Wonderful!!

The owner was my designer who helped with my dress experience! She was absolutely wonderful and listened to what I wanted, not just what others wanted. The dress I decided on was actually the first dress I tried on! I’m considered “plus size” but I didn’t have any issues finding a dress. They have everything from form fitting to ballgown.

I highly recommend paying for the private event, they serve snacks and mimosas. One of my bridesmaids loved my experience so much she came back for her own wedding also!

One down side - I do wish they had more inclusive sizes for their bridesmaids samples. My bridesmaids are smaller and even those were pretty tight fitting. My larger sized girls went to Davids bridal instead because they were able to try dresses on there at least. Hard to tell if you like a dress if you can’t try it on, and there is no returns or exchanges if it’s ordered but didn’t fit right.

Best Wedding Dress Choice

Storybook has a great staff that will help you find the perfect dress for you! They have a large selection of styles and shades that will give you plenty of options for choosing the right dress for your special day. They are well organized, with a timeline including an information you need to know about the wedding dress process. If you have any questions outside of what is provided they are quick to respond and extremely helpful. Also, if you find THE dress on your first visit to their store they give great deals to help with costs for both the bride and bridesmaids if you go through them for their dresses too, like I did!

Beautiful dresses!

I had such a great experience with everyone here. They make you feel so confident when trying on dresses and make the entire time stress free. All the girls are so sweet too! I found the dress of my dreams and I couldn’t be happier with how it looked on my wedding day!

Great experience!

They helped me get the PERFECT dress and without pushing me to blow the budget. Everyone was super nice and helpful. Plus they have a partner available to help with alterations.

Beyond Impressed

I have always looked to Storybook first for special occasions. From my flower girl dress for my aunts wedding to prom and now my wedding. I couldn’t be happier! I initially had no intention of trying on dresses until Amy took the time to listen to my likes and dislikes and made the experience more enjoyable. I ended up saying YES to the dress of my dreams and I cannot wait to wear it during my upcoming wedding.

I tried multiple dress stores, but nothing came close to Storybook Ending. My bridal consultant was absolutely wonderful. She took all of my ideas and found the perfect dress for me!

Go here!! There amazing. I went in just to look and ended up buying a dress:) I was beyond scared to try one on since I'm a bigger girl. But they made me feel so comfortable! The manager is on point and just a sweetheart.

I purchased my wedding stress from A Storybook Ending for my September 9th wedding. The initial dress hunt phase was stress-free and professional and once I said 'yes', we received champagne to celebrate! The store is lovely and all of the staff was so kind and helpful each time we were there. I received so many compliments the day of on how beautiful the dress was and couldn't have been happier with the whole experience!

I am officially a believer in the saying "when you know you know!" Kristi and everyone at Storybook were so fun and easy going. They popped out the mimosas the second they say my mom, sister, and I crying over "the one!" It was the most magical moment and i'll never forget it! Thank you thank you!

This store is amazing! I had a suboptimal experience at the first bridal shop I went to and walking into storybook ending was like a breath of fresh air.. the staff is so friendly and they make you feel special. Christi helped me find my perfect dress, she was great.. there's a lot of different dresses to choose from and they make it so easy to pick a dress and see all kinds of styles.

I have been married for 10 years but we eloped the first time. Now we are renewing or vows and having a wedding we didn't have the first time around! Storybook ending was the second store I went to for dress searching in December. I should have went there first! I had a vision of what I wanted for my barn wedding. They helped me find the dress! I went to several store around the quad city area, I couldn't find anything, then I took the short drive to de Witt and found my dream dress! Storybook endings was so helpful and sweet! Had a great day!

Excellent service! Amazing experience! I loved Storybook Ending in Dewitt. I felt everyone was friendly and helped me find what I was looking for. I did buy my dress from this place and I thought I would never find a dress but it was the first one I picked out and I didn't even know it. I had heard great things about a storybook ending so once I started planning my wedding this was the first place that I wanted to go. They were very kind to me and my family. They didn't pressure me into buying a dress but I couldn't help myself since I found the one! They have a lot of beautiful dresses to choose from and I will definitely recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a wedding dress!

I came in today with my family to look for a wedding dress. From the moment we stepped inside we were greeted and welcomed with smiles. It was easy to look for a dress and they answered all our questions. Sarah who was our consultant was a big help and made the experience relaxing and fun! I walked in with a style and design that I had pictured in my mind. I found the one dress that I really liked online but wasn't sure of it. It was the first one I chose to flag as one I wanted and was ultimately the one I said yes to. I will definitely recommend this bridal shop to others!! From the moment that you walk in the shop you feel like you are part of a big family.

A wedding dress was not in my future, and then it happened. All the ladies at Storybook Ending are incredible, and make dress shopping such a fun experience. I have to admit what I thought I liked was not working out for me, then Christi (my consultant) found the dress! I would have never tried the dress on if I was in charge  I Love it, and feel so beautiful! I say A Storybook Ending is a definite must for brides to be of all ages!!

We went to Storybook ending to find my daughter a dress. With Christi's wonderful help, not only did my daughter say YES to the dress BUT my other daughter also said YES to a dress. So yes I walked out of there with two very very happy daughters. Two weddings in 2017, 2 extremely happy daughters, 1 consultant that totally exceeded our expectations (Christi), 1 bridal shop (storybook ending) = PRICELESS EXPERIENCE! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!???????

I went into Storybook Ending looking for a dress for my wedding that was just a little over two months away. I had already purchased a different dress from a different bridal shop and no longer felt special in it. Thanks to my amazing consultant I found the perfect dress for my wedding that luckily I was able to buy right off of the rack. I finally felt relieved and like I was going to look beautiful on my wedding day. If it wasnt for Storybook I would of been absolutely miserable in my original dress. I have visited Storybook Ending many times with my friends when they were wedding dress shopping, and I knew it was the first place that I wanted to look for my own special day. The ladies at Storybook are wonderful to work with! I had gone in, not sure if I would be getting a dress that day or not. I had picked my 5 dresses and had liked one, but asked Myrna to pick one that I hadn't. The decision was tough, but in the end I know the dress Myrna found was perfect! The ladies of A Storybook Ending were wonderful! A friend had gotten her dress there and recommended it to me. My Mom and I headed out early on a Saturday to visit them and loved the whole experience. Myrna greeted us warmly and walked us through the salon. We loved their process of selection. I was handed 5 colored rings and asked to look through the gowns and put the rings on the 5 that I would like to try and then Myrna pulled them 1 by 1. At the end of the 5 if I hadn't selected one of my choices, Myrna would start pulling other dresses to consider. I chose the 2nd gown that I tried on! It was gorgeous and fit beautifully on my wedding day.

I used their recommended alterations lady (Patty) and she was wonderful. She is quick and efficient. Neither of my appointments with her took more than 30 minutes and her prices were super reasonable!

Overall, I'm thrilled with the choice to drive up to A Storybook Ending! Thank you to all the ladies there for making me look gorgeous on my wedding!

A tip- they don't take appointments so be sure to show up early if you're going shopping on a weekend!

My mom and I went into A Storybook Ending not for sure if I would find my dress or not. I walked in and had a very nice welcome. Every employee there is so nice! We were helped right away. As we browsed the store waiting for a consultant to become available (which didn't take long at all) we headed back to look at bridesmaid dresses. Well when our consultant came looking for us she introduced herself as Myrna. My mom and I immediately got tears in our eyes. See my Grandma passed away several years ago and would have been there today if she could have, my Grandmas name is Myrna. As soon as I heard our consultant say her name I knew in my heart I would find my dress today, because Grandma was with us and she sure let us know that. I was very happy with my consultant Myrna. She was so helpful, kind, honest, and actually reminded me a lot of my Grandma. She also helped me find my beautiful wedding dress after trying on only 3 dresses! So thank you Myrna for a great experience, defiantly one I will never forget. And thank you to everyone else that was great help today.

My experience at A Storybook Ending was fantastic! The sales associates were very knowledgeable about the dresses they had in the store and pulled me plenty of samples to try on based on what I said I wanted. I ended up finding my dress that day! And it was the second one I tried on. They also accommodated my aunt who is disabled; so that meant the world to me! I would recommend going there to anyone!

Went to Storybook Ending today. When we walked in the door we were blown away at how many people were there, and thought for sure it'd take awhile to be helped. Within minutes of walking in, I was registered and choosing dresses, and was made to feel as if I was the only one in there. I am amazed and touched at the personal care I was given, along with my bridesmaids. We all felt special today trying on dresses! Nicole was amazing!! She was professional, comforting and knew the exact touches to add to complete the look.

I had a great experience working with Storybook Bridal. I did not feel rushed to get through my appointment. My sales person was friendly and offered honest opinions. My two daughters were shopping with me and she included them, asking their opinions and what they wanted to see their mom wear for her wedding. My sales person always recognized me by name when I came back to purchase accessories and for my fittings, My dress arrived when they said it would. Alterations were easy to arrange and were done on time. A last minute issue with how the dress was pressed was taken care of right away and was not a problem. Very fun and low stress experience.

I went shopping for my wedding gown last weekend and Storybook Ending was my first stop. The salon has a great selection of beautiful wedding gowns and it is such an inviting place to shop. My consultant, Myrna, was a great help throughout the process of shopping and trying on gowns. She was very respectful of not only my opinions, but my family's as well. I had seen A Storybook Ending on Facebook and a few of my friends had found their wedding dress at this store. It was at the top of my list to look for my wedding dress as well. I made my appoint for this shop along with a few others just in case, but ended up cancelling the other appointments because I found the dress of my dreams at this shop!! I was so happy with the service I received, the selection of dresses and how helpful my sales associate was. It was almost as if she knew what I wanted before I even knew!! I would HIGHLY suggest checking out A Storybook Ending when looking for your wedding dress. I also went on a Friday morning which was really nice because we were the only party there looking at dresses at the time and it made for a nice intimate setting.

They have a really large selection and good prices! I ended up getting a dress "off the rack", that was the last one. They didn't rush me even though I ended up trying on about 30 dresses in two different visits before I actually found THE ONE!

My experience with A Storybook Ending was absolutely wonderful! Myrna helped me select the perfect gown and accessories, and the staff checked to make sure I could order and receive the belt I wanted in time. I would encourage brides to explore the gowns at the back of the store which can be purchased and taken home the same day-- that's where I found mine for a surprisingly affordable price! Overall I am extremely happy with my purchase and thrilled that I found my gown locally.

Storybook was the first place I went to try on wedding dresses. I had an idea in mind and with the help of my consultant, she found me my DREAM wedding dress. As soon as she put on the finishing touches (veil and belt), I immediately started crying, knowing that it was THE dress. I would recommend Storybook to any upcoming brides!!

I recently found my dream dress at A Storybook Ending! We were met by friendly staff members and were impressed with the selection that the store had to offer. This was the first time I had tried on or looked at dresses, so I was worried that I wouldn't be able to find and decide on a dress that I loved. Very quickly after I began to try on dresses, Christi knew exactly what I would like and was very helpful in putting me in dresses that were exactly what I was looking for! Storybook Ending created the perfect shopping experience! The moment we walked in the door looking for my wedding dress, we were greeted and given instructions on how to browse for dresses. Christi was excellent at helping me find the dresses I previously had picked out as well as some beautiful new ones to try on. Prior to coming to A Storybook Ending, I had tried on a countless number of dresses, never being fully satisfied. With the wide selection of dresses they carry I found more than one that I liked! I would highly recommend this Bridal shop for anyone. I fell absolutely in love a dress and also their staff. They make you feel very comfortable and actually listen to what you want in your dress. I found the dress of my dreams here today. I had gone to a couple other local bridal shops and didn't find the experience that I did at a storybook ending. From the moment you walk in the door they greet you with a smile and explain the whole process for their store. They assigned me to Krystal and she was very patient and helpful. I tried on five dresses, but only because I was trying to keep an open mind. I knew when I tried on the first dress it was the one for me. After saying "Yes" to my dress the process didn't stop there. They explained what steps needed to be taken next and gave me a folder that was filled with a timeline for the other attire that needs to be purchased, brochures for tuxes and bridesmaid dresses, and a list of discounts I get for purchasing my gown at this store. They also gave me a bottle of wine that I intend to save to enjoy the day of. One of the things that stuck out to me about storybook over the other local bridal salons is the set up of their store. They have the store laid out by size and style. All of the dresses are spaced out nicely and easy to see. It was very easy to navigate and decide which style was for you. Some of the other stores had the racks stuffed so tight and all sizes squeezed together it could become very frustrating. I thoroughly recommend A storybook Ending.

Myrna helped me today when I went into the store. She gave her honest opinion when asked and pulled dresses that she thought fit me best and I ended up leaving with one she had picked!!! I love the freedom to browse first then starting one on one with the consultant. It was nice how each bride had their own room with space rather than having multiple brides in the same mirror. Overall great experience and happy to say I said YES to the dress!

This Salon is by far the best I've stepped foot in. The quality of dresses here compared to other stores is not even comparable. All of the employees were extremely helpful, friendly, and very knowledgeable. My consultant was the greatest, so sweet and very attentive to my wants. It was a breath of fresh air going into a salon that was so bright and clean. They had so many styles of dresses and were organized very well. I would definitely recommend this salon to anyone!

I loved working with Christie to find my perfect wedding dress! She was very attentive and made me feel like a princess! I had been to other wedding chains and didn't get the feeling that the other places truly cared about what dress I picked. They steamed my dress and vail for free and let me keep it there at the store after the alterations were completed! A Storybook Ending made my wedding dress buying experience an absolute dream! Their staff was extremely accomodating and coudl not have been anymore friendly or patient - I had no idea what kind of dress I wanted and my consultant (Kristi) patiently let me try on everything I wanted until I found "The One". After purchasing it, they let me come back multiple times with friends and family to show them the dress and were always happy to see me. Highly recommend!!

As a plus size bride dress shopping had not been a good experience for me. I had been to several other stores and left in tears because nothing was available for me to try in a size that would fit that was like what I was looking for. I went to storybook ending with very poor expectations based on my other experiences and ended up leaving having bought my dress which was absolutely beautiful. Their selection I would say is superior to other stores in the area and the service was always amazing.

Great service and selection! We went all over the area and even to Chicago to look for dresses. Little did I know what I wanted was so close to my home. A friend told me about Storybook Endings and that ended my search! I found all of my things there...bridal, veil, tiara and the jewelry I bought was perfect. I've never seen anything like it in any of the stores. I even found a cute little flowergirl dress to match. The seamstress there was great! She was so helpful and my dress fit beautifully! I definitely think all of you brides that are still looking for the perfect dress should go to DeWitt. You won't believe how many unique dresses they have to chose from. I had a great experience with Storybook Ending Bridals! The dress I chose was one of their exclusive collections and I found it after shopping all over the Quad Cities. They store everything that you purchase there so I never had to worry about picking up my things until the week of my wedding. This was really important to me. My wedding was this past weekend. It was all that I had hoped for...except the weather could have been a little better! All of my gowns (bridal, bridesmaids, mothers and flowergirls dresses) came from Storybook Endings in DeWitt. They did a fabulous job with all of the gowns! Couldn't be happier! I've purchased other dresses here as well (bridesmaids for other weddings and even my prom dress) and every single time I've had a great experience. Dress shopping for me wasnt all that great. I went to several different bridal shops in the QC, and wasnt impressed. I probably shopped for 1 ½ years for a dress, and had no luck. One day my SIL and I just went there to look and check the place. Myrna and the other girls are so great! They remember you ever time you go in. I got my dress, veil, shoes, bridesmaids dresses, and accessories there. I wish I would have gone there the first time I went dress shopping.

Hands down the best bridal salon I visited! I started dress shopping at A Storybook Ending and found THE DRESS on day one. My consultant, Christi was wonderful and not at all pushy when I decided to wait and do a little more shopping. After visiting 4 other bridal salons, I realized the variety, quality of dresses and people at A Storybook Ending couldn't be rivaled. I was very impressed with Storybook Ending. My mom and I went to look at wedding dresses and immediately I was impressed with the cleanliness and bright space of the store. We did go to look at another store but ultimately returned to Storybook Ending. They were great to work with and the dresses they had were beautiful. While trying on dresses, we got our own mirror space to view the dresses without being crammed in with other people (granted, we went first thing in the morning before they got really busy).

Then mom started to cry too and I knew it was the dress for me. Myrna was very nice and helpful! I had heard about their store through my sister who works in the town and many people told her they found their own wedding dress there. I was excited to go there and glad I found my dress. Their shop is nice and things are spread out so it's not so cluttered and difficult to look through dresses and accessories. The whole staff was great! I recommend anyone to go to their store and see the great selection that they have!

Storybook Ending was great to work with. I found a wonderful dress that I loved, but I spent more than I had planned.

I visited Davids Bridal and another local dress shop and shopping at Storybook was completely different. My friend and I had the whole shop to ourselves and a consultant who was at our side the whole time.

I also got my dress altered here and she did a great job. I was surprised at the alterations cost, it was on the lower end of what I expected. They also stored my dress the whole time up until the wedding and I thought that was a great free service.

My bridesmaids bought their dresses here and that went well.

I would definitely recommend this shop to other brides.

My experience at Storybook Ending was great. We were able to look at the dresses without being overwhelmed. We were able to try on the dresses quickly and someone was able to help us with accessories quickly. The quality of the dresses was much better than any other QC stores. I highly recommend.

My experience at Storybook Ending was nothing short of perfect. The consultant was patient and listened to what I wanted and made suggestions that were nothing less than spot on. Bride's Dress

I wanted a simple dress as we had a luau wedding. I advised the associate I was working with & she did bring out this pretty yet simple dress. It was $1,500! I couldn't believe it, it was so plain! I went into the bridesmaid dress section, tried one on & fell in love. It was what I wanted & only $200!

I purchased my wedding dress from A Storybook Ending and absolutely fell in love with it! After waiting 5 looong months for my "special order, made to fit me" dress, it finally came in! The bridal consultant called to tell me there was a problem. The dress I special ordered with a zipper back was not the dress they received. The consultant asked me to remain open minded and come in to try the other dress on. I was willing to do so, but when I suggested a date and time I could come I was told that wouldn't work for her. The consultant didn't want me coming in on a busy Saturday, distracting from brides who were buying dresses during "busy season." (her words) She went on to be extremely rude about the entire situation and I finally spoke with the owner, who was completely professional, and she asked me to come in whenever worked for me. Long story short, the dress ended up working out and the owner made things right by giving me quite a few accessories and my veil free of charge. I was happy that they did make things right in the end, but I should have never been manipulated by the consultant in the first place. Overall, I would go back to Storybook Ending because they have so many beautiful dresses, I would just be cautious to avoid rude consultants!

This was a great place. I had a lot of fun and the woman who helped us was very nice and knew the right styles to match my body. The service was amazing. They made it easier to find the perfect dress and made it so much fun for my family and I. I would recommend checking it out.

I purchased my wedding dress from Storybook. I actually found them to have the best selection in the Quad City Area....however, there were a few major things I did not like about them...

1.) They are overpriced. They sell dresses under their own 'couture' line. These dresses are NOT limited to their boutique. They remove the original designer label from the dresses and use their own label. I imagine they do this so you can't price shop and find the dress elsewhere for cheaper. I forget the name/label they used on my dress...but my dress was actually a Kenneth Winston dress, Private Label G (my seamstress found another label sewn inside the dress). I could have ordered my same exact dress from other bridal boutiques in Chicago or Los Angeles for $600 less. $600 less!

2.) They don't allow you to take pictures in the dresses until you have PAID for a dress. Once again, because they probably don't want you to find the dress elsewhere for a more reasonable price. I found this ridiculous. Every other bridal boutique allowed me to take pictures in dresses (even the very high-end boutiques in Chicago and Los Angeles).

3.) They give a $25 discount if you write 3 good reviews about them on different websites. Be careful, this is why you see so many good/bias reviews.

i got my dress on clearance here and it had some burgundy color in it. my colors were navy and ivory. i asked if they could change out the color and they said that would be no problem but it was going to cost more. i said that was fine because i was getting a good deal on it anyway. when i paid off my dress and went to talk to the seamstress she told me she couldn't do it!!! so i took my dress and after making a few phone calls found someone who could do it for me. in short they lied to me, i wont be going back for anything, which is sad because i was going to get a party dress for my bachlorette party, as well as flower girl dresses. needless to say i went elsewhere for those.
