  Made our day less stressful

  Alex was awesome. On the day of the wedding, we had a little bit of an issue with the hair dresser, and she wasn't able to get done with all the girls in time, so he set up a game plan to do the guys first, then the family pics, and then the girls. It worked perfectly. We did pictures before the wedding so guests didn't have to wait around, and I would definitely recommend that. We had plenty of time for all the pictures we wanted and if I remembered one that we didn't take, I just let Alex know and we took it right away. Once the reception started, I barely even saw Alex (which is a good thing) because he got all kinds of great candid pictures. Also, he memorized all of the bridesmaids' and groomsmens' names which was crazy. AND he pinned on all the groomsmens' boutonnieres! Overall, a great experience and I would definitely recommend him!

  Excellent and easy to work with

  Alex was so easy to work with! We had a small, intimate, family wedding and I wanted Alex to capture every person that was there and he did! He was professional, polite, and willing to do whatever we wanted. We were very happy with him and his work.

  Value and Incredible Talent!

  Alex is great, we loved working with him on engagement photos, and also with his associate Tyler on our wedding day! Alex is extremely professional, takes gorgeous photos, and his editing style is simplistic and real - nothing super filtered or trendy whitewashing, just very classic and timeless - and the value for the investment price is a steal. He has a great eye for involving colors from nature; our engagement photos in the fall incorporated red and orange leaves, while our wedding photos incorporated a beautiful spring purple that was absolutely stunning. On top of that, I’ve been to weddings where the photographers are distracting or even create a commotion with yelling at their clients, but Alex and Tyler blended right in our wedding day and have such a relaxing and calming attitude, they almost become unnoticeable (I mean that in the best way) to let you enjoy your day and live in the moment instead of stopping and halting everything for a photo - we will have so many real and candid shots from our day and I am soooo excited to see our full wedding album!

  Stunning Photos That Will Stand the Test of Time

  If you are a bride or groom searching for a photographer - you can stop looking now. Alex has such an incredible talent for capturing the genuine emotions of your wedding day. He captures these emotions in not only the bride and groom, but every family member and guest at the wedding.
  
  We used Alex for both our engagement and wedding photos and were so happy with our choice. Alex has a talent for finding the perfect shot in any setting. We did outdoor photos for the engagement session and wedding photos were mostly inside. He gives great direction on how to pose and where to stand in group photos. The poses look natural and comfortable in every photo (and this is coming from a couple that generally does not like to take photos!). His use of natural lighting created the most dreamy and beautiful photos of our special day. He has such a creative eye and will give you heirloom quality pictures that you will cherish forever.
  
  I also appreciate that Alex has a very natural looking editing style. Every person looks like themselves and no one looks washed out or over retouched. The photos Alex takes will not look dated in 10 years. They will always look classic and beautiful.
  
  As if Alex's impeccable work was not enough, he is also very professional and kind. I don't think I have met a nicer person! He was perfectly on time and ready to go for both engagement and wedding photos. He was great to talk to and laugh with during both the engagement session and on the wedding day. You can tell he genuinely cares about his clients and treats them like a friend. My husband and I are so happy that we had the privilege of having our wedding photos taken by Alex.

  QUALITY experience

  Alex was great from the start. He was very personable and easy to communicate with. Everyone who interacted with him at our wedding, enjoyed him. I received many compliments about his professionalism and after the wedding, I was extremely pleased with the outcome of every photo. I couldn't say enough good things about him. Alex was at our wedding and reception as long as we wanted him there. He captured every moment exactly as I wanted them.

  Alex is fantastic

  Alex was so great to work with for our wedding. He's professional and was very calm during all the wedding chaos. He was easy to work with and wanted to do his best to ensure our pictures were everything we wanted and more. His turn around providing the pictures back was quicker than I expected, which was an added bonus. I would highly recommend him.

  Amazing & Unique Engagement & Wedding Photographer

  Engagement Session

  We absolutely loved having Alex take our engagement photos. From taking pictures of the actual moment, to driving around to different locations for the rest of our photo shoot. He was incredibly easy to work with and made it a fun experience. I know Alex personally, and having him work with us in a professional setting just made our big moment that much more special.

  I’m sincerely grateful for the quality of service Alex provided. Not only did he provide quality pictures, but he also helped ensured things went off well. He goes above and beyond!

  A great photographer, who has become a great friend!

  Alex, is so personable! When I first reached out to him to inquire if he could be our wedding photographer, he immediately wanted to meet me and my soon-to-be husband for coffee. I think we sent two hours talking at the coffee shop. Alex wanted to get to know us and learn everything about our wedding. I felt like we had been friends for years after we left the coffee shop and knew that we had found our wedding photographer! Our engagement and wedding photos were fantastic! We couldn't be more than happier to recommend Alex as a photographer!

The man I chose to marry and the man I wanted to take our wedding photos.. everything else was up in the air for me. I am NOT a wedding planner and I made many, many silly mistakes along the way. One decision that wasn't surrounded with doubt, stress or regret was choosing Alex Michl as our photographer. I've known and been friends with Alex and his family since 2013. He is wonderful and you will love your experience with him! He's also incredibly talented and you will cherish your wedding photos forever! I can't say enough good things about him and our experience from the beginning to the end.

  We had the very best experience with Alex! He is so passionate about what he does, he was just so considerate and kind. He really went above and beyond for our wedding. I am so impressed with the photos. I would recommend him to anyone!
