Alessi Bakery is all around fantastic! They were on top of everything and always communicated with us and were very helpful from start to finish. We wound up with a 3 tier lemon cake with a raspberry preserve filling and a buttercream frosting. Our guests raved about our cake! It truly was the best we’ve ever had - and we’re incredibly picky when it comes to food, especially dessert. It was a part of our special day we’ll always remember and we can’t wait to go back for our anniversary to order a small version of it!

We couldn’t be happier with our wedding cake from Alessi's Bakery! We gave them an inspiration picture, and they absolutely nailed it! It was almost too beautiful to eat! But the real highlight was the flavor. We chose lavender, and our guests couldn’t stop raving about how unique and delicious it was. Not the traditional Wedding cake...But still so yummy
On 10/5/2024, my wife and I were united in marriage at the DoubleTree by Hilton.
From the time I was little (the husband), me and my siblings used to frequent Alessi's bakery for treats and pastries with our mother.
For our wedding we were looking for a very particular themed gamer cake that was specific and each tier of the cake was a different flavor. I recommended Alessi's out of the different bakeries in the area, and I am glad we went with them. We had chocolate, coconut with pineapple filling, and carrot cake. Two of our cakes wer galaxy themed along with our main cake being a variant between purple to white. With the cake toppers, our vision for the cake came to life.
The wedding cake staff were very professional and greeted us with an assortment of flavored cakes and fillings they had to offer. Given the history of Alessi's, we both knew we were in good hands. They managed to capture our vision for the cakes and deliver on flavor.
If you want a beautiful and delicious wedding cake, then we highly recommend Alessi's bakery.

We absolutely loved Alessi! We ended up doing a small wedding cake that served maybe 6-7 people and we had a dessert table with mini cupcakes, cake pops, doughnuts, regular size cupcakes and cheesecake bites. You definitely will get more bang for your buck by going with the mini desserts! Everything was so delicious! Our guests haven’t stopped raving about our desserts. My maid of honor even went and got a Tupperware the next day so she could take her desserts on the plane with her! Our wedding cake was strawberry with cream cheese filling and buttercream icing on the outside. Let me tell you that cake was amazing!! It was so moist and not overly sweet. We even had some the following day and it was just as good! Another hit with the guests was the mini cupcakes with lemon blueberry mousse. Outstanding!!! You want be disappointed with Alessi!

Most Amazing Cake I’ve Ever Laid Eyes On
Alessi Bakery went above and beyond! Everyone was blown away by the cake and even the other vendors said it was the most beautiful cake they had ever seen. Not only was it beautiful it was so delicious. The cream cheese filling was so good it tasted like cheesecake. On top of the beautiful cake, all the assorted desserts that we requested were AMAZING and perfect! The cake and assorted desserts made the wedding and im pretty sure we had a few guests almost cry when we cut the cake. It was too pretty to cut. I would 100% recommend Alessi Bakery to everyone!

Wild flowers were a theme for our wedding and Melissa made us a gorgeous floral cake. We got so many compliments on it from both guests and our vendors! We also had small plate desserts and they were so tasty. Our favorite was the chocolate chip cookies. We were thrilled with Alessi and would rec them to anyone :D

Amazing cake!
Melissa and her team did such a beautiful job on our wedding cake. Not only was it pretty but it tasted amazing! Our Lavender cake base with blueberry/blackberry mousse was a hit! My parents loved joining the cake tasting as well- Melissa made this super special and goodness we loved trying all the flavors! We purchased the 3 cupcake stands from amazon and Alessi placed their beautiful cupcakes and cookies as well for extra snacks.

Winter wedding 2022
Alessi's bakery did a fantastic job with our wedding cake! Unfortunately, the girl who assisted us with our wedding cake choices left shortly after deciding to have them do our wedding cake, however, everything as far as smooth delivery, beautiful decor and taste was phenomenal! Not to mention, the cake, even days after the wedding, was still so fluffy and delicious! :) Being married now into an Italian family, it is our new favorite bakery for rainbow cookies and their infamous scachatta pizza! We will be using the bakery for future cake as well!

We got so many compliments!
We decided to get a small cake for the couple and we got an assortment of desserts for the guests: mini cannolis, mini cheesecake bites in assorted flavors, and mini cupcakes in assorted flavors! We had a theme of forrest/wood and they made a beautiful tree trunk cake with our initials carved into it. When we went for our tasting, they gave us SO much amazing desserts that it felt impossible to choose! Highly recommend

It was very easy to work with Alessi to order this cake design from my home in Key West, and have it delivered to the Tampa party for my niece. It was beautiful and very tasty. We got an Amalfi Tile wrap design with a lemon topper, with half strawberry and half guava filling and vanilla and guava swirl cake. Perfect!

I am so glad I picked Alesia Bakery for our cake. We had chosen a different person before-hand, but she had to back out two months before the wedding. I was freaking out a little. But I found Alesia bakery, sent an email, and she was very fast at responding to me multiple times. I sent her pictures of what I wanted, told her what parts I wanted changed and added, and it came out absolutely perfect!
The taste was also incredible. We got a marble cake with vanilla buttercream and cookie n cream mousse filling. I wish I could buy another one just for me honestly. Best cake I’ve ever had, AND it was cheaper than the first one we had planned on getting too.

We didn't want to spend too much on our wedding cake but knew we wanted specialty flavors that would appeal to my Hispanic family so we weren't sure we'd be able to stay under budget. Jordan at Alessi helped us decide on a top-tier-sized wedding cake that we could use for photos and a couple of tres leches and almond-guava sheet cakes that could be served to our guests from the kitchen (everyone got 1/2 slices of both flavors). Our guests couldn't stop talking about how delicious the cakes were! Jordan drew a sketch of our wedding cake design that we approved and our actual cake surpassed our expectations. From cake tasting to the reception we had the most incredible experience with Alessi bakery! We originally planned to go with Publix, but we were so happy that we found a local bakery to blow away our out of town guests. Lauren at Alessi Bakery was so quick to respond. She was amazing to work with. We had been to multiple bakeries for cake tastings and Alessi was by far the best, no questions asked. omg... this cake was delicious. Lemon cake with buttercream icing, simple yet delicious and thick!! I couldn’t believe how beautiful it was. They made my vision come true!! When I emailed Melissa M. for info about the cake she was so nice and it helped me with my decision of having my cake made by them. We had our two-tier wedding cake, groom's cake, and mini desserts (mini cupcakes, mini cannolis) from Alessi Bakery. Everything was delicious! All our guests loved it. They worked with us at our initial cake tasting appointment to try different flavors and combinations. This actually gave us many ideas for the mini cupcakes. They delivered everything the day of the wedding, there was nothing we needed to do, it was all taken care of by Alessi.

I saw Alessi at an Expo show and I tried their cupcakes and thought it was so good. I still looked around but I always came back to them and they to me were super affordable. I looked at their IG page and website and loved their designs. I am glad I made the decision to book them. My cake was perfect and my guests and photographers loved it. 10/10 would recommend! My husband doesn’t like cake so to compensate having a small cake ( I love cake) they were able to make us sugar cookies and mini pies! It was delicious and not much left over after the reception! Great desserts and amazing people. Always helpful and checked in on design elements that weren’t set in stone!

We ordered our cake for 200 people from Alessi and it was soooo good! We had a tiered cake that was chocolate with Nutella mousse and a sheet cake that was lemon with coconut mousse. Having the sheet cake be about half of the cake served was a huge budget saver and we were glad they were able to prepare the cakes that way. Both cakes were absolutely delicious! I was happy to have a few left overs to finish later and the next day, but there certainly wasn’t much left, our guests loved it!

Alessi Bakery, I cannot speak highly enough of them! The tasting went very well. I had a private meeting with one of the wedding managers who was very thorough. My cake was delivered on time with no issues and it was beautiful! Everything I wanted and more and tasted absolutely amazing. I've been going to Alessi since I was a child and knew I could have no other vendor for my cake! Don't pass on Alessi!

Alessi catered our wedding and the cake was amazing!! The time spent and detail to perfection was so very worth it. As we explained our perfect cake the team took notes and actually drew the cake design in front of us. This made it extremely easy for my future wife and I to anticipate the creation we would see on our special day. The masterpiece was perfectly priced and looked even better in person. We haven’t even mentioned the fact the cake was absolutely delicious. We so appreciate the Alessi team and give them our highest praise. Thank-you so much!!

The easiest vendor to work with. Quick responses to any questions I had. Even when it was something they did not provide Lauren came up with easy solutions or advice. The cake and cupcakes were beatiful and every guest bragged about how good the cake was. My husband and I did cupcakes for our wedding as well as a 2-tiered cake. As soon as I explained my vision for our wedding cake, Lauren knew exactly what I wanted and brought it to life and it looked amazing! She offered great suggestions and was so helpful in helping us make sure we had enough for our guests as well as making sure it looked great! After having tastings at a number of different bakeries, I was sold by Alessi. Melissa was so professional and listened to every single detail my now-husband and I wanted out of our cake. We selected a cake design I found on Pinterest and every other bakery seemed hesitant to agree to make the cake for fear it wouldn't come out as pictured; however, Melissa took one look and told me it wasn't problem. I would be lying if I didn't admit I was bit nervous but her confidence put me at ease and when I walked into the reception and saw the cake, I was floored. It was even better than the picture I showed her. The cake was the most reasonably priced and Alessi did the most amazing job. And it tasted AMAZING. My husband and I were both so thrilled to work with Alessi Bakery and would recommend them to any brides and grooms in the Tampa Bay area looking for a bakery that's willing to make their dream cake.

I am so unbelievably happy with Alessi's services. The cake was amazing, both beautiful and delicious. My husband and I ate our for a week after our wedding, and even an entire week later is we moist and delicious. All of our guest complimented both how beautiful and delicious the cake was, which is hard to come by. They were so easy to work, friendly, and accommodating. The cake came out exactly the way I had envisioned it! I was actually afraid of getting a fancy cake after watching those baking shows and seeing how everything is covered in fondant and was very pleased to see that they used real icing! Our venue included the price of the cake in our package but gave us the option to choose between a few vendors and we knew almost immediately when we saw Alessi's on the list we were going to choose them. Alessi's was extremely flexible with whatever we wanted to do and let us know what options were within our budget. We decided to do cupcakes and a small cake. They helped us design all of it and made sure everything matched our theme, decor, and colors. The tasting was fun and we had a great sales person she was very friendly and professional. The day of we didn't even hear or see them setup, by the time we were shown the room before all the guests went into the ballroom everything was setup and it was amazing. We wanted to drive right into the cupcakes (it was hard to resist haha). The cupcakes were delicious, moist, flavorful and exactly as we wanted them. I would highly recommend using Alessi's bakery.

We did a combination of the three tier tradition cake and a mixture of cupcakes for our big day. Alessi's was wonderful about helping us decided the amount that would work for our guest count, what flavors we liked the best and what other would also enjoy. We ended up liking so many of the their cake flavors we did about 5 different combinations. They were wonderful to work with and would HIGHLY recommend them for any and all occasions. Guests loved all the options and we ended up not having anything left over.

Melissa @ Alessi Bakery was great to work with and prompt at responding to me in regards to our wedding cake order. Alessi Bakery provided a 3-tiered wedding cake (with each level being different flavors) and a cookie cake as the groom's cake with a Gator football theme, both of which were impeccable and enjoyed by all of our guests. I actually did not eat my cake or cupcakes (besides the bite my husband shoved all over my face) because I was so busy running around, but I had MANY, MANY guests tell me it was the best cake and cupcakes they ever had. My sister in law has used them before and raved about them as well. The design was exactly what I wanted and we were able to pick from a variety of cake and frosting flavors. We mixed and matched a 3 tier cake and 48 cupcakes, and we still stayed under our "cake allowance" from Cross Creek Ranch. I cannot wait to eat my topper next year! :O)

Alessi's Bakery never fails!!!! Our December 5, 2015 wedding had the most beautiful cake thanks to Alessi's. The cake became a part of the reception decoration with its beauty. Alessi's even offers cake stand rental which added to the wonder of the cake. We ordered platters of Italian Wedding cookies which were delicious. Our guests stated that the cake was not like other wedding cakes they had tasted. The flavors of chocolate fudge with chocolate ganache filling, lemon cake with custard filling, and traditional white with cannoli filling were more like a gourmet dessert. Awesome job!!!!

Fabulous and delicious cake!!! We did a smaller cake to cut and cupcakes for our guests! The display was beautiful and exactly how we envisioned it!!!

We are not doing a wedding cake, we want to do a pie bar! Our wedding is not until March 2016 however we had our tasting and every single sample was so delicious we had a hard time choosing which one to get. I was so surprised at the amount of goodies (pie, cheesecake and chocolate covered strawberries) that we could get, all within our budget! Can't wait for the wedding day =)

The cake we ordered and received was beautiful! It was exactly what we asked for during the planning process the bakery was really great with helping us figure out all the details. Plus, the cake tasted amazing!!!

Melissa at Alessi did an amazing job with our cake and cupcake tower! She integrated our vision perfectly and even included a surprise design I wanted added for my husband on the cake! All of our guests had nothing but great things to say about the cupcakes and cake!

My daughter had a very specific cake in mind, based on the theme and color scheme of her recent wedding. We visited a number of bakeries in the Tampa Bay area, and had almost given up, until we went to Alessi's. Melissa was incredible!! She custom made an Egyptian pyramid themed cake, including the actual pyramid, made of cake, on top of the cake (which none of the bakeries were able to offer us) and Egyptian symbols which included a message from the bride and groom! Alessi's also rents their cake stands at a super reasonable price. Needless to say, the cake was as beautiful on the outside as it was tasteful on the inside - and the price point was perfect!

Melissa at Alessi did such an amazing job with our wedding cupcakes. The guests all raved about them and there was not a single crumb left on the dessert table at the end of the night. We got married Oct 11 and now three weeks later people are still talking about them. They have such a variety of cakes, fillings, and frosting that you could basically make any combination your heart desires. We chose 3... Coconut cake w/ vanilla frosting, carrot cake w/ cream cheese frosting, and devil's food filled with chocolate mousse w/ vanilla frosting. And the presentation... WOW!!! Every individual one was beautifully done and we had a large cutting cake that she made to look like a giant cupcake. Again... WOW!!! Our wedding venue uses Alessi for all of their weddings and we completely understand why. I wish I could post pics to show how amazing everything looked, and take my word on how amazing it all tasted (and that's coming from someone who doesn't have a sweet tooth). Our only regret is that we didn't order more cupcakes. Thank you for everything, Melissa, and we will definitely be visiting Alessi Bakery many more times in the future! Maggie and Todd

We purchased our wedding cake from Alessi's and could not have been more pleased. It turned out exactly how I had pictured it. The taste was AMAZING. We had people trying to steal pieces from other tables to get more. Overall very happy with both the look and quality of the cake!

Yummy! The most delicious cake I've ever tasted. It was moist and exactly what we asked for. Our cake had sunflowers on it. When I called to ask if they were fresh or not I was told it would be gum paste or I could get them from my florist. I didn't want to bother so left it as gum paste. Not sure what happened but when I entered the reception there was real fresh flowers. Such a wonderful surprise!

Everything tasted delicious and their staff was very flexible in meeting times. They also helped by providing a tasting and recommendations when we had a tough time making a final decision.

INCREDIBLE! Alessi is a Tampa institution, but Melissa made a wedding cake that was unimaginable! Working with our Gatsby theme wedding Melissa, sketched out a couple choices and we landed on a very intricate and ornate gold and black masterpiece.
The final product was a three tier black fondant square wedding cake, with gold Gatsby etching around it. To make the cake truly ours, Melissa worked in the Gatsby style logo from our wedding invitations (and our fist initials) into a design on the top tier, along with the Fire Sticks from UT. Melissa even incorporated the UT minarets as well as the Calgary skyline into the design on the bottom level.
While the design of the cake really stole the show, the red velvet cake itself was brilliant! A difficult cake to make and make well, Melissa and team nailed it.
If you want perfect in every possible way, Melissa at Alessi will get you there...and then some!

Alessi Cakes are amazing! Our red velvet & marble cupcake wedding cake was beautiful & delicious! Their cream cheese frosting is probably the best! Their attention to detail and what they can do is amazing! They were also extremely affordable for their level of expertise and professionalism. I would use them again for future events. Probably baby shower next! :)

Alessi's bakery was wonderful. They did our cake for the wedding. We had a mixture of a traditional layer wedding cake and cup cakes. It was absolutely beautiful!! My husband and I only had about two bites of our cake, but it was delicious!! All of our guests said the cupcakes and the cake were really good!! We might have to call Alessi's again for our anniversary to recreate our cake so we can try it again! If you go with Alessi you won't be disappointed!!

One of the highlights of the night was clearly the cake. They did an absolutely spectacular job on our wedding cake! We met with Melissa Maggiore and showed her a few images of different cakes we liked. After that, we let their creative talents take over. The cake exceeded our expectations exponentially. Hire Alessi! You will not be disappointed!

Alessi Bakery cakes are delicious & my cake turned out exactly as I had hoped. Truly stunning! I came into the meeting with an image of what I wanted them to do - they replicated it well & altered it slightly for my smaller number of guests just perfectly. Top notch vendor for wedding cakes!

Thank you Alessi Bakery for creating an amazing wedding cake! They were able to use my grandparents original cake topper from 1941 (keeping it in mint condition) on our cake. The cake also tasted incredible! I highly recommend this company!

Alessi made my dream wedding cake! It looked perfect and tested.good as well! I have tried many,wedding cakes and typically they do not taste good but this was like heaven in my mouth!
