Hope was the officiant for our wedding and was the perfect decision for us! My partner and I are of different ethnicities and different religions. We struggled finding an officiant because we wanted 1) a neutral third-party; that 2) could provide a secular service; while 3) also incorporating some cultural aspects (e.g. Jewish breaking of the glass). That is a pretty tight line to walk, but Hope was incredibly thoughtful and flexible in her approach. We felt comfortable right away and well-understood during our exchanges. Hope nailed it pretty much on her first draft, and finalizing the ceremony was one of the most seamless parts of our planning.
On the day of, Hope’s execution was amazing! We loved seeing her words come to life and she was one of the most talked about parts of our wedding. Our guests were impressed with her presence, her writing, and the atmosphere that she created to honor our relationship.
We loved working with Hope and would highly recommend her for your wedding! -

If you're looking for an officiant who will make your wedding ceremony unforgettable, look no further than Hope! From start to finish, Hope was an absolute delight to work with. She took the time to get to know us as a couple and really listened to our vision for our ceremony.
On the big day, Hope truly exceeded our expectations. She managed to strike the perfect balance between heartfelt and humorous, incorporating elements of our love story that left our guests in tears of joy. Her delivery was flawless and her words resonated deeply with everyone present.
We received countless compliments on our ceremony throughout the night, with many guests commenting that it was the most beautiful and meaningful ceremony they had ever witnessed. We couldn't agree more - thanks to Hope, our wedding ceremony was truly magical.

A meaningful ceremony was one of my top wedding priorities so having the right officiant was super important. Hope far exceeded my expectations and I couldn't recommend her more highly to couples who want a personalized ceremony that isn't just going through the motions. Hope took the time to get to know us both as individuals and as a couple, and imbued our ceremony with little tidbits that showed she'd really been listening. She wrote a beautiful ceremony that reflected our values and our priorities.
I'd also highly recommend Hope's wedding yoga packages - she did a session at my bachelorette party that was absolutely the highlight of the weekend. -

Hope was amazing to work with from the first time I met her to the ceremony. My husband and I did pre marital counseling with Hope and it truly helped us grow in our relationship. We learned things about each other we did not know and gained guidance on how to continue to make our love work forever.
In addition, Hope really captured our vibe of the ceremony. I really wanted our ceremony to be personal, lighthearted, fun and entertaining. Hope was charismatic, loving, made us feel comfortable and captured our love perfectly. Hope even showed up early and was able to calm my nerves before. She anticipated everything we needed and brought this amazing energy. I am so grateful we had her officiate us and am sad our sessions are over because I always looked forward to her amazing energy and outlook on life. Hope thank you so much for everything! We miss you already. -

OMG Hope!!
She rapped during our ceremony… Do I need to say more?! 😂 Hope is so lovely and pleasant to work with! She made me realize that wedding ceremony can be fun and I still have more to learn and share with a man I was going to marry after being together for 8 years. My husband and I had a beautiful moment when we exchanged our vows and she was there to guide us through. Even after the postponement, I am so grateful that we were able to work with her. She is THE BEST. If we ever decide to renew our vows, I know who I’m going to call! -

Hope is an amazing officiant and helped us put together the best and most ‘us’ ceremony we could have imagined.
My husband is half-Japanese, and we decided to fold paper cranes for our unity ceremony. Hope did her own research into the significance of this tradition and added relevant, heartfelt details that we didn’t think of. She also took our questionnaire responses closely into account and presented us with a wonderful surprise at the end of our ceremony - the candy we ate on our first date!
Before the wedding, she asked us to send her our vows privately and provided us (especially the groom) with much needed assistance. We received so many compliments on the ceremony and we can’t thank Hope enough for kickstarting our marriage in a way that we will remember forever. -

My now husband and I had a zoom ceremony officiated by Hope during the covid-19 quarantine in NYC. She made the process incredibly easy and stress free! She was very quick to respond to emails and flexible making sure she fit us in before the executive order allowing zoom weddings expired. I highly recommend Hope, she could not have been nicer. -

A little late in writing this review, but I cannot say enough good things about Hope! We reached out to her for a pre-marital counseling package right before our official engagement, as it didn’t feel like my fiancé and I were on the same page when it came to certain issues. Through Hope’s counseling sessions and homework (yes, there’s homework!), we were able to greatly improve our communication and develop a blueprint for how we’d like our marriage to be. It was also extremely easy to schedule appointments (we did FaceTime) and communicate with Hope in between sessions.
Six months later, we find ourselves regularly using the tools we were given by Hope on a regular basis, and plan to use them throughout our marriage.
We’re thrilled to be starting the next chapter of our lives on a great foundation, thanks to Hope. If we were getting married in the NYC area, we’d definitely ask her to be our officiant!

Hope was beyond wonderful to work with! I knew from our first conversation that we had a connection and we wanted her to be the officiant for our wedding! After speaking with her we signed up for a few pre-marital counseling sessions with her. She made us feel comfortable during these sessions and helped us to further strengthen our communication skills with each other. As for the ceremony, what we wrote was wonderful and deeply moving. We received several compliments from our guests about how touching her words were. She has such a wonderful personality you can't help but want to work with her. She helped to make our wedding the best day ever! -

Hope is the nicest, most amazing woman and we were so honored to have her officiate our wedding. We had initially wanted a friend to officiate the wedding but once we met Hope we realized she was exactly what we needed. She put together the sweetest and most personal ceremony and that struck the perfect line between funny and sentimental. We knew we wanted to have some family members do a reading during the ceremony and she was also there to help us find the perfect ones that summed up our relationship to a T. On the day, my nerves were really kicking in and she was there to help talk me down, she even had essential oils with her to help relax me. In addition, we also opted to do premarital sessions with her and it was one of the best decisions we made. We planned our wedding in Brooklyn while living in Chicago and Hope made it easy for us to do all of our premarital sessions through skype. I highly recommend those sessions to anyone getting married. My husband and I have been together for 9 years and even though we know everything you could about a person, it made us stronger and helped frame the reasons for getting married. By the end we really looked forward to our time with Hope and hated the fact that it had to end. Thanks for everything Hope! -

She was friendly, responsive and helpful, I would recommend Hope to anyone. -
