and look at them all the time -- it brings me right back to the day and we hit a home run finding Alexander!! THANK YOU!

We knew we wanted really good photos for our wedding because when the day is over the one thing you are left with are the photos. We knew we wanted the best. We did a lot of research and Alex was competitively priced with other highly sought after premier photographers, he actually beat them out on price which was great. He is slightly more expensive than most standard photographers, but let me tell you it is 100% worth it to pay a little extra money to get a world-class photographer to shoot your wedding.

I felt beautiful on my wedding day and a part of that was knowing I had Alex on my side to shoot my best side. We had already created a good rapport before the wedding but even if we hadn't, Alex can put you at ease. He makes you feel so comfortable in front of a camera; I had let him know some of my insecurities before we started shooting and I can tell you I didn't have a single unflattering shot.

For me there are a ton of amazing things about working with Alex but my #1 has got to be the fact that he doesn't ask for cheesy shots. We've all seen it, the same wedding pose you see time and time again where the couple looks so awkward and uncomfortable because they would never pose like that in real life; it usually includes some sort of lying or leaning on one another. Yeah, we didn't want that and Alex never directed us to do anything like that. Now if you want that, you certainly can ask him to up the cheese and Im positive he will be able to deliver but thats not his go to. He wants real photos that show love and comfort and happiness and he captures the essence of a couple, not just on their wedding day, but how they live their life together.

Alex's photography is epic, our wedding photos are epic. Book Alex! Don't hesitate!

Booking Alexander Rubin Photography was one of the best wedding decisions I made. I have a very unique and particular personal style, and I wanted to capture really dramatic images during my wedding, especially given my coral pink wedding dress. I spent hours going through other local photographers, who did have beautiful photos, but they were all very posed and traditional. As soon as I viewed Alex's portfolio on his website, I knew within 30 seconds that I was going to book him. We got to meet Alex for an engagement photo session, and he was lively, friendly, and so professional. He was so flexible with what we wanted and suggested great locations for us to shoot at. On the wedding day, Alex and his associate, Rachel, were so amazing. They came early, got all of the photos I requested, and I was blown away by our dramatic wedding preview photos; I couldn't have been happier. Many of my friends told me the images looked like they were straight out of a magazine. I like how versatile Alex is (commercial/editorial/wedding photography)- he has so much variety that you are destined to have amazing photos. I would recommend him to anyone!

I cannot write enough about Alex. Thanks to him I had an amazing day that he was truly integral in making happen. He arrived early, always good, and it just got better from there. I think the standard group pictures are always hard to make anything other than required yet I love all of mine and they capture a lot more than just us standing there with different family and friends. He also let me try to pull off some really ridiculous photo ideas such as sitting in a tree!

However this doesn't even come to close to what he managed to achieve during the dinner. We had our dinner in a wine cave and with the way the tables are there is a limited amount of space I didn't even realize he was going to be in the cave. Alex was not only there but was not remotely intrusive and thus I have fantastic photos of people just having fun as opposed to posing. I also have to mention that he filled a few wine glasses!

To sum up I would never hire anyone else even if I had to fly Alex to where the event was.

One more thing if you want you dog in your wedding he is definitely who you want!

So, one more time, Alex thank you for making a long awaited day absolutely perfect and pictures that I look at and they make me laugh and cry!

Rubin Photography did a wonderful job capturing our most precious wedding moments. He and his assistant were fun to work with. They were very effective being exactly where they needed to be throughout the ceremony and reception without me even realizing they were there taking pictures. Both my husband and I are very satisfied with their work.

Alex was very professional and took beautiful photos of our wedding. I was particularly touched not only by his photography skills but also by his caring personality. When I had spilled red wine on my dress, without any hesitation, Alex jumped right in to help me clean it up. He definitely went above and beyond as our photographer!

Alex is a tremendously gifted photographer, and provides fantastic customer service. We are so glad that he was able to shoot our wedding! All the pictures are stunning, and he took a LOT. I cannot recommend him enough.

Alex will make you feel extremely comfortable and only add more positive energy to an already momentous occasion. He's a great host alongside an amazing photographer. The finished products of our wedding were out of this world. They looked like shots for an editorial in a magazine. All our friends that had already gotten married were totally pissed that they didn't know about Alex in advance. My advice to anyone who is planning on hiring Alex - DO IT.

Simply the best. Alex is unquestionably a top-tier photographer which sets him apart from most of his competition. However, what places him alone at the top of the wedding photography trade is his ability to combine his impressive photography skills with his exceptional people skills. A good photographer can capture great moments on film, but the best photographers are able to skillfully connect with their subjects (no matter how diverse) to help inspire some of the great moments. In our case we ended up with hundreds of amazing moments captured on film, many of which were inspired by Alex. We know first hand how much work goes into planning a wedding and selecting vendors is a big component of that work. Spare yourself several hours of work interviewing photographers and go with Alex. Aside from marrying my best friend, Alex with Rubin Photography was the absolute best part of our wedding! He is extremely talented and artistic while maintaining professionalism. He was able to capture every aspect of our day without being intrusive. By the end of the night, he was one of the family! We have recommended him time and again and are happy for every dime we spent to hire him! If he is available for your wedding date, you can stop looking for a photographer now. If he's not available, change your date! ;)

Alex Rubin was the perfect choice for our wedding photographer. He had an excellent portfolio to show us and all of our guests loved him! During the party he wasn't intrusive and yet got all of the important shots. He has many great options to choose from in his wedding packages, and really listened to what we were saying.

He is amazing--he got our photos up on the slideshow--over 1000 of them, within two weeks of our wedding. That is astounding. I have the most glowing feedback from all of my guests regarding not only his professionalism and positive attitude, but also the amazing photos he posted!

He worked tirelessly at on our big day and the results were beautiful. I highly recommend Alex Rubin for your wedding day with no reservations. I am still happy with the results almost 6 years later.

We had a simple wedding but I wanted the photography to be superb since it is through that lens that your memories are immortalized. Alex was never obtrusive but rather part of the background and part of the party at the same time. His ability to capture the essential players and moments of that day combined with the absolute artistry if his composition exceeded my hopes of capturing such a memorable experience in our lives. I am so grateful to have the beautiful storybook of images from that day. Highly recommend using Robin Photography! .

Alex was a ton of fun to work with. He sees beauty in small moments and captures it, and also has a knack for pulling your surroundings into a photo in a really creative way. What I appreciated most about Alex was his go-with-the-flow style. I suspect there was a ton of hustle going on on his end during our wedding, but from where I was standing, it seemed effortless.

Alex was amazing! Not only does he have a fabulous eye, but he is beyond creative! He works hard to catch innovative shots while telling your story - he doesn't just catch the typical wedding photos. He was a pleasure to work with from the initial meeting, engagement session, pre-wedding consultation, wedding day and now post-wedding as well pick out our photos for our book. We couldn't have been happier with how our pictures have come out. Alex is the best there is!

Rubin Photography is the best. Alex Rubin was professional from start to finish and best of all the photos are amazing. The photographers were comfortable to work with and really made the photo process easy and fun.

The photo slide show is beautiful and made me cry when i saw it for the first time after the honeymoon.

Love everything about Rubin Photography and would recommend them to anyone. Yes the cost is not the cheapest you can find but if you want photos that you will love and cherish forever they are perfect.

After some online research he was the only photographer I was interested in and the only one I interviewed. And we was awesome. Besides capturing amazing photos, he was really cool to hang out with and got into the silly groove with me and my bridesmaids. With our package we also get some photo books and a DVD slideshow, and while I haven't gotten mine yet, I've seen examples of his work and it is fantastic. He gave us about 1300 edited pictures and they are all beautiful and he seemed to be just as excited about our wedding as we were. I love him. He said he is submitting our wedding pictures to Seattle Metropolitan Magazine, OMG! He is not SUPER expensive, but certainly not cheap, but if there is ANY way you can afford him, hire him immediately.

I would absolutely use Rubin Photography again for any photography needs! Alex is very professional and even offered to come up to Everett where I was getting my hair and make up done to get pictures of me getting ready! Absolutely stunning photos!

Alex was terrific, not only did he take some amazing shots of our wedding but he was easy to work with, made our guests feel comfortable and really captured the moment nicely.
