    Great Service, superb flexibility. The Planner listened to all our requests and took note of important details. We will definitely recommend Ruben to friends and other people looking for a Wedding Planner.

    Our Wedding was spectacular and all thanks to Acepto, Ruben and his professionalism. We were nervous as we were brining all our friends and family from the NYC/New Jersey area and some of the guests were a bit high maintenance but everything went flawless, from the pre planning to the venue to the flowers to the food to the bar and the after party. We could not have done this without his help. A+ service. My partner now husband and I will definitely recommend Ruben and or will do this all over again.

    I was very nervous about doing a destination wedding, but this was my dream. Mr. Alvarez eased all my worries and tensions by answering every question with additional information and suggestions. Ruben greeted us at the airport and escorted us to our hotel. We had a complete agenda which included site visits and vendors. Needless to say our wedding was flawless. He capture the romance and love that surrounded us. We cant be more pleased with Ruben's services, expertise and attention to detail. We will certainly recommend this wedding planner.

    After a few months trying to put all the details together between my wife and I for a remarkable destination wedding, I realized that is very hard to work it all out from far away. I thought that a wedding coordinator wasn’t necessary until I started to work between the vendors, hotel, paperwork and the wedding guests with a very limited time due to our respective jobs. I really wanted to have an memorable event but I realized that I was taking the wrong way. After a few phone calls and some research, I called Ruben from Acepto! (I do! in Spanish) and he made me feel at ease from the very beginning. His professionalism and expertise was transmitted from our first phone conversation. He was very honest, straight to the point and well organized.  

     

    A few days before the wedding, he took the time to have a meeting with us and the catering manager from our hotel to go over all the final particulars of our big day to make sure that all was exactly as planned and I may certainly say without a doubt that one of my best decisions was to hire someone with his caliber. On the wedding day, he was always accessible from early in the morning up to the end of our remarkable wedding. I saw him always around, keeping special consideration with us, our parents and special guests previously pointed out in our conversations. He exceeded our expectations by far!

     

    If you would like to have a destination wedding in Puerto Rico, don’t think about it twice: contact this amazing gentleman. He is a true gem!

    We cannot speak highly enough of our experience with Ruben Alvarez and the hotel El Convento. We first met Ruben over a year ago as we were just starting to plan our wedding. Immediately he made us feel comfortable; being two men, we wanted to have our wedding in a supportive and fun environment. Ruben went to great lengths to let us know that we were not only accepted, but also that he appreciated the fact that we had chosen to have the wedding with him.
    Ruben not only helped us plan out our wedding while we visited Puerto Rico, he also made two trips to New York when we were able to discuss the wedding and help craft our vision for the weekend. He immediately understood the nature of our wedding which focused on dancing and great food. He thought about so many details, even the way that the food was presented and how to schedule the evening.
    Our wedding week-end was a complicated affair that spanned numerous venues with multiple vendors. Ruben was there every step along the way to help us coordinate and also calm our nerves as we planned and executed hosted the event. Perhaps the most wonderful thing was the extra effort that he put into all of the weekend. The list of above and beyond details he contributed is too long to discuss here, but some of the amazing things included preparing a wedding suite for us that included a bath with rose pedals, custom drinks designed to match our wedding color scheme and helping to organize a late night meal for our guests before they went home.
    Ruben’s help did not end with El Convento. He helped us find locations for the Rehearsal Dinner, After Party, Van Service, DJ’s, Photographers and even our honeymoon! Ruben even found a venue for us to have our ceremony independently and then coordinated drinks and refreshments for our guests even though it wasn’t at his hotel!
    Needless to say, we could not have pulled off our wedding without Ruben’s expertise and input. For that we will forever be indebted to him

    It was a pleasure working with Ruben to plan our dream wedding. Ruben was with me in every step of the way and our wedding day was magical! The ceremony site was beautiful and all our guests had a blast. He is simply amazing!

    Our experience with Acepto & Mr. Alvarez was incredible. Our wedding was a big stress for me and to know that you are in the hands of a true professional that know his craft, totally oriented to details and that thinks about things that you could not imagine to make that day perfect was a total relieve for me.

    Mr. Alvarez has great taste and knowledge about weddings. In our interview he was focus is getting to know us and what we like so he can create the perfect moment for us.

    The venue, the flowers, breath taking decorations....it was a day to remember forever and we will always thank Acepto for that.

    I thought Rubén was fantastic and a huge help to me in planning my destination wedding. He was able to work within my budget and negotiate with vendors on my behalf. My wedding day was amazing as Rubén pulled my entire vision together. He went “above and beyond” to add some special unexpected touches. His team was awesome and worked incredibly hard in executing the wedding & reception. I could not have planned this without Rubén and would highly recommend him! Many “Thanks-Yous” to him and his team.

    Our wedding was magnificent and Ruben was part of that! We truly recommend his services. Not only he is very professional but he knows the business! One of the reasons we chose our venue was because of him. He was very helpful in all aspects! He took care of every single detail in our wedding! Our wedding was magical and he was there every minute to make sure everything was running according the plan. We totally recommend his services because we believe he knows the business.     Ruben Alvarez is THE best wedding consultant in the business. I know this from personal experience as he created one of the most memorable and truly elegant wedding weekends in Caneel Bay, St. John, U.S. Virgin Islands for my family and 50 of my closest friends (it has been 6 years and everyone is STILL talking about our wedding). He worked closely with my Mom and me over the course of a year and a half and what began as a professional working relationship quickly grew into a close friendship.

    Ruben clearly is so gifted at listening to what you want as a bride. But what makes him stand out from other wedding planners, is his ability to add special “Ruben” touches while still keeping in line with your vision. His creative ability and artistic instincts will transform your wedding to a whole new level.
