They have great communication and are very punctual. They are truly artists that capture life long memories. If you want the best of the best definitely go with them you will not regret it. The Most Incredible Experience
Adri and her team were absolutely amazing! From start to finish, they were timely, professional, and true experts at what they do. My husband and I are not very comfortable in front of the camera, but somehow they made us feel completely at ease. Adri communicated poses so clearly and naturally, which helped us loosen up and actually enjoy the process. The experience felt effortless, and the results were exactly what we hoped for. She also gave us some incredible recommendations for places to stay, and we ended up booking what is now our favorite hotel in the world!
Adri went above and beyond with the little details too. She helped organize our bouquet and boutonnière by working directly with the hotel, which made everything effortless on our end.
Honestly, we still laugh about how it didn’t feel like a typical wedding — Adri took care of so much that it felt like we just got to show up and enjoy our day. It was exactly the experience we wanted.

Beyond Grateful!
We had the absolute pleasure of working with Adri and Dharma, and I can honestly say they exceeded every expectation! From the moment we met, they made us feel completely at ease. We were having a small elopement with just myself, partner and daughter, so she kind of doubled as a wedding planner as well! Adri did an amazing job helping us to select a gorgeous location that was private and beautiful, recommended an officiant (Marcelo!) and arranged a detailed timeline to help us navigate the day.
Their day of photography approach was incredibly organic and natural. Nothing felt forced or overly posed, yet somehow they captured every meaningful detail with such intention and artistry. They created space for us to just be ourselves, and as a result, the photos feel like us.

We cannot recommend our wedding photographer and videographer enough. Based in Tamarindo, they made our destination wedding in Costa Rica feel so special from start to finish. We eloped in Costa Rica and our number one priority for our wedding (next to location) was photographer/videographer. Their social media presence/website/pictures/videos were exactly my vibe. I was drawn to the editorial edit and their story telling. After meeting with Adri via zoom, I knew she was the perfect fit. Her energy was high, super friendly and made me feel confident that she would capture our wedding perfectly.
The day felt like a dream. The team was amazing and super professional. They made us feel super comfortable right away. It honestly felt like friends taking our photos with how much they made us laugh. Still being professional with directing us and giving us great tips on how to make us look even better in photos with certain poses without being too "posed". They also worked around what felt like a short timeframe and my 2 year old who was napping when they arrived :). They got all the detailed shots I had requested with the wedding planner.
We received the sneak peaks within a week and I absolutely fell in love with the photos Adri captured. It honestly brought me back to all the beautiful moments. I cannot wait to see the rest.

The best team!
Adri & Lucas were truly AMAZING. They were so involved and ready to get to know my husband and I from the beginning to be able to make our wedding day extra special. They took every detail into consideration and made sure to capture them accordingly. They made me feel so special and cared for on my wedding day and I am so grateful for that. They made sure I was taken care of and we’re my shoulders to lean on when things got stressful!! They both made sure I was comfortable and happy while always having a smile on their faces! We came across Adri after our initial photographer fell through. Although stressful at the time, this ended up being a blessing in disguise. After working with Adri and her team, I can’t imagine having any other photographer take pictures of the most important day of our life, our wedding. Adri was extremely responsive leading up to our wedding. She had me send her the type of pictures I liked using my Pinterest page and a list of “must have” shots. Prior to the wedding, she walked us through the timeline (one that she collaborated on with our wedding planner), provided advice, and helped to remove any nerves we had. On the day of the wedding, she showed up full of energy! She was so fun to work with, along with her assistant! They did a great job capturing candid, beautiful shots. We had a sneak peek within a week and the picture she got took my breath away. I cannot wait to see what the rest of them look like! Definitely don’t hesitate to go with Adri and her team! If you're considering Lucas, Adri, and their amazing team (shoutout to Dharma and Jurgen!) for your wedding, stop thinking and just book them. They are beyond talented and an absolute dream to work with.
They captured every special moment of our Indian-American gay wedding in Tamarindo, Costa Rica, and we honestly couldn’t be happier with the results. From the Haldi to the Sangeet to the wedding day itself, they documented each event so beautifully. They even came early to our Sangeet to capture all the decor and little details we had worked so hard on. Their enthusiasm for shooting an Indian wedding was infectious, and you could tell how much they cared about getting it right.
We found them through our amazing wedding planner, Karen at Tropical Occasions, and choosing them was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding.
What stood out most to us was their vibe—friendly, creative, and genuinely excited to be there. They made us and our guests feel completely comfortable, and it shows in the photos and videos. Everyone kept raving about how incredible they were!
On top of that, they were so quick with everything! Our wedding had a lot of events, but they still sent us a sneak peek right away, had beautiful Instagram stories ready for us, and delivered the entire album in less than three months. That kind of turnaround is practically unheard of, and we appreciated it so much.
I’m admittedly a perfectionist and asked a lot of questions throughout the process, but Lucas and Adri were incredibly patient and accommodating every step of the way. They always kept us in the loop, handled edit requests like pros, and were so approachable no matter how small the ask. It’s rare to find a team this talented and this kind.
And the results? Stunning. Every photo, every teaser, every frame of the full video feels like it reflects us and our personalities. We wanted a fun, unique vibe for our wedding, and they captured it perfectly. We still find ourselves watching the teaser videos every few days because they’re just that good.
Lucas and Adri aren’t just some of the best photographers and videographers in Costa Rica—they’re some of the best, period. We can’t recommend them enough. Do yourself a favor and hire them; you’ll thank yourself every time you look back at your photos and videos. -

Adri and Lucas were fantastic to work with! The energy they brought was beautiful and got our wedding party excited about the photo sessions, despite how hot it was! They truly celebrated us and were our photography hype team. We booked them for a very long period of time (especially for a small wedding) to ensure we had photos from start to finish. They captured all elements we wanted. They photographed the decor of the venue really well, and highlighted the gorgeous views of the venue. Our absolute favorites were the dance party pics. We were able to have a blast with our friends and family during the experience and Adri and Lucas just added to the fun.
We also recommend you do a sunset beach session the day before with your family and wedding party! It adds even more fun to the event and the pictures turned out gorgeous. We especially loved that Adri helped with tips about what outfits would photograph the best. Super helpful and we ended up looking amazing! -

I loved this photography team so much 😍 having an elopement in a new country was overwhelming but all 3 of them made us feel so comfortable! We are very uncomfortable in front of the camera and they all helped give us tips and tricks to make it look more natural. I truly loved that they brought us to a separate beach from our resort (they even took us on their car!), this beach was more private and it felt so special ♥️ They also took time to come to a waterfall the next day to take pictures and video which I loved how unique that was! I feel so blessed to have Adri's positive and fun energy supporting us throughout the wedding day, and it shows in the photos where everyone is bursting with joy!
Adri is one of the best in terms of the 5+ professional photoshoots i've done in my life. She not only masters the lighting and framing, but, more importanty, she brings out your "beautiful true self" in photos. Despite meeting in person for the first time during the wedding weekend, I immediately felt at ease with Adri thanks to her pre-work getting to know us and our story. She expertly directed everyone to ensure they felt comfortable and were having fun, which resulted in an insane number of incredible photos. I'm immensly grateful for the care in which she navigated the language and cultural differences given most of my family didn't speak English and we had Western and Chinese events. She was proactive in kepting me updated on the editing process and incorporated my feedback, ensuring I was thrilled with the final result.

Beyond the actual pictures, which are absolutely incredible and capture all of the emotions of the day SO well, the way this team makes you feel on one of the most important days of your life is indescribable. I cannot say enough good things about this company. My photographer was Lucas-him and his team did an outstanding job. He captured all the beautiful details of the wedding and guests. Looking at them takes me right back to our special day. I am not a naturally photogenic person, and taking great photos doesn't come naturally for me. I cannot say enough positive things about our experience. After jumping on a quick zoom meeting with Lucas I immediately knew we made the right choice. Communication was easy, filling out the pre-shoot questionnaire made me confident we would get the photos and style we wanted. My husband hates photos and Lucas made us feel so comfortable. Adri and Lucas were amazing to work with from the beginning. They want to know what pictures are most important to the couples! I love the style if their photo's so picking them was not a difficult decision. Adri and her assistant were so wonderful the day of the wedding. They capture pictures very quickly so you don't feel like you spend the whole day taking photo's. They were also so fun to have at the reception while they were getting candids of guests dancing!

What an amazing experience!
Lucas was absolutely wonderful. From the moment we reached out, there was open communication and quick responses. We were nervous as we never had professional photos done before but upon meeting we both instantly felt comfortable. Lucas and Jurgan were very personable and both easy going so during the shoot we were able to relax, joke around, and never felt rushed. They also didn't hesitate to have fun and even got in the water with us! We were looking for an intimate, memorable and adventurous day and feel like that was fully accomplished thanks to their help and suggestions.
Our sneak peak came so quickly and instantly had me in tears. We couldn't be happier with our choice, we would highly recommended and would book with them 1000x again.

Starting by helping us plan a destination wedding from afar, she was able to answer questions about the resort and helped create our day of timeline. We cannot even begin to explain just how overjoyed we are with the work of Adri and her team. She went ABOVE and BEYOND to provide us with the BEST possible experience, and far exceeded our expectations. We knew through our very first video call that she was our girl (in fact, she was the first and only photographer we chatted with and we felt THIS confident with our decision).

I can't even begin to put into words how wonderful of a photographer Adri Mendez is and how amazing of an experience we had working with her for our July 2021 wedding at Villa Punto de Vista in Manuel Antonio. Not only did she take the most amazing photos for us, she was also one of the sweetest people I've ever met...her positive energy was infectious and it felt like working with a close friend we've known for years (which made all the difference for us in terms of feeling comfortable behind the camera!)
Adri is not only a fabulous photographer, but she's also fantastic when it comes to the business side of things. She was so easy to work with...communication was always clear and she was quick to respond to emails, she met deliverable deadlines on time or early, arrived the day of the wedding on time and prepared, and was just all around awesome and professional in every way. She was also SO kind and understanding when we had to postpone our wedding an entire year due to COVID-19.
We couldn't be happier to have found her and we were blown away by our experience with her and the photos we received from our wedding day. Adri was the perfect choice for our wedding. She is extremely professional, but also so fun! She made our whole group laugh and feel at ease while taking photos. She captured the love throughout the day, and seeing the photos brought me to tears! Adri made sure to get all the photos we requested. Another thing we absolutely loved about Adri is she told us the plan as the day went on, and during cocktail hour, she let us mingle with family and friends (and get a few drinks in!) in between taking photos. During our couple session, she guided us on how to pose as we are not really used to getting our picture taken. Overall I am so happy with our choice, Adri could not have been more perfect. One of the most important (if not THE most important) decision you will make for your wedding day is your photographer. This person is there, alongside your closest family and friends, to capture the most important memories of one of the most important days of your life. All I can say is WE ARE SO GLAD WE CHOSE ADRI!!! If you’ve seen examples of her work, you already know how gorgeous her photography style is. She’s clearly highly skilled and has an exceptional gift that separates her from the rest. I couldn’t imagine a better photographer for our wedding..
Adri was the perfect photographer for our elopement in Costa Rica. She’s a little ball of energy and really made sure that we were not only taking amazing pictures but also happy, engaged with each other and enjoying ourselves. The pictures were beyond any words and the experience was everything we wanted. Her and Oscar (videographer who she works with…also AMAZING!) went out of their way to get footage. On our wedding day we had a crazy storm and weren’t t able to take many pictures outside so they drove for hours a couple of days later to meet us at another location just so that we’d be able to have more pictures at no extra cost. They are truly special and we felt blessed to have them. They went above and beyond to make our special day extra special. -

I knew that I wanted to do an engagement photoshoot in Costa Rica with a local photographer while traveling there. I picked Adri based on the aesthetic that I saw on her Instagram and website... classy, authentic, modern, and just special. Adri was very communicative before the session and I could feel her positive energy before we met. I asked her tons of questions and shared a pretty specific vision with her, which she took into account for the shoot. Her knowledge of Costa Rica's landscape and climate was vital--she worked with us in the days leading into the session to make sure we shot when it wasn't raining and with amazing light. She's so energetic and funny in person, which really helped eased my fiance's nerves about getting his photos taken. Adri and Lucas have lots of little tricks that they tell you to do while they're shooting to make you laugh. I ended up actually having a good time during the shoot, which I did not expect.
My photos are everything. I can't believe they're of me! They're going to hold up over time and help my fiance and I remember beautiful Costa Rica. Love them. -

If I could’ve brought Adri home with me, I would’ve. Besides taking AMAZING pictures, she is the ultimate hype woman for someone who is uncomfortable being in front of the camera and sooo much fun to be around!
Although my husband and I tried our best to budget well for our wedding, there were two things I wouldn’t skimp on: photography and videography. I’m so glad I didn’t because we couldn’t be happier with the way our photos turned out - she captured our personalities and relationship so beautifully.
Our couples session was on the beach and we were so nervous at first because my dress had a long train and I figured it would be ruined after all of the wet sand, but Adri said Pura Vida! so we went with it. No regrets. The pictures are amazing and my dress came out totally fine!

Don't just take my word for it, I actually made a list of what my friends and family said about my photography, they said it was: "stunning," "breathtaking," "magical," "gorgeous", "like a dream" but my favorite word to describe her work is "Enchanting"
I had a lot of different shots that I wanted to get on my wedding day and Adri did a wonderful job at managing our time so we could get it all! My venue was so dynamic, but we got shots of everything from getting ready photos to the first look, to shots on the beach, the ceremony, wedding party photos, reception, and the dance floor.
Please consider hiring Adri if you are getting married in Costa Rica. You don't get a redo when it comes to photos on your wedding day. She knows what shots to get, how to work with the sunsets and the lighting. Adri is worth every penny. Your photos will be priceless.

I've seen that in a personal setting as well, for family photos, as my son gets so caught up giggling with her that he completely forgets he doesn't like cooperating with his photo being taken. Adri's photos have a soft romantic feel, while still keeping colors vibrant, and a touch of magic that I think comes from her ability to capture lighting so beautifully. I can't recommend Adri enough :) -

Adri was an absolute pleasure to work with. We were traveling for our wedding to Costa Rica and wanted someone local who understood lighting and would be a great day of asset. Adri Mendez was hands down the best photographer we could have ever dreamed of for our wedding.
When choosing to have a destination wedding we knew we wanted someone local who understood the light and vibe of Costa Rica, which is what led us to Adri. I admired her work on Instagram for her creative use of light and was blown away when I got our wedding photos back. Adri was professional, organized, responsive, timely and spent time to read our wedding website and Skype with us prior to arriving in Costa Rica to better understand what we envisioned for our wedding day.

Perfection!
From day one, Adri was very interested and excited to be a part of our big day! She was responsive and helpful in every way possible! She sent questionnaires ahead of time to ensure I would get every picture I wanted and she more than delivered! She kindly offered us a free sunrise engagement session on the day of our wedding, and was so happy and warm and made us feel so special! Starting our biggest day with her definitely took away a lot of the stress! During the ceremony and afterwards, she was somehow everywhere at once! I did not notice her running around during the ceremony, but she must have been because she captured every angle and every photo I could ever want. I am extremely pleased with not only Adri herself, but the photos she delivered and her high spirits that kept us going throughout the day. Anyone would be lucky to have Adri as their wedding photographer! I am an amateur photographer myself and am VERY picky when it comes to photos, but Adri impressed me more than any photographer I have ever met! She is extremely talented, fast, and good at giving direction to execute her creative ideas! Overall, I seriously think I told her I loved her after only knowing her only one full day (in person anyway) because she is just that lovable! I cannot rave enough how amazing she is!!! -
