We hosted a P.E.P. (Pre-Elopement Party) at Acqua Al 2 and it was truly phenomenal - better than anything we could have imagined.
We had a 25-person sit-down dinner followed by an open bar where more friends joined us to celebrate before we left for Europe. From start to finish, the process was seamless and the professionalism of the entire team was unmatched. They helped us select menu options that were generous in portion, and absolutely delicious (plus they all came out warm). Our guests could not stop raving about the food.
We were a little nervous about cocktail quality given the volume, but every single drink was made as if we sitting at the actual cocktail bar. The presentation, the taste — everything was top-tier.
And the staff? Incredible. Guests were chatting with them like old friends, even introducing them to others - that’s how warm and welcoming everyone was. I wasn’t a “traditional bride,” but multiple staff members still came up to me throughout the night to ask if I needed anything, or if they could get me something. It genuinely felt like they were part of our celebration.
This event was above and beyond what we expected, and we’re still hearing compliments from guests about how well-executed the night was. I could go on and on, but simply put: 12/10 experience.
Whether you're planning a wedding, rehearsal dinner, or your own version of a pre-elopement party - host it at Acqua Al 2. You won’t regret it. -

Danielle and Stacy were absolutely phenomenal. We had the absolute best time!!!! Acqua is such a cute venue, the food is delish, it’s right in the heart of Annapolis, and the staff was FABULOUS. Cannot recommend more! -

Looking for a mostly all in one wedding venue for 100 people or less? Look no further than Acqua Al 2 at the top of Main Street in Annapolis. We truly could not have asked for a better wedding day at Acqua Al 2. We were looking for a very specific vibe for our venue and Acqua absolutely delivered. We loved the entire vibe of the venue and the fact that we just brought in our own DJ, videographer, and photographer and that was it. Our guests could not stop raving about the food and the drinks (especially the mocktails!) and how great of a venue it was. We loved every second of working with Danielle and Stacy and feel like we got so much bang for our buck. Truly cannot stop singing the praises and loved having our quintessential Annapolis wedding here! I love that we get to go back every year to celebrate our anniversary as well since we truly love the food and the environment. -

The Perfect Team for Your Perfect Day
Our wedding at Aqua al 2 in Annapolis was absolutely everything we hoped it would be, and we owe so much of that to the amazing team who helped bring it all to life.
The venue itself was stunning—elegant, warm, and intimate with just the right amount of charm. The staff at Aqua al 2 went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly, and the service was top-notch from beginning to end.
We were lucky enough to have Keemer Entertainment as our DJ, and we can’t say enough great things about them! Keemer was more than just a DJ—he truly set the tone for the entire evening. From the ceremony to the last dance, every moment was perfectly timed, and the energy on the dance floor never dropped. His professionalism, equipment setup, and music selection were all flawless. Guests are still talking about how much fun they had!
And to top it off, we had the incredible Nichole Keemer as our photographer. Nichole captured every detail and emotion so beautifully. She has a gift for catching those genuine, candid moments that really tell the story of the day. We never felt staged or rushed—just completely natural, and the photos reflect that in the best way possible.
If you’re planning a wedding in the Annapolis area, we highly recommend this dream team: Aqua al 2 for the venue, Keemer Entertainment for DJ services, and Nichole Keemer for photography. Together, they made our day unforgettable, and we’re forever grateful.

I worked with Stacy starting last summer to plan a December wedding. We were so lucky and thankful to snag the weekend of December 7th and thanks to her leadership and the amazing team at Acqua, we had the best wedding reception and planned it in just 5 months. I had so many questions during the process and had a pretty strong vision, and Stacy was SO patient, organized, thorough, creative, experienced and kind throughout the entire process. It all came together seamlessly after a lot of work. We had a pretty big party (160 people), live band, tons of dancing, and too much fun! I cannot recommend Acqua Al 2 enough if you are looking for a wedding space that is indoors. The exposed brick and historical charm make for the BEST back drop. We got so many compliments. The food is exceptional, the drinks are high-quality and the location can't be beat being in the heart of Downtown Annapolis. I could go on and on, but just trust me and book this for your wedding!! -

My husband and I could not have picked a better venue for our wedding reception. The entire restaurant has this classy, cozy, timeless feeling. Their food is absolutely delicious! Their event coordinator exuectued our vision flawlessly. We would give anything to experience our night again and again! -

We had the absolute best wedding day at Acqua! We researched every spot around Annapolis and Acqua is hands down the best bang for your buck. The planning process was great, Danielle and Stacy were fantastic and highly responsive. Our only comment would be some confusion on communication about when the venue time actually starts. We delayed our ceremony time by 30 mins but apparently if you book the space starting at 4 you can have your ceremony at 4. Double check on this when making your timeline.
All the guests said this was by far the best food they've ever had at a wedding! The only drawback here was low quantity of food for some tables. Some guests did not get to try certain dishes at all. We did family style and didn't really get a clear idea of how much food would be served ahead of time. There was also no flexibility to have them make a few extra plates even if we offered to pay extra and add it to the bill.
The checkered dance floor was 100% worth it and made everyone want to be on it to dance. Would highly recommend adding this on.
Overall, the staff was excellent! They had the entire ceremony room flipped to dinner tables in about 40 minutes which is incredible! They were very attentive to my wife and I and made sure we had appetizers delivered to us as well as plenty of drinks and food to our sweetheart table. Bartenders were great as well. -

They made our wedding planning experience so easy from the beginning to the end. The atmosphere of the venue is amazing! The bartenders were great, and the food was outstanding! We would 100% recommend this venue! -

We absolutely love Acqua Al 2. We held our wedding there last weekend and everything was spectacular!! We couldn't have asked for a better event. We rented the entire upstairs of the restaurant. The room is rustic and chic. It was the perfect vibe for our ceremony and reception. The Acqua staff had the room set up for the ceremony and cocktail hour and then rapidly "flipped" the ceremony room into our dinner room. The conversion was seamless to us and our guests and both set ups of the room were exquisite and perfect. And the piece de resistance of course was the food. Omigosh the food is sooooo good!! All of our guests raved about it. And it's amazing that they can scale their spectacular food for such a large a group and maintain the fantastic quality. The staff was professional and attentive to all the details. I gave them a 3 on flexibility because they are a bit rigid in their accommodations our individual requests - like storing some decor there prior to the 4pm room access time, modifying the catering menu to include some of their regularly served restaurant dishes and elongating the 5 hour ceremony/reception time block. Although they weren't as flexible as I would have liked, I do attribute that to their strict standards of excellence and for that I'm grateful. They know how to execute what they are good at and their delivery was absolutely exceptional. We will be going back again and again for their extraordinary experience. -
