  Floral magic

  AP Bio flowers some how achieves perfection- elegant, creative, original, romantic, lush and beautiful but never garish or over the top. It must be a difficult balancing act but Doan at AP bio makes it look effortless. Every guest raved about the flowers. Our escort card table was hands down, the most original and beautiful ever. The individual flowers in every arrangement- just wow!....... somehow Doan is able to get the best flowers in NYC. She takes those beautiful flowers and spins them into pure magic. In addition, Doan is a wonderful to work with- she is gracious and flexible and joyful and kind!

  The Best NYC Wedding Florist

  The floral's we had at our wedding done by the amazing Doan and the a.p.bio designs team, was above and beyond our expectations! No one who attended our wedding can stop talking about how beautiful and incredible the flowers were. And we cannot stop staring at photos! She was amazing kind, patient, accommodating, and was able to create our dream vision with very little direction from us! Not one negative thing to say- must have this floral team!

  One word: Excellent!

  Doan and her team worked with my modest budget to create a memorable wedding for our event! The flowers, bridal bouquet and the table arrangements were absolutely gorgeous and created a beautiful backdrop to the wedding ceremony and dinner afterwards. Outstanding service!!!

  really incredible.

  Of all the incredible vendors we worked with for our wedding, Doan (AP Bio) was the most fun, warm, creative, and understanding. Of course we chose to work with her for her unique style and artistry, but within that she was beyond receptive to our ever changing vision. It was not easy for us to trust that our vendors would pull it together without our constant oversight, but with Doan I felt like we could let her run the whole show.
  
  Our guests were in disbelief over the floral design of the event. They are still talking about it 5 weeks later.
  
  I would not hesitate to work with Doan for future events, and I recommend her to anyone considering it.

  Beautiful flowers and wonderful to work with

  Everyone should work with a.p. bio as their florist! Doan is the owner and she is a lovely person. She sets up meetings to discuss and gauge what you would like in terms of your presentation and overall vibe. Moreover, she was very familiar with the Foundry and that was really important to us. I sent Doan pictures of what I like and the color scheme, and she immediately understood what I was going for. Additionally, we added vines in the package because there was a great mezzanine area at our venue and it just looked wonderful on the railing.
  
  Despite having an idea of what the flowers would be like, Doan and a.p. bio blew me away on the day of the wedding. The bouquets, the centerpieces, the additional ceremonial flowers and décor were even better than I dreamed of. A.p. bio is the best and the flowers were so unique and the arrangements exactly what I wanted on my wedding day. We heard such glowing reviews from our guests about the flowers, so many people took notice. A.p. bio is worth working with (Doan is creative and friendly!) and Doan and the a.p bio deliver! My husband let me decide most of the floral decisions and even he couldn’t believe how amazing everything turned out. We’d recommend a.p. bio and Doan to everyone!!!

  Doan is a floral genius!!

  Working with Doan and her team was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding! Upon meeting Doan, my husband and I were immediately put at ease by her knowledge, experience, and expertise. At the start of our planning, my husband and I didn't have a clear vision for our floral arrangements but knew we wanted an equal amount of greenery to go along with our flowers on our wedding day. Doan helped us narrow down what we did want by asking the right questions, sharing her abundance of knowledge, and being completely upfront about pricing. Doan has a certain type of calm that instantly relaxes a potential stressful situation. She navigated us through the overwhelming world of floral design, and on more than one occasion, delicately talked us off the ledge and brainstormed ideas to bring our vision to life while remaining within our budget. In the months leading up to our wedding, Doan was always just an email away for new ideas or last minute changes. Four days before our wedding, I panicked and emailed her to see if we could add some pops of color to our mostly neutral color palette. Doan was not only accommodating and supportive of the change but excited to do it! Her professionalism and attention to detail highly exceeded our expectations!   It was truly a pleasure to work with Doan and I couldn't ask for anyone better. She is amazing and a true artist!! From our first meeting to our final walk through, she was always responsive and keep us calm through this stressful wedding planning process. We were so excited to see what she designed for us and she did not disappoint. We absolutely love everything and received so many compliments on those beautiful flowers.   My favorite vendor of all at my wedding! My flowers were the most beautiful I had ever seen at a wedding (and I have been to many weddings at this point, so that's saying something). Doan is a lovely person, she's warm and incredibly friendly, but also has a beautiful sense of color and style. She helped me pick my color palette (which I loved), advised me on some style/other color questions I had, and did a totally wonderful job. She is professional, responsive, and just lovely. I couldn't recommend her more highly.

I worked with her for the whole time instead of an assistant before my wedding.   I can not say enough about Doan. Her talent is unreal!! We first met in her adorable and inspiring studio with wine and cheese to discuss our vision and budget. She came up with a few options for us so that we could pick and choose what worked best for us. We met once more closer to the wedding to finalize the details and make sure everything was on track. When I showed up at the venue, OMG. The flowers were absolutely gorgeous and my bouquet was out of this world. She nailed our vision so perfectly and everything was even more beautiful than I imagined. I am so happy we went with Doan. She was AMAZING!!!

  Doan made my floral dreams come true! I wanted unique and sculptural but lush flowers for my wedding and Doan went above and beyond to deliver. My wedding included touches of gold and Doan even folded gold spray-painted foliage into the arrangements. They were incredible. All the guests commented on how beautiful they were. When the venue had a few areas we needed to camouflage, Doan had great ideas and it ended up working perfectly. Doan was always conscious of the budget and gave me some great options in different price ranges, which I appreciated. (But trust me, just go for it!) On top of it all, Doan is super sweet and easy to work with. I wish I could get flowers from her all the time!

She is a true artist, her medium is flowers, and every single arrangement she created for the evening was pure magic. Romantic, chic, sexy, and lush — everything she had promised and more. And not for nothing :), Doan is a pure delight to work with. A great part of our wedding experience!!

  I found Doan's instagram less than 2 months before my wedding and instantly fell in love with all her posts. As a person, Doan is super friendly and happy. I'm sure you'll like her energy when you get to meet her in person. Tons of my stress regarding flowers were lifted off of my shoulder after the first meeting with her. She was very professional and responsive. When she promised me a proposal on a certain day, she really did. She was always open to hear what I want and gave great suggestions when needed. When I saw my bouquet, I was so so so happy. The venue is OMG Doan and her team really transformed it with their arrangements. Everything was so beautiful and lush. My husband and I secretly jumped up and down inside when we first saw the venue after the first look. We could not be happier. Our family still can't stop talking about the flowers at my wedding. I really wish I could bring Doan to Vietnam so she can do more flowers at my wedding in Vietnam.

  Doan Ly is the type of person you want to hang out with. She’s always so calm, cool and collected, which is such a great feeling when you’re trying to juggle life and the overwhelming task of planning your wedding. Needless to say, leaving each and every meeting with her left me in such a good mood.
  
  Heading in, I knew what flowers I liked and wanted to use for our wedding, but I had no idea just how beautiful the end result would be. MY FLOWERS WERE GORGEOUS! The way in which Doan arranges her bouquets and other arrangements is incredible. When she arrived the day of with our flowers, I literally jumped up and down and did a little happy dance because they were breathtaking. I still can’t get over just how gorgeous our flowers were.
  
  More importantly, Doan is committed to each of her clients and is there every step of the way. She didn’t just stop by and drop the flowers off, she came with a team of talented individuals who were making sure everything was meticulously placed. During the pre-wedding photo session, she was there with a spray bottle and would come around to spray each bouquet to ensure they looked their absolute best throughout the day.
  
  We decided to repurpose our bouquets after the ceremony and have them serve as centerpieces for some tables and strategically placed throughout the venue. So after the ceremony wrapped up, my new husband and I went up to a private room to regroup – sure enough there was a vase waiting for me to place my bouquet. Not long after we left to join our guests, and as we left I see Doan running around and placing each of these bouquets in vases and taking them to where she felt best fit.
  
  Weddings in NYC aren’t cheap and they’re not always easy to coordinate, but working with amazing individuals makes the process so much easier. Thanks to Doan (A.P. Bio), we were able to enjoy the planning phase and were blown away by the final product and would recommend her highly to anyone and everyone in search of a florist.

  Heading in, I knew what flowers I liked and wanted to use for our wedding, but I had no idea just how beautiful the end result would be. MY FLOWERS WERE GORGEOUS! The way in which Doan arranges her bouquets and other arrangements is incredible. When she arrived the day of with our flowers, I literally jumped up and down and did a little happy dance because they were breathtaking. I still can’t get over just how gorgeous our flowers were.
  
  More importantly, Doan is committed to each of her clients and is there every step of the way. She didn’t just stop by and drop the flowers off, she came with a team of talented individuals who were making sure everything was meticulously placed. During the pre-wedding photo session, she was there with a spray bottle and would come around to spray each bouquet to ensure they looked their absolute best throughout the day.
  
  We decided to repurpose our bouquets after the ceremony and have them serve as centerpieces for some tables and strategically placed throughout the venue. So after the ceremony wrapped up, my new husband and I went up to a private room to regroup – sure enough there was a vase waiting for me to place my bouquet. Not long after we left to join our guests, and as we left I see Doan running around and placing each of these bouquets in vases and taking them to where she felt best fit.
  
  Weddings in NYC aren’t cheap and they’re not always easy to coordinate, but working with amazing individuals makes the process so much easier. Thanks to Doan (A.P. Bio), we were able to enjoy the planning phase and were blown away by the final product and would recommend her highly to anyone and everyone in search of a florist.

  I absolutely loved the stunning flowers that Doan Ly did for our wedding. Doan and I had discussed headcount, venue layout, budget, style, color palette and what types of flowers I liked, but we really only saw the flowers for the first time when we walked into the venue on our wedding day. We were totally blown away, and our photographer kept saying that these were some of the most beautiful wedding flowers she had ever seen! Doan is lovely to work with and has a great eye. Can't recommend her highly enough!

After telling her the vibe I was going for, I let her have complete control and I am so glad I did. The flowers were hands down THE most thing I received compliments on, even during the wedding! My wedding was 4 weeks ago and I am STILL getting messages about the flowers! Completely transformed the space into a magical wonderland. You must, must hire her!
