Elizabeth Sent on 11/15/2012Added Touch catering was a joy to work with. Our planner was Melissa, and she did a fantastic job working with us on our wedding appetizers, salad, and entrees. We did passed appetizers, and a seated, plated salad and entree course for our guests. She worked with and stuck to our strict budget, which was a huge help during our planning process. We ended up with about 88 guests, and never felt like our plans were "too small"!
What we LOVE about Added Touch is how healthy, bright, colorful, and fun their food is! Everything not only looks beautiful, but tastes amazing too! We didn't want typical wedding food. We wanted a menu that reflects the way my husband and I normally eat, so we went with Mediterranean flavors, choosing a flavorful chicken and blackened tilapia entree choice and a fabulous "Perfect Pear" salad. Their presentation is flawless, interesting, and easy. They also did a cruditee table and a salmon terrine (SO delicious) and hummus as a grazing station while appetizers were passed. I heard nothing but great things from our guests, and we always had plenty to go around - no skimping on the appetizers here!
We felt their prices were very fair - not over-done like so many companies. While not needed for our menu, I believe they can work with kosher needs, and they also provided a gluten-free option for two of my guests at the last minute.
Melissa was very easy-going, worked with us to ensure the tables received the correct menu choices, and was responsive to all our questions. We also met with Sandra, the owner, who just loves food and her clients, and puts a lot of work into each of her contracts - large or small.
Very highly recommended caterer - we loved our experience with Added Touch! -

told me when we started working on our menu was how different it is
doing an event for family. I am so glad that at a certain point I
could relinquish control and know you would take care of everything.
The food, menu, and display was perfect. We have had many compliments
on the buffet and everyone loved the family style salads and relaxed,
yet nice, atmosphere. I'm sure my family and I drove Heather crazy
with our constant changes and email exchanges and you never made me
feel like I was over-stepping or bothering you. It was wonderful that
I could have my input and design influence, but know you would fill in
any gaps and or change things that would work better.
It's hard to take in everything the evening of, between speeches,
whiskey drinks, and saying hello to every person my family has ever
known, but I really tried to step back experience it. Some highlights
that you took care of: the long table for Danya's friends look
awesome! I know Heather had a little freak-out when she saw they were
mis-matched, but I loved it. Mason Murer is so slick and white walled,
I loved having the eclectic elements to balance it out and make it a
little more "Danya."
Revealing the room and pulling out some tables to the front, made a
huge impact and looked spectacular. The yellow napkins and ties were a
great touch, simple yet added a needed pop of color. The cake under
the chuppah with the sunflowers looked gorgeous (totally unexpected!),
as did the dessert display and we've had many comments on how cute the
ice cream cart was. The books on the buffets looked great, and of
course the food was delicious. We've had many comments on how nice it
was to have light summer fare so everyone was still up for dancing all
night, which as you saw we certainly did. It was also a real pleasure
to have the ATC staff there. It felt like having family around to see
all my favorite people working there, setting up, serving, bar
tending, etc. I had to stop myself from jumping in to help : )
You did a fantastic job and me and my family couldn't be happier. I
was a joy to just step back and just enjoy the evening.
