I don't normally leave reviews, but After Hours did such an awesome job at my wedding! Between Benny our MC and Peyton our DJ, they kept the energy up for the whole reception! They played the songs we requested while fitting them into the dance sets seamlessly. During the wedding and for days after, our guests were raving about After Hours, telling us that the energy of the MC and the flow of the music was perfect. The flow between songs never felt clunky or out of place, the energy was lively and authentic. Everyone, my husband and I included, have nothing but wonderful things to say about After Hours. Also, the photo booth attendant was very helpful and patient throughout the constant flow of guests taking pictures. We can't thank you all enough and will be recommending After Hours every chance we get!

Greg and Maria'es Wedding Night.
We just recently had our wedding at Jericho Terrace on Saturday August 16th, 2025. We hired Phil and After Hours Entertainment and I must say, I was highly impressed. Phil was so kind, humbling, compassionate, energetic, intelligent, honest, and respectful during the entire process. He makes you feel like you are family to him and deeply cares about his job and making you not worry a single second about the music. I could easily tell how much he loves doing this. From Phil to MC McLovin, Harry, and staff, they were just simply the best. I would highly recommend them for your weddings and parties. Thank you Phil and Staff for making our wedding night the best ever!!!!

What an exit!
My daughter contacted Phil (who is a great guy !) regarding her wedding this past weekend. She wanted a Party Truck. Phil, it was absolutely perfect!! Dennis and his assistant were FANTASTIC! The guests LOVED it! My husband was having a ball out there with our friends and all the food. (I missed it but heard all about it. Heard it was continual laughter). The truck was LOADED! So clean. Shiny. So impressive! A lot of guests left before midnight and we had tons of food left that they happily packed up for us. Dennis told us that when he went to pick up the burgers, there were seeds on our buns and we requested no seeds because my daughter has a sesame allergy. He took care of it, with us not knowing there was a problem, and everything went smoothly. We couldn’t be more grateful for his hard work, attention and true caring. So kind and friendly! What a great way to end the night! We can’t thank you enough Phil!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

We recently had the privilege of experiencing an incredible day of music, dance, and unforgettable memories thanks to After Hours Music & Entertainment. From the first track dropped to the final encore, our MC Switch & DJ Peyton proved they are the true masters of their craft.
Working with After Hours Music & Entertainment was an absolute pleasure. From the initial consultation to the final encore, they exhibited the utmost professionalism and reliability. They understood our vision and executed it flawlessly, leaving no room for stress or worry. Their attention to detail was commendable, and it was evident that they genuinely cared about making our event special. We provided a simple timeline, and they kept us on track the entire time! Kept The Party Going!!
We met Phil at a wedding expo and he matched our energy right off the bat. He appreciated our mix of music to appease everyone and Benny used that. Coordinating the order of operations for the reception was a little difficult but, thankfully our venue coordinator worked with Benny to ensure the schedule went smoothly.
The only negative aspect was he never played a game to raffle off the centerpieces but, his job was to get people dancing and that's what he did. We also forgot to communicate it with him so, not entirely his fault.

Great, fun, professional team
10/10! A fantastic group of people to work with and they made our wedding day so fun. After Hours was a preferred vendor of our wedding venue so we decided to speak with them first and realized we didn’t need to look any further after just one meeting! We planned with the owner, Phil, and he was amazing to work with. Such high energy but also personable and organized. He was patient with us as we made a few last minute changes and the team got everything right on the day of the party. The whole team of 5 ran so smoothly. DJ McLovin was amazing and brought just the right energy to our crowd – everyone had such a fun time thanks to him leading the night. Anthony (who coincidentally is also the brother of one of my bridesmaids & lifelong friends!) was our Zap Photographer and he REALLY delivered on the photos. We had the party photos rotate on TV screens throughout the party which was really fun and we used those same videos to display old photos of bride/dad & groom/mom during our dances. We thought it was a nice touch and he took the most beautiful photos, capturing moments perfectly. Best of all, we got them all on a USB at the end of the night so I quickly got to relive every moment and share them with our family and friends. We were so excited to also have a photo booth during the party which was an added piece of fun for our guests. We were so surprised when After Hours gave us an album signed by our guests with our photo booth photos at the end of the night! They really all thought of everything. From start to finish, the entire team was all professional, courteous, and fun! I’m so happy we used After Hours and recommend them to anyone looking for an excellent and seamless experience!

Phil is the best, hands down. We had Phil, Mclovin, and Boppa and the dance floor was amazing all night. My husband wanted a specific vibe music wise and Phil went above and beyond! Plus the photo booth attendants were so much fun! Seriously phil is the best and do whatever you need done.

Wonderful to Work With!!
Book them. Immediately. They were the third DJ we met with in a week and the great vibe we got with Phil and the pricing couldn’t be beat! Phil is quite a character, but is fun and really listens to your needs, nor does he try to force additional services on you. In fact, he was totally open to us having Haitian music at our wedding and recommended one of his MCs, Carlton as an option since he himself is Haitian! Carlton and McLovin were AMAZING at the wedding. Both came to us before the reception started to check in and confirm things. We also discovered that my fiance, his siblings and some friends went to high school with McLovin!! It was a great coincidence. Him and Carlton kept the party going, kept people on the dance floor, and seamlessly included our Haitan music. Carlton even spoke Haitian Creole, which really impressed my relatives. He also took my on the spot suggestions immediately, which I loved. Bopa was also awesome on the drums, even serving as great backup when I got up there! He did disappear for a bit towards the end of the night, and Carlton did play a bit for him, but did do great for the most part. I’d definitely hire them again, they really made the night and it felt like they had a great time as well, which they told us!!

Fantastic Experience With After Hours
Phil and his team were absolutely AMAZING! We had Phil for our Ceremony, Phil and DJ McLovin, a Roaming iPad, a 360 video booth for our Reception, and an After Party DJ for our 02/12/22 Wedding. We can't say enough great things about them! Our guests have not stopped talking about how much fun they had. The 360 video booth was new so we were iffy about doing it, but we are SO glad we did! It was such a hit and all of the videos have been so great to look back on. I need to give a special shoutout to Phil - we had to change our Ceremony last minute and he was so wonderful throughout the whole process. He made our Ceremony absolutely perfect and then got the party started and kept it going throughout the entire Reception. He was also always available to answer any email or question I ever had super quickly leading up to the wedding, which I really appreciated. If you need a great DJ Team, know you are in exceptional hands with everyone at After Hours!

Hands down the best in the biz!
I have known the awesome team at After Hours for years being in the wedding industry myself. When I got engaged it was a no brainer to reach out to Phil to discuss details about our wedding day.
When we had to postpone due to Covid After Hours was extremely accommodating and understanding.
Leading up to the day Phil provided a music sheet which was a great way to get a feel of our wedding leading up to it. They listened to our special requests and were so much fun. While we didn't have Phil on our wedding day, Brett and Jake rocked the party and so did their percussionist. Despite 100 degree heat and 100% humidity our guests had a blast dancing the night away!.

We used After Hours Entertainment for our wedding on 8/14/21. Jake was our one man DJ/emcee. He was not only fantastic at his job, he just seemed like an all around great person. He was very professional and considerate throughout the day, checking in with us frequently to make sure we were happy with the music. And we were! My guests are still reaching out to me to tell me how great the music was and how much fun they had on the dance floor.
Throughout the process, Phil, the owner, was always responsive and pleasant to work with. He was flexible and accommodating when we had to postpone our wedding due to the pandemic, and his prices are incredibly fair. I highly recommend After Hours for your DJ needs!

Amazing company!

So happy and trustworthy for your big events!! My wife and I got married on July 16th 2021 at NYIT de seversky mansion and the team at After Hours did an incredible job. A lot of time, effort and money went into this wedding so we did our research to find high quality entertainment and we are so happy with our decision. When we walked in and met Phil Vollaro, I knew that he was the person I wanted there on my wedding day. Phil even ordained us for the wedding that’s how much I liked him!!! He is Fun, vibrant, funny, positive energy and qualified. He showed us his reasonably priced packages and so many options to add on if we wanted to, without being pressured. We got a DJ, an MC (Phil), the white panel board cover which was a classy covering that my wife loved, and lights that showed our names and date on the dance floor in the font of our choosing. DJ mclovin did an amazing job, so friendly, fun and accommodating. We sent Phil a list of the songs we wanted before, during, and after dinner along with the toasts/speeches we wanted to give and he made everything so smooth. If you want more than just a DJ that is super experienced, prepared, fun, positive, friendly, and can do it all.. Phil and the after hours team is the perfect choice!! Thank you After Hours!!!

We danced the night away!
When selecting the music for our wedding, we knew we wanted a DJ that would reflect our personal taste in music. After Hours was an obvious choice. With a few song recommendations, they completely understood our vision and gave us a party beyond what we could have ever imagined. With Phil and McLovin, the dance floor was filled the entire night from start to finish. Someone said to me “I can’t remember the last time I danced that much,” which is the best compliment I can give. Phil was also the officiant of our ceremony and played a huge role in making the flow and organization of the night run perfectly smooth. We had attended weddings with After Hours before and knew we had to hire them when we got engaged. Once we had a date, Phil was the first person we called. From that day forward, he was the most responsive vendor I could have imagined. He made us laugh and feel like friends. We like rock music, but really wanted to party. He encouraged us to make choices that we would love (Disturbed for our entrance, Pearl Jam during dinner, orchestral versions of Metallica for cocktail hour) and still made it feel like a true PARTY. Everybody was on the dance floor all night and a week later I am still getting calls about the "best DJ ever." These guys are the best in the business and if you hire them and trust them, you will have a better wedding than you've ever dreamed of.

Super fun, all-in-one package!
We hired After Hours for a DJ, percussionist, and photo booth for our September 2019 wedding in Manhattan. Phil was very easy to work with while planning and especially in determining the order of events at the Reception to meet our objectives (i.e. maximum dance time!). And his team added so much fun to our wedding! DJ James and Percussionist Benny were amazing!! We shook things up a bit with our intros (we were introduced by the DJ and then we introduced the members of our bridal party) and they made everything sound seamless and perfect. James was very attentive and coordinated beautifully with us and the Maitre D' at the venue throughout the evening. We had a few different playlists of music for various times in the evening, including Armenian and other cultural songs needed for specific traditions and they worked with them so well. Benny added another layer of fun with some live music flair and allowing us to play the drums for a bit! We loved the Photo booth (the animal heads were a huge hit) and had so much fun going through the guestbook of everyone's photos.

Best DJ company ever! If you are searching for a DJ, please book this company because you go above and beyond than what you need. We booked with Phil was an easy thing. Highly Recommend the Food Truck
We used After Hours for a food truck at the end of the night following our wedding. The food and personalized bags were our favor. Phil was amazing. I highly recommend him. Although we didn’t use After Hours for any other services (we had an all-inclusive wedding package), everyone I met from the company the night of our wedding and at various bridal expos were great. Phil was extremely easy to work with and he and his guys and of course the food truck were a huge hit. I’ve had so much positive feedback on the food truck, I would do it again for any event in the future. The cost was reasonable, and people loved getting candy, white castle, pizza hut, and taco bell at the end of the night. Many guests have said it was better than any other wedding favor they’ve gotten.

We couldn't be happier that we went with After Hours for our wedding. Phil was our point person and he was so easy to communicate with and extremely organized. We hired a string trio for the ceremony, a pianist for the cocktail hour, and had DJ McLovin for our reception. Everyone was so amazing and was able to play anything we wanted. Our best vendor by far!
Last year my husband Marc and I got married at Oceanbleu, and used After Hours as our DJ, for live music during ceremony and cocktail hour, and for a food truck with pizza and taco bell at the end of the night. Throughout the process, Phil became more than a vendor, but a great friend to us as he was easy to communicate with while we selected songs and explained our vision, helped us figure out how to hook up sound on the beach for the ceremony, and even signed off on our marriage license since my cousin who married us wasn't officially "ordained". From the very first song to the very last (Scotty Doesn't Know), Phil had very single guest dancing, smiling, laughing, and moving for the entirety of our wedding. He was easily our best vendor at the wedding and make the night so fun and unforgettable. If you want your guests to have the best party of their lives, book After Hours. Phil is THE BEST!!!

Book After Hours NOW!
When we picked Watermill for our venue, After Hours was NOT a recommended vendor. After checking the other vendor reviews, I was not impressed. I decided to do my own research and came across After Hours music. I booked an appointment with Phil in Riverhead, and the rest is history. Phil is such a laid back, fun guy who really enjoys what he does for a living. We booked him and McLovin after going to one of their shows (which everyone should attend). Phil kept in touch throughout the whole process, and is prompt with emails. When we sat with him a week before the wedding, he went over the full day schedule and put us at ease with all concerns that we had. On the day of the wedding, Phil came early to set up the Ipod for our ceremony. During the reception, he was super fun and charismatic. He even came over to grab a drink with our friends! McLovin did a great job mixing the new and old music to cater to all different age groups (and music tastes). McLovin had me on the dance floor all night, and all my guests followed. We also added the photobooth with our package, and the props these guys had were hilarious. From Morty mask to the shark mask, my guests were absolutely in tears from the photos they took. Almost everyone went to the photobooth that night, so we definitely got our money's worth with that ! I cannot thank After Hours enough for a truly perfect night !

Excellent Experience
We are very pleased with our experience with After Hours. We first came in contact with the group at a Bridal Show on LI. We definitely felt their energy and got the impression that they were a fun group of individuals. We met with Phil, and he answered all of our questions. He was always prompt to respond and was certainly passionate about his craft. We ended up having DJ Jake as our DJ, as Phil let us know he thought he would be a good fit. He was totally right, Jake was a perfect match for our wedding. He played all of our requests and filled dance floor the entire night. He had the perfect amount of interaction with our guests and was a very easy person to work with. Everyone commented on how good the DJ was and how much they enjoyed the music he played! Great experience and wonderful service
For our wedding at the Royalton on the Greens, we had the team of MC Carlton, and DJ Jay for our wedding and DJ Peyton for our wedding after party. They were all fantastic. We provided a list of songs that we wanted included in our wedding and after-party and they did not disappoint. MC Carlton was very personable and an awesome hype guy and encouraged everyone to get on the dance floor. Carlton also worked well with the staff at the wedding reception to make sure the lineups and bridal party pairings were perfectly coordinated. DJs Jay and Peyton made sure the party kept going and our guests were on the dance floor. After Hours is second to none!
It took me a few days to figure out how to properly review After Hours and Phil! After Hours is so much more than a DJ/MC/entertainment company - they make you feel like friends and family. Phil was the perfect partner every step of the way. He is super responsive to emails, questions, requests, and REMEMBERED everything! His paperwork is on-point so you feel that he has everything covered. Phil and his team handled every request, and were flexible when they needed to be.
His zap photographer and steel drummer are fantastic. They kept the party going all night (even though my crowd was a hang by the bar type), everyone made their way to the dance floor! His energy and professionalism is SECOND TO NONE! Do yourself a favor, and book them now.

After Hours was not only an easy choice for us to make, but they also provided us with an amazing experience throughout the wedding. Phil is extremely professional, knowledgeable, and knows his craft better than many of the DJs we looked at. Phil was both our officiant and MC. We got so many compliments from our guests about his officiating at our ceremony, and he had great energy during the reception that kept everyone dancing throughout the night! Jake was our DJ and we are so glad we picked him! His personality and choices in music truly complimented our wedding and had everyone tearing up the dance floor. Phil and Jake are the best! If we had to do our wedding all over again we wouldn't even think twice about using another DJ. Our experience with After Hours was the best experience we had with a wedding vendor - we highly recommend them!

After Hours is AMAZING!! Phil was amazing to work with. He made the entire process so easy & was so accommodating. We had DJ Jake as our DJ/MC for our wedding. We met both Jake & Phil at a showcase and we knew right away we wanted to book with them. Their energy & professionalism was great! Jake followed our playlist and understand exactly what we wanted. He even ran through the ceremony music quick while we took pics outside & walked with us as we went over everyone's names. Jake had my entire bridal party & guests laughing the whole time. He had the entire room dancing from beginning to end!! We had guests calling us days after saying how they don't dance yet the night of our wedding they were on the dance floor all night! Best decision I made was hiring After Hours for our wedding!!!

My husband and I recently got married and DJ Jake was the DJ for our wedding. After seeing him DJ my sister’s wedding over a year ago, my husband and I KNEW he had to DJ our wedding. DJ Jake is everything a great DJ should be. His playlist was killer, he didn’t change songs to soon or too late, and he was able to completely read the room to keep the energy level up. MC Phil and DJ Jake absolutely made our night come to life! Their meticulous attention to detail ensured that everything ran smoothly and progressed as requested. Their music kept our guests on the dance floor the whole night. Everyone loved their mix of songs, and my husband and I loved how they seamlessly wove our requested songs in with hits, oldies, etc. They had high energy, yet weren’t overbearing and didn’t “steal the show” as some DJs/MCs tend to do. To top it off, Phil is a caring guy who is always smiling and genuinely wants to make sure you have the best night. If you are researching DJs to use for your next event, stop now and set up an appointment with After Hours. You won’t regret it!

All of guests could not stop talking about how great After Hours was. We booked with Phil for our wedding on 6/24/18 and it was one of the best decisions we made. After Hours absolutely rocked the place. In addition to Phil as MC, and McLovin as the DJ, we had a Zap photographer which was amazing because had over 600 photos from cocktail hour through the end of the reception. All of these photos were incredible and it was so much fun seeing all of our guests on the dance floor having a great time. In addition, Phil made our wedding slideshow and it brought some of guests to tears at how great it was, it blew our minds at how amazing it was! We had a choreographed first dance and the song started out low, Phil made us feel so confident and ready! After Hours completely blew everyone else out of the water, hands down best DJ company out there!

After Hours did an amazing job. We got DJ, MC, zap shots and photo booth. We had Brett as MC and Billy as DJ. They played all of the songs that we requested and steered clear of everything we said we didn’t want played. They were very professional and knew how to read the crowd. We had DJ McLovin as our DJ and I can't even say anything other than I loved him to pieces. He got the crowd amped up, on the dance floor and knew how to read the room- if there were too many young people on the floor he switched it up that even my 88 year old great aunt was on the floor shaking it! We had surprise T-Rex show up, and McLovin took it in stride and played music to get the T-Rex on the dance floor with our guests and we've been hearing great reviews ever since! He was wonderful, I can't wait for another party so we can use them again.

After hours was absolutely amazing! My wedding was more amazing than words could ever say! Phil and his crew did an absolute amazing job from start to finish! From the moment I met with Phil I knew our wedding would be everything I dreamed of and more! I have people texting me saying how amazing the wedding was and how great the music was and of course EVERYONE was impressed with the food truck! It was a tremendous hit! When I look back on my pictures and I see how many people were on that dance floor it makes me so happy knowing they all had a great time and that is because we had the greatest DJ's and of course Phil as our MC! It was because there was never a reason to get off that dance floor because every song was great and geared for all ages! After Hours was one of the BEST decisions we made for our wedding! After attending other showcases, we saw After Hours and booked on the spot. The music was perfect, but their personalities sold us. It’s hard to find the line between “too much” and “not enough” with entertainment, but everyone here seems to do it effortlessly. The music hit a range wide enough to please EVERYONE at our wedding, and the dance floor was literally never empty. We chose MC Jake because his personality fit ours so well. During the showcase, he made me feel SO comfortable in front of a crowd (I participated in a game) that I was able to relax and have fun; that’s how I knew he was our guy. He carried that same level of comfort into our wedding, as though we hired a friend. He was able to get the party going and keep the energy high all night, but in a way that wasn’t overbearing for our guests. He was perfect. We chose DJ McLovin because his music selection was a perfect blend of my love for pop and “the classics” with my husband’s taste for rock and oldies. When we did our paperwork, we only requested a few songs and let him take care of the rest; his intuition for what we and our guests wanted to hear was spot on. We opted for uplighting and an enclosed photo booth. The uplighting was stunning and made the room complete, and the photo booth was a hit. Our guests had a ball and we’ll cherish our take-home album forever. Finally, Phil: I don’t know what to say about how great he was. He was a huge help and comfort in making sure our event was a success. From the moment we booked, to the evening after our wedding when he emailed to ask “How’d it go?”, Phil ensured everything was executed flawlessly, on time, and in a way that made it so easy for us. He answered calls and emails immediately, helped with pricing, and checked in when we forgot to take care of things. Booking with After Hours was the easiest part of planning. I HIGHLY recommend them if you want to host an amazing event.

We got married at the Bourne Mansion in June and had Brett as our MC and DJ McLovin as our DJ, and they were both great.
Brett brought charisma and personality to his role as an MC, without being too loud or overbearing. Prior to our wedding day, Phil was a pleasure to deal with. He was incredibly accommodating and helpful and made sure my brother had all the equipment he needed from them to play guitar at our ceremony, and that our officiant had the equipment he needed to perform the ceremony. They kept everyone dancing all night long, and played all the music that us and our guests asked for. They were exactly the kind of DJ we were looking for, and our guests all had a great time with them.

DJ McLovin' and MC Phil are the ABSOLUTE BEST no doubt about it. I wish there was a better way to convey just how amazing they are but there is no right or wrong way to describe it. The dance floor was packed all night and even during dinner and everything the music was still on point. I gave them a pretty detailed song list at them, I also had some quick last minute additions and changes the day before and the night of and there were no problems at all. They kept the party lively all night long. Phil was amazing and worked seamlessly with the entire staff at Westbury Manor, he made it personalized to us and made it a night that we will honestly never forget! THANK YOU so much to them both!! Booking with them is a guarantee for a GREAT night!

After Hours wasn't even on our list until we saw them perform at a bridal show. We immediately set up a meeting and booked DJ McLovin on the spot. We couldn't have gone with a better choice. McLovin was incredible the entire day and we received so many compliments from our guests about him. We even had engaged guests take his card to inquire about their own wedding. If you're looking for a fun, energetic and an overall incredible DJ experience than this is the company to go to. I saw AfterHours at another friends wedding and knew immediately I wanted them for mine. Never met with another DJ. Phil and McLovin had our party going nonstop. Phil really got to know our personality and music tastes beforehand. It was the BEST choice.

I have to say DJ Joe was PHENOMENAL ! ! ! ! I know I rushed him in to one of the speeches because my sister was so nervous but he didn't miss a beat. I'm pretty sure he played every single thing on my list - how he made that work with around 200 songs I have no idea. My whole night was perfect but I'm a firm believer that Joe was a huge reason for that. I couldn't have asked for a better DJ. About a week before my wedding Phil contacted me to let me know the photo booth I had booked for my wedding was damaged and out for repairs but that I would have it replaced with a larger one. It was such a big hit ! The only thing that made me a little sad is that when I got home I noticed only one person signed the photo book. So I followed up with some friends and found out they were never told that there was a book, or that they should sign it. Luckily enough I had a back up guestbook that most people signed. But since that was my ONLY issue throughout the whole night I can't really complain ! ! I highly recommend After Hours. They were extremely responsive to e-mails, great to meet in person, and awesome the day of my wedding. Overall they are pretty great; everyone at my wedding said so!

Phil and the Afterhours team are amazing! Our wedding was August 2014 and Afterhours was extremely professional and tons of fun! Phil was our MC and he really got the party started! He was also very quick to respond when I had questions and very pleasant to work with. He also did our photo montage which came out amazing. My family worked with Phil and DJ McLovin for sister's wedding 4 years ago and it was one of the easiest, smoothest, and most enjoyable experiences we have ever had with a vendor. It was no question that my fiancé and I would have him DJ our wedding 5 years later. Very personable, down to earth, fun and extremely professional. My sister's guests never wanted to leave the dance floor and I'm sure ours won't either. Finding a good DJ is hard to do but with Phil it is stress free and you know it will be the best every time.

After Hours is such an amazing company. I was the maid of honor at a wedding that they did about three years ago. The energy was so high and the music was AMAZING. MC Phil really made the whole event. I have never seen so many people on a dance floor and even the mother of the bride was dancing on a speaker and singing to “Living on a Prayer”. Now I am engaged and doing my search for all of my vendors. Remembering what a great time I had at that wedding three years ago, I decided that After Hours would be one of the vendors that I would check out. I visited a few other DJ companies in my search. They all were offering similar things, however there was one great difference and that was their products. I wanted the white system, the name in lights, zap shots, and most importantly both a DJ and MC. I got a lower price from the other DJ and called Phil to match the price since that is what the contract says that Phil gave me. He was MORE THAN WILLING to match the price but told me to ask the other companies to actually SEE what they were offering. When I looked at the actual products I realized that other companies CLAIMED that they had white systems, however it was really just the same black system covered in white cloth. The TVs for the Zap shots were a lot smaller and weren’t white either! The only way I found this out is because of Phil. His honesty and quality of products was what had my fiancé and I sold on his company. As a final test before booking Phil we went to one of their expos at the Vianna Hotel and Spa. We wanted to make sure that after three years that things didn’t change in their performance. To my surprise, they blew my fiancé and me away. They were even BETTER than three years ago! We booked them right on the spot that night making sure that Phil would be my MC because I trust him 100%. With Phil and After Hours I know my party will be one that people will remember for years to come and that I am in the best hands!!

After hours was truly an amazing company to work with on my wedding day! From the moment I met them I felt completely at ease and knew they were perfect for my event. The accommodated all my requests and were very ease to get it touch with at all times. Benny was our MC and he was always checking on us though out the night to ensure we were having the best time possible! All the guests danced the entire night and RAVED about the DJ. Bopa on the drums was a must have - everyone loved him! And DJ McLOvin was on point with all the songs! All my engaged friends are asking me for their number! I would recommend After Hours to anyone! THE most AMAZING DJ I have ever seen in my entire life. Phil and Brett were UNREAL. All of our guests have told us countless times that our wedding was the best they have ever been to and I know it was all thanks to Phil and Brett! Phil was so helpful during the entire planning process, he answered all of my emails and questions immediately, and most importantly, he was equally as excited as we were for our wedding! Him and Brett really pumped up all of our guests and played amazing music the ENTIRE night. I recently worked with afterhours to provide entertainment for my wedding. We hired the string trio for the ceremony & cocktail hour and a DJ for the reception. Phil and his team were a pleasure to work with during the planning process and everything was straight forward and simple. The string trio really created a nice ambiance during the ceremony and cocktail hour. DJ James did a really great job and had the crowd dancing the entire time. He played all of the music we wanted to hear and played a good variety of music based on what we said we liked.

Brett from After Hours did the music for our cocktail hour and reception. He did an amazing job and had everyone on the dance floor all night. After Hours did a fantastic job providing entertainment for my wedding. Phil, our DJ, has practically become a family friend... he went above and beyond even before the wedding day, responding to many emails, phone calls and even a few extra meetings to arrange some zany details. He even provided a wifi hot spot so that my sister overseas was able to view the ceremony through FaceTime. He is also fun, friendly and hilariously funny! He can get any crowd going. He had a lot to contend with given that our wedding was in a beautiful location on the Long Island Sound on one of the most gorgeous days of the year so far. But he was so lively and always kept people dancing. We also opted for a snack/candy truck rental through After Hours and it was a HUGE hit with our guests. We had a kid-friendly wedding and they especially loved the snack truck! I'll never forget my nephew seeing the truck and screaming, "Oh, Yeeesssss!"

The moment we met with Phil, we knew we needed to book him for our wedding. He is so personable, charming, and downright fun. Not only did Phil have the patience of a saint - the playlists I sent him were exhaustive and detailed - he was extremely flexible as well. We added on photobooth services and uplighting and then ended up changing our wedding date ... Phil was able to accommodate all. He responded to emails at all times of the night, worked with our budget, and our guests LOVED HIM. He even got in the photobooth with us. The fact that I'm writing a review even before our event date truly says something about the quality of service that Phil and After Hours provides. Meeting with Phil was a wonderful experience, he was incredibly knowledgable, professional, and personable. We instantly felt very comfortable and knew that he would be the choice for us. Phil is incredible to work with. We hired one of his guitarists, Marty, to perform for our cocktail hour and our after party. Marty did a great job. He had a large selection of songs to choose from. I loved having a guitarist and vocalist for our cocktail hour and Marty was a perfect compliment to our bonfire on the beach after party. It was so romantic hanging out on the beach by the bonfire with a guitar playing in the background. I have also been to another wedding where Phil was the MC and a band from After Hours performed for the reception. Phil had everyone dancing all night. I don't normally like bands but they did such good job that at times I forgot it was a band. Phil's prices are reasonable and he seems willing to do anything to make a bride and groom happy.

There are too many good things I can say about After Hours and how amazing they made our wedding. After seeing them at a showcase I knew right away that I wanted them to do my wedding. Specifically requesting Phil as an MC because he is enthusiastic, funny, entertaining, and makes it his business to get to know the bride and groom. He also took beautiful pictures for the slide show displayed at the wedding and immediately available online to look at the day after our wedding. Our friends and family were so impressed that two of my best friends decided to book After Hours for their wedding. They are the best out there on Long Island and we've seen just about all DJs out there!

Another company I cannot say enough about. I worked directly with Phil the owner. Our DJ selection was so simple - we had a meeting with Phil where he provide us with a folder inside there was a DVD. My husband and I went home and watched the DVD where we were able to see all the MC in action. Not only did we get the DVD, Phil invited us to a wedding showcase, were we fell in love with his MC Harry.
We went back to his office and booked. No troubles, no hassles. His contracts were clear, what he offered was apparent. His quick responses to emails/phone calls were like no other.
We also decided to do a Red Carpet walk - our guests had so much fun. You can look on his FB page to find them.
Great company, very professional and Harry kept our party moving while the red carpet team had everyone Smiling!!

Absolutely the best! We just wanted a DJ, no MC, no add-ons. After meeting with DJ Brett, we loved his vibe and knew this was our guy. He rocked the party so hard our dance floor wasn't even the least bit sparse at any point in the evening. He was really respectful of our playlist, but we told him to play whatever popular music he felt would get people moving, and it was fantastic. For cocktail hour, we requested a few bands, one of which he never heard of. He researched and played the band's best songs without us making a list of what they are. On the business side of things, Phil was phenomenal to work with - awesome energy, no nonsense, answers emails and returns calls literally within minutes. As you plan your wedding, you will find how incredibly valuable responsiveness like that really is.

We knew we wanted to book with Phil from the moment we met him. He had great energy, was friendly and funny, and we knew he would be the perfect fit for our wedding. He provided hot pink up lighting for our ballroom (that other dj's told me didn't exist!) and it made the room look amazingly beautiful. The dance floor was packed all night. Everyone was having a great time. He played every song I asked for and none of the ones i didn't want.

We did not interview many DJs...in fact I only met and hired this company based on the reviews on this website. I am so happy that I did too! We used Phil Villarro as our MC, along with Babo on the drums, and paid for light pink uplighting and our name in lights. From start to finish it was an absolute pleasure working with Phil and such a smooth transaction. Phil was full of all the right energy, truly pumped up my guests without being over bearing and Babo kept the beat going all night long. I had guests who specificially came over to me at the end of the night just to compliment me on this DJ and request their card. When looking for a DJ for our wedding we went straight to the best man for suggestions. Right off the bat he told us "After Hours Music & Entertainment". He apparently went to two weddings that they DJ’d and they were by far his absolute favorite.
My fiancée and I felt that the recommendation was enough and called up Phil Vollaro the owner to discuss pricing. We chose not to go to a showcase and although for some couples they may need to do a meeting in person , we advised Phil that we would prefer to do everything over the phone and email. He understood our laid back approach to booking and within a few days we had provided our music selections and everything was set. The week prior we found out who our MC was and how to get in touch with him for any changes in our selections.
Our MC Brett was wonderful to work with and definitely made our wedding a blast for us and our guests. We are so happy we booked with After Hours and cannot wait to book for upcoming celebrations in our family.

I knew I was going to use Phil after our first meeting. He had such a pure energy about him you could tell he loves his job. Beyond that, he gave me everything I wanted AND MORE for less than they other guys were charging. I'm not kidding. Here is what we had:
A. Ceremony: Live musicians, mic for officiant
B. Cocktail Hour: Live musicians indoors, piped in music outdoors
C. Reception: DJ, MC, percussionist (OFF THE HOOK!!!!)
D. Lighting: We had uplighting all around the room - gorgeous with the ceiling drapery.
E. Photobooth: My guests loved the photo booth - phil provided props, a guest book, a USB with all the pictures and an attended. the only downside was that my name was spelled wrong on the picture strips. I forgive that though because it was such a hit! I provided some of my own props as well, including cardboard cut outs of my and DH's heads when we were nine years old - on a stick - so people could take picutres with them
F. Snack Truck: This was the best! The truck parked outside of Land's End and was stocked with drinks and EVERY time of candy and baked good you could imagine. This was AWESOME!!! A huge hit!

I booked with After Hours as soon as I got engaged! From the moment that I spoke with Phil, I knew that he was the person that I wanted in charge of the music on my wedding day! Well, he certainly did not dissapoint! Throughout the time leading up to my wedding I had made a gazillion changes to my contract, I was sure that Phil was going to kill me! But, he was always extremely accomodating any time that I had called or e-mailed him to make a revision. I ended up using After Hours for: My ceremony music (String Trio), uplighting, DJ, MC, Percussionist, and light up front board and vertical towers. I went crazy, but it was all worth it! The strings were AMAZING at the ceremony - so unbelievably beautiful. My room looked amazing with the uplighting, and the light up board and towers. And I had Phil, Bret, and Bopa on the night of the wedding. My dance floor was packed all night, there was never a song that came on that I didnt like. First off, Phil and the Afterhours band did an AMAZING job at our wedding. We used them for our ceremony music (string trio) and the Band/DJ combo for the reception. There were so many people we heard compliments from, ranging from thinking that it was actually the song playing and not the band (since they hit every song right on) to that was the best wedding band they've ever heard. I have to admit I was somewhat skeptical at first in even using a band but my husband is the one that wanted it. Since we couldn't decide we got both the band and the DJ which worked out nice. The energy that they brought was great and the variety of music that they can play really was awesome. They really did a nice job of sequencing the sets so that there was something for everyone. Phil as an MC was amazing providing the right amount of energy to the night. We also had the band do our first dance songs and again, I was hesitant about not having the 'real' version of the songs, but they blew me away. Phil was a pleasure to work with and very helpful along the way especially with suggestions and with decision making. I highly recommend them.

I love After Hours Entertainment, Phil is amazing and never sleeps, he's amazing with email correspondence, he delivered a package for me that was out of this world, with intelligent lighting 4 towers, plasmas, gobos, uplighting, zap photos which were a Godsend and more. Dj Carlton and Brett were phenomenal, they kept my african wedding guests dancing all night. They made sure we were happy and were very respectful to our culture. One of my favorite vendors, 100% satisfied and can't beat the price, they will really work to make sure you are happy.
