Amy was absolutely incredible. She ran the whole day with calm professionalism while still feeling warm and personal. The Best Photographer We Could Have Asked For

I can’t sing the praises of Amy and Al Gawlik Photography enough!!! She was absolutely incredible in every way. She showed up early with a great attitude, got started right away, and knew exactly what she was doing with a fierce confidence that immediately made me feel comfortable and let me know I chose the right person to capture our special day. And then when we got the pictures, I couldn’t help but cry. They are all so beautiful and that’s coming from someone who is the least photogenic person so ever exist. I felt beautiful on the day, but the pictures really showed it. She knew where to shoot, how to have us pose, and what people to have in what pictures to make sure everyone was involved. These photos mean so much to me and my family and I will cherish them forever. Chapel Dulcinea

Amy was so amazing! My husband and I had a very small family only wedding at Chapel Dulcinea and had the pleasure of having Amy as our photographer. She very very flexible and able to work with us within our budget. She was able to capture everything we wanted in 1 hour. She was great at telling everyone what to do, how to pose, when to come in or move out, etc. She was very friendly and made us feel so comfortable. We will definitely be considering her for any future needs!

I found Amy on the Knot and she was very responsive immediately. She was professional and she really made us feel good the day of the ceremony. Amy is the most incredible photographer I have ever had the pleasure of working with. She made everyone comfortable and added humor to the shoot to put us all at ease. Every time I see her photos I am able to see all the authentic emotions that were present that day. Amy Lynn was super easy to work with, both during planning and day of. We initially picked her based on online review, because her price was fair and we wanted the digital copies of all of the photos. Amy is the best!

I could not be happier with our experience with Amy. Her work speaks for itself, her photos are absolutely breathtaking. The speed and quality of her editing is astonishing. She was so flexible--she worked within our budget, as well as our various changes in plans over quarantine. She made my husband and I, both generally quite camera shy, feel comfortable and look so happy in every picture. And the details she caught really captured the personality and vibrance of the small reception we held. Amy is a rockstar!

She is seriously the best! We could not have asked for a better situation on our wedding day. Not to mention, she was so accommodating when we had to move our original wedding date to another date. She was very responsive throughout the entire process and was so easy to work with. We literally had so much fun shooting with her during the day. She kept things light, joked around with us but was also in complete control when we were doing our group shots. Absolutely Break-taking Photos!

Such an amazing Boudoir experience!

Since I can remember I have always wanted to do a boudoir session. And when I got engaged, I knew that having a boudoir shoot would be the perfect gift for my husband. As a coordinator in the wedding industry for 15 years, when it came time to plan my own wedding and hire vendors for it, it was really important to me to choose vendors that I had a personal relationship with and who were among the top 1% in the industry for what they do. I never even considered anyone else to do my boudoir photos because of how phenomenal Amy Scarborough with Betty Blue Boudoir (AL Gawlik) is at what she does. I chose to have my session on the same day as my hair and makeup trial run, but her packages do have hair and makeup included in them as well. She helped me ahead of time choose the correct outfits so I felt confident before I ever arrived. The location that she shoots in is absolutely perfect! And don't even get me started on the amazing robes she has available for you to use! I had actually been extremely sick for days leading up to my shoot but once I arrived she helped put my mind at ease and never rushed me. And once we started shooting, she was absolutely perfect at helping to direct me, putting me in poses that made me feel beautiful and sexy and helped accentuate my assets, and was a master at helping me feel completely at ease. And the photos turned out 100 times better than I could have ever dreamed! After the fact, she was so quick in the turnaround time of my photos and helped me every step of the way with choosing photos and helping to design the album which, in addition to the additional prints and awesome packaging, turned out perfectly. My husband still tells me that it was the best gift that he has ever been given! For all of the brides out there looking for a boudoir photographer who will not only provide you with the most breathtaking photos, but will also make the entire process so easy and seamless, look no further than Betty Blue Boudoir! And thank you Amy for making me truly feel like the most beautiful woman and for helping me surprise Bryan with the best gift. The photos are beyond stunning and so much more than I could have ever imagined them to be!!

Best Wedding Photographer in Texas AND beyond! She travels!

There is NO other person on this planet than Amy who I would rather capture life's most important moments that will last for generations beyond when I am still on this earth.

Amy has taken my both professional and personal photos for me. She goes ABOVE and BEYOND in capturing YOUR vision.

Amy took photos of me with my 90yr old Grandmother. I used to have tea with my Grandmother when I was a little girl. I wanted to relive this moment many years later while I am still lucky enough to have my Grandmother around. Some day I plan to hang these photos in my daughter's nursery.

Amy is SO good at seeing the perfect shot. She captures moments nobody other than her can even see. She is also so friendly and personable and VERY good with children and pets.

Every time I shoot with her nothing feels awkward and I am always beyond pleased with the results.

Amy is the best!

Amy did a fantastic job at my recent wedding in Dripping Springs! I cannot say enough great things about her! She is a true pro and is efficient, a complete pleasure to work with and is super talented. We did a package with Amy which included engagement pics along with the wedding day pics - she put everyone at ease and the photos came out natural and beautifully. Plus she turned the wedding pics around within just a few short weeks - a lot faster than most! She knows the shots she wants and she doesn’t waste anyone’s time and we loved how she effectively aims to capture the natural moments vs. mostly posed pics. Amy is wonderful and we had many guests commenting how lovely she was day of the wedding as well!

We got married in September & unfortunately my hair was a complete disaster. I paid over $800 for the hair style not including the extensions or accessories only to be completely disappointed with the outcome. Our wedding photographer wouldn't meet us to take a few redo photos before my bouquet died and in a panic I reached out to Amy. She not only made a special trip to Georgetown from Dripping but delivered beautiful images to us within a day. She instructed us on how to pose, took her time to make sure we were comfortable in front of the camera and was an absolute pleasure to work with! I've since gotten to work with her many times and each time she is as awesome as the last! You will LOVE her relaxed personality, her direction and her eye for detail.

Amy Lynn is a great photographer and it was such a pleasure to meet her. We loved our photos! I am so glad we chose Amy to photograph our wedding! Our photos are gorgeous and better than we could have imagined. She also had a way of making everyone in the wedding party feel so comfortable while taking the photos. Amy also took my bridal photos, which turned out absolutely amazing!

She made everything so easy and we received our photos quickly (3 weeks for the wedding photos and a few days for the bridals). I cannot stress enough what a great decision it was to hire Amy. If you are considering using Amy for your wedding, do it, it’s worth it.

Amy was utterly phenomenal. I cannot say enough wonderful things about both the incredible photos of our wedding or how truly splendid she was to be around / work with. She was incredibly easy to communicate with, so much fun to be around, and managed to keep me smiling and mellow on an otherwise chaotic day. It really was like having another of my friends along with us for the day. Our wedding day was hit by a huge storm and we had to shift our plans / locations last minute. Amy managed to make our rain drenched, flooded day look amazing in pictures and captured so many breathtaking images and moments. She playfully engaged guests, getting even the shyest of our friends on film hamming it up, and also managed to keep a smile and gracefully handle even the most challenging of our family members who could be a bit overbearing where it came to the wedding. Later on, we got to know her a bit better during a post-wedding portrait shoot we hadn't had time to schedule pre-wedding. She's such enjoyable company and so much fun to be around! Everything about Al Gawlik was perfect. Her communication leading up to the wedding was great, she was professional, and most importantly, got 100's of wonderful photos! She was all over the wedding without being noticed. The portraits were great, several creative ideas, plus the traditional ones. I would highly recommend!

We got our pictures back 2-3 weeks after our wedding (so fast!) and we're already thinking of all the future occasions we could use Amy for. Amy did our engagement photos and they turned out fantastic. We originally booked her to do our wedding as well, but due to extenuating circumstances she had to step out, but before doing so she provided us with a list of photographers that were all available for our date and gave us our engagement session for free. She was very light and easy going at our session and made two kind of awkward people who hate pictures look amazing. I can't stop looking at them. I definitely hope to use her again in the future.

When I got engaged I booked Amy as soon as I could! The photographer is one of the most important wedding vendors and I wanted the best. She shot my engagement photos, bridals and my wedding day. I can't say enough good things about Amy... our wedding pictures were INCREDIBLE! Absolutely perfect and truly unique. I knew I wanted her because of her expertise in natural and soft lighting, and she didn't disappoint. Our wedding ceremony was outside and a good portion of our reception was too. My love for Amy Gawlik runs deep – really deep. Amy is a blessing. She is single handedly the biggest reason why my wedding/renewal was such an overwhelming success and a big fat party. It's one thing for someone to take breath taking photos (which she does) but the way Amy handles herself - with complete poise, grace and precision, it goes without saying she did and is continuing to do incredible work. For some brides, choosing a photographer is difficult. For me, I had no doubt selecting Amy as my photographer, after seeing her work I knew that she would capture my wedding day and make it look like the fairytale of my dreams. The day went by so fast and I didn’t even notice Amy there, she just blended in and captured all the moments. When it comes to selecting vendors for your wedding, perhaps the most overwhelming category is photography simply due to the number of options available. You will want to do your research because after the big day has flown by, the pictures are what you have to last your lifetime. So, you want to choose someone who will capture those moments beautifully for you. I can’t think of anyone who does it better than Al Gawlik Photography.

Amy did not miss a beat at my wedding. When I told her I wanted to show her all my little details like shoes and menu cards – she had already gotten amazing shots of it all! My family was completely at ease with her as she gave excellent direction for formal shots, and was somehow almost invisible for captive shots. Her artistic contribution really shows in every single picture. And, she really pays attention to your own personal style, and uses that to guide her choices. I could not be happier with the photos from the most important day of my life so far, and I could not recommend her services highly enough. I’m a fan for life!

Amy with AL Gawlik Photography is the most amazing photographer by far! If I have one piece of advise for brides it is that you want to get the best photographer around! These images are something you will have forever and look back on, you don't want to cut yourself short and not pick the best photographer. Amy is a people person, she made us feel very comfortable. Five start doesn't make justice. Amy is great!! I have a specific vision in mind for my wedding pictures, after tons of research I new that Al Gawlik photography was the one, after a call and couple of emails, I knew I was making the right choice, she work with my schedule and budget. Since I was coming from out of state, we never meet until the day of the wedding, I was so nervous, not only my weeding day, but I have to take pictures and I'm not a model .After 2 minutes she made us feel so comfortable and confident, that you don't even think about anymore, she new the venue and what would make our pictures looking amazing. She did more than she was even supposed to do just to make sure we had the best pictures ever. She gave us the pictures so fast,that my family that is overseas was able to enjoy sooner that we expected. all our friend and families has said that the photos are beautiful. her level of service, professionalism and care show on every picture, from first look, getting ready, ceremony, reception and some amazing shoots she suggested.

Where do I begin? Amy is absolutely INCREDIBLE. She did my now husband and I's engagement photos, my bridal portraits, and our wedding photography. We could not be happier! She has a keen eye for the details and really knows how to capture the moment. Her photography is very "soft and natural" which was what initially intrigued me about her work. Not to mention she is reliable, a good listener in hearing your "vision" (and she makes that vision happen), and an all around fun loving person. You obviously want a talented photographer capturing such important moments in your life but we often overlook the fact that you want to work with someone who is enjoyable to be around during this whole process! Amy is exactly that and more. I also had 3 malfunctions with my computer in opening up my final pictures (not her fault my computer kept wiping them out!). She re-mailed me the photos 3 times, and all 3 times they were beautifully wrapped... Wow!!

Amy is absolutely amazing! She took our engagement and wedding photos. I even worked with her on a boudoir photo session to give as a gift to my husband. My husband and I have never had professional photos taken so we were feeling nervous that first time in front of the camera but Amy made us feel so comfortable and gave us great direction. Amy was incredibly easy to work with from the very beginning! Amy was an absolute pleasure to work with and I truly could not be happier with her work. From start to finish, Amy was amazing. Her pictures are amazing! They are different than anyone else's and we have received numerous compliments. She was professional and efficient during the wedding day. I would recommend her to anyone looking for amazing photos for any event.

Amy ALWAYS captures BEAUTIFUL moments & turns them into amazing pictures. She takes your ideas while also sharing some of her own. She ALWAYS makes sure you look your BEST from your hair,make up, clothes to posing just right in the camera. She is so patient, caring & sweet. Absolutely recommend her to ANYONE && will use her in the future :)

Loved working with Amy! She wasn't available on our wedding day but did our engagements and my bridals and I could not have been more happy with how everything turned out. She is so talented!!! I love her vision and style. And while my husband isn't one to love taking pictures, Amy made us both feel comfortable and everything went great. We will cherish those pictures forever.

Amy was an incredible photographer and captured priceless photos throughout our wedding that we will cherish for a lifetime. Amy is so genuine and displayed such compassion to us and to our family. Everyone loved her. I could not imagine a better photographer. I would recommend Amy to anyone!

I can't rave enough about Amy at Al Gawlik Photography! My husband and I were SO happy with all of the pictures from our engagement session and wedding. They were beautifully shot and the quality was amazing. Amy made us feel so comfortable and really understood the style we wanted. She was professional, fun, and so efficient. We had a large wedding party and she handled everyone like pro! She deserves more than 5 stars!

Amy deserves 6 out of 5 stars, She is absolutely amazing and I feel so fortune to have met her on the upswing of her career. We hired Amy to shoot our destination wedding in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. I so glad we did, Amy was one of the best parts of my wedding. Even though she was non-stop working, she is so personable and delightful all my friends and family committed about how nice she was to work with.

As a bride you have a lot of personal emotional things going on with your groom, friends and parents and you want to have someone who feels like your friend along the way. And beyond that I didn't have a wedding coordinator, so I asked her a lot of basic questions and advice and she just became part of my team supporting me to make it happen.

Our pictures turned out immaculate, my mom says its like watching a beautiful movie. Every single shot was complimentary and warm to who we were as a couple.

Now I'm just trying to find new future reasons to use Amy again.

I LOVED my photographer for my bridals and wedding day. She knows how to get beautiful pictures in any situation! My only regret is that I didn't have her take our engagement photos. I'm sure those would have been great as well!

I could not be any happier with our photographer from our wedding on May 4, 2013. Amy is so talented and truly gifted at what she does. When we first met her at our engagement shoot, she made us feel so at ease. Our engagement photos and wedding photos turned out so amazing! Friends are constantly asking me who did our photos because they want to book her for their weddings now. She also is very quick to get your photos back to you! She had the engagement photos back to us within the same week, and the wedding photos (since there were a lot more) were back to us within two weeks. She is amazing, talented, fun, and I'd be more than happy to recommend her to any of my friends and family!

When looking for a wedding photographer, I was interested in finding someone that would not only be affordable, but someone who would photograph the wedding with a vintage modern style. I found Amy by looking through multiple wedding websites, and she became one of my top choices because her reviews were wonderful and her photographs on her website were absolutely stunning. My husband and I then interviewed several people in the Austin area with similar photography styles, but ultimately we decided on Amy because not only did she have amazing photos to support her quality work, but she also has a sweet personality.
Since we live in Houston, we had to do a lot of coordination via email and Amy was always so professional, timely, and responsive with all of our correspondence. We did my bridal portraits at Pecan Springs Ranch, and she did such an amazing job!!! I could not have been happier with these photos. She made me feel comfortable during the photo shoot, and she was so easy to work with.
Our wedding day went just the same way. She was very professional, and her assistant Ben was just as amazing. Everyone commented on how nice both of them were. Our wedding photos were delivered to us via email wihtin 2 weeks. Having a website available for multiple family members and friends to view and download the wedding photos on their own also made it so easy to share them!! There were a few photos that I wanted Amy to touch up of myself and she was easily available by email. She touched up all of the photos that I requested immediately and emailed them back to me. Overall, evey single one of the wedding pictures came out just gorgeous, and I could not have imagined having any other photographer other than Amy. She is an extremely talented photographer and just a truly amazing person!! I will definitely be asking Amy to photograph us in the future!!

To say that my husband and I were pleased with the service we received from Amy of Al Gawlik Photography would be a huge understatement!! We had an amazing experience with her. Amy shot our engagement photos, my bridals, and our wedding day. All three were so much fun! My husband was pretty nervous going into our engagement session but Amy's fun, outgoing personality helped to ease his nerves and we had a blast! The pictures were the most important part of our wedding day for us, as this is the only thing we'll have to look back on in the years to come. Amy captured every little detail with such beautiful photos! Our wedding day went by so quickly and afterwards everything was a blur. When I looked at the photos for the first time, I cried. They were so beautiful! Amy captured every emotion of the day. Every time I look at our photos I think of how fun our wedding day was! I am SO glad we hired Amy to be there on our day because now we have amazing photos to look at for years to come! Amy's professionalism is top notch and her customer service is outstanding! I originally hired Amy for my bridal portraits because after looking at her website I couldn't stop thinking about how beautiful her work was and I knew her style fit right into my own. She did such an amazing job on my Bridals and she was so easy to work with that I knew I had to have her shoot my wedding as well. Amy was very professional and more than reasonable on her prices. Even before the wedding started you could tell that she really connected with the guests and knew exactly where to be to catch those extra special moments.
Her eye for lighting is impeccable and her customer service is outstanding. I received my pictures within days after the event and a DVD of everything came in the mail shortly after that.
I am still getting compliments on the pictures from the wedding and will be recommending her to everyone I know.

My experience with Al Gawlick Photography was fabulously beyond words! Amy’s work speaks for itself and I was nothing short of ecstatic over the finish products! Being not very knowledgeable of the photography and for that matter the wedding world (at the time), Amy made herself there for guidance throughout the process! Her presence puts you at ease during the shoot itself and her energy and zest for you as well as the event is not something you can buy. She also brings a natural creative grace in providing instructions and ideas! I would recommend her ten times over in many different situations! I was provided with a bridal session as well as my wedding ceremony and reception from Al Gawlik Photography. In all truthfulness I do not have one thing to complain about. The service was wonderful, I have thousands of wonderful memories that I can hold onto forever now. It was made easy for us to take great pictures, by being politely told how to pose or which way looks best. Even guests at the wedding complimented us on how professional the photographer was, they loved that they were never in the way or blocking anything or any of the moments. They captured all the images and moments without stepping on anyones toes. We have a ton of images and at such a great price. I would recommend this photographer to family and friends which i already have. We are 100% pleased with every step and process that was involved. Bravo

Amy was exactly what we needed for our wedding. She was flexible, open to suggestions, prompt, professional and helpful. She stayed until the very end and even helped out throughout the evening.

Then I received the CD of images and they were mine. All of the pictures were mine to do whatever I wanted to do. It was so nice to have them all and not have to pay more money for the photos after the wedding.

Oh yeah, and the photos were great as well. Her photography is unique and very clear. There are pictures that I will look at with a smile for the rest of my life.

I can't thank Amy enough. She really made our wedding very special.

Amy was amazing and very helpful. She stayed at the wedding for what seemed like forever and every shot came out beautiful. She really captured the fun and energy of the day. Also the photos came back quickly in less than a few weeks. One friend of mine had waited over 6 months to get her pictures and they were no where close to the quality we received from Amy. Easy to work with and just a great person. Would recommend her to anyone. She also did my baby announcement photos and those were great too!
