This owner is super sweet and caring throughout the entire process and I couldn’t have chosen a better location to go for my wedding dress! I highly recommend this place if you want a loving, warm, and welcoming environment to pick out a dress for your special day! -

I needed a MOG dress in a short amount of time & was a bit nervous about getting one I liked (I only knew the color) and one that I felt 'fancy' in. I emailed for an appoint and explained my concerns-heard back by next day and headed in the following week. I was greeted warmly by Kelly and she went right to work pulling gowns that came in the color I needed. She made quick work of trying on a good number of gowns (pinning and clipping so I could see how'd it look on me--I was impressed with her fast fingers-haha). We narrowed it down to 3 and then checked which gown was in stock since this was a pretty fast turn around. That was the one-fast forward a few weeks I received a call the dress was in-time for 1st fitting--Once again greeted warmly by name, this time by the owner Bridget. Got the dress on and Fern pinned the dress for alterations--I was SHOCKED it only took her 2 weeks to complete--It fit perfectly and the cost was so very reasonable.
It really was a pleasure shopping here and I actually had fun (I'm typically in sweats & t-shirt). If you need a wedding gown or formal gown I highly recommend Agnes Edmunds!

Beautiful Wedding Dress
Loved getting my dress at Agnes Edmunds. Bridget, the owner, helped me pick out the perfect dress. Fern was wonderful with the alterations and they added a surprise heart inside the dress. The gown was beautiful and fit perfectly. Thank you Bridget and Fern for helping make my wedding so special!! -

I had the most amazing experience with Agnes Edmunds. Before I started looking, I called various dress shops to ask how size inclusive they are since I am on the curvier side. There were other shops that claimed to be size-inclusive, but actually were not. However, there weren't any dresses at Agnes Edmunds that I wasn't able to try on because they were too small. Bridget was absolutely incredible from start to finish. I told her what I was looking for and she knew the perfect dress right away. The first dress I tried on was the one I went with. I got so many compliments on that dress. Bridget really has an eye for picking stunning dresses. I had gained a little weight and the dress needed to be let out, but I never once felt judged. Bridget and Fern always made me feel at ease. Fern did an amazing job fixing the dress for me and it fit perfectly on the day of. One of the sweetest touches was an unexpected patch sewn into the bra cup with our initials and the date of our wedding. I would recommend this shop to anyone. It really is the best! -

Bridget helped me to find the wedding dress of my dreams! Then also helped us to find my bridesmaids dresses! They were wonderful to work with, gave great timelines of when things needed to be ordered and made sure we had all our dresses for my wedding even in the middle of a pandemic when they weren't shipping dresses. She also made sure all the dresses were altered in time! -

I had an amazing experience with Agnes and Edmunds! Bridget did an amazing job of helping me to find the perfect dress. Fern did an incredible job with alterations! Bridget also did a great job helping all 6 of my girls find the perfect bridesmaid dress style, and working with my flower girl! They were great at being flexible with scheduling appointments, and working around my nightshirt schedule. I would highly recommend Agnes and Edmunds! -

The best wedding decision I made was to go to Agnes Edmunds the first time I was trying on wedding dresses. Bridget and Fern are amazing at Agnes Edmunds. From the day I walked into the door, they helped me try on dresses and find the dress of my dreams during my first appointment. It was just meant to be. Bridget assisted me in trying on other dresses at future appointments to make sure it was definitely “the dress.” Fern helped with alterations to make sure I was comfortable in the dress, which I truly appreciated. All the alterations were done in-house. Thank you, Bridget and Fern! Brides-to-be, this is the best place to go for your wedding dress needs. Here are just a few pictures from our big day! There are no words to describe how amazing Bridget and Fern are. They are both experts at what they do. I was able to trust them with everything and they delivered. They have any type of dress you could imagine and in house alterations are FREE with the dress purchase. I've heard that just adding straps (which I did) at some places would cost an arm and a leg. I can't recommend Agnes Edmund's enough. -

I had an amazing experience working with Bridget and Fern at Agnes Edmunds! I first visited the shop for a Saturday morning appointment with my mom and Maid of Honor. It was BUSY in there! However, after a very short wait, I was greeted politely and asked about what I was looking for. I tried on several dresses and hadn't found what I was looking for. Just when I was about to leave, Bridget comes over with a dress and asks if I will try it on. While I wasn't in love, I decided to go for it. Wouldn't you know, that was the dress I ended up choosing?! In her words, it's not a good "hanger dress" but it is beautiful. Bridget just has an eye for this! I didn't order the dress that day and there was absolutely no pressure from Bridget or the staff. I came back a couple of weeks later and put down a deposit. The price I was given was reasonable (as far as wedding dresses go!) and included my veil, belt and all standard alterations. I was notified when my dress came in and set up an appointment for my first fitting. Fern, the shop's seamstress extraordinaire, is amazing. She has years of experience in wedding dress alterations and is a real magician. I asked her to alter the lace cap sleeves on my dress to make them straps and she did so expertly. I was thrilled with the end result and never wanted to take my dress off.
I cannot say enough wonderful things about Agnes Edmunds Bridal! Thank you Bridget and Fern. You guys are the absolute BEST! -
Courtney Sent on 05/29/2018I think Bridget and Fern are angels! I had my worst nightmare happen. I ordered a dress from a DIFFERENT shop and it was never ordered and 3 months before my wedding I didn't have a wedding dress. Bridget saved the day! She only showed me dresses that she knew she could get in on time and I fell in love with a Kenneth Winston dress. Once my dress came in Fern worked tirelessly to make sure it was perfect for my big day! Even coming in early the day before my wedding to get me in for one last fitting. I love these woman and I know for a fact my wedding day wouldn't have been as perfect as it was without them.
Bridget also helped me with bridesmaid dresses. I had 6 bridesmaids in 4 states and none actually tried on dresses with me. She was great about ordering them early and making sure I had plenty of time to get them to my girls and make sure they fit. Bridget also outfitted my mom for the big day!
Overall, this is an amazing little shop in Pottstown with great history, amazing dresses, and the kindest staff! -

We ordered our bridesmaids dresses from this shop and I liked them so much that I had alterations for my gown done there as well. From day one, Bridget was so sweet and even while the store was busy, took the time to make each bridal party feel special. My bridesmaids couldn’t all come at the same time, but she was so accommodating, working with each of their schedules. Bridget and Fern also made sure the alterations for my dress were just right. I had a (minor) bride moment and changed shoes 3 weeks before the wedding (when they had just finished my alterations- sorry again ladies!) and yet they never flinched. They re-hemmed it to make sure it was the perfect fit. I’ve since brought other dresses for alterations as their prices are very reasonable. Overall, they’re amazing and the service is excellent. If you’re looking for a stress-free environment, I’d recommend this shop! :) -

I am one who gets overwhelmed with the wide range of dress options and at Agnes Edmunds, Bridget pulls dresses for you. She is amazing at picking dresses that fit your style and personality. Additionally, Fern is an amazing seamstress that is able to alter your dress to fit you perfectly. I also brought all of my bridesmaid to Agnes Edmunds to find bridesmaid dresses. Somehow Bridget learned all 7 names of my bridesmaids and made them all feel very welcomed and cared for during their experience. I was extremely grateful for their care and support throughout the dress process! -

Randi Sent on 12/01/2017Most of my friends got married several years ago, and many of them in different locations, but a good friend of mine got her dress locally at Agnes Edmunds and it was beautiful. Even though Pottstown is an hour drive from where I live, it was the first place I scheduled an appointment. I had looked at Kenneth Winston dresses online and they were so beautiful, just my style. My first appointment was on a Monday night and the shop was hopping! Cindy helped me in and out of dresses and Bridgette, the owner, made suggestions along the way. They were both sweet, genuine and down to earth. I felt like I was in great hands. I didn't feel rushed or bullied like I've heard you can feel dress shopping. I saw a few things I liked, but nothing that I was certain about. I had seen a few styles online the store didn't carry, but Bridgette said it was no problem to get loaners in of the dresses I wanted to see. She sent me a follow up email letting me know when the dress would be in and was very responsive and easy to work with. I came back in, tried on another dress (that I thought would be it, but wasn't), and then asked about *another* two styles. I felt like I was annoying, but Bridgette was easy going and reassuring. I took my mom with me to the ask appointment and even though I liked one of the dresses, we couldn't come to a consensus. It wasn't meant to be for me and Kenneth Winston. I ended up going with a different designer in a different store, but my experience with Agnes Edmunds was so great I wish I could have bought the other dress there! Definitely check this place out early. -

Kellie Sent on 09/15/2013This store is a gem! All of her business is based on the many years of business, and by word of mouth. They don't have a website, and don't advertise much, if at all. If you are looking for a chain bridal dress store, with walls and walls of dresses that you can finger through, then this is NOT the place for you. If you are looking for a unique store, that provides personalized and attentive service, and makes you feel like a million dollars every time you are in there, then this IS the place for you!! The wedding dress selection process is unique in that the owner asks your likes and dislikes and finds the dresses for you to try on; you don't have to search thru an overwhelming number of racks. Alterations are free, and they will perform as many as necessary to ensure you are happy with the end result. Thanks for helping make my day a beautiful and unforgettable one!!! -

I had heard of Agnes Edmunds from my mom's coworker's daughter, who had bought her dress here. This was the last bridal store I happened to visit, but I probably could've started here and felt great about my decision. This store was the most flexible of those I visited when it came to bringing in sample dresses from designers they carried. I wouldn't have been able to decide on a dress if I wasn't able to actually try on all those I was curious about!
During my appointments here, they were vey helpful in listening to how I felt in the dresses and offering their advice. I was there some days when the shop was very busy, but there were also opportunities to visit during much less busy times, which was really helpful for me. They have an in-house seamstress, which was also very helpful in determining possible modifications to a dress before purchasing. She made my dress fit me perfectly. I felt really comfortable, beautiful, and confident on my wedding day! I thought that their prices were very reasonable, especially considering that they included alterations. I will recommend them to my local friends!
A tip for walking around their store, especially in the changing area: try to keep your shoes on, as I noticed quite a few straight pins that had fallen on the floor (they use these to pin the dresses). -

All things Dresses
Bridget is the owner of the boutique and she made my wedding day special. She was extremely kind and patient when I entered her boutique and tried on a wedding dress for the first time. I found the dress that I had to have. My bridesmaid dresses, junior bridesmaid dress and flower girl dress all came from this shop. The dresses were gorgeous and Bridget worked with us to make sure every girls dress fit perfectly. I highly recommend this boutique. Bridget adds a personal touch to her service. -

I had a very negative experience with this vendor as a bridesmaid for my sister-in-law's wedding. They were late in placing the order for our dresses and did not answer calls or respond to my voicemails regarding my sizing and payment. When Bridget finally called for payment, she was unprofessional and yelled at me for not calling sooner. I would strongly discourage any bride from working with them that has and out of town bridal party as this was an incredibly difficult process.
