  We worked with Kevin at Abuso and we were really happy with their professionalism in the planning stages and flexibility on making our plans work. We were a little untraditional in food and beverage choices, and we had some guests with dietary restrictions. They totally 'catered' to what we had in mind and it was pulled off beautifully. I'd highly recommend this group!

  We just had our wedding two weeks ago and we are still craving for the food chef Kevin cooked for our wedding. Most of our guests favorite part of the wedding was the food - the perfectly cooked steak that melts in your mouth, cheesy mac and cheese that you don't get tired of eating, and even the salad is exquisite! Kevin and his team are very dedicated and assured that we got what we wanted to eat and how we wanted it to taste. They even made off-the-menu appetizers that we requested for! We were blown away during the food tasting because they would re cook the food right then and there to make sure it is perfect to what we want. On the day of the wedding, they made sure to feed us before the reception started and we didn't go hungry, and we had a ton of leftovers that we enjoyed even after we returned from our 10 day honeymoon! The food just got better and better! Overall, we got extremely lucky to have gotten Kevin and his team to cater our wedding, they are fairly priced and delivered amazing food!!!

  There are so many wonderful things to say about Abuso, so please bear with me!
  My husband and I had our wedding reception at the Houston Museum of Natural Science, which has a list of 6 approved caterers who are allowed to cater museum events. After having a NIGHTMARE of a time working with one caterer, who acted as if our business was unimportant, we contacted Abuso. I wish we would have started with them! After three months attempting to work with the other caterer to create a menu within our budget, Dylan and the rest of Abuso hit the ground running on day 1.
  My husband and I sat down with Dylan before our wedding to discuss the reception space and where we would like our food stations to go. As we spoke, he created a map of the museum floor and came up with exciting menu options. We wanted the best food for our guests, so we had him pick his favorite options within our budget, and he chose so well! Our menu included passed pecan crusted chicken bites; a mobile raw bar with oysters, shrimp, and crab fingers; Alaskan salmon sliders; beef short rib sliders; pork shanks; macaroni & cheese bar with toppings; and a baby spinach salad station with toppings.
  Dylan also organized our rentals through a third party for our tables, chairs, place settings, etc. He kept checking with his vendors for when they were having sales on certain rentals. Because of his hard-work, we were able to upgrade from our original options.
  When we gave Abuso our final headcount, Dylan decided we did not need the original number of service staff. He reduced this by one, so we were again able to save more of our money.
  Finally, and the BEST THING EVER, my husband and I were surprised to find out that Dylan had arranged one of the staff to work as our own personal waiter. He was constantly shadowing us to grab us drinks and food, since there was no way we could have grabbed our own without being stopped by our guests.
  You will not regret working with Abuso. I cannot imagine anyone better.

  OMG Abuso catering was AMAZING! The food tasting was heaven. I couldn't wait to share it with my family and friends. Everyone at the wedding LOVED the food (which I knew they would). I would aboslutely use them again.

  I can't speak highly enough about the team at Abuso. They went above and beyond to accommodate our needs including learning strict Kosher laws so that our most observant guests were comfortable. The food was outstanding and I will continue to use them for any party needs that I may have.

  Abuso Catering literally catered to all of my needs and requests. They made sure we had the menu we wanted and worked with us with food allergies. My mom is severely allergic to peanuts, cashews, almonds, etc. And I asked Cami and her staff to make sure not to put any nuts in the food. On the day of the wedding, I asked the waitstaff were there any nuts in the food and the waiter assured me that my mother had a nut-free plate, and was already served. That meant the world to me. They didn't forget. It's the little things like that which makes it easy to say you won't be disappointed with this catering company. Not to mention, the food was delicious. It's real food, with flavor and taste. Even three weeks after our wedding, our friends and family are still talking about the food. My husband jokes, "good. I paid for it!"

  Abuso Catering was awesome! We dealt mainly with Cami and Ernie who guided who us through every part of the process. We really appreciate all of their hard work. The best part about Abuso Catering was that their food was excellent. We had tonnes of left-overs for the extended family to munch on the next day.   Abuso did a fantastic job catering our wedding at Rockefeller Hall. Everyone on their team was a pleasure to work with! The night of the wedding they made sure to fix our plates and keep our glasses full! It was really some of the best service. Everyone loved the food and the presentation was wonderful. They made sure to pack up the leftovers for my parents to take home!

  We used Abuso for my daughter's wedding last weekend and could not be happier with the whole experience. Everyone we worked with there was kind, professional, fun, and very calming during a potentially stressful time. Gillian was fabulous as was all the people that we worked with. At our first meeting we made it clear that we did not want boring, "rubber chicken" type food and they listened (I do not think they know how to do bad food). The food was amazing....everyone at the wedding commented on how great it all was. They worked with us to have a menu and presentation that was appealing and that tasted scrumptious. At the wedding, they were attentive and made sure to take care of the bride and groom, making them feel even more special and pampered. Cami was awesome!
  Russ and I are firm believers in spending money with people that are good but also ONLY with people that we like...We loved the food and loved the people at Abuso and were thrilled that they were our caterers. I highly recommend them for anyone's wedding or event...you will not be disappointed.

  I booked this Vendor,because it was recommended by my Mother-In-Law for their professionalism and service.The estimate may have been a bit on the steep side,but we were working on a budget.After the event all my guests mentioned how everything was perfect and that the staff was excellent,helpful,friendly, and attentive. I thank Richard and Lindy for all their help that night.Everything was perfect!Highly Recommend them for your wedding event.

  Abuso was the in house caterer for our venue. We've gotten several compliments on the food! We went with a fajita buffet, some appetizers, and signature cocktails. Abuso was pretty accommodating with a few special dietary items we needed for family members that are gluten free, vegetarian, etc. They were also able to make a lychee martini as one of our signature drinks, which we thought was a little outside the norm of drink choices. After the wedding they provided us all the leftover food - which was great, because we really didn't feel like cooking in the days right after. The rice and beans were probably even better the day after! We did have a little trouble getting in contact over email, but once we met in person were able to nail down all the details we needed. Abuso was also very understanding of our moving 'final' guest count. Very thankful for the work they put into our event.
