She hand delivered our paperwork to the courthouse on request and was able to meet with us on very short notice. -

Cathy was great to work with. She was responsive and even followed up when I got behind on my planning! She worked around our schedule! We had a Hindu wedding and were looking for someone to get us legally married on the same day as our Hindu wedding, she was easily able to accommodate and we can't thank you enough!! -

I somewhat had a destination wedding, and it required finding an officiant that would be unfamiliar to me, my husband, and our families. I was born and raised in the area, but the priest I grew up with hasn't served or lived in Hampton Roads for many years. I knew Cathi was the perfect choice from our first phone conversation. She was so warm and friendly, I immediately felt comfortable with her. Our wedding was the weekend of Hurricane Matthew and she made sure to be there for us once we knew the wedding wasn't going to be delayed due to weather. We literally couldn't have done it without her, and she made a delightful change to the readings in light of weather that everyone enjoyed. Thank you, Cathi! -

Cathi was a wonderful officiant for our October wedding. Open & inviting, she had no problem discussing any concerns or questions we had about the ceremony. She helped us build out the structure of the ceremony with suggestions/choices that helped the overall flow but still made it all personal. It felt great to know that the most important part of our wedding day was in such good hands. Thank you for making our day even more special! -

The ceremony you performed was more than we could ever hope for. It is one thing to have the legality of being married, but to also have the religious component truly binds Mark and me together. During the course of the reception nearly every guest remarks on how Mark and I couldn't have picked a better officiate to do our wedding. You stated up front the process was very easy and it was. You said it would be beautiful and it was. Letting us pick what we liked showed the flexibility of your script and to have our families as an integral part of the ceremony was so important to us. Would we recommend you to others--without doubt or hesitation. You are truly a blessing for us. -

Absolutely 100% recommend Cathi to anyone. She was quick professional and very accommodating. I could not have asked for a better officiant. I was very impressed with Cathi and everyone attending absolutely enjoyed her officiating. One of my favorite parts is that Cathi is very with technology and officiates off her iPad. -

Cathi was great to work with. She helped us design and customize a ceremony that was right for us. She was responsive to our questions prior to the ceremony. Her follow-up was always excellent. On our wedding day, she arrived early as promised and then she officiated a beautiful ceremony. Cathi helped to make our wedding a little more special. She just simply did a wonderful job for us. -

Cathi was an absolute treasured addition to our wedding! She was extremely professional, personable, accommodating and had wonderful suggestions to help guide us through the parts of planning the ceremony that we were unsure about. She was also a crucial part to our rehearsal making sure that everything went according to our vision. She even added special touches, such as a reference to my mother who recently passed away, to the ceremony that we hadn’t thought of and that made the whole thing that much more perfect. We are so incredibly happy that Cathi was a part of our most special day and would whole heartedly recommend her! -

We interviewed and spoke with many "officiants". Cathi went far beyond such a simple title. While consulting with us on the phone, I had jotted notes regarding "some sort of idea" of MANY things I wanted to incorporate into our wedding. For meanings she was not even aware of. With a simple description, Cathi took the time to completely orchestrate and organize my wedding, the party, personal elements. Words cannot express my gratitude. We basically had little to no budget. Yet, when I heard the wedding march and began walking down the aisle, my wedding was the exact fairy tale I always imagined. I owe a major percentage for such success to her years of wisdom and guidance. There is one thing I must share that Cathi did not even realize. I write my own poetry. It was important to me that my sister read one of my poems. Two days prior to the wedding, I was certain I would find time. I did not. Cathi and I happened to arrive at the venue at the same time. I whispered to her, we must omit the poem, as I did not find the time to write it. Within a SECOND, she tapped her little iPad and said, "How about this one?" Well, my sister is my best friend, 10 yrs my junior. We almost lost her to throat cancer not so long ago. We were told to say our goodbyes. She is a survivor. She was a professor at a dental college prior to her diagnosis. After she made it through the treatments and chemo, we were told she may never speak as it consumed her vocal cords. She received vocal implants. They then said she would only whisper. Well, now, 2 years later, she can not only speak but is teaching again. To have my sister stand on my wedding day in front of us all and READ A POEM ALOUD, well, words cannot express. Cathi offering that gift to me, not knowing my sister's story, well, there are no words to express how wonderful she is at her job. All officiants are around the same cost. However, Cathi was not only the officiant, she was a wedding planner, counselor and blessing. THANK YOU CATHI -

My husband & I had a Wednesday morning wedding, Cathi was very willing to work with us. She worked with us on the ceremony with the vows and it turned out beautifully. I would recommend her to all of my friends when their time comes to tie the not. If i could do it again i would have her for another wedding. She truly made my day special for me & i would not trade the day I had for the world. Wonderful is all that i have to say! -

I would recommend Cathi to anyone! She was fantastic from the first contact! She replied to my email request quickly & we then proceeded with a phone call. She was easy to talk to & answered all of my questions. She was willing to marry us @ 9am! Luckily, we didn't have to do that, but she would have. Upon meeting her face-to-face, she was very professional, friendly, and up-front about what was going to happen! We had a small ceremony at home, but I am positive that she would make you happy performing a church wedding! She's wonderful! -

Cathi Warfel is a wonderful officiant. She has so many creative and original ideas for wedding services.We wanted a simple service, yet she helped us make ours so unique and memorable. We received so many comments on how lovely the service was. She kept in contact with us throughout the planning stages and had so many great ideas. I wanted to make the service unique for my two future stepdaughters and Cathi suggested special ways to do that (Cathi suggested and we gave the girls the Open Heats family neckaces during the ceremony---the girls were not expecting that and were very touched). Cathi brought up so many things we had not thought of for the service and had ideas on how to handle them. I have recommended her whole-heartedly to many others. -

With extremely opposing religious views on both sides of the family, my fiance and I were most concerned about finding an officiant that could be non denominational but still keep it traditional. Cathi was exactly what we had hoped for! We spoke on the phone a few times, met in person and she produced a ceremony that was breathtaking. I had so many compliments on her words and delivery. She was so professional, and really captured the spirit, love and youth in our crowd. All sides were pleased and a huge weight was lifted off of us after we met her. (So much so that we recommended her to our close friends who actually used her the next month at thier wedding!) She made choosing an officiant effortless and we cannot thank her enough for her communication, follow through and words that made our day so special. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for an officiant! -

Awesome. When we met within the first few minutes she quoted Mel Brooks. She had me at "do ya." On a more serious note, she was very professional and had great ideas for our ceremony and performed it to our desires. We will remember our ceremony forever.

Cathi at Ageless Balance was wonderful to work with. She was quick to respond and very personable. There was no feeling of being rushed or pushed in a certain direction. She was willing to work with us on the entire ceremony wording even though we had no clear direction.
Due to our wedding date falling in the middle of hurricane Sandy we had to change locations multiple times in different cities. Not once did I feel like I was causing her an inconvenience.
In summary I could not have asked for a better officiant. I felt no pressure the entire time and she was very personable. There was enough chaos due to the storm that having something go right was a massive relief.
