THE BEST CHOICE we made for our wedding! We recently got our photos back and were blown away. We looked like stunning! Every shot was beautifully taken and edited. Alec and Pako know what they are doing! They were able to manage wedding chaos and time constraints with ease and made me feel well taken care of. Looking back on the pictures brought us back to our wedding day beautifully captured all the emotions we were feeling. I cannot thank Alec and T and their team enough, these pictures were the best wedding gift we could ask for :) -

Alec & T (Be That Bride) wedding planning team created the wedding of our dreams in Cabo San Lucas. The design was immaculate and the entire team went above and beyond to make us feel so special as the bride and groom. They put an incredible amount of time and effort into planning our wedding and ensured there wasn't a detail missed. There were a few wedding day hiccups (out of everyone's control), but they did such an amazing job responding to it and made sure everything was taken care of so we didn't have to worry about a thing. We highly recommend them and are so appreciative of all the work they put into our wedding. It truly could not have been a more perfect day! -

T, Magda and the rest of their team are absolutely incredible. We trusted them with the entire process from vetting venues to the very last detail on execution. They brought our vision to life 1000x and blew away any expectations we had for our perfect day. We are both very busy and they alleviated all the stress of planning and coordination. I wish there was an option to give 1,000,000 stars. I have never much such a selfless and accommodating group pf people. The communication was excellent and the customer service is out of this world! If you have any hesitation booking, remember this...you are not only paying for exceptional results, but you are also paying for the literal dream team! Hiring Alec and T was the best decision I have ever made. I now have a lifetime of memories from my wedding that I would have never had through anyone else. After many conversations with Alec & T I now consider them family and the most amazing people I have ever met. MY husband and I could not be happier with the experience we had. -

We used Alec & T as our wedding planners and they honestly made our wedding weekend the most MAGICAL experience ever! We were one of the many couples who had their initial wedding date postponed due to Covid-19. As a result, we had to make many changes (including changing our welcome party location and changing our wedding venue entirely)! As a bride who is also a zealous planner, it was quite nerve wracking having to plan an entire wedding from thousands of miles away - and without ever visiting the location of the welcome party or where our wedding would be hosted! I put full faith in T, Denise, and Amanda - and i'm SO HAPPY that I did. Our entire wedding weekend was absolutely flawless. We had our welcome party at Maria Corona, which was a location strongly recommended by T. It was an incredible start to the weekend. Everybody loved the food, the mariachi band, and the whole vibe. And our wedding...where do I even begin? IT WAS AN ABSOLUTE DREAM! Every single detail was perfect. I lost count of the amount of people that came up to us and said, "This is the best wedding ever!" & that is greatly due to the hard work and dedication of the dream team!! -

Alec and T and their team are seriously the DREAM TEAM. They are PROFESSIONAL, responsive (which you will appreciate more than anything with a destination wedding), kind, genuine, absolutely AMAZING, and any positive adjectives you can think of, that’s them!
My now husband and I found Alec and T through searches and fell in love with their photography and style before we even knew that they were a preferred vendor for the resort where we had our destination wedding in Cabo San Lucas. I could tell from the moment T and I spoke that she is genuine, responsive, experienced and WANT to help you as much as possible. She is caring yet firm and direct. She will listen to your wants and needs AND give you the best options with her expertise as someone who’s knowledgeable and experienced in the industry. For example, I wasn’t aware of the best time for photo ops in Cabo, best places to go for photos, timeline, etc. She provided ALL of these details in an organized fashion and timeline, which included when things were going to happen, where it would happen, with whom you’ll need to be there with, how long each photo session would last, the golden hour for your ceremony and reception for photo ops, what you need to do before Alec arrives, etc. I work as a PM and have always been a stickler for details, and am an ‘I-need-to-know’ type of person, so being provided with a schedule, down to the minute, was one less stress taken off my list for wedding planning and a huge relief (which gave me time to stress over something else :P, like COVID). And another amazing thing about T, as if she isn’t amazing enough already, she WORKED with us through COVID. The weekend of our wedding was when the US announced borders shutdown. Without even the slightest hesitation, T worked with us to re-schedule our wedding MULTIPLE times throughout the pandemic. Some of our friends were supposed to get married last year also and they did not share the same positive experience with their vendors. T just instinctively knew the burden, stress and hardship the pandemic had on us, and instead of looking out for herself, she worked with us to remove as much of the stress as possible and looked out for us. Actions speak louder than words, and T proved that she cares about the people she works with and is passionate about what she does!
Alec. Where do I even begin to describe to you how AMAZING, just absolutely AMAZING, this man is?! I loved, absolutely loved, working with him and his team, and am grateful he gave us the opportunity to work with him! Alec is OUT OF THIS WORLD and is a PURE GENIUS at what he does!!! When you speak with him over the phone, you’ll hear the kindness and gentleness from his voice. And then you meet him, and he will simply blow you away with how incredibly remarkable he is! Of course, wedding day came, and I was nervous and fidgety, and literally 2 sentences from Alec and I’m calm. He has a way about him, in his mannerism, that will sooth and calm you even in moments of distress. When he is there, he will make you feel and see that he’s in charge and has total control of the situation, so you don’t have to worry about anything and just enjoy your day! He knew exactly what to say and do to put all of us (especially me) at ease and happy. He will make you see AND feel how perfect your day is (even with all of its little imperfections). Alec is the type of person you MUST MEET to understand how incredibly personable and charming he is. My husband and I, our families and friends are so lucky to have had the opportunity to work with Alec and his team on our wedding. HE IS THE ABSOLUTE BEST!
We are so blessed to have found Alec and T and their team during our search for the perfect wedding photographer. It was THE BEST DECISION we made. THE BEST!!!! -

Your One-Stop-Shop for a Dream Wedding
Listen y'all.
I hired T to plan my wedding through Be That Bride Events and Alec & T for my wedding photography and video. Best money I ever spent.
T helped me navigate rescheduling my wedding due to CoVID-19 and made that process so much easier than it could have been. I have friends who had to reschedule their wedding and had to pay extra deposits or forego deposits entirely. I asked T if we could move my date and she made it happen at no upcharge and with zero stress. She knows everybody in Cabo and has great relationships with her vendors and venues and they do what she asks. Period. Hiring her to plan my wedding was the best money I ever spent, and the value she provided for what we paid her is outrageous--she should charge more.
The photography and video by Alec was phenomenal. We are absolutely stunned by how gorgeous and perfect our beach photos at sunset are. We have friends who got married on beaches who have told us they wish their photos had come out as good as ours. Working with the harsh light in Cabo is tricky and Alec obviously knows what he is doing. Alec was also able to keep us on schedule--and get us back on schedule--when hair and makeup went an hour later than it was supposed to. He is also an absolute sweetheart and will put you at ease. He is who you want in charge of your wedding day timeline so that you can be sure all the images you want are captured.
The video Alec and his team put together has made everyone we have shown it to absolutely gush. He uses drones--YES, DRONES--to capture the ceremony from above. It's truly spectacular. The editing of the ceremony, vows, and speeches was perfect and he included the best sound bites without creating a video that is too long. We will cherish our wedding video forever and plan to watch it every year on our anniversary.
I can't say enough about Alec and T, and Be that Bride Events. They are the best decision I made with respect to my wedding and worth every. single. penny. I wish I could have a second wedding so I could hire them and work with them all over again, and if I ever plan another event in Cabo, for any reason, I will be calling them.

From the moment I spoke to T, I knew without question I would be choosing Alec & T and Be That Bride Events as our Wedding Planners and Photographer. T instantly made me feel at ease planning a wedding from afar. Her expertise and confidence made it an easy choice and is the best decision I made for the planning of my wedding. They did an amazing job helping plan our rehearsal bonfire and even helped with coordination of my bachelorette party. Everyone went above and beyond and were so great to work with.
Alec and Team- I will admit, I was most nervous about pictures. Pictures are one of the most important parts of the day, and I was so nervous to have a photographer I’ve never met take all our pictures for the day. All of my fears were quickly eliminated when we met on Friday before my wedding. Alec and team did such an amazing job at making everyone feel comfortable and getting all the pictures we wanted. I even let him take some pictures of me sitting in the sand, even though I said that was on my “do not” list. I quickly trusted him and knew he was going to take amazing pictures. We had so much fun with him and the team the day of our wedding. The pictures and video definitely did not disappoint. I think I've watched the videos and looked at the pictures every day in the past week since I got them. They're absolutely breathtaking and perfect!
Denise did an amazing job helping us find the most perfect hotel. She listened to exactly what we wanted (“we want something nice, but something where our rowdy friends will fit in” 😊) and she delivered many great options, and helped us pick the perfect hotel. She answered countless questions and made us feel comfortable picking a hotel without ever visiting. She kept us on track with our budget, and provided updates along with way so we always knew what we owed and when. She was also great at providing updates on our room block so we could continue to bug all the people that didn’t book when they said they were coming. Denise was such an amazing point person day the entire weekend. From being at the boat to pick us girls up from my bachelorette party to everything she did at the bonfire, and the day of the wedding, we appreciate her so much.
I told Pam the night of the wedding that I was going to be so sad I was not emailing and talking to her all the time. I could not have picked a more perfect fit to work with my husband and I. She understood my type A personality and was amazing at always providing answers to our questions (which I had lots of random ones) at all hours of the day and night. Pam truly understood us as a couple and helped make sure we were comfortable the entire planning process and week of our wedding. She understood what we wanted our weekend to be about, fun and celebrating us as a couple, while having a flawless execution, which happened. The entire night of the wedding she was by my side fixing my train, providing water during pictures, and making sure we stuck to the timeline, which was one of my biggest requests. Pam helped make everything absolutely perfect our wedding week.
Amanda helped our entire design come to life. She went above and beyond texting me proofs and make sure everything was exactly how I pictured it. There was nothing I would have changed and was so happy to see how everything turned out!
The entire team from the photographer to our Wedding Coordinators, Pam and Denise, made every detail absolutely perfect. I can truly say I was never stressed the day of the wedding and everything that went into months of planning was flawless. I am so thankful for Alec and T and their team that made our dream wedding a reality. We had over 90 guests at our wedding, and everyone raved at how perfect everything was. Thank you so much for your team and all the hard work you put into making our wedding weekend flawless.

From the moment I saw the pictures on their website to our initial ‘interview’ call, I knew Alec & T were the photographers for our Cabo destination wedding! Alec and T and their videographers are incredibly professional, had a vision for the pictures they felt would capture us best and the energy to get it done!
Our wedding day was a whirlwind of activity and Alec & T and their team most definitely added to that (in a fun and exciting way)! They got all the obligatory wedding pictures and so many, many more. There were times throughout the evening I’d forgotten they were there, only to spy them happily snapping pictures in the background that I didn’t even know they’d captured until our photos arrived a few weeks after our wedding.
And OMG!!...our pictures and wedding video are so vibrant in color and so perfectly showcase the day!!! Alec, T and the team really captured the essence of us and our friends and family. I’m speechless and so in love with our big day all over again. THANK YOU - THANK YOU - THANK YOU!!!!!!! -

We feel so grateful that we chose Alec & T as our wedding photographers. I told my husband that this is the great decision that we made for our destination wedding in Cabo.
I found their website online in June 2018 when we first considered Cabo for our wedding place. Their well organized and brilliant real wedding pictures immediately drew my attention. I emailed T and she responded immediately, and this is what she always on top of all communication from that time to our wedding day, and even after wedding for follow up questions. T not only helped us for wedding picture questions, but also she gave us advices for hotels, event arrangements, coordinator informations, etc.
We met Alec and T in person a day before our wedding. T brought us a sweet gift from their son. Her son's greeting in Chinese. We were so impressed and touching. They made this so personal. And this is what wedding pictures all about. It is a record for a very perusal moment.
During the wedding day, Alec is the most professional, enthusiastic and organized photographer I have ever seen. My guests also accomplished their professionalism in front of me after the wedding. Every moment during that 4.5 hours wedding shooting is so tight and they make sure they cover every action and expression. Because my wedding ceremony started a little bit late, 6:30pm, I was worry about we didnt have enough sunset light for beach photos. However, the photos turned out fantastic at the end. Alec's talent of using the best natural light and capturing the emotional moments.
I know the most challenge for a photographer is how to overcome insufficient light situation, and Alec proved his outstanding skills and talent. Well done! My dad is a semi professional photographer in China and he also won several Chinese national photography awards. After reviewed our wedding picture, he said " 不愧为优秀的摄影师，取景抓拍的技术一流！“ which means, they proved their recognition as the best wedding photographers, outstanding skills on structuring scenes and capturing moments.
Thank you Alec & T! I have posted our pictures and your website on my WeChat friends group. They all are impressed by those beautiful moments you recorded for us.

Working with Alec and T was nothing short of a dream experience from start to finish! They were friendly, professional, and from the first phone call, T was a like our fairy god-mother. She is not only an amazing photographer, but given her extensive experience shooting weddings in Cabo, she was able to guide us through the often overwhelming process of a destination wedding. Their confidence and positive energy put us at ease and made what could have been a very stressful day go perfectly. When we chose Alec and T, we knew we would be in the best hands for our photos and video, however what we didn't know was the terrific experience they would provide us throughout the journey.
The first time we met T, you could tell she has a deep passion for her job, and it clearly shows through her work. Their experience is obvious, as they are able to capture the best shots and moments while blending seamlessly into the crowd as if they were old friends attending the wedding. Their photos far surpassed our expectations, and we were also impressed to find out that she also offers other planning and decor services upon request. Her photo booth was a huge hit! In addition to the pictures they took, the wedding video was absolutely amazing. ( Do not skip out on the drone upgrade!) We can’t believe how well it captured our day, and we will always be thankful to be able to re-live the memories from our wedding day for years to come. We highly recommend Alec and T to anyone searching for a photographer on their big day!
When we think back on our wedding day, they will always be a big part of our memory of it. My whole wedding party hit it off immediately with them and that helped to get great shots. We also received many compliments from all of our guest on how awesome our photographers were with being so organized and fun. Photos and Video are the most important part of your wedding, as they are the only thing be able to look back on. If you are on the fence on deciding...go with the best - Alec and T! There is no way you will regret it!

Planning a destination wedding is stressful, but I could not be happier that I found Alec & T photography. T is the sweetest and most calming person to speak with. Our first conversation was at least an hour, and I hadn’t even hired her yet, lol!! I did shortly after though. Their blog is amazing – I am anxiously waiting to see if we will make it on there!!! Make sure you visit it – their work is simply beautiful. It was a blessing to be able to see other wedding photos that they took at my venue – it helped with my planning so much. Every time I emailed T, I swear I had a response within 2-3 hours at the most. I was never worried and never questioned a thing. Listen to T about the ceremony timing and flow of the wedding – she will make a schedule for you and work with your planner to ensure it is executed. You can tell T is a wedding planner herself - take the advice! Our wedding and photos went off without a hitch. T is awesome at coming up with creative poses and settings and she makes you laugh. I can NOT WAIT to see our photos. Thank you Alec & T so much!! We absolutely loved you guys! -
Cari Sent on 06/04/2018I could barely contain my excitement when I received T’s email that our photos were complete! I honestly did not know what to expect but boy was I happy! My husband and I both laughed and cried when we went through the photos and video. It brought back all those memories and happiness and Alec & T did such an amazing job capturing all of those moments. Alec & T’s chemistry the day of the wedding was spot on and T has the most amazing personality. My entire family absolutely loved the both of them and they truly made our wedding day that much more special. 100% Alec & T were worth the money and I am so glad I went with my gut when picking out a photographer!

This review is for Alec and T's wedding planning company, Be That Bride Events.
From the moment I first contacted T and spoke to her inquiring about their wedding planning, I could tell her and her company knew what they were doing! She was real, honest, and had such amazing, fun, and contagious energy to her! Putting your wedding planning in someone else's' hands while being on the other side of the country is not something I thought would be easy and comfortable with - T and her team made that possible! They guided me throughout every step of the process and were there whenever I needed. The last month there were a bit more details I would have liked sorted our prior to then, but nonetheless the team worked through every single one of them to ensure the smoothest set of days possible! Pam, Denise, and Amanda outdid themselves. Elated to say we had the most breathtaking, gorgeous, dream wedding and it exceeded every single one of our expectations. From the biggest of items to the smallest of details, these ladies did it all and delivered something I will never forget. I first want to say that I’ve decided to write my experience, because I would hate for another couple to go through what me and my now husband went through. Also, I’m not a big fan of tearing down a family owned company, but the scam they tried to pull was unbelievable. And a year later, still in shock.
Being a bride, and doing a destination wedding from Australia was already a big hoop to jump through, so of course we needed help and found Alex & T through our search.
They did our wedding planning, and I’m very happy now that I think about it, that she wasn’t able to do our photography as well.
We decided on a destination wedding for many reasons, but mainly because my husband is from Australia and I am from Houston. It was a great vacation spot/resort that we picked and the prices couldn’t be beat, so we thought a destination wedding in Mexico was our go-to wedding plan.
I found Alec & T WEDDING PLANNING services on google and wedding wire. I was super excited to meet T, mainly because of all of the great reviews she had on here as well as her website.
We gave T a heads up that we wanted our wedding to happen in 4 months (Feb 22). She didn’t seem a slight bit intimidated. As we started to move forward with contracts and the design aspect/cost, things weren’t adding up. $100 per chair was quite ridiculous in our eyes, especially in Mexico...
Our initial estimate was pretty high for 35 guest and bringing my own menus and everything. So we did more digging and we were able to find a vendor of our own and booked the exact same tables/settings/chairs/alter/etc for a 1/4 of the cost! I wish I was exaggerating.. We gave T and budget and she completely didn’t listen and gave her own vision as well as her own budget... And kept trying to add onto the budget that we already couldn’t afford...
Fast forward to meeting T face to face for the first time.... Completely embarrassed us... She showed up to the wedding rehearsal/bonfire DRUNK... She was lifting my husbands best man’s shirt up and kept following him around. She was extremely loud and her words were slurring... She followed my husband to the bar multiple times, and kept saying “I get free drinks around here, they know who I am”, but followed my husband and used our resort wristbands to get a drink.... We didn’t even properly go through the rehearsal.. She just linked my father and I’s arms and said “you know what to do, typical”...
I’m very glad she wasn’t able to show up to the wedding, because I really feel like she would have ruined it or go drunk again... Some of my guest still talk about our wedding planner and how drunk and crazy she was.
I still had to pay her... She offered to throw in $5 sparklers for free for the inconvenience of us doing 90% of the job and finding out they were multiplying the rentals by 5, basically ripping us off.. on top of the 10k we had to pay just for their help, which we ended up doing ourselves... 2 weeks before landing in Mexico...
Pam and Denise (her assistants) saved my wedding at the end of the day. And I’m so grateful to have had them there. I will say that.

You always hear the craziest stories about planning a wedding- the excitement, the stress, the ups, the downs, the details, and all the emotions that go into planning a DREAM wedding. Throw Covid into the mix and it gets 1,000 crazier!
My dream was always to get married in Mexico and as soon as I started researching, I saw the work of Alec & T and that became the second most important thing to me. T was kind in the beginning (January 2020), and we were able to come up with a contract and plan that I was fully invested in. However, as soon as Covid hit the United States and wedding planning got harder and even crazier, that changed.
As a bride and groom, I am sure you can imagine the stress we went through trying to make the right decision of whether to go through with our wedding or not. We had to take into consideration our 60+ guests flying in from all over the world, including my husband’s dad from Africa and my Maid of Honor who has Type 1 diabetes and is considered extremely high-risk due to Covid. When I emailed T and told her that we had made the decision to cancel our wedding she said that she would honor the deposit and could potentially do a couple’s shoot. I responded immediately and inquired for more info about couple’s shoots, but she did not reply. I then sent a follow-up email in which she simply gave me the price and let me know that Alec had plans to travel on the dates that were set for our wedding. Again, I promptly replied and did not hear back which led to me having to send another follow up email. Sadly, her response was extremely disheartening and made me feel at a complete loss. I had already given up on so many things I had dreamed of and planned for, but instead of T responding kindly and professionally giving me dates/ times for a couple’s shoot, she stated that she would not be refunding deposits and that they could only be used for a future wedding- but that is NOT something I needed nor wanted. A couple’s shoot would have been great, but can anyone honestly say it is fair to pay almost $4,000 for that? I was not asking for my complete deposit back, but it would have been nice if we could have come to some civil agreement/ compromise that worked best for both of us. I understand that I signed a contract, but it clearly stated that payments would be returned for “other causes beyond the control of the parties” and although I knew that Alec was still able and willing to perform, I also think that is VERY unfair given the current worldwide circumstances- Covid is way beyond any of our control!
T was unwavering in returning any of the $3944 I had sent as a deposit which was appalling considering I would NOT be taking up any of her time, services, or products. All my other wedding vendors, including the resort, were nothing but kind, understanding, compassionate, and moved mountains to either refund me or come up with an alternate solution. I was extremely disappointed and frustrated with the lack of professionalism and T's adamancy in being unwilling to work with me through this process regarding payment. I completely understand that Covid has been devastating to ALL of us and I can’t imagine what it must be like as a business owner, but at the same time I believed there had to be some sort of working agreement or alternate solution.
I think about the amazing flexibility and kindness I experienced from Pueblo Bonito and other wedding vendors and I am just extremely disappointed that I did not receive the same experience from T. I truly expected better. Alec & T capture love so well in their photographs, I wish that they did the same in real life.
I hope, wish, and pray that no other bride and groom must go through this experience and lose such a huge amount of money. Times are tough and right now all I would hope for and expect is kindness.
