Dream dress? Yes please!
Alesia made my dream dress possible. I thought it wasn’t going to happen until I found her. I needed someone creative and kind and luckily I found Alesia! She also made my husbands custom suit which he LOVED. I have gotten hundreds of compliments on my dress and so has my husband. My wedding day was perfect and Alesia helped make it happen. Michael Sent on 04/17/2018Such a great experience! I will always come here for any special occasion needs. Had I known she did custom made dresses I would have had her do one for my step daughters for my wedding. We got one suit for my husband and both of our shirts, she also steamed our daughters dress. I already had a suit I had purchased recently, or I would have rented my suit here also. She spent time and listened to what we wanted and offered options, she was also honest and didn't try to get us to get more than what we needed. Being a same sex couple in the suburbs, we felt at home and welcomed. I already have suggested Alesia C Studio to several of our friends. I highly recommend.

Maria Sent on 02/21/2018My husband and I were having a destination vow renewal ceremony, and I had a very specific idea about what I wanted my dress to look like. Alesia and I discussed the details, and she ultimately created a dress that matched my vision. At the end of our first consultation, she provided a rendering. A few weeks later, the dress was mostly complete, minus a few details and alterations. And a week thereafter, the dress was finished and as perfect as I'd imagined. At our ceremony, my guests had nothing but praise for how beautiful the dress looked. Alesia is an attentive listener and followed through on every detail that I requested. But she is also very creative in case you aren't sure exactly what you want. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a custom-made dress for a special occasion!

Custom gown made with love & patience
Alesia definitely made the dress shopping and wedding planning experiences better. I went to a bunch of stores and the only place I had the "oh my goodness yes, that could be the dress" feeling was a place that was crazy expensive - they asked me to purchase two dresses so they would attach the top of one and bottom of the other, and the price was way to much that I couldn't peacefully invest in it. I was able to recreate that "YES, that's my wedding dress" with Alesia, and it made me feel a lot more calm about the wedding.
We did a gown that was inspired by Indian style outfits, and the material and beading used had to be handsewn to get the correct look. I know that the style with all the heavy beading was newer for Alesia, and hats off to her for doing it justice. There were moments when I wasn't sure if my vision would work or that the dress would look clunky, and Alesia & her team always came through with ideas to make it perfect. It felt like MY dress; like something I would wear and not something I tried on that distracted from me.
Never did I think I'd go for a custom gown, but this was worth it and not as painstaking as I thought it was going to be. I brainstormed with her, went in for multiple fittings, and she and her wonderful seamstresses worked to get that dress the correct shape and fit. I'm glad I could meet her. My parents also came to many of the appointments, and she was very sweet to them as well. More than her talent, she is really kind and enthusiastic. Trust me, during the wedding planning process, you want someone who makes your life easier and someone who is excited to go alongside you, not someone who will be rude or dismissive. I hope others can have a pleasant experience like I did. -

A Sent on 07/24/2018I have to commend Alesia and her seamstress for all the patience they had to work with me so that I would be happy with the dress I wore to my son’s wedding! I walked into her shop thinking it was like other bridal shops where they show you samples and you order it in your size. Alesia then explained that every dress was custom designed and made for my measurements. It was a little over 3 months before the wedding. I should’ve started earlier, but truthfully I had been looking for months both at bridal stores, department stores and online. I had certain things I wanted and was looking for a different color to complement navy and grey which were the wedding colors. Alesia encouraged me to go with the color I was thinking of which was teal. I had not considered a custom made dress and the price was more than I was hoping to spend but without any other dress to fall back on I decided to give her offer a try. What really impressed me was her flexibility to please me! She even offered to make a sample of my choice without taking even a deposit! She said if I didn’t like it she would keep it as a sample in the store as she didn’t have many samples in my size. That was amazing!! Obviously, my dress did not have top priority as this was a busy time for her and she had many orders for prom and wedding dresses. But she knew the wedding date and assured me she’d have it done in time. As it turned out the sample was not what I wanted. She graciously remeasured me, helped me pick out a different shade of teal and different fabrics. The fabric I switched to was what she had suggested on the first day but I thought I wanted something else. She helped me find a stretchy lace fabric for the top as what I had chosen was beautiful but I couldn’t move! She was super patient!! It took quite a few fittings but a few days before the wedding I walked out with my dress!! I received many complements on the dress and color! She even fixed and steamed the bride’s dress.
