Aaron Denny DJ’ed our August 2022 wedding and did an incredible job! He worked with us to come up with the perfect wedding playlist of all of our (and our guests’) favorite songs. We had a couple of requests day-of that he immediately accommodated, and he did a great job of getting people out on the dance floor.

We also loved that he was able to play live acoustic music during the ceremony and cocktail hour. It created the perfect atmosphere that we wanted, and felt more unique having live music compared to a recording.

Aaron was incredibly helpful in working with us to finalize all of the music details of the wedding, as well as the order of events throughout the entire ceremony and reception, and had very helpful questionnaires and materials from his considerable experience DJing weddings. We highly recommend you book Aaron for your wedding.

Aaron saved the day

When our musicians had to cancel last minute, Aaron stepped in to perform at our ceremony and cocktail hour. I think due to the extenuating circumstances he was willing to learn two songs last minute. Five stars!

Ceremony Acoustic and Reception DJ

Aaron was a pleasure to work with to help us find our ceremony music and DJ! He was considerate during each part of the process and continuously checked in to make sure we had everything we needed. Justin Cohn our ceremony musician was more incredible then we could have imagined. He organized the exact verse and chorus for my bridal walk from my favorite song, and took all of our request for the cocktail hour. Our family and friends were blown away by his musical talent. We are so thankful for him!
Matt McElroy the DJ for our reception took our favorite musical genres and made the perfect mix! Our guests were on the dance floor the entire night! He helped to organize the details of our dance, cake cutting, dinner and so many more aspects. They both helped to create the perfect day!

Perfect NH Wedding DJ!

We booked Aaron for our July wedding and we are so happy we did! Aaron was very responsive and helpful when planning our wedding, and has a lot of experience so he knew exactly how to work with our vendors and make our day run so smoothly! He also was fantastic during the wedding, a DJ that can read the audience, entertain the crowd, but also not take a way from the bride and groom and let them have their day! Amazing to work with!

Danced all night

I am so picky with my music. I LOVE to dance and we were so nervous that our guests would not want to dance if the music was not perfect. Aaron DID NOT disappoint. He was so personable leading up to the wedding and our guests partied all night! I can not say enough about Aaron. He also did an amazing acoustic set during cocktail hour. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!

Awesome musician & DJ

Best DJ ever!!!!

Aaron was the best DJ ever!! He played acoustic guitar while our guests were arriving and for our ceremony and DJ'd the wedding! He kept everyone on the dance floor all night long!! He was so fun to work with and kept our wedding right on track. Before we had talked with Aaron, we had no idea about timeline and how the day would proceed. He provided us with everything we needed and went above and beyond our expectations!!! All of our guests commented on how well the day/night went and how awesome he was!!! HIGHLY recommend! Crazy insane talent & a true Pro!

Aaron Denny was BEYOND incredible to work with! Being a bride, I was particularly pleased with how very organized Aaron is. It really helped the entire flow move very smoothly from transitioning from ceremony music to cocktail hour music to dinner acoustic music (which I had many guests compliment me on his acoustic talent and we were just as amazed) and finally to DJ'ing the ceremony. The party was awesome...conga line and all! Aaron was such a pro, that our venue wanted us to connect them with him so they could make recommendations as they work with a lot of DJ's and were highly impressed with Aaron's professionalism and talent. Wow....a night we will never forget!

Talented, Professional and organized!

I am a wedding planner and I have hired Aaron a few times for clients. I knew after working with him the first time that I wanted to hire him for my own wedding. He is extremely talented as a singer and DJ. He is very organized and professional and I felt completely comfortable leaving him in charge of my day... which is not easy being very type A. He is not your typical DJ. Aaron brings so much more to the table. I cant wait work with him again soon!!

amazing music, our dance floor was packed the whole night!

Aaron was our DJ, cocktail hour musician, and ceremony musician. His live acoustic guitar was so beautiful during the ceremony and added a really nice touch that most other DJs would not be able to provide. Aaron was the DJ for my brother in law's wedding before we hired him and we immediately knew we wanted to use him once we got engaged. He does such a great job reading the room- At our wedding and my brother in law's wedding, there was never a time that the dance floor was not packed! He made our wedding so much fun! In addition to his performance at the wedding, he was super helpful with the lead up and establishing a timeline for the day. He helped us plan out everything so it went smoothly day of. I would highly recommend Aaron to anyone!

Passionate and accommodating DJ and acoustical expert

Aaron did a terrific job helping us plan our wedding reception (cocktail hour guitar and reception DJ session). He has the experience to be realistic about what technical requirements will be (load-in complexity, lighting, etc.) as well as event sequencing. I had gone to a wedding a while back where Aaron was the Gutarist/DJ and I just thought he was great. I knew I wanted him for our big day! Aaron is absolutely awesome- the whole package! He was so helpful in helping us create a timeline for the event- mentioned details with timing we had not thought of! He was absolutely amazing on the guitar during dinner! He kept all 200 of our guests dancing after dinner- the dance floor was never empty. You will not be disappointed!!

We were referred to Aaron by a friend while looking for a guitarist for our ceremony. We were very happy to see that he could also be the DJ for the reception. When the doors open and I heard the him playing for the processional I couldn't believe how beautiful it was! Working with Aaron from the start was so easy. He is responsive, professional and thorough in his work. He helps to go over every detail of the day to ensure it goes just as you want and even helps with song selections! He strongly encouraged we put together a timeline for the Bridal Party and another for the venue, photographer and him which was very helpful. I definitely recommend Aaron for his beautiful guitar playing and his high energy DJing.

Aaron was amazing to deal with. When we met him a month before the wedding he suggested we write a timeline for the day and include every detail necessary. He mentioned details that we hadn't even thought of and we were so grateful for his suggestions. He is easy to communicate with and he goes above and beyond without even trying. The best part being he is an extremely talented musician! We wanted a mix of live music and a DJ, and Aaron was the perfect combination of both! He even played our first dance live on the guitar and sang! It was special touches like that that truly made our day the best day ever. Hiring Aaron Denny as both the classical guitarist for our ceremony and DJ for our reception may have been the best decision we made. Aaron is kind and professional and was extremely prompt getting back to our calls and emails throughout the wedding planning process. When we met with Aaron via Skype about a month before our wedding. he really helped us to visualize our entire day in a way that made us feel calm and confident about how everything would go. When the wedding day arrived, everything went smoothly. Aaron played the guitar for our ceremony and we got many compliments on this. And...the reception / dance party was AWESOME! Aaron had a very skilled and non-intrusive way of communicating during the reception to make sure things are happening on time so that we could make the most of our celebration. Everyone stayed on the dance floor and clearly enjoyed themselves throughout the night.

Thank you, Aaron, for all you did to make our wedding ceremony and celebration such a wonderful experience for us. We will highly recommend you to anyone looking for a musician or DJ in New Hampshire!

We chose Aaron based on a recommendation from our wedding site coordinator at Flag Hill winery. From the start, Aaron was responsive and interested in what "vibe" we wanted to create for our recent anniversary vow renewal. We took advantage of his talents as a jazz guitarist during our cocktail hour, as well as playing some classical music for our ceremony. He was helpful with both song suggestions and those "little touches" you are typically too busy to even consider. Aaron also performed an amazing live version of a favorite song for our special dance moment, which made our event even more special. Our guests could not have been more complimentary. LOOK NO FURTHER!!!!! Seriously, it is a waste of time looking at what's out there, because AARON IS EVERYTHING! Thoughtful, professional, talented, modest, upbeat!!!! My husband and our entire family were SO pleased with Aaron! I found him through wedding wire, and booked him just because of the amazing reviews! We had our wedding at my parent's beach house in a tent on the beach! He was MORE than accommodating to our unique venue, and really knew how to work it! We chose his package that included acoustic guitar for the cocktail hour, and a pro dj set for reception. His guitar skills are amazing, he impressed just about everyone! My husband and I aren't that into dancing, and we were at a loss when trying to choose songs for the reception's dancing! We had a general idea, but Aaron totally understood how to make it all come to life! If you want GUIDANCE, CONFIDENCE, and AN AMAZING TIME then book him asap! Aaron was the DJ for our wedding on September 3rd at Flag Hill Winery in Lee, NH. We cannot say enough great things about him!
Not only did he assist us in picking out our music, but he also helped us organize our wedding day timeline and gave us tips for toasts and other helpful advice!
We chose the package for live ceremony music and it was amazing. He played classical guitar while guests were arriving as well as during the processional and recessional and it sounded incredible.
While we missed most of cocktail hour for pictures, we could hear the music he was playing and it was a perfect combination of everything we had discussed. He even played some live music during dinner which was such a great addition! So many of our guests raved about the music.
He was very easy to work with and so responsive to all communication- I doubt our wedding would have gone as smoothly if we didn't have him!

We are so happy we went with Aaron Denny for our wedding music. Aaron played classical guitar at our ceremony, a personalized acoustic guitar set at our cocktail hour, played music at dinner, and turned into a dj for the dancing. Due to the layout of our venue, we had 3 different locations for Aaron to set up. Aaron was available to answer all our questions throughout the process. We really wanted music to reflect us and what we enjoy- Aaron took all our requests and really worked hard to make our wedding music personalized to us. In our meeting with Aaron prior to the wedding, he offered some great advice about our timeline - adding considerations for things we would not have known to think about. Aaron was awesome. Leading up to the wedding we were a little worried that people wouldn't end up dancing. Aaron assured us that people will absolutely be dancing. He was right. people were tearing it up on the dance floor and having so much fun. Additionally, he played classical guitar during our ceremony and it was beautiful. I was first witness to the musical talents of Aaron Denny in 2011 at my sister's wedding. When I started planning my own wedding, he was the first vendor I called. He took the time to get to know our musical tastes and he knew exactly which songs to play when. He is an incredibly talented guitar player and vocalist. Our guests continue to rave about him. I also want to share about how Aaron Denny went above and beyond the contract. Here's the short version: Our backyard wedding ceremony was delayed about 30 minutes because of a torrential downpour, lighting included. I was confined to my bedroom, panicking that our guests were probably irritated and bored from all the waiting around. When I heard that "the musician is killing it" with live jams, I was so relieved. In my mind, in my bedroom, I was imagining disappointed guests but the reality was that everyone was having a blast. Aaron Denny was the difference. We are so grateful that he was willing to travel to CT to make our musical wedding dreams come true. From his pre-ceremony set to the after dinner dance party, Aaron Denny absolutely crushed it at our wedding. No other DJ even comes close. Do yourself a favor and book him for your wedding. Your guests will thank you and you will thank me.

We were so lucky to have Aaron as the DJ for our wedding. We chose to have Aaron play acoustic guitar during our ceremony and during dinner. Everyone commented what a special touch this was. He DJed during our cocktail hour and during the reception he was able to constantly keep the dance floor full. Aaron just did our wedding in June and we were very pleased with his DJ service! If we had more time and money I would have taken advantage of the live music option he offers too, but DJ music worked best for our event. He did a great job with a blend of cocktail/dinner music and then dance music! We were a bit picky with our music and gave him a long list of songs to play and vague idea of what not to play and he worked with it beautifully! Also not the "tacky" type of DJ, which is what we were looking for.

Aaron was the DJ for our wedding on 04/23/16. He played live classical guitar during our ceremony, was the DJ for our cocktail hour and reception and played live acoustic music during our dinner. He had everyone on the dance floor from the first song to the last! Many people were dancing during dinner; it was exactly what we wanted. It is 3 weeks later and people are still talking about what a great DJ we had. We have heard over and over that our guests had so much fun and danced all night. Aaron was recommended by one of my friends. He had DJ'd her daughter's wedding a year ago and she raved about him as "simply amazing!!!" He lived up to this review! ;) Aaron is a talented musician as well as DJ and we contracted for both services during our wedding, cocktail hour, dinner & reception. We used Aaron for our wedding a few weekends ago. We were very impressed with his professionalism throughout the whole process. Aaron was an affordable option and completed all of our needs for the ceremony and reception. Aaron played classical guitar for our ceremony which was outstanding. He also DJ'd our cocktail hour and reception. He performed during our dinner hour by playing and singing songs that we chose off his vast list. Aaron is a very talented musician and we would recommend him to everyone. All of guests commented on what a great job he did throughout the entire event. People are still talking about how great he was to hear live and also his DJ abilities during the party. He generated excitement on the dance floor for all our guests.

We wanted to make sure we chose a DJ that was not going to try to steal the show by upstaging the event and Aaron was the right choice. Aaron was simply ammazing. My sister used Aaron for her wedding a few years back and the compliments she kept getting from everyone was amazing. I knew that when i got engaged i would contact aaron to be at my wedding. When that day came he was the first person i contacted. Two years in advance he set up a meeting and he was booked. Over the two years until our wedding Aaron always stayed in touch and always asked if we had any questions and was there with us 100% of the way.

On the day of the wedding Aaron arrive early and set up and everything looked so professional. The wedding was perfect and he got everyone out on the dance floor all night long. Everyone still compliments me on his acoutic guitar that he played during our ceremony and dinner service. The music he played all night was suit to the group dancing. He even came back to our house for a bonfire jam session!

Lets just say, we are the first of our friends to get married and all of our friends have already said they will be contacting aaron when their big day comes! Aaron you are simply amazing and professional at all you do. Thank you again SO much for everything!!!!!

My husband and I booked Aaron for our wedding reception (live dinner music and DJ services) and couldn't be happier with our choice. Aaron is extremely talented - our guests were blown away when he started singing. Guests of all ages danced the entire night and everyone is still talking about how wonderful Aaron was. I would highly recommend Aaron to friends and family who are getting married. Not only does he know how to make a wedding fun, he is also very professional. We could not be happier with the fact that we can across Aaron when searching for a DJ for our wedding. He was absolutely perfect! Aaron is upbeat and funny and was also quick to respond to questions. He had a meeting with us a month before the wedding to go over all final details. He took time to listen to what we wanted but also made fantastic song recommendation. We had Aaron play live music during our ceremony which was just beautiful. During the reception the dance floor was also full! 2 month later I still have my guest asking about who my DJ was and commenting how much they loved him! We ended with a “floor burner” song and the entire room was on the dance floor - I wish I could replay this night for the rest of my life. Don’t look any further than Aaron to provide you with the best ceremony music, dance music and uplighting…I promise it is nothing short of spectacular!

PS - add uplighting to your package! It changes the entire room and adds so much!

Aaron was awesome! We were so glad we went with Aaron and the DJ/live music mix. Aaron played live music during dinner and then DJ music for dancing. Our guests were on the dance floor as soon as Aaron started playing his live music. Most of our guests danced all night! I know I did :) I highly recommend Aaron's DJ and live music services. Also, we did go with the up-lighting and it gave the venue that extra special touch. Choose Aaron for your event and I'm sure you will be happy that you did.

My wife and I went to several weddings this year and experienced several DJ’s. We were both really happy that we chose Aaron. The planning process was very low-stress, and the wedding went off without a hitch. Aaron was able to get the party going without being over-the-top about it. We found Aaron on Weddingwire.com and after seeing his site and reading reviews we didn't even consider another DJ. His style--super professional and understated really stood out against other DJs who seemed a little over the top for us. I immediately loved the idea of having Aaron's classical guitar at the ceremony. We had about 6 months to plan our wedding and Aaron's communication was always very clear and professional and we were impressed by his attention to detail--he really made us look good when it came to the wedding day. Because we had spent time going over things carefully in advance, the wedding day went off without a hitch! The general feedback from our family and friends was also along the lines of "How did you meet Aaron?"--they all assumed we were longtime friends. Aaron is amazing!!! We were so glad that we chose him - we purchased the package with live classical guitar for our ceremony, live music for dinner (he's got a great voice) and then full DJ services for dancing! we got so many compliments on how great our wedding was, and I'm certain that Aaron and his team had something to do with it! We could not be happier with having Aaron DJ at our wedding! Aaron was so helpful and professional through the whole process and made everything so easy. With planning a wedding on our own it was so great not have to worry about the entertainment, especially the cost of it.

Aaron was flexible and helpful in planning out the whole day. He had incite and ideas on things we would have never thought about and truly made the day special. We were not too picky on song choices and put our faith in Aaron's experience to make a successful night. This paid off in so many ways as Aaron kept a great flow all night and we have gotten so many comments about how great the music was. Aaron made the whole night feel personal and "so us".

Aaron kept us on schedule through dinner and special moments and when it was time to dance, the floor was full until the last song. He was able to fit in a slow dance or two at the perfect time and never spoke more than he needed too (everyone has been to a wedding where the DJ talks way too much). He seemed to enjoy himself the whole time and really kept the energy up.

Aaron went above and beyond when he recorded a song for the mother/groom dance with the mother of the Groom on vocals. It was truly special and professionally done.

I can't recommend Aaron enough for music/DJ during any party of your wedding day. We had such a great time and we know Aaron was a huge part of why all our guest enjoyed themselves on our special day.

We are so lucky that we found Aaron and booked him so early for our wedding. He was by far the best part about our day. All of our guests are still talking about how we had the best DJ they have ever seen at a wedding, and several of our friends plan to try to book him when they get married too! And he is also such a great musician! He did our ceremony music, and he played (even longer than we planned) for our bonfire the night before and was awesome!! He is so friendly and personable, but mainly keeps the music and party going the whole time. We had people singing along and cheering at the bonfire and they all had a great time.
He is also so organized and helped us plan the timing of everything and helped us pick out songs. And he basically came up with all of the dance music for our reception and everything was great- People said it's the most fun and most they have danced at any wedding. The floor was packed with people all night. I can't say enough good things about him, and we are so happy he was there to make our day extra special.

Aaron was AWESOME! and incredibly affordable. He kept people on the dance floor all night, was not annoying and talkative on the mike(a key point for us), and even came to our after party, (free of charge!) and played acoustic and partied with us until the wee hours of the morning! We chose Aaron solely on an online research and I liked that he was not only a DJ but, performed live ceremony music as well. We were not disappointed!

When we first met - he played a song for us, Chicago - Only the Beginning - and I knew he was the one we were looking for to provide the musical backdrop for our special day.

What impressed me from the start was Aaron's attention to detail. We did not want a cookie cutter reception and had different ideas instead of the traditional dances and timeline - and he worked with our ideas and offered suggestions to improve on them when needed. Aaron Denny is an excellent musician! We had so many compliments directed toward him during our wedding reception. He did live ceremony and live dinner music with his guitar, and DJ'd our reception. It was beautiful. He was great to work with prior to our wedding, too... very thorough when it came to the details, and he had suggestions for us to enhance our reception experience, too. Unique, talented and professional musician and DJ

Aaron Denny is a musical anomaly. Aaron will add the unique and romantic touch to your wedding. Aaron serenaded our guests with his acoustic guitar and smooth vocals. He made our ceremony extra special by playing our favorite songs acoustically. Guests raved about his musical talent throughout the evening and are still talking about it now.

Aaron was truly a professional partner in the wedding planning process. We had an interesting wedding where we utilized 4 different spaces on the property, thus Aaron had to setup four different times. He came to the venue early that day to setup and get acclimated with the area. He was extremely proactive throughout the planning process. Aaron was professional, kind and provided candid feedback when going over timeline and details. He’s quietly confident which will in turn make you rest easy knowing you and your guests are about to have the time of your life--and that we did! He was a great help in making the vision of our wedding come true.

The whole evening he played his guitar with a smile on his face and serenaded us all with some of my favorite songs from Van Morrison to Bob Seger. We opted to also hire his assistant who myself, my husband and guests have been singing praises about as well. Both Aaron and his assistant would step down from the DJ equipment to engage with the crowd and get people to dance. His assistant even led the Thriller dance which was a blast. Aaron truly added an element of romance with the acoustic and vocals at the ceremony, cocktail hour and dinner; and added a great deal of fun and laughs at the dancing portion of our reception. I would highly recommend Aaron for your event, celebration and/or wedding. Hiring Aaron was one of the best vendor decisions we made and I guarantee it will be for you too.

Aaron was an incredible DJ for our wedding. He made the planning part incredibly simple, with an in-depth form to fill out. This helped ensure that Aaron would be able to play all the songs we love, introduce us exactly the way we wanted, move the reception along in our pre-planned order, and even avoid the songs we dis-like. Aaron helped keep out dance floor full the entire night. We even had him sing and play his guitar during dinner. All the guests loved him! And we could not have been more pleased. We had been to weddings before where the DJ was annoying, talked too much, made bad jokes, and embarrassed the bride and groom. After reading the one negative review on here, my husband and I refuse to believe that could be Aaron When we met Aaron, we knew that we had found a not only a great DJ, but a nice guy, and he helped make our wedding even more wonderful.

We had Aaron Denny do the full package for us which included classical guitar for the ceremony, acoustic set for the cocktail hour and then he slid into our DJ for the night. He is a great musician/guitarist that knows many songs, both old and new. We were pleasantly surprised when he whipped out his guitar during dinner to play a few more songs live while our guest ate their dinner. As a DJ he kept the floor packed for the whole night. While still getting in our requested songs seamlessly throughout the night. He pulled out all the guns for the dance party, which included a light show and fog machine. Not your typical wedding DJ...way, way better! I wish there were more stars that I could give him because he is great!

We used Aaron for our wedding on 10-10-10. It was one of the best decisions we made. From my first email to Aaron, to one we just send with a quick question, he answered quickly. Aaron got to know my husband and me, so he was able to help us make perfect selections. Aaron was so helpful in planning the music for our wedding, which included beautiful accoustic ceremony music. Aaron also provided DJ services for our reception. The music he played made the reception was so fun. People we never expected to dance were on their feet. Aaron even danced with my 3 year old nieces!

Your wedding music can really make or break a wedding and without question, Aaron Denny was a great decision. I would recomend Aaron to any bride.

Let me start off my saying we had soooo many of our guests come up to us to say Aaron is the best DJ they have ever heard.

And we have a ton of friends and family who have been to a LOT of amazing weddings. People have been emailing and calling saying our wedding reception was the best they have ever been to and that is due in large part to how unbelievably amazing Aaron was! He played the perfect mix of music and the dance floor was packed the entire night. He was so good our guests asked if he could stay an extra hour! So that means people were on the dance floor for almost four hours....dancing the night away to the awesome music Aaron played.

Aaron also played the classical guitar during our wedding ceremony and acoustic guitar during our cocktail hour. He is such a talented musician with an amazing voice...everyone loved it!

I also have to comment on how friendly and accommodating Aaron is. He was so great to work with during the planning process and was such a pleasure to work with on our big day!

Aaron was terrific at our weddding. We had him play the guitar at the wedding and cocktail hour and then he was the dj at the wedding. It was so convenient to have the same person doing all 3 things for us. We got married at the Mountain View Grand in NH and he called the wedding coordinator and set everything up with her to make sure things ran smoothly. He offered us great suggestions for wedding music and everything was perfect. I would highly recommend him to anybody. Our guest were very impressed. I got married in June and I have a friend that is getting married in October and Aaron has inspired her to hire a guitarist for her wedding. She would have hired Aaron but she is getting married 8 hours away from NH :(

We hired Aaron to play classical guitar during cocktail hour and then DJ our reception. Unfortunately, I was taking pictures during cocktail hour so I did not get a chance to hear this, but I got more compliments from my guests on this than any other thing on my wedding day. He was a hit with my guests and they said not only did he have a great voice, but they loved his song selections. Aaron was also great during the reception - he choose the right music to get everyone on the dance floor and at the same time respected our wishes to not play any wedding games (i.e. the electric slide, the congo line).

Not only was Aaron great the day of, but he was easy to work with, professional, very knowledgeable about music and organized! I would highly recommend Aaron.

Aaron Denny is AWESOME. He plays Classical Guitar beautifully and it made our ceremony really special. Aaron is also incredibly organized. He made sure everyone was doing what they were supposed to be doing, when they were supposed to be doing it! He helped us set up a schedule for the ceremony & reception and helped us feel really comfortable the day of our wedding. He played all of our silly song requests and had the whole room dancing. The music was always right on time and Aaron didn't miss a single cue. I would absolutely recommend him to anyone looking for an awesome DJ and musician!

Aaron provided both live acoustic guitar and song, and dj services for our wedding on June 14th of this year. From the initial point of contact to the actual performances at the wedding, he was personable, professional, respectful of our wishes, knowledgeable, and talented. He really listened to what we wanted, adapted the music to our event and styles, and performed beautifully.

His acoustic guitar accompaniment during the ceremony and dinner hour of the reception was tailored for the bride and groom, in concert with events and lovely.

Aaron adjusted his music style (and volume) to meet the timeline of events and made the post-dinner reception so memorable. The dance floor was full all evening and guests were sorry the party had to end! One of our guests is a professional musician and describe Aaron as "awesome" - a significant complement from someone in the business. Young and older guests, alike, all enjoyed the music and spirit of the evening.

One last note, Aaron provided all of these services without being in the spotlight. He directed attention to the bride and groom, not to himself. We can't thank him enough for helping to make the day/evening so memorable.

We hired Aaron to play acoustic guitar for our ceremony / dinner hour and DJ our cocktail hour and reception. To say he was amazing is an understatement. He plays beautiful acoustic guitar and had wonderful choices for our ceremony music. He is very knowledgeable and thorough, and made perfect recommendations for reception music - everyone danced all night! He was one of our favorite vendors to work with and we would recommend him hands down.

Aaron was great!

Aaron was so great to work with and such a talented musician! Aaron was part of our whole wedding day from playing classical guitar at the ceremony, providing music at our cocktail hour, live music during dinner, and then DJ'ed at the reception! We had so many compliments from our guests on how amazing the music was from start to finish so we can't thank Aaron enough for all of his help!

Aaron was my Ceremony Musician, Cocktail Hour & Reception Musician. I fell in Love with Aaron's sound when I first visited his website. Not a lot of people has heard of Aaron but I highly suggest him. I recently watched our video from the wedding and he sounded amazing. Soothing and was not overwhelming. ALL of the suggestions of songs for the reception were great based on the age group we had. I recommend Aaron & Thank you!

Aaron Denny is amazing! He was very responsive throughout my planning and offered so many suggestions to help me pick-out the perfect songs for my reception. Aaron sang acoustic during dinner and everyone loved it! This was such a unique touch, he is a very talented singer! During dancing he played all my songs I wanted him and also played songs that got everyone on the dance floor. He mixed up old songs and new songs to fit all my guests age groups. My dance floor was packed the entire night with people dancing and having a good time. I strongly recommend hiring Aaron Denny as your DJ and also as a acoustic singer for either dinner or cocktail hour. He is a one man shop and his prices are reasonable. Trust me, you won’t be disappointed!!!!!

Aaron did an excellent job! He played live for my ceremony, first dance and dinner. He DJ'ed the rest of the event and did an outstanding job reading the crowd and working to get everyone out having a great time :o) And the fact that I was able to dance to our first dance played live was a dream come true!

Aaron is an exceptional musician and deejay. I first found him based on reviews online and was drawn to him even more when I realized he played acoustic guitar and could play both our ceremony music and deejay our wedding. His music samples online were beautiful. We booked him about a year in advance and throughout the year I tried to touch base with him a couple times, just with some quick questions---he was a bit slow to respond, but I did get a response and once we got closer to the date, there were no problems getting in touch with him. He played acoustic guitar for our ceremony and we are still receiving lots of excellent compliments regarding the music he played before the ceremony started (I only wish I'd been able to hear it!!!). He then deejayed our cocktail hour and the best part was his live dinner music. I was in awe of his talent and everyone absolutely loved his music---it was such a nice touch! Aside from his music talent on the guitar, Aaron is an excellent deejay, reading the crowd and keeping the dance floor packed all night. We had a great time, and everyone thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of his music all night!

Aaron just did our wedding in July and he was great! Everyone was commenting about how beautiful the classical guitar was. And he was super helpful with putting together our timeline!

Aaron is phenomenal! He is organized, talented, and truly cares about the outcome of your night. His goal is to please everyone and make sure everyone has a great time. He suggested I make a timeline of events and hand it out to all vendors and wedding party so everything goes smoothly. I'm so glad I did that because we had a very large wedding party and it just made the processional, introductions, first dance, dinner, cake cutting, speeches, etc go without any confusion, interruptions or delays. He played our ceremony music live to which most of our guests didn't even know it was LIVE, he's that good! He also played our first dance live and it actually reduced me to tears because I couldn't believe how perfect it was. My dance floor was packed all night, he kept us engaged, I didn't even tell him what songs were a must to play, I just trusted he would know. He is very fairly priced and he delivers what he promises. My only complaint was that I had requested to give my centerpieces away and a blessing before dinner, which never got announced but I think it was because the best man and MOH speeches went extremely long. The most important thing was that we all had a good time and I would recommend Aaron to everyone!!!

Dear Mr. Denny,
We would like to share our review of your services at our wedding on July 9, 2011. We hope our review not only helps you with your service and your actions in the future but also helps any potential customer of yours that reads our review.
We were very displeased not only in your actions prior to our wedding but extremely displeased in your actions during our wedding. We understand that emotions can skew a review of a service so we’ll try to just address the facts.
The first point we would like to make was your unwillingness to meet us geographically, “half way” during pre-wedding meeting. We had made the suggestion to meet in the Manchester, NH area which is less than 30 miles from both of us and you were only willing to meet us in locations that were well over an hour drive for us. Although we were displeased with the available options, this was just a minor inconvenience.
The next point we would like to address would be the music that we requested to be played during our wedding. There were specific songs that we wanted to have played during our wedding. We did acknowledge your opinion and your insight from your experiences but it was our wedding and our guests. We requested specific music that was readily commercially available that you did not play. It was not our intention to hire the services of a censurer but hire the services of a disc jockey to play the music we requested. Even the, “Chicken Dance” was not played for the groom to enjoy dancing to with his Mother.
The most egregious acts during this entire process are easily the fact that you were, “hitting on” multiple guests during our wedding. Dancing on the dance floor during the wedding is totally unacceptable! Handing out business cards to female guests unsolicited on the dance floor was completely unprofessional! Making our guests feel, “very uncomfortable” is not only unacceptable but very unprofessional! This not only affected our guests but affected us greatly when we had to hear about it from multiple guests that were exposed to your actions.
We wanted to let you know that we were very displeased with you and your actions. We would not recommend you or your services to anyone. We wanted to let you know our review directly and let you know we will be posting this review in every outlet we can offer a review of your services.
One more point to make, as much as it may be trivial compared to the other points, make sure that you announce the couple by the correct name for their first official announcement.

I would leave zero stars if possible. His DJing was acceptable- although it's really his assistant who does the majority of the work since Aaron was on the dance floor making my bridesmaids (half of which were underage girls), bartenders and photographer feel uncomfortable. He was described as being "creepy and inappropriate" by numerous guests. If you have beautiful girls around, he will be doing his best to hit on them. As for his DJ ability, he is not bad. He is not amazing, but he will play the music you give him. I picked great music, so my guests enjoyed it. Simple as that. He did decide to randomly play a country song after I had specifically requested that absolutely no country which was unacceptable. It took all I had to contain my anger as it was explicitly stated that we have absolutely no country music.
His assistant was found to be smoking marijuana in the parking lot. Awesome. Aaron helped himself to the open bar as well. I did not hire him to party with us- he is not our friend or guest- he was providing a service. When confronted with all this, he alleges it a part of his routine to mingle and interact with my guests. Yeah, no thanks guy.
Later in the evening after hours, he decided to join us at our campfire and disrupt our pretty mellow mood with some loud obnoxious 80s music and refused to take anyone's wishes into consideration. This in turn caused my brother to to confront him and more vocally reiterate what others were asking. He was then told "I'm the one with the guitar. Sit down and shut the f*ck up." This was in front of my sisters and the owner of my venue. A physical altercation almost broke out, and I'm sure He will try to blame it on my brother having being inebriated, but even if he was sober, he would not have stood for being disrespected the way he was. In short, Aaron is unprofessional and disrespectful. He is arrogant and cannot own up to his actions. I wouldn't recommend him in a million years.
