Delicious food & amazing to work with!

I cannot say enough GREAT things about Above & Beyond catering! Their name suits them perfectly because they truly go above & beyond. They were a joy to work with and truly accommodated our every request. They were super attentive in responding to our questions along the way and perfectly executed our dream wedding on the day of! So many people complimented how good our food was and asked who did the catering. Word of mouth can be the best marketing & we have nothing, but amazing things to say about Above & Beyond! Their staff is professional and ran everything seamless! We actually used them for both our rehearsal and wedding and both were perfect! 10/10 experience!!

We hired Above & Beyond for our Rehearsal Dinner/Welcome Party event for 140 people and were completely blown away! We had so many guests tell us how amazing the food was - let alone the servers and administrative staff behind the scenes. They answered all of our questions in a timely manner & went Above & Beyond! The Best Wedding Food!!

I 1000% recommend this catering company for your wedding!! Their food was AMAZING and all of my guests kept talking about it for weeks. I had friends and family wanting to book them for their wedding! They had a great tasting process where you are able to try multiple entrees, sides, and cocktail hour hors d'oeuvres. There was so much food to taste, we got to take the leftovers home! They also offer rentals through them which they show you at the tasting! This company is affordable and the food is delishous. What more could you ask for? They are also very responsive and kind when communicating!!

From the moment we met this team of food people we knew they were the caterers for our daughters wedding! They literally went "above and beyond" for us! They are easy to work with, personable & professional. The tasting was an event in itself so we knew the reception would be off the chart amazing. They did not disappoint.

Everyone LOVED the food! Great experience.

I absolutely recommend above and beyond catering to anyone. They are so accommodating and Christi is just lovely to work with. We live several hours away from our wedding venue, so we could not visit Above and Beyond in person for taste testing/planning. They still made our planning experience easy and low stress even from a distance. All our wedding guests were talking about how great the food was. Above and Beyond was also happy to cater to myself as a non-meat eater and other family members with food allergies. The service made our cocktail hour feel very eloquent and fun. After tons of research into caterers I can confidently say Above and Beyond have very fair prices as well. 100% recommend !!

Amazing service!

Above and Beyond just recently catered our wedding and we were so impressed by their service! They were always so helpful and responsive leading up to the big day and then were absolutely amazing on wedding day. The food was delicious and the wait-staff and bartenders were phenomenal. Truly Fantastic in Every Way!

I hired Above and Beyond to cater my wedding and they couldn't have done a better job! Christi was always quick to answer any of my questions and helped me schedule several tastings that worked with my schedule (I live 3.5 hours away) to make sure my fiancé and I got everything we wanted and more! All of the food was delicious and it truly made our day special! I would recommend them to anyone!!!!

Our favorite vendor!

All of our vendors were phenomenal, but this catering company truly went Above & Beyond. The food was delicious and so reasonably priced--cheaper than we expected, especially for the quality! They worked with us when we shifted from a 120-person wedding to just 25 people, and they made that transition a breeze. They are incredibly kind and professional, both leading up to and during the wedding day.

Amazing Food and Service

Above and Beyond is the perfect name for this catering company because they actually do go “above and beyond”! They catered my daughter’s wedding and the food was delicious! We received so many compliments on the food and most people remarked that this was the very best food they had ever had at a wedding! Great food and planning!

Jill from Above & Beyond was super helpful and responsive, and able to talk whenever we needed her. The food was delicious, but on top of that, Jill helped us plan the perfect (and safest) microwedding during the pandemic. She suggested the florist, photographer, and band, and we were so happy with everything. Thank you to Above & Beyond for making our wedding day so special!! Highly recommend.

Love love love!

We looked at and spoke with lots of caters but we decided Above and Beyond was the one for us. My mom has a background in catering and I knew she was going to be hard to please but she went to the tasting and loved their food. They do a great job, you won't be disappointed. I recommend getting your linens from Above and Beyond too. They did a great job with every request we had, all the linens we needed, and the food was delicious. We loved working with them! The food is amazing and so is the service.

Delicious, Easy and Wonderful

Above & Beyond Catering was a wonderful group to work with for my wedding in August 2019. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Food is Delicious and Service is wonderful. Quick response from the beginning on quotes, food options, plate settings, table linens, bartenders and easy help figuring out what we wanted with our budget. The staff the day of the wedding helped setup the tables with guests serving buffet style and made sure plates were made for me and my groom when we were finally had a moment to eat it was ready and specially made for us.

We got a cocktail hour fruits, cheese and crackers, reception had salad, chicken and steak options with sides and bread. Staff helped serve alcohol and cut up our cake to serve to our guests after we made our first cut. On top of all the wonderful help were we didn't have to worry if it was being taken care of they made to-go food for us to eat the night of the wedding when it was just the two of us and saved us wine we preferred to take home. Along with all the rest of the remaining food that was eaten over the next month. We saved the wine for our one year anniversary. Thank you for your wonderful help ! :)

Amazing Food, Service, and Price

We had Above and Beyond Catering at our wedding and they were absolutely amazing. The food was fantastic, the servers were extremely friendly, helpful, and flexible. Our wedding was at the start of the Covid pandemic and they were so flexible with their schedule and service. They were so considerate of us and our guests. We highly reccomend them because they will make you reception, or any event really, an absolute breeze.

Ellenberger Galford wedding

Amazing Food

Above and Beyond catering is the best in the state! All of our wedding guests could not come up to us fast enough to let us know how amazing the food was on our wedding day! Not only was the food phenomenal so was the service!! No lines were ever at the bar, drinks were SUPERB (especially since we did a speciality cocktail). Email correspondence back and forth was timely and always helpful and supportive. We highly recommend this team for any event!

Above and Beyond!

So happy we chose Above and Beyond to cater our wedding.; they truly went Above and Beyond! We received so many compliments on how delicious the food was; our wedding was over a week ago and people are still telling me how much they loved the food. Not only was the food great the service was exceptional. As soon as our ceremony was over a server greeted us (the wedding party) with food from cocktail hour so we wouldn't miss out. We also had plates with food waiting for us at dinner when my Groom and I sat down and they sent us home with a to-go bag. The bartender was awesome as well. I can't recommend them enough!

If you're looking for a caterer that will have all of your guest asking for more, this is your pick! We had so so so many people ask us where the food came from and compliment on the taste, options, and servers! We booked our bartender through them as well and were more than pleased! The waited on my husband and I hand & foot. They brought us our food, they packed leftovers for us to take home.. They were fantastic! Best decision we made for our wedding hands down!

Incredible Food at a Great Value!

We spent a long time searching for a caterer and are thrilled we found Above & Beyond! The team was professional and accommodating with any request and the food was AMAZING! I still get compliments from the guests about how good the food was an how incredible the bartender was. Every bit of the dinner was delicious and the chicken and beef were so tender and the mashed potatoes were so good! They setup an elegant spread with my wedding colors in mind and made sure we were taken care of all night. Everyone raved about how good the bartender was as well. We felt that every bit of the food and service we received was well worth the money spent and so much more. Impeccable food and service at an incredible price. I would definitely hire Above & Beyond for another event and will recommend them to all of my friends!

Amazing Food, Service & Prices

The #1 thing people talked about at my wedding was our food from Above & Beyond Catering.

I can't say enough about how wonderful the food was and how professional the service was on our special day. Even the planning process was made simple with great communication and taste testing. My husband and I met with several different catering companies to taste the food & get quotes. Above & Beyond had the best food, without a doubt, and the the best prices. There are so many catering companies that nickel and dime you as much as they can to make extra $ but our experience here was the complete opposite. They helped us get more than what we wanted while staying well under our budget. Couldn't be more pleased!

Wow! Cant say thank you enough!

We had soooo many compliments on the food! We ordered the Caribbean Flank steak, parmigian chicken, bourbon salmon, bowtie pasta, mixed veggies, potatoes, quesadillas, bbq stuffed hush puppies, bacon cheese straws and NOT one bad review. The potatoes and vegetables were completely gone and people went back for seconds. All of the staff was professional and the had a plate of everything served to the bride & groom table as soon as we sat down. The setup and presentation was perfect and elegant even for a buffet. We were very pleased with the whole experience from the tasting to the packing of to go boxes. All of the ladies that helped with our order were very accommodating, as we had made several changes to the menu, never gave us a hard time and was well worth the money spent! Highly recommend Above & Beyond, I mean they truly live up to their name!

Well above the name!"Above and Beyond"

I cannot say enough for Above & Beyond catering. The name definitely speaks for itself. Michael was so helpful, he went out of his way to make sure everything was perfect . ALL the serving staff and bartender made sure everyone was served promptly. The food was amazing Caribbean flank steak, Parmesan Encrusted chicken, Gouda mashed potatoes, greenbeans ,Vegetable medley were wonderful choices. The stuff BBQ Hushpuppies were the quest favorite and the Spinach and Artichoke was right behind. They are for sure "Number One" in all areas.
Highly recommend!!

Top-notch!

Above and Beyond’s staff and food are absolutely top-notch. A&B recently catered my wedding and they were so easy to work with, responsive, and thoughtful throughout the whole process. The food was delicious and we received many compliments about it after the wedding. Gustavo led the on-site team and they were so impressive, flexible, and accommodating. The weather was not great and we had to make adjustments last minute to try to keep people dry. The A&B team had already set the tables early and were ready to receive guests much earlier than we had planned. We also had to delay the dinner by 45 minutes and that did not seem to phase the caterers at all. All the food was still hot and tasty when we all sat down for dinner. Everyone on the staff was so nice and said multiple times that they just really wanted to make sure we had a great event. They certainly delivered and we would highly recommend them!

Above & Beyond truly matches their work ethic to their title. We cannot be more thrilled with the thousands of complements we got on the food for our wedding. The parmesan encrusted chicken and beef tenderloin were out choice, but the guests got both instead of choosing one or the other like a traditional buffet. Christi was a joy to work with during our engagement, and it was awesome seeing the smiles on everyone's faces during dinner. The staff was on time, the open bar was unstoppable. There was rarely ever a line, and we had 115 guests! The bartenders just knew how to work! I cannot say enough great things about this company, and they truly were a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend doing a tasting and seeing it all for yourself. You will NOT be disappointed in the slightest!

The Most Wonderful Dinner

We hired Above and Beyond Catering for our wedding and we did not choose wrong. We got SO many compliments on both the dinner and the passed hors d'oeuvres! The staff was great and so very helpful. We did tastings with a couple vendors in the area and the tasting with A&B was the best. They let us taste everything, and I mean everything! It was awesome! It let us choose the perfect menu! I couldn't have asked for a better catering vendor. They were so great in the planning process to make sure all of our questions were answered and that our catering experience would be exactly what we wanted. On top of the that, the food is SO GOOD! When we had our tasting, we instantly fell in love and we couldn't stop talking about how excited we were for the wedding just so we could eat the food again! During the reception, everything was taken care of and our guests and bridal party kept complimenting the food and how great it was. It was such a pleasure to work with Above and Beyond Catering to cater our wedding at Summerfield Farms. They did an incredible job from start to finish. So many of our guests complemented on the quality of the food, it was definitely beyond our expectations. We were also blown away by their exceptional service and the professionalism of their catering staff. Christi was very responsive and easy to work with. We are thrilled with how everything came out and will definitely be using Above and Beyond Catering for future events!

Above and Beyond is awesome! From our first sit down at the tasting, to all of the questions, calls and emails about linens, plates, silverware, glasses, and changes in headcount, Christi was great to work with! Her experience and help with all things was invaluable! All of the food was outstanding with special shout outs to the Shrimp 'n Grits in mini martini glasses, BBQ stuffed hush puppies, Mac and Cheese and the beef tenderloin in a red wine reduction. We received so many compliments on the food ...even at a party a week later by people who weren't even there but had heard how great it was. A special shout out to Michael and his staff as well! They rocked! They had everything set up beautifully, wait staff, servers and bartenders were great! Everyone and everything far exceeded our expectations!

The Above and Beyond Team was great for my wedding! Their outstanding professionalism ws displayed from our very first tasting and throughout our wedding. I picked out a list of desired foods during my first tasting and the staff brought out additional items for my husband and I to sample. We were allowed to take the food home! Did I mention that the tasting was fee?!

During the wedding, the staff was very great, polite and thorough with clean up. My husband and I were approached by so many guests while we tried to eat so we didn't get a chance to finish our food. The staff packed 4 to-go containers of food for us and had to placed in our limo ride home.

We are so happy with our experience working with Above and Beyond Catering! We used them for my bridal shower as well as our wedding reception and the catering at both events was superb. Christie and her crew were a joy to work with and were always very responsive to e-mails, willing to let us try basically their entire menu and gave great advice all along the way for how the "flow" of the evening would work, whether we should do a buffet or food stations, what guests' preferences are, vendor suggestions, etc... And to top it all off, they are amazingly priced based on what you get (the most delicious food)! Above and Beyond Catering literally goes above and beyond to make your event stress-free and enjoyable. They are timely, thoughtful, professional, organized, and helpful. I would certainly recommend Above and Beyond to anyone hosting an event (big or small). You and your guests will be so happy.

Hands down, some of the most delicious food I have ever had! When we booked our venue, there was a list of catering options to choose from. At the guidance of a former bride to the venue, she recommended that we consider Above & Beyond catering to match our style. Myself (as well as the majority of my family) are strict vegetarians & my fiancé & I were on a pretty tight budget. We set up a tasting & were pleasantly surprised at the sheer number of vegetarian options (not just sides but full entrées) that were offered! We selected our tasting menu (feeling like we were choosing too many options!) & Christi added even more that she recommend that we try, which was so awesome! We had a hard time choosing which food items to go with, because everything was SO delicious!! As for the food set up, I had a pretty unique vision for the day. Instead of sit down or buffet style (the latter being too stuffy & the former being too casual) I wanted to do a Family Style dinner. Christi was more than accommodating about this option & was so supportive in doing the unique approach to the dinner! The dinner was served on beautiful porcelain white style serving dishes, which they brought out to each table. Since my wedding was personal & intimate, guests (i.e. family) just passed the dishes around the tables, just like you would do at Thanksgiving dinner! I can't tell you how amazing & perfect the table set up, food, & drinks were for the day! I had so many guests raving about the food & how they loved the unique dinner approach! Above & Beyond is truly just that, above & beyond any of my expectations! I cannot recommend them enough! If you have a wedding, they need to be your first & only stop!

Above and Beyond Catering is fantastic. We could not be more pleased with their catering services. They catered my daughter's wedding and everything was perfect. The food completely exceeded my expectations even though I was with my daughter at the tastings. Somehow, the food was actually better at the reception. The macaroni and cheese and the parmesan chicken got rave reviews. I honestly loved the green leafy fresh salad and the haricot verts. I know it sounds crazy, but some catering companies do a lousy job with the freshest ingredients and that was not the case at all.

The set-up was seamless. The attention to detail was wonderful. I was ready to adopt / steal Michael and Ashley and bring them home to Charlotte. For the most part, I do not have a need for full-time catering, but we loved them so much. Michael actually gave me his cell phone number when he left the venue Thursday in case I needed him for any reason before the ceremony.

The staff that showed up with Michael and Ashley on Friday were also great. Again, thank you. They could not have been more helpful during the reception ... attending to the guests, the bride, the groom and anything at all that needed attention. They were on a first name basis with many of the guests.

They were so helpful during the break down. We do not live in High Point and needed to break down and remove everything that night. They jumped in and helped with everything. We had extra food we could not take because we were headed to hotels. They arranged to send the food to a shelter. We had flower buckets that needed to be returned to the vendor ... Michael volunteered.

We so strongly recommend this company!

Off the chart! The food was fantastic, The Rave of the conversation at dinner. We had the privilege of having this service not only provide the wedding dinner, but there continual and professional services were great as well. Their people were great, and acted as family. Above and Beyond Catering did an outstanding job and I am so glad I used them for my wedding! From the moment I had my tasting, I knew they were dedicated to quality and really wanted my day to be special. I cannot get over how great the food tasted, and my guests said it was some of the best food they had ever had! They also handled all the linens, silver and glassware, cocktail tables, and bar for the event. Their staff were professional and attentive and I could not be happier about how everything looked and tasted! I highly recommend them for any event!

Above and Beyond did a fantastic job! The food was delicious, and there was plenty for everyone. I highly recommend the whisky glazed pork with apples (but everything else was delicious too)! They arrived on time for set-up. The buffet table decorations looked great, and matched our decor. Christi was very easy to work with. She always got back to me quickly with answers to my questions, and accommodated guests with various food allergies without any problem. All of the staff did a great job, and were very friendly and easy to work with. Catering was one of the few things I never stressed about during the planning and the wedding itself, because I knew they had it all taken care of!

I highly recommend Above and Beyond to anyone with catering needs! We had them cater our wedding of about 150 guests. We met with the team a couple of times before the day of to sample different plates based on buffet versus plated meal (you have to try the BBQ stuffed hush puppies). We eventually decided on buffet and we were so pleased! There was plenty of food (with leftovers!) and we heard nothing but good things from our guests. It wasn't until after the wedding that we were told that one of the tables at the reception was infested with ants. Instead of telling my husband or I, the team quickly changed all of the linens and utensils which was awesome! Everyone was great to work with and always responded quickly to any questions or concerns we had. Overall great experience and we would work with them again in a heartbeat!

This by far was the BEST value of any wedding service we hired. I was very happy with all of my vendors, but Above and Beyond is one I will recommend to anyone planning a wedding. Our taste testing was full of delicious food and Christi let us try so many of the options from their huge selection of food that I really felt like I was able to confidently select choices that our guests would like. Christi responded within minutes of all of my emails, and even called me from her home phone when she was home with the flu to answer a question that certainly could have waited! I had a lot of questions and changes throughout the planning process and never once did I feel like I was a pest or inconveniencing them. I was honestly a little weary of how the food would turn out on our wedding day, knowing what the price of our food was and wondering if it could possibly be as good as our trial when it's being made for 130 guests- but it was! The food on the day of was just as good as the trial and people raved about it afterwards (still now even a month later we're getting compliments on our food!). The value and service of this company is incredible. Don't look any further and contact them for a tasting!!

Above & Beyond catered my wedding and they truly went above and beyond! I'm still dreaming about their parmesan chicken and all of the different types of pasta. They made themselves available as much as needed and helped make my wedding day so peaceful for my family and I. They even plated some to-go containers of everything that was set out during the dinner for my husband and I to enjoy later that evening so that we could really enjoy it. I would absolutely recommend Above & Beyond to any couple.

If you are looking for the perfect catering service, look no further! Above and Beyond serviced our Bridesmaid Brunch and the Rehearsal Dinner on the same day. The staff was professional, courteous and arrived early and the set up was beautiful. The food was perfect and correspondence during the planning stages was great! I highly recommend them!

I would like to thank Dave, and the entire team at Above and Beyond Catering, for a wonderful experience with our wedding. My wife and I booked Above and Beyond almost 18 months in advance, and even though we were crazy enough to be that early, Dave was responsive to every question we had throughout the process. We had buffet service with plates laid out on the tables, and the staff on site were incredible and helped all of our guests. They were even kind enough to walk with my bride through the buffet line so that she could avoid spilling :). The food was excellent as well. We all know that wedding food tends to range from awful to "eh", but people raved about it, and we count ourselves among that crowd.

Long story short is that Dave and the team at Above and Beyond are wonderful, caring people who will go all out to ensure your wedding goes exactly as planned. They are flexible, affordable, and I wouldn't hire anyone else given another opportunity.

If you're looking for an exceptional caterer in the Triad area that is friendly and affordable, look no further than Above & Beyond! Our wedding was 8/13/16 and I never had any doubts about our catering once we booked Above & Beyond. First of all they are, hands down, the most affordable caterer in this area. Secondly, their food is absolutely delicious! Their menus are HUGE so you are sure to find exactly what you're looking for. We went through Above & Beyond for everything - food, bar service, linens, etc. At our tasting appointment we were blown away at how professional they were. We met with Alexis and loved her right away! Instead of preparing just small bites of each dish, they cooked FULL PORTIONS of everything for us! I really felt special at the tasting appointment because they had a formal table set up for us, complete with linens and china. Something else that I really appreciated - their response time to my emails. As a bride, you tend to get rather antsy when waiting for a response to a question that you've asked one of your vendors. With Above & Beyond, I never felt that way because Christi always emailed me back right away! Additionally, all our other vendors (cake, venue, florist) were so happy to hear that our caterer was Above & Beyond because they were all familiar with them and knew how well they worked with everyone in town! On our wedding day, everything was perfect, including the catering. All our guests kept telling us how much they loved the food and the service! I'm so proud to say that I was an Above & Beyond Bride :) I hope that this review has helped you decide who to use as your caterer! Good luck with your planning process!!

Above and Beyond did an outstanding job at our daughter's barn wedding. The food was delivered on time and was delicious. The set up of the buffet was elegant. We hired 3 of their servers to man the buffet and bar. The servers were so friendly and did such an incredible job. We bought our own champagne and wine, but we asked them to provide their house wine if ours ran out. They were so easy to work with and managed all of our requests. I hope to use them again some time. Excellent!

I searched high and low to find this caterer and when I tried the mac and cheese, I was completely sold. They were incredibly helpful and offered the best value as well as advice on what I should book through them versus what I should go elsewhere for. They came out to our property ahead of time to finalize details and offer suggestions which was wonderful as I was planning the wedding from a distance. They were very responsive and patient with me during the entire process. The day of, they delivered a stellar performance and food. Everybody was commenting on how delicious it all was! I cannot say enough great things about Above and Beyond! From the first day we met them for our taste testing, we knew they were the best at what the do in the Triad of North Carolina. After taste testing with other vendors, we knew that none could compare with the wonderful experience we got with Above and Beyond. For our taste tasting we were able to sit down, just the two of us, to try all the food. We were able to pre-select any items listed on their menu to try. When we arrived, we found a complete example of a set-up for an event (linens, drink set up, food service equipment, etc.) and a table set for two. A menu with all the items we wished to try was at our seats, which included our names and upcoming wedding date. This was such a personal touch, which showed us that they planned this taste testing specifically for us. When the food came out we were shocked at the amount of food that continued to pour out of the kitchen. Unlike other places that provided a small sample bite of their food, Above and Beyond provided family size samples of their food (more than enough for the two of us). IT WAS ALL AMAZING!!! Oh, and did I mention, the taste testing was free? They provided boxes for us to take all the left overs home with us for our family to try. We knew then and there it wouldn't get better than that. They provided us a sample invoice before we left to give us an idea of how much it would cost based off our estimated guest list. Their prices were great. We ended up getting a cheese and crackers/fruit table for our "cocktail hour" and had two meats, three sides, and breads. They made plates specifically for us for our day of (which included a special item that was not included for the rest of our guests, BBQ STUFFED HUSH PUPPIES) and to go plates for us to take with us. They gave us all the left overs from the day of, and their staff was amazing! They took such good care of me and my husband, and made sure that everything was perfect.

Our experience with A&B catering was wonderful! We had to plan from out of state for our daughter's wedding. My daughter and her now husband had gone for the tasting and couldn't believe all the food they were given to taste. When they left they were confident it was the right caterer for them! We loved planning our menu with this vendor. They were very affordable, helpful and responsive, and on the wedding day our guests were going back for seconds and thirds because the food was just awesome! We liked that they handled the pickup and return of the dinnerware and linen rentals as well. Would definitely recommend to other brides--their food is truly exceptional.

Everyone that we’ve talked to said the food was amazing – there were lots of big fans of the parmesan encrusted chicken! We spoke to a guest the other night that said food prepared by another big name local caterer for a wedding reception “didn’t even come close to touching” to the food that was at our wedding reception. Christy and staff are wonderful. The food was awesome, the presentation was great! They were very accommodating to our needs and very helpful to me the day of the wedding. Everyone has told me they really enjoyed the food and especially the appetizers before dinner. We will be using them again for our future events. My sister used them for her wedding in June of 2013 and that's how I knew that they were the ones for me. The whole Above and Beyond Catering staff was amazing!!! From the beginning the staff has been so easy to work with. They respond in a very timely manner and helped to ease any stresses I would have. We had our wedding this past weekend and I can't even explain how happy we are that we picked above and beyond. Everyone commented on how amazing the food was, and they sent us home with a huge bag for the hotel room after the reception ended. They were so easy to work with and answered all of my questions in a timely fashion. They did everything they could to accommodate us and give us everything we were looking for! Excellent food, service, and presentation!! Christy was amazing in the planning process and never failed to make sure I was happy. When my reception venue asked who was catering I told them above and beyond and they said " you're in really good hands", and they were exactly right! The free tasting and consult we attended was a lot of fun, and they packed up the leftovers to send with us. We served rosemary chicken, pot roast, roasted potatoes, a veggie medley, and mac and cheese for 95 guests at the reception. Everyone loved it! Several guests told me it was the best wedding food they had ever had. Their pricing was impossible to beat in the area. I would hire them again in a heartbeat!

Cannot say enough about Above and Beyond catering. Although, their name does say it all. They went ABOVE and BEYOND what we expected out of a caterer. Absolutely wonderful people to work with. We knew we would love them as soon as we went to the food tasting. The service was outstanding and of course the food was delicious. Our guest raved about the food we served. You will not be disappointed with this company!

Above and Beyond was the first vendor we decided on. Their name fits the bill. Their service was exemplary, the food was beyond words, the staff was completely and utterly awesome. Not only did they supply the food, they were a shoulder to cry on and went beyond beyond just catering services. Their recommendations for our reception venue and baker were spot on. Christie and her team are the best hands down. Love them all. And the prices were awesome. :)

Above and Beyond definitely exceeded expectations for my wedding. I knew from the tasting that they would not disappoint us and they definitely did not. I knew from the time we met Christi and took our first bite at the tasting, that we were going to go with them. In fact, we did not look at any other caterers! The food for the rehearsal dinner and reception were out of this world. We received so many compliments on the food, most of which said, "We have never had food this good at a wedding!". So, thank you Above and Beyond for catering our wedding and making our day that much more special. PS The leftovers were great too!

Above and Beyond Catering exceeded our expectations in being a part of the wedding. They came recommended, but not required from our venue. The catering piece was one that was stressful for me, its such an important part of the big day. Upon meeting Christi at the tasting I knew that we were going to choose Above and Beyond Catering. She was so insightful, so helpful in lending her professional experience and opinion. We got to try so many different options and she was so helpful in helping me make my buck go a long way. She did a great job in getting back in touch with me if I tried to reach her. The day of, it went AMAZING!! The catering crew that showed up was so fantastic. As my husband and I walked around from table to table, people volunteered to us how fantastic the food was and how much they enjoyed it. They even told us after the wedding how much they enjoyed it. The catering crew working at our wedding were SO friendly, SO helpful and really went the extra mile. They help make everything go so smoothly (because on your wedding day, there is so much going on, you can't do everything like you think you might be able to!). They really made the event so special and helped take charge of the part they were in charge for. I would HIGHLY recommend using Christi and her staff. You will not regret it! For future events, we will be using her!

Above and Beyond Catering stays true to their name. They definitely went above and beyond. The food was amazing, all of my guests were raving about how delicious everything was (especially the macaroni and cheese)! We ordered cheese and crackers for our cocktail hours, a buffet for dinner and coffee with desserts. Everything was great! And the staff is absolutely amazing. Ann was so responsive and got back to us very quickly with all of our questions, Christi was friendly and very informative during our tasting, and Alexis was a rock star in helping run everything day of. The staff was so polite and helpful throughout the entire event. I was really impressed during the tasting and even more impressed day of! We really enjoyed working with this caterer and would recommend it to any future bride or event planner!

We could not be happier with this caterer!!! They bent over backwards to make a wonderful tasting for us. Then, when our venue notified us of their alcohol license change 3 WEEKS before the wedding, Above & Beyond took it in stride, calmed us down and took the hit on what we had contracted with them!!! This was all BEFORE we even had the event.
A&B was so accomodating during the event set up that even our cake maker commented on how fabulously nice the A&B staff are! The food was delicious and we had a BUNCH of compliments and are still getting them. We should have paid A&B more for the therapy and reassurance they gave us the entire planning time.

Our experience with Above and Beyond was great! The food was amazing and everyone complimented our choice in food. The guests are still talking about it.
Everyone was professional and kind to me, our guests, and our other vendors. Even our cake baker said that she had a wonderful experience dealing with the A&B staff.
After we had already picked a menu and drinks, our venue changed their policies on alcohol. We were worried because we had already asked A&B to provide drinks but now they had to go through the venue. Christi was completely understanding and made sure everything got set straight.

Great Food and Professional Service | We knew without a doubt we would use Above and Beyond when we arrived for our first meeting and tasting! Everyone was friendly, professional and most importantly the food was EXCELLENT! Christi was easy to work with and offered wonderful suggestions! We were able to coordinate the linens, silverware, plates, glasses, napkins rental with them directly which was not only convenient but economical!

Our day of manager, Alexis, met with us prior to our wedding to walk-thru the facility with us and discuss the details. After this meeting we knew Alexis and her staff would have everything under control! Alexis served our dinner to us at our Sweetheart Table. It was wonderful that were able eat and enjoy dinner with our family and friends! We did not have to worry about anything!

We chose Above and Beyond as our caterer after a recommendation from a friend. I'm so glad we did! They were so easy to work with and the food was fantastic! We liked some of our selections from our first trial but didn't like others. Christi invited us back for a second tasting (for free) to make sure we picked out exactly what we wanted.

We used the "unlimited beer and wine" option that they offer, which is an incredible value. We paid a flat fee for each guest for unlimited beer and wine for the cocktail hour, dinner, and reception. This was a HUGE savings for us compared to what other companies offered or if we had decided to buy and provide the alcohol ourselves.

Additionally, I was able to get all of my rentals (linens, silverware, plates, wine glasses, napkins, cocktail tables) through this same company at incredible prices! The prices they offered for the same items I would have picked at a typical rental company were significantly lower!

On the day of the wedding, Amanda, our on-site manager made sure everything went off without a hitch. (Including making sure that my Maid of Honor got her gluten-free meal.) She handled all the details and I never worried about anything! Everyone really enjoyed the food as well. It was fresh and well presented.

I cannot recommend Above and Beyond Catering enough!

The service, quality of food and linens, decorating, advice was all exceptional. All of the staff i dealt with were very responsive, helpful, cheerful and willing to do whatever we needed to make our wedding reception perfect. I had many compliments on the food and how good it was. I could not have been more pleased with every single thing about Above and Beyond Catering. Love you guys.

I had above and beyond cater my daughters wedding as a single parent paying for this i had concerns over quality, quantity, service and cost. we were thrilled with the amount of food, quality of food and over all cost to us was amazing. The food was delicious, and the ladies were so very easy to work with. They also didn't have any problem traveling from High Point to Wake Forest. As compared to other caterers I looked at, it was a lot more (tasty) food for a much lower cost. I was extremely pleased with this vendor.

Food was very important to my husband and I. We could not have picked better than Above & Beyond. We received so many compliments on the food. When we first met, I was amazed at how many options Christi let us try for consideration. Go for the Potatoes Au Gratin! I felt like once we found Above & Beyond everything else just fell in to place. It was so convenient to be able to get the food and tablecloths (absolutely beautiful) from the same source. Christi was also very helpful in helping us set up our rentals.

Food was AMAZING and the price could not have been better. They went above and beyond (as their name suggests) to make my dinner perfect, they even made me my own vegetables since we weren't sure that everyone would be happy with asparagus. I highly recommend the bacon wrapped turkey, redskin mashed potatoes and asparagus, I still dream about that meal!

Above and Beyond Catering truly went above and beyond for our reception service. Christi and Tracy made sure everything was perfect leading up to the big day. On the big day, Tracy and her staff made sure our guests were well fed and properly "hydrated" throughout the evening. The food and service was great and we were very thankful to have Above and Beyond cater our reception.

All I can say is WOW! Above and Beyond Catering was unbelievable for my daughter's wedding. I mean it's catered food, right. So there is only so much one can expect. But I was wrong! Everyone at the reception was continously complimenting the food and wanting to know who did it. Christi and her staff did a fabulous job. They were attentive, polite, and eager to please; not just the wedding party, but all of our guests. The food was exceptionally great and exceeded my expectations. I could not have asked for one thing to be changed. It was perfect. Thank you guys so much for making my daughter's special day even more special!

These guys rock! They were the only caterer who didn't laugh when I told them my budget. They were attentive and gave me menu ideas that fit within my plans. Above and Beyond is Amazing! Everything from the tasting to the clean up was hands down above and beyond what was expected! The tasting was amazing, we knew from that point we were hooked. The food turned out to be just as amazing the day of the wedding as it was at the tasting. Not only was the food spectacular but the staff was also. Ann was there for the walk through and from that point on she was on top of everything. I never had to worry about anything. She had a plan and it was perfect! The set up the venue the day before so I was able to see everything put together in advance. I loved that! The day of the wedding they showed up really early just to be there if I needed anything. Ann went out of her way to check in on me constantly just in case I needed anything at all. The set our sweet heart table up with a little of everything and made sure it was waiting for us at the perfect time. We actually got to eat and enjoy the food at our wedding, and I am so glad. Ann also took care of the break down and clean up. We were able to head out and not worry about anything after such a long day. I can not rave enough about Ann and the amazing experience that I had!

Above and Beyond catered the rehearsal dinner and the wedding for my daughter (May 17, 2014). The food was plentiful and delicious, the servers prompt and professional and the prices were very reasonable. If I ever need a caterer again I will definitely call them. I can't think of anything that would have made this better!

Christi and her staff are EXCELLENT!!!! The Food is EXCELLENT!!! The Pricing is EXCELLENT!!! We just had the wedding this past weekend- everyone said the food was excellent. Chicken, pulled pork, sides and biscuits were AWSOME!!! The staff was sent to us was EXCELLENT- boxed up all the leftovers and cleaned without even being asked too!!! Christi knows her stuff when it comes to helping you plan!!! If I could give 10 stars I would!!! Above & Beyond, Christi and her staff are AWSOME best people to work with and the BEST food!!!
