  Exceptional!

  I had the joy of working with Carla who was amazing! She did mine and my 6 bridesmaids hair. She did such a great job, was easy to communicate with, showed up right on time and had a plan ready. We did a trial run and it was perfect, my hair stayed in the entire night even with all my crazy dancing! I would definitely recommend working with ales beauty it wasn’t stressful at all.

  10/10 Recommend

  Hiring Alea Beauty was one of the best decisions I made for my wedding. I felt so taken care of and didn't have to stress or worry about anything. They always reached out to check-in and keep me on track with planning.
  
  On the wedding day 4 artists showed up to get us all ready, 10 women plus 2 men. They were kind and accommodating. Everyone looked flawless! They finished early and checked on everyone before they left for any final touch-ups. They even gave me the cutest touch-up bag, but I didn't even need it because the hair and makeup was perfect all night long even through my crazy dancing!

  The Alea team was SO accommodating and helpful, especially on my wedding day!

  I’m very glad I went with Alea Beauty! Carla was wonderful throughout the entire process and was able to answer many of my many questions super quickly. A few days before my wedding day, she called to let me know the H&M artist who had done my trial had unexpectedly left the team, but that she would step in and do my hair and had Sam do my makeup. Day of, the entire Alea team was there right on time and timed hair & makeup for me and my 10 bridesmaids perfectly. When I wasn’t 100% in love with the eye makeup for myself, Carla walked me back into the makeup chair to make sure she and Sam didn’t leave until I was 100% happy. I was so relieved she did that as I was super overwhelmed with it being my wedding day and all. Sam continued to work on my makeup until we got it right! And somehow she was able to make my eye makeup work despite me waking up with a flareup of an old eye injury! The pricing for Alea Beauty’s services reflects the quality and care they put into making you feel beautiful on your wedding day. After the wedding, it was so cool to see my wedding featured on their Instagram story and reels! Overall, the flexibility of the Alea team, responsiveness, adaptability, and kindness makes them the perfect choice!

  Outstanding

  Alea Beauty did a fantastic job for my daughter’s wedding. Carla and her team were so easy to work with and kept to their time line so we were all picture ready for the photographer. The hair and make up preview session was such a great way to help my daughter create the look she wanted for the wedding day. Carla was so sweet and accommodated us with a last minute change of location. The bridesmaids were all very happy with their hair and make up as was my daughter- the bride . As mother of the bride I was thrilled with my services as well, and so glad I chose them to help the bridal party look their absolute best ! Thank you to Alea Beauty for their professionalism and skill in making us all feel beautiful !

  Natural Beauty

  Working with Alea Beauty for my wedding day was amazing and relaxing. From the first contact to the wedding day I felt taken care of. The artists I worked with were professional, timely and just all around great to be around. They meshed well with the group the day of and it just felt like a group of friends hanging out and getting ready together! I loved the fact that they came to me for my trial and really listened to the look I wanted. I felt like I looked like myself on my wedding day, just lit from within, which was what I wanted! All of the bridesmaids loved their hair and makeup as well! I highly recommend Alea Beauty if you want a seamless experience with artists that truly listen to you and can deliver the look you are going for! I plan on coming back and updating this once I've received photos!

  Wonderful Experience

  Carla is absolutely amazing at what she does! After simply glancing at an inspiration photo I brought, she was able to make my hair look exactly like the photo and beyond! Carla was patient and willing to make adjustments. She did both my bridal and engagement hair, and I would love to use her again for special events in the future. She and her assistant Natalie did a great job on my bridesmaids' hair, as well. They made sure we all felt special and beautiful on my wedding day.

  Carla knew exactly what I wanted!

  Carla is seriously the best. From the very beginning I felt so comfortable with her and she totally exceeded my expectations. She is professional, energetic, extremely personable and really made for my dream wedding! Her knowledge and experience is so prevalent and I found myself confiding in her as a life coach too! I got so many compliments and now know where to go for any events in the future. Thank you so much Carla! I really can’t express how pivotal you were in making my wedding day the best I could have ever imagined :)

  I loved everything

  I was a bit nervous to have my hair and make up done because I usually don’t wear a lot of make up and a very natural with my hair. Carla was very sympathetic and listened to my concerns and assured me that I would still look like myself which was really important to me. At my trial I was so happy I literally cried! I felt like myself just a more beautiful special version of myself. On the wedding day when I saw my future husband he cried as well! I couldn’t of been happier with the way Carla made me feel and look for my wedding day it was the best day of my life!

  great then not great

  I booked 8 months ahead. I was told I needed to wait till a few weeks before my wedding date for trial so weather/skin would be similar on my wedding day. It was known I was traveling from out of state( 5hr drive). 1 hour before my apt it was canceled due to artist being sick. This left me not many options to book due to work restrictions. They offered a full refund. I agreed on 9/5/23 to this. A month later I am still waiting for my refund. I am sure they do great work but customer service is not great with follow through.

  Thank you for giving us the opportunity to address this issue publicly. Firstly, I am very sorry that our service did not live up to your expectations. We try our utmost to ensure that our clients have a positive experience.  From our ratings and reviews, you can see that we do a great job of delivering, at multiple locations, across multiple years.
  
  As for the optional previews (aka trials), we do recommend that those are scheduled closer to the wedding day. The reason, everything will be finalized:  veil, accessories, length of hair, extensions ordered, and your hair, skin, and the climate will be most like it will be on the actual day. Additionally, it will be fresh in the mind of both you and your artist. That being said, we are, and have been flexible, to do our best to accommodate your schedule, especially for our out of town brides.
  
  We do have certain, industry-common, limitations, which is why they are noted in your contract. The main reason being that we cannot accommodate previews on weekends because we are likely with our brides, especially during busy summer months, such as August. The bulk of our work is on the weekend. Our artists typically get up at 3 or 4am to work 12-16 hours on Friday-Sunday, working a 30-40+ hour work week in 3 days during peak season. Most of our artists also work in salons during the week on top of that. Add to that, they have families and personal lives and sometimes they get sick. Unfortunately, your artist awoke the morning of your appointment extremely ill and had no choice but to reschedule. When an artist gets sick on a wedding day, we send another artist. For a preview, we attempt to reschedule before switching your artist so as to not disrupt the entire wedding day schedule. Your appointment was in the afternoon and you were notified at 8am, not an hour ahead like you stated.
  
  Knowing that your mother was traveling from out of town with you, we offered to reschedule with a different artist, but you expressed you'd like to stay with your original one. We then had a thread of over 20 emails trying to accommodate you. You had very narrow parameters as to when you were available and your original artist could not meet those. We then offered for you to work directly with our owner and you still refused, at the same lower rate. We also offered the option of a video appointment knowing that your schedule was limited. Again, you refused all our attempts to work with you. At this point, we had no other options and we offered to let you out of your contract, with a full refund, which we were not contractually obligated to do, as it seemed no matter what we did you would not be happy.
  
  Per our contract, refunds can take up to 14 days to process as it has to go to our accounting office, who handles many clients. Your wedding was scheduled on 9/16. The card we had on final for you was no longer valid, so we reached out to see how you would like us to send your payment. You requested a check by mail, which was sent.
  
  Throughout the process, we have replied to all your emails and phone calls, usually within 24 hours with the exception of some weekends for obvious reasons outlined above. At no time have you been ignored. 
  
  Again, we are very sorry that you were not happy and chose to not work with us following your artist getting sick. We take customer service very seriously and appreciate the opportunity to learn how we can better serve both our clients and our team.
