I had the absolute pleasure of working with John for my wedding. From our first conversation, I knew he was perfect for the job. I had spoken to a few other DJ’s prior to John but they did not feel right as most did not have experience with blending two different cultures into a wedding (my husband is Ghanaian and I’m American). John is friendly, attentive, and highly experienced. He offers more than just DJ services as he was also our day-of coordinator and MC (extremely helpful for me who was a very laid back, type B planner). He provides an online account for couples to plan their wedding down to the most minute details. John also worked with my family to ensure we had the best day possible and to plan a surprise video for my husband. He was fun and willing to play Afrobeats which my husband and his friends loved! I wouldn’t recommend anyone other than John for your wedding. -

John with Access DJ’s was fantastic to work with! From the pre-wedding meeting to the day of, he was professional and a great collaborator. John acted as DJ and Master of Ceremonies and worked one-on-one with our wedding planner to ensure that our reception went smoothly. The online planning database was very user-friendly and gave John an idea of the music we liked to that he could fill in the gaps and keep the dance floor full. We also rented the photo booth, which was a HUGE HIT! His assistant who managed the photo booth all night was also great; she ensured guests left a copy of their photo strip in the album we provided. We hired John for our wedding and I couldn't be happier with his service. We didn't have a planner, so John took care of all the timing. We would've been lost without him. To making sure we had some time to ourselves to eat, making sure our guests knew what to do and when, and of course getting everyone to the dance floor to have some fun, he was amazing and made everything so smooth and easy. I am so happy that I decided to use Access Dj's for my wedding reception. The initial reason I choose this vender was the price. But after speaking to John (owner and DJ), I quickly realized that I was in good hands.
We had two video calls, where we spoke about the reception timeline, and how the flow of the party would go. I had no idea what I wanted, but after chatting for a while, John had helped me figure all of it out.
The customer website is super easy to use, and has a huge date base of songs that you can add to your "song list" making it super easy to add all your favorites.
On the day of the reception, John showed up on time and was all set up ready to go. Our party was in great hands. He was a great MC, and the music was great. He even entertained the children (which I did not anticipate) by letting them DJ a few songs. It made their day; and it made me so happy to see my guest to well taken care of.
I am so happy we put our reception in the very capable hands of Access DJ's. -

I had no idea how important it is to have an exceptional DJ when planning a wedding. My fiancé (now husband) & I were blown away at all the things we DIDN’T know until our first virtual meeting with John from Acess DJs
He is professional, organized, respectful and personable and he takes charge.
I don’t know what we would have done without him.
The event coordinator was on vacation the week before our wedding (returned THE DAY OF our wedding) and the photographer gave us the “peace out” before the Sparklers send off - John kept everything flowing smoothly and on schedule -

Working with John Ortiz was great!! We did several FaceTime calls with him so he could get to “know” us before and it was perfect!! We had non-conventional music choices and he was totally supportive (i.e. kiss, Korn, tool, etc.) We decided to let him play whatever (with a few no’s) as far as dancing play list went and we got lots of compliments after. I would highly recommend. He was a referral from a wedding we had attended earlier in the same year and he didn’t disappoint.Access DJ's's reply:

John Ortiz is the best DJ there is. He is very polite and accommodating. But, what really stands out to me was the fact that he asked me, the bride, what I wanted to drink as he saw me there with no drink in my hand. He was very instrumental keeping the music going that everyone I speak to say that had the best time at our wedding. And honestly, that is what I wanted to hear! Thank you, John, for making that happen. And he even took a picture with our flower girl, our dog, Penny! -

John at Access DJ’s rocked!!! I can’t begin to say enough nice things about his services. He not only acted as a master DJ, but he also did an exceptional job of coordinating the night and keeping everything moving at a relaxed pace. He played all the music my husband and I requested, but he also played guest requests that were special. I can honestly say, he was the best man for the job. Thank you, John. He was responsive, fun to work with, and accommodating to our every request. Creating the playlist was easy to do with his program and he nailed it on the wedding day. The dance floor was never empty! Also he made sure everything ran smoothly by announcing special events, coordinating speeches, and more. John is a true professional, and he made our day completely stress free. Thank you John! I could not recommend Access DJs more! Hire them!!
