I cannot even begin to describe how amazing Brittany is. Not only did we love her, multiple of our guests and family members commented on how great she was too. We booked hair and makeup in addition to photography which we were really happy about. She made us feel so beautiful and brought so much positivity, ease, and joy to the whole night. Our wedding photos are everything we could've wanted. She also makes the whole process feel organic, without limiting the number of photos you get or adding watermarks for guests. Brittany is not only the best photographer she is also an incredible person and will genuinely make your wedding day better!

Brittany is actual angel. We are over the moon at EVERY SINGLE PICTURE from our wedding! She is incredible at photography, so fun and stress free, quick to respond to questions, and she knew all the best spots. It was important for me to get the emotions of the day captured and WOW! Clicking through our album I can hear what’s going on because she captured every moment. Our guests commented on the large amount of pictures and VARIETY of shots were above and beyond. Another worry I had was having overly edited pictures…. Nope. TIMELESS!! Not overly saturated or altered. Despite being in the height of her busiest year, she got us our album very quick. We just love Brittany so much. An absolute dream to work with in every aspect.

Five years ago, I met the love of my life. 127 days ago, I married the love of my life. Brittany with Alchemy Creative maybe didn’t buy us that first round of margaritas on Cinco de Mayo in 2015... BUT without her our wedding process would not have been the same. My girlfriend and I hired Brittany for a boudoir session. My friend was celebrating her weight loss journey and I was celebrating this process of wedding planning, wanting to surprise my fiance, feel sexy, and commemorate this pre-baby body. I was honestly so nervous. Yet, Brittany with her sweet spirit and vibrant energy turned it into an experience I can’t wait to go do again! Her materials and responsiveness during the planning process made it so easy to book and be prepared. On the day of, her humor, positivity, and one of a kind catch phrases (that I still repeat) made it a joy. She captured us at our best. Amazing hair stylist, photographer, and all around wonderful. Brittany captures your day in beautiful natural light and emotional, candid moments!

Brittany is THE best! She's incredibly versatile, warm, flexible, and the exact type of person you want by your side for your wedding. When I first spoke to her on the phone I felt like I had known her for forever and immediately knew she was going to be our photographer. I researched many others, but through her whimsical, natural, candid photos she stood out. We also had her do everyone's hair (10 of us, moms, bridesmaids, and bride!) which she rocked out effortlessly. Then she easily slipped into camera mode as our photographer. But she goes above and beyond. Getting dressed a button came off my dress, she immediately volunteered to sew it back on, remaining calm. Then she held onto my lipstick and all night would re-apply periodically. Mid-way through dancing, she was by my side doing a quick up-do with my hair since we were sweaty :) She keeps things fun and has the right instincts for ensuring your day runs smoothly for you. Then when it came to our photos, she made us feel at ease, we were all laughing, and she captures the essence of people so well. After our wedding, the next day, we had sneak peek photos that we all cried over. How does she do that? They are stunning, beautiful natural light, capturing laughter, emotion, and such beauty. She is SO who you want to hire for all the above. Couldn't be happier with our choice to have Brittany by our side and capture our special day.

Amazing photographer

Brittany is, and this is no exaggeration, a f***ing rockstar. And it's not just because she gives off Beyonce vibes (we had a couple of guests tell us Brittany reminded them of her). She's so incredibly talented not just in the art of photography, but also in the art of human connection. Her photos speak for themselves - they're all gorgeously shot, but her true brilliance comes from making her couples comfortable. Our initial apprehension at feeling hokey or cheesy was quickly wiped away within the first few seconds of our engagement shoot. Also. We were an hour and a half late to our shoot and Brittany waited for us (as out-of-towners we completely dropped the ball on understanding how far apart everything was). When we finally arrived, she was so sweet and understanding even though we absolutely did not deserve it. Her professionalism and commitment to her couples is unparalleled. We had a sneak peek from our wedding day within 9 HOURS, she stepped in to coordinate and direct us when we were getting overwhelmed, she graciously took a gazillion photos for our guests who wanted them, and she did it all with a grin on her face. Oh. And I can't forget to mention how in love we are with her photos. This lady is talented on so many levels it's almost gross. Do yourself a favor and make Brittany a part of your special day!

Brittany is the best!! Hire her!

My husband and I chose Brittany to shoot our wedding at Dunton Hot Springs in Dunton, CO and she was amazing! You don't realize when you get married how much time you will spend with your photographer the day of your wedding and Brittany was the best stranger (I actually met her the day of our wedding) to spend my wedding day with. Right away she felt like a friend and was able to make the day fun and stress/ drama free. She has the best energy and is super positive. She goes above and beyond to get the best shots even if that means freezing her butt off. On top of being the best human possible her photos are amazing and speak for themselves. I months after my wedding still have people telling me how amazing my wedding photos are.

Brittany and her husband also shot our wedding video which turned out amazing too! It was edited in such a fun way and was not boring or too long to watch. They captured the best moments from our day and strung them together perfectly.

I can't recommend Brittany enough. We love her and are so thankful we found her. We wish we could get married all over again just to spend another day with her! :)

We hired Brittany as our photographer, as well as our makeup and hair artist, and I don't think it would have been possible to have had a more perfect person for the job. We traveled all the way from Mississippi to Colorado, and Brittany did a wonderful job making the process before the wedding as easy as possible for us. She absolutely nailed my wife's hair and makeup (Amanda could not stop talking about how perfect it was). She paid great attention to detail in every picture she took and made sure to get pictures in a multitude of different scenery and poses. We had never had professional pictures taken before, and thought we would be super awkward, but Brittany made it feel so natural. Overall, her amazing personality and skill helped make our wedding day perfect!

Hire this magical artist, please. It’s hard to put into words how integral Brittany became with our wedding process. She has this way of making you feel like your wedding is the coolest thing, and she has a genuinely positive and upbeat “can-do” attitude about everything. We still have family members telling us how awesome our photographer was during the wedding - so easy to work with and fun to be around. From the engagement shoots, we got to know her throughout the year before our wedding (so much so, that when the wedding day rolled around and we were laughing and having a ball together, one of my best friends said, “Wait, I forget, how do you two know each other?”). She goes out of her way to make something great happen. I haven’t even talked about her pictures yet… she is MAGICAL. Our engagement shoot lasted - I kid you not - 15 minutes, and we have the most epic, grandiose pictures that people think we hiked up a huge mountain for. She also did my hair and makeup the day of the wedding!! Basically, just hire her. For photos, for hair, for makeup, for friendship. She’s the best.

We used Brittany as our photographer, make-up artist, and hair stylist on our June wedding at the Lyons Farmette in Lyons, CO. We contacted her after being frustrated with vendors we haphazardly found at a few wedding events and asked our wedding planner for help. Brittany did not disappoint. I met her over a beer on a weekday to chat about our wedding, our style, and what we were hoping for. Here's the number one thing I love about Brittany - she puts you at ease in the first minute. We're a lesbian couple and that was super important for us. We didn't want someone we didn't feel comfortable with and this is true for any couple getting married. You want someone who feels like they're a guest, that fits in, that puts you at ease so you can be your true selves in front of the camera. She did just that. I seriously cannot emphasize how wonderful she is - she knows when it's a moment for a laugh, when it's a quiet moment, and when we needed a down moment.

Beyond her incredible personality and tact, her professionalism, value, and flexibility were top notch. She showed up to every appointment on time, prepped, and ready to roll. When she had Idea A for the wedding and we suggested Idea B, she followed-up with a way to make our Idea B even better. She doesn't roll into a wedding with a pre-determined idea of what you need- she listens, advises, and makes the magic happen.

She is a dream. Do NOT pass her up!

YES! YES! YES! I don't even know where to start with Brittany, but you NEED her to be a part of your wedding. I did tons of research for the perfect photographer, and stumbled upon Brittany on Instagram. The first time we chatted on the phone I knew I wanted to work with her. She is so personable, interested in the people she works with, and really took the time to learn our vision for the day. We are the kind of people who thought we would need shots to take our engagement photos, but Brittany made us feel comfortable and not cheesy and it ended up being one of the best days. Fast forward to day of the wedding- Brittany picked up my flowers, yes, not her job, but she did it, did my hair and makeup along with my bridesmaids, stepped in as the coordinator often, and then was our photographer! If that's not a one woman show I dont know what is. She far exceeded any expectation I had for a photographer, and I truly feel like she made the day complete/better. The photos speak for themselves. Her work is THE BEST!! If you want to feel and look beautiful, and have the best pictures then you need Brittany!! Thank you thank you, Brittany! I knew I wanted to work with Brittany the minute she responded to my inquiry. Her response was fast, concise, clear & she was so helpful. I didn't have the same experience with a handful of other HMU vendors. I love that her trial fee doubles as the save-the-date deposit. She traveled to me for the trial and I showed her a few pictures of what I wanted. I'm not usually much of a hair & makeup person, so I was concerned about anything too over-the-top. Brittany created the PERFECT look. She did hair & makeup for a couple of my bridesmaids and my mom, and everyone felt beautiful! Plus she's just an awesome person to have around on your wedding day. Brides Review - I hired Brittany to do my wedding hair/makeup and supply services for my 4 other bridesmaids. She came onsite to our wedding venue and worked through everyone very efficiently, I believe we were even done early! I was a destination bride so I didn't have any trials done ahead of time, but I supplied her some pictures of what I wanted and she created a beautiful look that looked wonderful. My bridesmaids also provided only pictures and she recreated them all perfectly. Her prices are very reasonable and include everything you would expect, no up charging for lashes, travel to onsite, etc. Very straight forward and very helpful which allowed the morning to flow very smoothly. Thank you Brittany!

We hired Brittany to style our hair for my wedding and she was awesome! She showed up ready to work and was very professional. Everyone that had their hair done was amazed it held through the whole night (we like to dance a lot!) She was super sweet and even with just a photo and no previous experience with my hair was able to do exactly what I wanted my hair and my bridesmaids. I was unsure about pricing (in general for hair services they seem all over the map) but the service was worth every penny. I couldn't have asked for a better experience! Thanks Brittany!

Brittany was amazing to work with! I showed her a picture of what I wanted my hair & make-up to look like, and she was able to recreate it perfectly! She also has the BEST sense of humor, and when you meet her, you feel like you've known her forever. At the bridal trial she suggested I add a flower in my hair and I was so happy I did, because I loved it. She also helped me tie the belt on my wedding dress perfectly the day of the wedding. Brittany is fantastic and very talented! I immediately felt comfortable with her at my hair/makeup trial (which was at my own house) because of her friendly, hilarious, and chill personality. Not only did she listen to my ideas and show me two different and beautiful hairstyles, she also took excellent photos of each style in the outdoor light so I could have a reference later. On my wedding day, I had changed my mind about hair and the final product was exactly what I had envisioned. My makeup was also very well done... natural but glamorous. Brittany was an absolute pro about my hair and wedding make up.
She takes critiques well and works to give you the look you want if you vocalize your feelings without being defensive or offended.
My ideas about what I wanted changed over the course of working with her, and she was always professional and informed about what she can do to make me feel my absolute best.
She ordered in brown eyelashes so my look didn't feel too severe, she spelled out exactly what I need to cut my hair to do to get the look I want (and said she'd bring her shears and do it for me if my hairstylist didn't do it right), she really went above and beyond to make sure I looked and felt great.
She's a whiz on the day, knocking out stunning hair and make up so quickly, and her payment structure is very reasonable, and easily accommodates if bridal party members pay for their own services.

Brittany was GREAT!!! I took a while to decide and even at first thought I was going to go a different route because of pricing. I'm so glad I chose her!! She did 6 makeup applications as well as my hair last minute when my other hair stylist cancelled 5 days before! She was on-time and very professional. She had fun with my attendants and they all looked like themselves but much more glamorous. My mom was so impressed and wants to redo all of her makeup to the products that Brittany used. My makeup stayed even until the next morning. I will definitely use her for any upcoming special events.

Brittany is so easy going and great at what she does. I had my hair and make up done by her, as well as a few of my bridal party members.

I was a little worried at the trial because there was an issue with my hair staying up, but as soon as I addressed it with her, Brittany found a solution and it was perfect on the wedding day! She put together some amazing colours for my make-up, keeping with my slightly dramatic but neutral request and she did an amazing job. Truly worth every penny!

Brittany is classy, fun, and very talented. She was absolutely amazing to work with, one of our best vendors for the entire wedding! Not only is she amazingly talented at hair and make-up, she is professional, flexible, and makes you feel entirely comfortable around her. She is a fantastic communicator and responds extremely quickly to emails and makes sure she answers all your questions and concerns (so if you have any, ask away!)

I liked her immediately when I first met her for my trial. She worked hard to make my vision come true, and even with last minute unpredicted schedule changes and make-up changes, she was more than willing to work with me and adjust as I needed on my big day (which is more than I can say for other vendors). You can tell that is important to Brittany for her clients to be satisfied. I really appreciated that she came to my home for the trial, as I had been doing so much traveling for so many other vendors. She went above and beyond and made me look and feel more beautiful than I imagined for my wedding day, and did the same for my mother and bridesmaid. My look lasted all night and the touch up lip color was extremely helpful after all the fun kissing photos!

I truly enjoyed spending time getting ready with her as well, which is surprisingly (or not) a very important aspect of one’s wedding day. Brittany allowed me to relax and de-stress. She is worth every penny, I could not encourage you more to use Brittany for your wedding!!

Brittany was the best! The most important thing about getting your hair and makeup for your wedding day is how you look in the end, and let me say, I felt like a million bucks! I wear makeup and style my hair every day, but there's just something special about having a PROFESSIONAL do it that really makes a big difference, especially in photos. I'm in my late 20s and Brittany knew exactly how to balance making me look sophisticated, but still young and fresh. I specifically wanted someone who had an eye for what I was looking for, which is why I picked Brittany in the first place. Also just FYI -- she came loaded with a suitcase of supplies with top brands and just about every color MAC makes, so when I mean professional, this girl has got it down!

I opted to do the trial about a week before my wedding to give us time to decide on everything -- in the end, I really didn't need it, but I'm DEFINITELY glad I did. The biggest reason was that the day of the wedding my head was 15 other places while I was getting ready, but I had total faith in Brittany to execute what I wanted without me even watching. Boom. That was worth it all right there to not have the stress day of. I knew I would look just as gorgeous as she had made me in the trial.

My last big rave about Brittany is that she's an adorable and kind person. She was so helpful to chime in when we had a total flower crisis during the trial, offering suggestions since she has experience with weddings. And she made me laugh the whole time, she was just like one of the girls. We liked her so much I decided to get all my bridesmaids fake eyelashes the day of, something fun to spring for and she puts them on very well, didn't look fake at all.

You really can't go wrong with Brittany, I got so many compliments on my look, she really was one of the best decisions we made in our wedding!

So happy with Brittany!

Even with a last minute change of plans on my grooms side that had to move our appointment up from 2 Pm to 8:30 AM (THAT'S A HUGE DIFFERENCE), a change of location, and some changes to bridal party plans for hair and make up, Brittany came through with a smile and jokes and made my wedding day start off on a fantastic note. She really is amazing, her work is phenomenal, and I could not have been happier with the end result (especially since the hair style we ended up going with was not the one we did at my trial!).

I can't give Brittany enough stars. She has great prices, convenient a-la-carte pricing, and doesn't charge extra for fake lashes or super thick/long hair. Not only that, but she is one of the nicest people I have ever met! She let me schedule my trial the same day as my engagement pictures so that I could look fab for that, and even took my hair down so that it would look different in my pictures than what I wanted for my wedding day. This girl KNOWS how to do make-up that will photograph well, and comes to you to do her amazing work. She even looked at my Pinterest boards ahead of time to see what kind of look I was going for, and absolutely nailed it. Brittany was cracking my whole family up and I felt like we had been friends forever even though we had just met. I couldn't have put my hair/make-up in better hands for my big day, and I had full confidence that she would do a phenomenal job (and she did!) My sisters and I all have super thick hair that takes a long time to style and she didn't care or complain one bit. She even helped cover a scar on my sister's leg and gave us lip-gloss for touch-ups. I absolutely will be recommending her to anyone I know who is getting married! Brittany is the bomb!

Brittany is talented, she's ridiculously good at her job ( and everyone else's too! my florist was a no show and Brittany helped arrange 17 centerpieces and 5 bouquets on top of making me and my maids look beautiful...yeah, I know). She brought out confidence in me that I had thought I never even had, I was me 2.0, I didn't feel fake, or overdone.She took all of my incessant rambling and pinterest photo hoarding and created a look unique to me and my vision.
I just couldn't possibly say enough AMAZING things about this lady. I don't know what I would've done without her on my wedding day to put it simply.

Brittany Slaughter is an absolute class act! She is truly amazing at what she does and makes you feel like you are her one and only client! She is a true professional of her craft, and her bubbly personality helped to ease nerves on my wedding day.

Brittany did the hair for my wedding, and she did an amazing job!!! She was so quick and efficient, and everyone absolutely loved their hairstyles! My hair turned out just like I wanted, and Brittany was so much fun to have as part of our day getting ready! She was also awesome during my hair trial-she drove about 45 min-an hour to come up to our house to accommodate us during a busy weekend! Her prices are really reasonable, and I would definitely recommend her to anyone! Thank you Brittany!!!

Brittany was so great to work with! She put up with all the times I changed my mind so gracefully, and always worked with me to get the look I wanted. She is so sweet, and made me look just the way I wanted for my wedding day. I got so many compliments, and felt so beautiful. Brittany is amazing and truly talented! She made me look exactly how I wanted on my special day and I am eternally thankful!!
Brittany did my trial run about a week before my wedding day. She came to my house and was on time and very professional. I was amazed at not only how well she is in both hair and makeup but how fast she was able to do it all. That was a huge plus for me because I had a brunch wedding so I was very strapped on time.
On the morning of my wedding Brittany came to the hotel at 6am that we were staying at and did both my bridesmaids hair along with my mothers and my hair and makeup. All the guests at my wedding were in awe over how good not only I looked but how well their styles complemented mine,
I would recommend Brittany to anyone looking for bridal hair and makeup, you wont be disappointed!

I can't say enough good things about Brittany. She did an amazing job on not only me but all of the ladies in my wedding. Each and every lady looked flawless but still retained "their" look instead of looking the same. Brittany is such a lovely person as well, she is truly a gifted artist and beautiful person all around. We laughed and joked while she worked on us all and we all felt very comfortable with her, even my 6 year old daughter who was the flower girl!

This review is being provided by the mother of the bride.

Brittany did a great job on all the ladies in the wedding party. The bride and maid of honor are both really into fashion and make-up, and they loved Brittany's work.

Even more important to me, the bride's little sister (one of the bridesmaids) is not nearly as much into makeup and hairstyle - much more of a "natural" girl. Brittany spent a little time finding out what she liked, and produced a look that really made her happy.

Last of all, I really was not looking forward to being "made up" for the wedding. I wanted to feel natural and comfortable and not like my eyes were sticking together and my hair feeling too "tall". Brittany did a great job on my makeup, balancing between the bride (who wanted me really made up) and me (who felt like less is more). The bride loved my look and I felt completely comfortable in my "demi-lashes" and natural looking makeup. My hair was an upgraded version of what I would do, and I was very happy with it.

Anybody who can navigate a style that makes the fashionista bride and the natural look mom happy is very good at reading people.

I highly recommend Brittany to accomplish the look you want for your event.

There are so many amazing things I can say about Brittany, I don't even know where to begin! I spoke to several hair / makeup artists and confirmed with Brittany on the phone, before hanging up, that she was my girl. Not only is she sweet and personable, she is genuinely excited to share these moments with you. Furthermore, her prices are amazing and she rocks a makeup brush and curling iron like it's nobody's business! I instantly felt like I knew her for years and have every intention on staying in touch when I go back to Denver.

Living in Austin, Brittany was always super responsive via email to coordinate our sessions together and never thought twice about coming to me (wherever I was in the Denver metro) with any sort of ridiculous fees for parking and whatnot. I felt like a beauty queen each time I left Brittany's capable hands and my abs were usually a little bit firmer from laughing so hard (bonus points!). I had 11 girls get their hair / makeup done the wedding day and we all looked like glamorous babes, even the ones that had 8 am sessions! Highly recommending Brittany is an understatement. She is AMAZING!

Loved Brittany!! She has the personality to back up GREAT style and beuatiful looks. Everyone in my wedding party looked AMAZING thanks to her, and their looks stayed all night (even in the rain!!) OMG By far Brittany was the best!! I was so shocked at how she made me look!! I did the airbrush make up, It lasted all night and was flawless!! My photos don't even need to be touched up! Ill even admit I loved my makeup so much I slept in it! still looked great in the morning! I planned everything from out of state- She was so easy to work with, she was on time, great to talk with, and knows what she's doing! She is worth every penny and more! I highly recommend her to every bride!!

Don't bother wasting your time looking elsewhere for hair and makeup like I did, I ended up doing 3 trials with 3 different hair/makeup people until I i found brittany. she did an amazing job catering to exactly what i wanted and also made the perfect recommendations for what we should tweak a little and for what would look best with all elements in mind (dress, weather, everything!!) the hairpiece she customized for me was just the cherry on top! i looked my very best, and i have her to thank!

Brittany is a Bridal Godsend, take my word for it. I flew in a week before my wedding for my hair and makeup trial(that I scheduled super last minute), she fit me into her busy schedule and invited me to her home for my Trial because my hotel room was a madhouse, she went over everything and explained the steps she was taking and what products would work the best for my skin, she designed a completely unique hairstyle for me and went above and beyond and created a gorgeous hair piece for me since I wasnt having any luck finding one that I liked.i left on cloud 9. Come wedding day, my wedding had a few little snares along the way, the florist never showed and one of my bridesmaids got severe food poisoning the day of. In the middle of all the crazy that was going on, Brittany was the calm in the middle of the storm! Not only did she make me and my maids look absolutely perfect but she helped keep our nerves under control. We didn't have to worry about looking our best, because she was all over making us beautiful and she helped throw together some flowers at the last minute! LIFE SAVER! She's just so awesome...and her baby is real cute as well ;) She deserves every bit of success coming her way!

Brittany traveled to Granby for my wedding, and met me in Denver for my trial hair and makeup. She was absolutely attentive, professional, and fun to work with at the same time. She also responded very quickly to any questions or concerns I had, and had no problems making changes when I had a couple requests. She's a great gal and I totally recommend her.

I wish I could give Brittany a 10 out of 5! She made me more beautiful then I could have ever hoped and I was so comfortable (which is saying something for a girl who never wears makeup!) in fact she did such a great job at my trial my bridesmaids and moms had her do their makeup the day of the wedding. Everyone knows that how everyone will look in your wedding pictures is a brides biggest fear but thanks to Brittany we were all picture perfect. I would gladly Reccomend anyone to this talented lady for their special event and plan to use her anytime I need a little beautification!

I am soooo thankful I was referred to Brittany by a past client of hers, I am not someone who even wears so much as mascara day to day, but wanted to make sure I looked polished and put together for my wedding.
We did the trial and I was a little skeptical of the intensity of the makeup but she was adamant that things are a little different in photography elements and in pictures and in person, I would look nothing less than perfect, and she was right! Come the day of my wedding I looked awesome, felt amazing and to this day still get compliments on how beautiful I looked.

Both my professional photos and the photos that my guests took, I looked exactly the way asked her to make me look. Flawless, but not in an overdone obvious way.I looked like a more beautiful version of myself, and I truly cant thank her enough for that.

Getting my hair and makeup done professionally was something that I never really though was necessary, Im so glad I didnt skimp on this. You'll never know what a convenience it is to have someone worry about you being beautiful FOR you, when you've got 100 other things going on in that Bridal head of yours.

Brittany is so delightful and accommodating!
Her rates are incredibly reasonable for the amazing service you get and my entire family and bridal party were just as amazed with both her skill and personality! To this day, I have never looked so good, I wish I could have her get me ready for everyday!

Brittany instantly puts you at ease. We were running late for our engagement session (which she drove to the middle of Nowhere, Nebraska to shoot) and a little stressed, but she calmed us down and we had a wonderful shoot. I also loved having her as my wedding photographer. She was very organized and willing to help with details well outside of her job description. Our photos are absolutely beautiful and really capture the happenings and spirit of the day. We didn't have very many formal pics of just my husband and I looking at the camera, but I'm sure had made a point to say we wanted/needed some that she would have made it happen.

Where do I even begin!? Brittany is AMAZING!!! From the very start, Brittany was super on top of everything. She responds to all emails in a timely manner and showed up to my wedding day trial early. She is so much fun to be around, hilarious and we instantly hit it off. After my trial, she had no problem making changes to my day-of look and continued to be dependable and responsive with all emails. The day of my wedding was perfect! Brittany once again showed up early and ready to take on 8 womens makeup! All of my bridesmaids LOVED her have been raving ever since. She made me look and feel so incredibly beautiful on my wedding day! Her pricing is very reasonable and she even includes a lipstick the day of. I will continue to recommend Brittany and her services to everyone I know! I couldnt have been any happier to have used her on my wedding day and the rest of my bridesmaid agree. I looked phenomenal on my wedding day thank to this little gem of a stylist! She's truly amazing and is actually educated and so so so talented!

The only reason I gave her a 4.5 on flexibility was because I got married on the most popular day to get married in 2011, 9/10/11. EVERYONE was completely booked venues, caterers, photographers, and Brittany was no exception, She did her absolute best to get us in on such short notice (a week and a half...oops) she arrived at our location on time and went about her beautifying as if we were her only clients for the day, then was cleaned up and ready to go giving us 30 minutes to breathe before we started photos!

I couldn't have asked for a better experience, really.

I had Brittany do my hair and makeup for my wedding, and I was really disappointed. The run through we had weeks before the wedding she did a great job, but she didn't do so well the day of the wedding. She showed up the day of the wedding at 6:30am (I had a morning wedding)saying she stayed up all night. Ummm.. really?? It showed in her work with my makeup fading off soon after the ceremony, and my hair becoming uncurled not even 30 minutes after we got done with the hair. A bunch of my photos were ruined due to the hair and makeup problems and I spent a good portion of my time trying to curl my hair in the dressing room. I forgot to bring makeup to the wedding venue, so I was screwed on that side. For as much as I paid, I feel like I should not have had to worry about that. I would not recommend using Brittany.

Half of the business is good

I have waited to write this review until a year after our wedding to give Alchemy the benefit of the doubt to possibly repair this situation. Firstly, the photography side of the business is great. Good quality photos and a good engagement session. Unfortunately, I trusted Brittany too much after seeing our engagement pictures and how great they were, and took her suggestion to use the videography side of Alchemy for our wedding day. The wedding pictures were still great. But the video was awful. The first time I watched it I literally cried in disbelief. It was 10 minutes long, shot from the ground-up angle, heads chopped off, choppy music, shots of the parking lot and empty water glasses, and a few sentences that should have been our vows but you couldn’t understand them. Even a few shots with the photographer in them. Each shot was only a few seconds long and it looks like it was taken on an iPhone. I understand the videography is a newer side to the business but I would have hired someone more experienced if I knew how bad the video would have been. The worst part...I emailed Brittany expressing my concerns and NEVER got a response. Not the best business tactics in my opinion. And then they have the guts to use a shot from our wedding video on the front page of the videography section on their website...but not even post our video on the site because of how terrible it is. My advice, use them for photography or nothing at all. Also, if you have an issue, don’t expect a response. Highly disappointing/ unprofessional.
