  Amazing DJ!

  My husband and I got married in June 2021 at the Briar Barn Inn. From the start, Jason was responsive to our emails and great to chat with over the phone. The music for the ceremony was perfect as well as for cocktail hour. We had a combination of introduction songs that he played perfectly, and he kept the dance floor going all night! Thank you again, Jason, for making our wedding day so wonderful.

  The Best DJ Ever

  We hired them for our wedding. They were the best. When our caterer messed up, the DJ was paying attention. He brought it to the attention of the caterer and got it fixed for us. The music was great, and everyone danced all night long.

  Perfect! Thank You

  I would like to thank Jason and his team for everything they did for me at my wedding. We had to make some last-minute changes and last-minute song changes and he was right on the ball Force. He kept the Dance Floor. And I couldn't be happier. A true Family Affair was easy to work with and promptly returned all of my calls. Thank you so much for making my wedding day a day I will never forget.

  Jason of A True Family Affair was magnificent. He kept the dance floor crowded during the dancing portion of our wedding. Jason was extremely easy to work with and talk to. Scott and I had a multicultural wedding and about 99% of my family listen to Chinese music, he was able to locate and obtain some popular Chinese music for us and played them during dinner. He went above and beyond expectations and worked closely with my photographer and wedding coordinator to ensure that reception would go smoothly.
  
  Jason was a great find, I highly recommend him as a DJ.

  Dear Jason, I just wanted to write to you and tell you what a great job you did. the music sounded wonderful and everyone had such a great time. All of the kids loved the balloons that you made them. I was very pleased with the performance that you gave as my Deejay. I am so glad that I chose to have you as my deejay. I will be using your services again sometime in the near future. I look forward to working with you again on making my next party just as great.   Terrible service

  This DJ did not contact me or even want to have a consultation with me until three days before the wedding. He barley spoke on the call & clearly decided he was going to do his own thing. I wrote out his entire form with explicit details of songs and things that were going to happen during the day and announcements I wanted made. During the ceremony wrong songs were played and we needed to correct him in the middle of all of our guest. During heartfelt speeches their microphones went in and out with lots of static. How he corrected it was by slamming his equipment on the DJ booth in a quiet room full of people intently listening to a heartfelt speech by my daughter. We had a specific list and genre of songs we wanted played we heard maybe three of them after being guaranteed that he would follow the page he asked us to fill out. He took requests when we specifically said not to. This DJ almost introduced my bridesmaid and groomsmen as the bride and groom but quickly caught himself right before. The dance floor was sparse and people enjoyed outdoor time more than they did inside. I should have just hired a friend of mine to coordinate all the music through a Bluetooth speaker we would’ve been better off. I highly recommend someone other than this DJ.

  4 months after the wedding, she wanted a sudden full refund, this after her father had opened his wallet at the end of the night to give me a tip. Her aunt paid for my services, but she wanted the full refund for herself. I have multiple emails offering her to call at her convenience, we even set up a time, and she didn't call. When we spoke before the wedding, I asked her as I do all my customers to stay near the dance floor, instead her and her new husband spent nearly two hours outside during the dancing portion of the evening. The guests went outside to be with them. I played all 16 of her requested songs, and a last minute request from her lovely daughter and new husband.
