Dj al garcia!

DJ Al Garcia absolutely killed it at our welcome party! He did so well that I was worried that our band for the wedding reception would not live up to his performance! My family is Cuban-American and we gave DJ Al a few song suggestions to give him an idea of the ambience we were going for – he did NOT disappoint! My Cuban family and American friends and in-laws were dancing all night. When he first set up, our videographer was about to leave and my husband and I were bummed because we took some salsa dancing to impress my family – we were hoping to get just a little bit on video. We thought it would take too long to get everyone dancing before we could debut our moves and that the videographer would be gone but DJ Al brought such great energy from the beginning that everyone was dancing within the first couple songs! We got the dance on video and are so grateful that we’ve gotten to watch back that specific memory. He was responsive during all of our correspondences and was extremely helpful from start to finish. Whether or not you enjoy a little Spanish music in the mix, DJ Al knows how to match your vibe and I absolutely recommend him!

If you’re looking for a DJ who is personable and has a pulse on what music gets a crowd going, look no further. Al Garcia knew what songs to play during our wedding reception. With a diverse crowd of friends and family, Al was able to play music that everyone enjoyed. If you’re having trouble deciding on a DJ, do not hesitate, choose Al. Wedding DJ- Al did an amazing job!

Kept the dance floor humming and just had an all around knowledge on the vibe of our wedding. Highly recommend for weddings or any events were a DJ is required. Very professional and quick to reply. Thanks again Al!

Best DJ in town!

DJ Al was incredible from booking to hosting our wedding! He was always responsive when asked a question and he definitely knew exactly what to play from start to finish! Very reasonably priced and very professional! Definitely would recommend to any and everyone looking for a DJ in the Sarasota area!

DJ Al Garcia Wedding Reception @ Marie Selby Gardens

Al was our DJ for our wedding on 5/27 at Marie Selby Gardens. I could tell Al has done his fair share of weddings and my wife and I were extremely pleased with Al and his services. He set up two phone calls, one to discuss the rough draft of the timeline and song choices 3 months before the wedding, followed by a phone call the week of the wedding finalizing any last minute changes. He played most, if not all, of our songs and filled the gaps with song choices that were inline with the genres we sent him. I would recommend Al for your future event. Thanks again Al!

Our Wedding

Al did a great job of keeping everyone on the dance floor all night. He was wonderful. He went with all our music. However, he didn't speak at all, which I guess most people wouldn't want him too?

Amazing DJ!

We hired DJ Al Garcia for our Indian Wedding in Sarasota and he was amazing!! He played a good mix of Bollywood and pop music. All of our guests were on the dancefloor till the very end of the night and every song was a hit, we had the best party! We had a call with Al before the wedding and he was open to any suggestions and recommendations. He executed all of our wishes flawlessly and was incredibly professional and easy to work with. We are so happy we hired DJ Al Garcia and definitely recommend!

Great Communication and Helpful

Al was absolutely a pleasure to have as a DJ at our wedding. Being bilingual he was able to cater to questions and requests from both my family as well as my now-husband’s family (as many of them speak Spanish). He knew the style of music we wanted and gave many ideas when we were stuck in picking options for certain songs. Al entertained our family and friends all night with enthusiasm, and was flexible along the way. I highly recommend hiring DJ Al Garcia for your wedding!!

Best night ever, all thanks to al!

Al was amazing. Music and dancing was very important to us, and Al delivered the ultimate dance party. I didn't leave the dance floor once. We even decided not to cut our cake because we were having so much fun on the dance floor. Al curated the music on the spot and played hit after hit. Every song prompted at least a few guests to gasp with excitement. I've been to other weddings where the DJ spoke A LOT making the vibe a bit like a nightclub (i.e. needing to hype up the crowd), but Al was professional and only inserted himself when necessary (announcing us, food/dessert being served/last song, etc.) and let the music speak for itself. Hiring Al was one of the best things we did for our wedding!

Highly recommend, he's the best!

I had a rough time planning my wedding and reception the past 12 months and Al was the easiest vendor we worked with. He's professional and did an amazing job at our wedding reception. He was fairly affordable, but because he's so good he can charge his pricing which he definitely deserves. I highly recommend him for your next event. You will not be disappointed!

The best wedding DJ ever

If you are having any trouble deciding on a DJ, just stop right now. Al is the best. I sent him some spotify playlists for each part of the wedding with some other songs and he expertly played them mixed with his own special songs. Every time I looked at the dance floor many people were there gettin down. Everyone raved about Al and our wedding wouldn’t have been perfect without him. AL GARCIA YOU ARE THE MAN!

Al Garcia was the DJ and MC at my Daughters Wedding. He is a highly professional, knowledgeable and helpful guy. We are so glad that we chose him. He met with us in person, listened to us (an important quality), gave us some great input, and executed our event flawlessly. His years of experience are apparent in everything he does. A m a z i n g!

Dealing with Al was super easy from the very beginning til last minute when I asked him to put together a bunch of special songs for us just the day before our wedding. I was so thankful he could make it work. We had 100 guests and I was so amazed to see they all had a blast. Al jumped the gun with some songs but the results were amazing: we had about 70 to 80 people dancing altogether right after our first dance and it didn't stop. We had such an incredible celebration and we're very thankful we had Al's help. He understood what we wanted and made it happen. We had so much fun we want to do it over and over again and we would definitely get Al to keep rocking.

Al was awesome - he gave us ideas to help us with our son's wedding which included a monogram and up lighting that made our venue look spectacular and not generic like some venues can look because they are a big hall. Very professional, easy to deal with and super person that we highly recommend!

Fantastic from start to finish!

Al DJ'd a wedding ceremony and reception and the experience with him could not have been better. He is a consummate professional. Al made sure to connect with the officiant and coordinators before starting so that the right people were mic'd up. During the reception he played a perfect combination of oldies and modern music that kept people dancing and having fun all night! Great experience!

Fantastic!!!

I hired DJ Al for my girlfriend's birthday party and I'll have to say I have no regrets! DJ Al did an amazing job with music selection and keeping everybody in the dance floor. Without giving him an actual music playlist, just mentioning that we're from PR, what my girlfriend liked and most of the guests were Latin, he nailed it with his music selection. He was there ahead of his contracted time to set up everything and make sure he was ready when the guests arrived and started ahead of time to warm up the party. He's extremely professional and I'll contract and/or recommend him without a doubt. GRACIAS Al por tan excelente trabajo!

Dj al garcia was the best

Al DJed at our wedding in Boca Grande Fl, and I am so thankful we hired him! He was so good at playing the songs we suggested while also reading the room and keeping the party going. He also perfectly balanced slow and fast songs. I have received so many compliments that my wedding was the most fun wedding my guests have been to, and I know that this is thankful to Al Garcia. Truly, our guests were on the dance floor all night, there were no weird lulls at all. I am so grateful, and know this would not have been possible if we did not hire Al.

We also changed our timeline of when we were cutting the cake and doing the dances very last minute, and he changed everything with ease. He was so easy to work with!

In sum, we would hire Al Garcia again in a heartbeat. He was punctual, professional, and had a real talent for reading the room and making sure that the party did not stop! We are extremely grateful to him. If Al is a vendor you are considering, do not hesitate and hire him ASAP!

My thighs are still sore!

DJ Al was nothing short of the word fantastic! From our entrance to the last song, my bride and I were on the dance floor dancing to great music. Al was professional and flexible to move ahead with the timing of our reception to get everyone moving. My proudest moment for Al is that fact that once he got everyone on the dance floor, he kept everyone on the dance floor by playing great music from our request list plus any floor request. I can honestly sit here and promise they next we are in FL, DJ Al will get a call from the Smith family!

Al is amazing

My wedding would not have been absolutely perfect without Al. Coming from outside the area, my planner recommended him and I couldn’t have been happier with her referral. He really made my wedding so special. Because my husband and I are really into music, he allowed us to give him a play list for cocktail hour and dinner that we put together ourselves. It really made the night so perfect. We got so many compliments from guests about the songs he chose during the dancing portion of the night. He definitely made it very fun! I was also writing to him up until the morning of the wedding, and he was responding right away. He is amazing and I would give him 10 stars I could!!

Al is a excellent professional DJ. He communicated with us prior to our event to make sure he had all the info he needed to do his job properly. On the day of our wedding he arrived early to set up and when faced with a surprise challenge he handled it with no problems. Al had complete control of the evening which made for a smooth reception. When it came time to dance he had everyone on the dance floor with a great selection of music. Everyone had a great time and I received lots of positive comments about Al. I would highly recommend Al and would use him again in any future event we may have.

DJ AL was very accommodating, professional, prompt and an absolute pleasure to work with.

DJ AL was incredible! We had a Spanish/English wedding and he communicated perfectly with both sides of the family. We gave a list of songs we wanted to play and different genres we wanted to hear and he did SO well mixing all that up- He had the party going all night long! We got a lot of compliments from friends and family about him! Also, we had him do uplighting in purple and it totally transformed the space. All around— do yourself a favor and pick DJ AL you won’t be disappointed. He is amazing and is always available when you need him! 20/10!!!! Thanks DJ AL!

Absolutely Perfect.

My husband and I hired Mr. Garcia for our wedding and he made the transitions so smooth. The cut off on the songs were just right as were the response times for any changes that needed to be made. There was so feed back for the microphones being used which made the speeches and ceremony so much more intimate because there were no interruptions. We loved him and would use him again for future events and recommend him to anyone looking for a DJ! Thank you so much for being apart of or special day!

DJ Al was awesome! We were concerned to select specific music as both my family and my husband's are very different. DJ Al is a paragon of professionalism who knows his business inside and out. He played exactly what we wanted, when we wanted, and got the dance party seriously bumpin'. He was easy to work with and didn't bat an eye when we asked him at the last minute to stay an extra hour. The blue up-lights he provided really set the ambiance, I highly recommend them. The most professional DJ and lighting specialist. DJ Al had the ceremony processional and recessional music down perfectly. The change from song to song was smooth and flawless. The same goes for the reception entrance for the parents, bridal party, and my husband and I! You could hear DJ Al say everyone's names clearly so we knew exactly when it was our time to walk out. Not only that, but he did do a quick run through with everyone 5 minutes before we went in; simple and super effective. We looked great! We had microphones where we needed microphones (for our speech and the toasts), the music was spot on cue for our first dance. DJ Al kept in touch with us all throughout the night to keep things moving along. When it was time to do the parent dances, to our anniversary dance, cake cutting and the sparkler send off, we had everyone knowing what was going on and where due to DJ
Al's magical ability to capture the entire audience and get them to do what he said! It was fantastic! My father in law also decided to make a speech last minute and DJ Al was able to make it happen streamlessly without issue! Everyone was dancing all night! And not just because of the great beats, including the 30 songs we requested, but because the lighting was set for partying and dancing all night long! We had a pink and mint theme so pink lighting was used. It provided an elegant touch and allowed everyone to see each other all night. No reason to look anywhere else for your DJ or lighting needs!

Al was so wonderful to work with! We had a destination wedding and were not able to meet in person before our wedding but Al spent several hours on the phone with us during the planning process answering all of our questions and going through our very very specific song requests. He kept everyone dancing all night and when my 7 year old son requested a specific song he played it next and made him feel very special!! He worked very well with our live musicians to make the transitions between cocktails/dinner/reception flawless!! Al Garcia was so amazing. He didn't hesitate to call me and make sure everything was squared away before the wedding. He got in contact with my brother to ensure that he had the right music for the dance my brother wanted to do. He arrived a few hours before the wedding and immediately started setting up. Al did an exceptional job at our wedding at the Dali Museum (both ceremony and reception)! We were planning from out of town so his rapid responsiveness was very much appreciated. And as we were novice wedding planners, Al's insight and advice on set up, schedule and logistics, etc was extremely useful.

We provided a "no play list" which Al followed successfully. Additionally we provided a partial play list (it did not fill entire time) to give Al an idea of our preference for music which largely avoided traditionally-overplayed artists and songs you always hear at weddings. A couple songs slipped through that didn't necessarily mesh with the indication we provided, but given how broad the partial list we provided was (all kinds of genres and time periods) and Al's goal to keep a lot of diverse groups of people dancing all night (which he succeeded in) - a couple were bound to slip through.

Overall a great DJ who we highly recommended!

Definitely take the time to meet with Al and share your vision with him. He's was open to anything and when it came down to the day of the wedding, he did a great job. Being a busy bride, my fiance and I booked Al Garcia based on, in order, 1) recommendation from our wedding planner, 2) his reviews online, and 3) our gut feeling upon meeting him. WE ARE SO GLAD WE DID! I cannot tell you how incredible his music was - he had us all dancing the entire time (I'm not exaggerating - we danced for hours straight - everyone!), and when the bride (me ;-) and groom were finally tired and needed to end it, he gently moved everyone into the last dance perfectly. Was worried about how things we going to go having a wedding in Florida while living in Ohio and only my wife being able to come down for a few days until right before the wedding. I highly recommend Al as your wedding DJ. I planned my entire wedding from afar and he was able to accommodate my every need. I was truly impressed. Every detail and request was accommodated. We asked for country music during dinner, speeches, etc and as the night progressed Andrew party started so did the tempo of the music. Most importantly though, he stayed on schedule and made sure the flow of the wedding stayed on point. There is nothing worse then weddings that drag on all night. He was all over it. A true professional. I would highly recommend you book Al ASAP and discontinue your search.

Al was the DJ for our wedding reception at the Lido Beach Resort on January 1, 2016 as well as provided the music and sound for our ceremony on the beach. He added the perfect finishing touch to it all! He was professional and listened to guests and our requests. I can't tell you how much we enjoyed our perfect day and how fun our party, I mean reception was after! Al was prompt in responding to me via email as I am 1,000+ miles away and even created a unique mix to songs as I requested. I would give two thumbs up awesome and affordable!

DJ Al Garcia was absolutely amazing! Not one thing we can even think of to complain about. We met with him the week before and went over everything. The day of the event went super smooth. No problems or issues, it was perfect. He played every song we had on our list and kept the party going all night. The dance floor stayed packed all night and we really couldn't have asked for anything more. Thanks so much for making our night so special!

Al Garcia was a true professional throughout the entire planning process for our reception. He was very easy going, knew when to provide a recommendations of what might make the music experience better. During the reception, Al Garcia knew how to read the crowd and modify the type of music he played accordingly. The dance floor remained full all night. My wife and I received a number of complements about the music at our wedding and we have Al Garcia to thank for that!

Al was the absolute BEST! He was one of the first vendors we booked, and we couldn't have been more pleased. He handled my last minute changes with no problem. He always responded to my emails and calls quickly. Just by giving him a couple of songs, he completely "got" our style of music. Our guest and us had a BLAST thanks to Al! Highly highly high recommended!

DJ AL is the man. Incredibly responsive, and was able to accommodate our last minute changes with ease and grace. In the final week leading up to the wedding, we added PA's and incorporated a separate performer into the ceremony – not a problem. On top of that, we didn't get the final songlist over to him until the night before, and he did a fantastic job interpreting when to play each song throughout the evening (as all great DJs do). Prep for our DIY wedding was a little crazy leading up to the main event, but DJ AL made the A/V + entertainment components of our big day nothing short of first rate. AL's a professional, and it shows – very highly recommended!

Al Garcia went above and beyond as our DJ. He was courteous, professional and not only played terrific music but also installed a lights how that really made our reception a great success! He is just terrific.

Al was the DJ for our wedding, and he did an amazing job!! I met with him prior to go over the timeline and what type of songs we wanted to hear. Our wedding was absolutely perfect!! There was music playing all the time. During dinner Al played the perfect background music. After dinner the Dance floor was packed the entire time!! Everyone had a spectacular time!! The Lights also added a nice touch :) I would highly recommend him!

Al also set up the microphones for our ceremony which was outside and the was perfect as well!

I could not imagine a better DJ/Master of Ceremonies. He really did his best to create a great, fun atmosphere while keeping everything elegant and classy. My husband's family is traditional Korean and they loved his choice of songs. I really can't say enough about him - if you book him you won't regret it!

Al was great to work with! We were able to discuss our wedding details with Al via text, email, phone, and Skype (we live in MD). Al provided me with a few lists of song ideas for 1st dance, father/bride, & mother/groom dances when I asked for suggestions. He worked with my day of planner to ensure the whole night went smoothly. My friends and family still talk about what a fun night they had! I highly recommend using Al to DJ your wedding!

No words can describe how much fun we had on our wedding. He is so proffesional, puntual, and super easy to talk to. Even though we gave him at the last minute the first dance, bride/father, and groom/mother music elections; he rocked the mixes. No to mention we live in VA, and we had no time to meet him before the wedding. All guest were dancing and having a really good time all night long, and we are 100% sure they won't forget this day. Highly recommended. Thank you Al!!!!

Al Garcia was a great DJ. He met with us ahead of time, he played all of the songs we asked for and he played music he selected that got the crowd up and dancing. He just had great dance music. Our dance floor was full! We had so much fun. He led the activities, such as intro, first dance, toasts, etc. He worked well with our wedding coordinator to keep everything moving smoothly. I recommend him highly!

Al was such a treat and asset at our wedding. He is a true professional and took care of everything. He listened to our requests and advised where was necessary. He made our day go without a hitch and everyone had a blast. He was so patient with us in deciding on details and was able to fit us in in his tight schedule on fairly short notice. He is worth every penny and he was a pleasure to work with.

Al was great! He is super professional and great at what he does! He played everything exactly how we asked and everyone had a wonderful time dancing to his music.

We had a last minute snafu and needed someone to play our ceremony music. Al stepped right up and pulled it off without a hitch. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a great DJ!
