I would pick ae creative 1000x over
Hiring Abby and her team at ae creative was seriously the best decision I could have made for my wedding day. I lived out of town from Bend, OR so I knew I needed someone to help guide me and be able to communicate from afar. I hired ae creative for full wedding planning, as I was the Bride that knew I would need a lot of help in the creative department and I didn't want to be stressed by anything throughout or on the day of... which I can say Abby handled everything seamlessly and I had no worries day of or throughout. Abby always was prompt to answer my questions and anytime I thought maybe I had forgotten something she already had it taken care of.
I really had no idea what I wanted our wedding to look like and with the help of Abby I can say she helped create a wedding that was perfectly unique to my husband and I. She also thought of so many things I would have never thought of, like hiring a shuttle for our guests, not to mention she knew all the right vendors to work with. I had so many comments after the wedding about how beautiful and smooth the wedding went. Literally, we cannot think of one hiccup and if there was one I know that Abby and her team handled it right away, so wouldn't even know. I would strongly recommend ae creative, don't even think twice about it, just hire Abby and her team!-

Couldn’t have done it without ae creative
We hired Abby and her team at ae creative for partial planning services and I’m so grateful for their help in making my wedding day so beautiful and perfect.
Abby was crucial in thinking of things I would have never even thought of if I was to plan the wedding by myself. She encouraged us to hire shuttle services for our guests which ended up being the BEST idea ever and I’m not sure what our guests would have done without that option, just due to the parking/location of our venue. She also knew the ins and outs of all Central Oregon venues and the best vendors to partner with for each location. She helped us connect with caterers, a calligrapher, an arbor rental company, shuttle services, porta potty rentals, and more.
The thing I love most about Abby is her demeanor. She was calm and kind and wonderful through the whole process. After being involved in weddings where the coordinator was high-stress and commanding orders on the day of the wedding, I knew that’s exactly what I didn’t want! Abby was the exact opposite. Her calm demeanor made the wedding flow seamlessly. Everyone commented on how perfect and easy the wedding was. It was exactly what we wanted. Her colleague Madeline also worked alongside us on our wedding day and had the same wonderful demeanor, which I was so grateful for! They even helped me clean my dress after my dad spilled red wine on me! Haha.
I would highly recommend Abby, Madeline, and all of ae creative if you are getting married in Central Oregon!

Best Wedding Decision We Made!
AE Creative worked so hard to bring my wedding dream to life and they completely exceeded my expectations. My husband and I hired Abby for her full suite of services to prepare us leading up to the wedding and on our wedding day. Abby is so talented, we also ended up working with her to design and send out our invitations and rent a lot of her wedding décor. Abby and her team are professional, accommodating, organized, detail-oriented, creative, and SO easy to work with. From partnering with me and my husband on wedding style/decor to ensuring that the day of the wedding we could just enjoy our guests - they literally took care of everything. Even my family and friends commented on how relaxed we were on the day of the wedding. AE Creative took care of everything from start to finish. Despite living out of state, Abby was able to truly understand our needs throughout the wedding process. She gave us confidence ahead of our wedding date that everything would go off without a hitch. Abby really got to know me and my husband and our wedding felt so "uniquely us". She added special surprise touches to the wedding that brought out our interests and personality. She really does invest time in each of her clients and it shows. I cannot recommend AE Creative enough - it was the best wedding decision we made! I already miss working with them. Thank you for being part of our truly magical day!-

It's difficult to put into words what an amazing job Abby and the AE Creative team did planning our wedding and reception. The best way I can describe our experience with AE Creative is that my wife and I were able to relax and truly enjoy our special day without stress or worry. Abby was a delight to work with - she knows her stuff and helped me handle details I wouldn't have even thought of! I don't live in the area, so she was able to oversee a lot of vendor details while we planned and prepared for the big day. She knows everyone in the area, so she had recommendations and resources for all our needs (favors, transportation, babysitting etc.). On the day of she helped everything run smoothly and was quick-thinking and solution-oriented when a few details needed to change as the day unfolded. She's a lovely person and a true pro. Could not recommend working with her more highly! -

We hired Abby of A&E for our daughter's wedding in February. We researched wedding planners and Abby received the most positive reviews from clients and vendors. We were EXTREMELY happy with Abby's professionalism and talent. My daughter and I are very organized so it was a pleasure to work with someone with great ideas and organizational skills. Abby also worked on the Rehearsal Dinner. Both events were amazing and beautiful. Our friends are still talking about "the best wedding ever"! We never could have pulled off such an amazing weekend without Abby and her team. We never had one worry or one glitch. We all had a great relaxing time knowing we were in Abby's very capable hands. Choosing to work with Abby and the AE Creative team was the best choice I could have made for my wedding. Abby was fun, productive, and extremely receptive of my ideas. Organizing a wedding from a different state is never easy. But Abby made it seem so easy! She is fantastic to work with. She’s so dedicated and has a very good eye for detail.
We met up with her twice before the actual wedding. The first time was 6 months before the wedding to go over our timeline, vendors, ideas, wishes etc. The second time was for the rehearsal dinner. Otherwise we stayed in contact with email or via phone and Abby was always quick in responding to us
The wedding day itself was very smooth and beautifully designed and decorated.
I highly recommend Abby as a wedding planner.

As mother of the bride and being out of state, I knew we had to hire a wedding planner. Who to choose? We were so fortunate to choose Abby for any number of reasons. She connected us with the best of the best in Bend, we locked in the right people very early in the process and as we got closer were delighted to see how professional everyone was. Most importantly Abby was there all the way through and especially on the wedding day. My daughter was able to fully enjoy being the bride. There was no stress for any of us, just love and the most incredible wedding any family could hope for. My daughter told me she wanted to do it again! I would absolutely recommend AeCreative. I hired Abby for the day of coordination plus - she did everything I expected and so much more! She went above and beyond every step of the way. We used AE Creative's 'Day Of' package which, for us, was the perfect fit. We planned all of our own details but as mother of the bride, I wanted to enjoy the day and let someone else orchestrate the actual event. It worked out perfectly, Mallory and Brie ran the rehearsal like pros and were able to take some of my random decor/vintage items and place them in the perfect spot. I had a vision, and was able to get things 75% there, but needed that extra help completing 'the look'. The day was flawless and the peace of mind their services/help gave me was totally worth it! I would use them again in a heartbeat. -

Abby is one of a kind! We had phone interviewed 3 other 'day of coordinators' and were sure we wouldn't find a coordinator that best fit 'us'... than we met Abby (insert heart eyes emoji.) Abby has a great balance of leadership and compassion. She has great insight on all aspect of your wedding day and events leading up to the day. She was a huge help in making our day truly perfect! We can't say enough amazing things about Abby! My (now) husband would always joke during our wedding planning process that I wanted her to be my best friend, and it's a little true! But more a testament to how awesome she is. She's professional, she has an amazing sense of design, she suggested perfect ideas that I wouldn't have even thought of, she's logistically unstoppable, and during the wedding, I was actually partying with friends and family and not worrying about a thing! When I used to hear married people describe their wedding as "best day ever" I would do an eye roll and think how cheesy... But now I get it. And I owe that to Abby. We also hired Phil and The Broomsmen to do the set-up/clean-up.. highly recommended as well!! They are the Dream Team. Thank you so so so so much! love, your BFF -

Abby was amazing as our wedding planner! We had already done the majority of the bookings and planning, but we decided that we needed professional help to ensure all the final touches before and on our special day were put together. She pulled through in a bigger way than we ever expected. She was so good at getting the full picture of what our vision was, asking us all the right questions, and then anticipating our every need. She was very flexible with meeting places, phone consults, and even running errands for us. Abby was professional, experienced, friendly, calm, and an all around joy to work with. Thank you Abby and everyone at AE Creative! I was unsure if I wanted a small ceremony, or if I wanted to elope with my husband. After speaking with Abby, I had decided that I wanted our families present for our special day, so I went with a small ceremony. Since I was busy with my own business, I knew I was going to be pretty absent in the planning of my wedding. Abby interviewed me and my husband on all of our likes and dislikes, and then we let her take full control over the wedding, and we are so happy that we did!!! She created and developed the most beautiful day I could have every imagined. She thought of things that I would have never thought of, and delivered on everything she said she would. I had a budget that I wanted to stick to, and I did not know if a wedding planner was going to fit into it, but I am so happy I spent my money on your service and time. I've had the opportunity to see Abby in action in several capacities; I've been to several weddings that she has planned and I hired her to plan my destination wedding as well! Abby is very organized, professional, and an expert in making sure everything is on-track and that all events are on time and as smooth as possible. She did all of the behind-the-scenes work on my wedding day so I didn't have to worry about a thing. Her eye for design is impeccable; she did all of our invites, programs, and thank you cards and they were absolutely amazing. I would highly recommend Abby to anyone! -

I am so glad I hired Abby and ae creative for day-of wedding coordination. She kept my husband and I sane, helped us with the timing of our event, advised us about catering, provided last minute decor, and on the day of our wedding, decorated the venue perfectly. The most important thing to me, though, was her easy-going and positive attitude. Our families and vendors enjoyed interacting with her. She and her co-worker were such welcome additions at the event itself. There were several times on the day before and day of the wedding, when I reminded myself "It's okay, because we've got Abby." And I was right. (I am also a little obsessed with her wedding design work and styling.) -

We hired Abby as our day-of coordinator for our wedding at Mt. Pisgah Arboretum in Eugene, OR. She was absolutely amazing, I would 100% recommend her to family, friends, strangers, dogs, cats. . . . pretty much anyone getting married. Abby was friendly and helpful from the first time I contacted her. We found her prices to be some of the most affordable for the area and we really trusted her eye for design and decor when it came to wedding-day set-up. I did the wedding planning and DIY'd a lot of the items/decor involved in our wedding, we also rented several items from Abby. We met in person once before the wedding and spoke on the phone several times, plus many e-mails. She was always professional and responded promptly. Since I am the first in my friend group to get married, I had a lot of logistical and practical questions for her, and I really trusted her opinion because of her experience and talent.
When it came to the day of, Abby was a complete rock star. She attended/ran our rehearsal the day before, then set up the ceremony site/reception hall the day-of beautifully. She really went above and beyond, by writing on and decorating the chalkboard signs and even using some of her extra decor items to decorate everything. Everything during the wedding went smoothly and was on time thanks to her, I didn't worry at all. She even arranged the flowers on our cake and they looked freakin amazing! I can't explain enough how wonderful the reception was thanks to her and how much our guests (and us!) enjoyed the whole experience. On top of it all, Abby is a sweet and kind person, which makes it really easy and fun to work with her.
If you are wondering about a day-of coordinator, don't! It was money very well spent to not worry about set-up, decor, and keeping the event flowing smoothly. Please please hire her!!!!!!

Abby is a delight! She helped me with planning and provided adorable rental items for my July wedding. I loved that she was thorough and flexible. She put me at ease pre-wedding and on my wedding day. I hardly saw her on the day of because she was busily taking care of EVERY detail so that I didn't have to. Having a wedding planner makes such a huge difference--I can't recommend her enough! -

We hired AE Creative for our Gender Reveal Party and could not be happier that we did. Everything down to the last detail was perfect. It was a black and white theme and even every food item matched perfectly. We wanted something slightly different than the traditional gender reveals that we found online and Pinterest, and Abby definitely did not disappoint, in fact she went above and beyond with such creative ideas. We could not be happier with the outcome of the design, the food, the reveal part of the party...I mean everything. We all had such a wonderful time and I have heard nothing but wonderful, positive comments from so many of our guests every day since the party! James and I could not have done this wedding without Abby, Dayna and AE Creative Team. The services we used were her invitation design, day-of coordination, and decor rentals; if I could go back, I'd also choose to do styling as well (thought I could do it on my own but realized its much to stressful to do especially if bride and groom work full-time). Abby designed our invitations and they reflected the look of our wedding perfectly. It was so helpful that the team assembled the whole suite ribbons, wax seal, stamp and all. All we had to do was seal and give them to the postman. Abby was full of advice throughout the entire process and gave such helpful ideas. She helped me pull all my ideas into a timeline and worked with my onsite coordinators at Pronghorn before the date and put me at ease going into the wedding weekend. The day before the wedding, she was onsite wrapping up final details with the resort and working with my wedding officiant for the wedding rehearsal and it went so smoothly. It was actually very fun! On the day of, she took care of everything. I was the calmest bride and I couldn't help thanking my former self for hiring her. AE Creative is what wedding dreams are made-of. They are indispensible for a BEAUTIFUL and ORGANIZED wedding experience. -

Mallory and Abby were a pleasure to work with. My event was relatively small compared to what they're used to, and at their busiest time of year. In the beginning, I really didn't have a clear vision but they were patient and very helpful in getting me there. They have excellent design ideas and were very adept and interpreting my preferences. They were also very flexible as I changed my mind a few times. On the day of the event, Mallory spent the entire day decorating and arranging flowers. The venue was stunning and so much better than I could have imagined. She handled everything so I could enjoy my guests and relax. The weekend was fantastic and everyone had a wonderful time. Abby made us a custom logo that we then used on beer and wine glasses as favors for our guests. We also used the logo in a few other places (stickers for back of invites, headings on programs, etc...). Loved her custom work and everyone was impressed with the results. Abby is indeed a creative and design-oriented wedding coordinator. She was able to identify the gaps in our wedding plan and helped us pull it together in style. Her rental selection was a life saver. We planned most of our decor ourselves, and needed help with execution on the days prior and set-up the day of the wedding. Most of this went according to plan, but there were some gaps/shortcuts. Had we known, we would have asked some friends/family to lend a hand. We also would have loved a heads-up about the take-down the day after, which took us by surprise when we had to spend hours doing it ourselves. Our advice--pay someone to take down your decorations if you plan to have a brunch to see off your guests!
As a general comment to brides/grooms who are doing the bulk of the planning for their own weddings, I'd recommend having people from your wedding party/friends/family on hand to help your coordinator get everything set-up in case he/she needs the extra labor.
All weddings have their snags, and planning is never perfect. Your coordinator needs as much info from you as possible. Our impression of AE Creative is great--we certainly recommend her services very highly! -

We hired Abby as our day of coordinator for our April wedding. I planned most of the wedding myself, but wanted someone to handle final logistics, take the lead on the rehearsal and the actual event.
For most of the things we needed, Abby did a great job picking up extra tasks (eg, for an extra fee she built a wedding arch and rented it to us), and setting up for our wedding. She helped manage the rehearsal, and kept us on our timeline during the ceremony/reception. She was friendly and helpful. I would recommend her for a bride/groom that wants someone who can make sure an existing detailed plan happens as expected. She can do the major things that need to be done as a wedding day coordinator, and I can imagine that she will continue to improve with more experience.
There were some areas that could be improved in the future:
-I was counting on Abby to handle last minute logistics, help move guests to the right places, and think through each important part of the event to ensure it unfolded as we’d envisioned. When we did our cake cutting we didn’t have a microphone and many people were still in the hallway leading to the dining area. Only a few people were able to hear our comments to the group, and after the cake cutting there was an awkward moment when my groom and I had to usher people back to the dance floor ourselves. I felt left in the lurch at that moment with an important part of our day as a big disappointment. I did not get the impression she had a lot of confidence managing large groups of people.
-Abby likes to have at least three or four hours for setting up the wedding décor (assuming that is what you want her to do), so plan that in for your overall day-of timeline. I didn’t know if I would be charged for this additional time until two days before the wedding and it seems like this is something that could be communicated in advance once the day-of timeline is finalized.
in general she did a pretty good job for what we needed. -
