John and his florals were amazing!!! I was overwhelmed with the flower choices, and I wasn’t really sure how to describe what I wanted. During our consultation, John brought out different flowers, made makeshift bouquets and table set ups, and lent his creative eye. It was so fun, and he nailed my vision! The flowers were gorgeous the day of the wedding. We even had to make some changes a couple weeks before the wedding, and he was more than willing to do so. We visited a few other florists, and he was BY FAR the best and was the most affordable. We are so glad we used John!

An experienced florist who knows how to make your day special.
John did such an amazing job completely renovating our entire space. A week before the wedding we had to move it inside and John was ready and able to completely transform our new ceremony space.
Additionally when we did our consultation, John started brainstorming centerpieces for us too and it was incredible to see what he was able to come up with. We were blown away at both the excellent service we got but also the amazing price of everything.
I am so thankful we went with A Man and A Woman Floral Design!

John is an amazing florist! At our initial meeting with him, he cut fresh flowers so that we could actually visualize the details of the centerpieces and bouquets. A Man and a Woman Floral Designs is the best company to go with for your wedding. We had them as our florist for our wedding and they made the day so special. They listened to what we liked and ran with it. During our consultation he was able to really pull out my vision and make it come to life on the big day. He was so flexible and accommadating as well when we had issues with COVID and had to move my bridal portrait. John was always a pleasure to work with and I would recommend him to everyone!

John Murray was amazing! We went in and had a consultation not knowing exactly what we wanted and came out knowing that the flowers were going to be beautiful! He found a rose specifically for me (Faith roses, my name is Faith) just to make my bouquet special. He thinks outside of the box with these arrangements and you never really appreciate that until you see the cookie cutter bouquets of some florists. His are anything but cookie cutter. He takes great care in putting together something unique to match the couple's tastes. We did bouquets, table arrangements, rose petals, floral on the Arbor, and boutonniere's. I'm so thankful for John having been a part of my wedding!

John was super flexible with us when we had to postpone our wedding. He was always available for a call when needed and jumped through hoops to get a candle permit for our event. The florals were gorgeous and made our event! Would recommend John for any floral needs!

John was amazing beginning with our first meeting. As soon as we told him our color palette, he immediately began gathering flowers and showed us his ideas. His blending of different colors and flowers was so beautiful that we knew he was the florist for us. John was so easy to work with! I was not a bride who had a pinterest board or knew what I wanted (which can sometimes be met with frustration by wedding vendors) but John had enough experience and creativity to make up for me being clueless and man did he deliver! Our arrangements were absolutely perfect for our event and were spot on in terms of color and feel. He was also super flexible with me changing our date multiple times do to the pandemic. Our aesthetic was PERFECTLY captured
We LOVED using A Man and A Woman florists. He captured our aesthetic perfectly. My husband and I wanted simplistic elegance. From the bouquets, to boutonnieres, to Church decorations, to reception decorations, they knocked it out of the park!! We got married at Christ the King Catholic Church, and our reception was at Four Corner's Brewery. They easily and with no stress decorated both locations. It was magical walking into the reception and seeing it come to life with all the flowers. They provided flowers for Mary and for our cake. Any request we had, they did! I would 10/10 recommend using A Man and A Woman. They are lovely to work with! They also helped us keep the price within range. I loved my wedding flowers! My first consultation with John was in person and he took the time to build a vision of what I wanted. I did not know what I wanted from my floral and he asked about all of the details, like my dress, colors (I didn't have a bridal party so there was a lot of room to play), my venues. From that, he made samples of what he had in mind which helped me fully understand the look, feel, and smell of everything. Everything on the wedding day was beautiful, modern, and fresh and I loved all of our floral, especially my bouquet and the boutonnieres for my husband and my father. I will go back for anything else I need flower-wise!

Wonderful experience with A Man and A Woman Floral Design
John Murray exceeded my expectations for my daughter's wedding. He was easy to work with, very responsive and put us at ease with regards to the floral selections for the wedding.
Choosing a florist was one of the last major decisions my daughter had to make. She and I were going to meet with/talk to a handful of florists. The flowers were one area where my daughter and I were unsure of what to expect. We met with John about six months before the wedding and my daughter outlined some of her thoughts. John would then go into the workshop and come back with some wonderful examples to show us what would work with her vision. John was able to walk us through everything to consider for the ceremony and reception and patiently answer all of our questions. After our meeting, my daughter and I had pretty much decided that we would choose John to do the flowers. It was obvious that he loved his job and was very enthusiastic about it. Within a few hours of our meeting, we had a quote from John and it was very much in line with our budget. He was readily available to answer our questions, and was good about giving us the pros and/or cons about certain options. We met with him again about a month before the wedding and gave him the final table counts, tweaked some of the centerpieces, finalized the mothers and grandmothers corsages, etc.
On the day of the wedding John was awesome and everything was beautiful. The happy couple was thrilled with how well all the flowers turned out. We received many compliments from our guests with regards to the lovely flowers.
John made it all very painless for us and I highly recommend A Man and A Woman Floral.

Perfection!! John instantly knew my vision!
I could not have been more pleased with our wedding flowers! From the moment I walked in to his shop, John listened to me, looked at a few pictures and within moments was handing me a gorgeous arrangement he made just by grabbing a few things around his shop!
The bouquets and arrangements at our wedding were stunning!! By far exceeded my expectations. Do yourself a favor--you WILL NOT REGRET it!!

John is so talented in his ability to listen to what you want and what you have pictured in your head and make it a reality. Every arrangement was absolutely gorgeous and exactly what I wanted. I couldn't recommend him any more to any bride-to-be. He was such a joy to work with and made us feel completely at ease that our flowers would be beautiful and fresh and all-around perfect. John did an amazing job of helping us visualize the type of look we wanted for our wedding. We figured out a vision & he made it into a reality even more beautiful than we'd hoped! He knew that my top priority was covering the door hinges behind where our ceremony was being held with floral & even though the wooden arch I ordered elsewhere turned out a little lower than expected day-of, he came in clutch & was able to add extra floral to make sure we were covered. Everything turned out perfect & I could not recommend him more!

Beautiful flowers!!
My husband and I could not be happier with the flowers that John put together for our wedding. He was referred to us through a family friend and he did a fantastic job. When my mom and I first met with him, he gave us SO many good and creative ideas on how we can get the most out of our flower budget. We had a very tight budget but he was able to put together the most beautiful bouquets and arrangements for a VERY fair/reasonable price. The flowers he used were very fresh and colorful. I could not recommend him highly enough!! Thank you John for helping make our special day!

He was so great to work with (personable, communicates well, upbeat, dependable) and he has extensive experience in this field (so knows where and when to find the most beautiful flowers). John is very creative, and has an excellent eye for arranging in response to the style and colors that the couple is looking for... He had done our older daughter's wedding flowers 5 years ago, and we were all so happy with what he did - my younger daughter trusted him from this & wanted him to do her wedding, also. I didn’t have a clue about ‘vision’ or anything like that. At our first meeting I was honest and told him that and what my budget was, he asked me questions about the details of our wedding such as colors, my dress, what flowers I liked and what I didn’t like and then came up with a plan. He was very responsive and professional. The wedding was beautiful. His floral arrangements were gorgeous. All of the details were beautiful. He made my wedding beautiful.

John Was Great!
We chose to go with real flowers rather than all fakes offered by another vendor. It was a spectacular decision! My guests were blown away with the sheer amount of flowers, and everyone was impressed with the floral bridge over my head table. John assured me his flowers would be secure and they were! No crazy collapses or tip-overs. The best thing about working with A Man and A Woman Florals was that he was very receptive to my color combination and understood how to manage the intensity of my colors (purple, orange, gold, and blue) beautifully. He silenced all the naysayers in my family who thought the colors would clash horribly and brought my vision to life! Best of all he quickly revised contracts when asked even if it was the smallest detail. I would not hesitate to recommend him to any of my friends or family, and, in fact, several did ask who my florist was for their upcoming weddings!

JOHN IS THE BEST!! He is super talented, always kind, happy as can be, very flexible and affordable! He compassionately guided the bride-to-be, while always willing to listen to her. His flowers are fresh, super fragrant (the whole bridal suite smelled like the bouquets), and beautiful! He delivered them promptly, calmly, and with his contagious smile! Everything was coordinated and absolutely beautiful! We had so many compliments on everything from the corsages/boutonnières to the bouquets to the large and small table arrangements! He even provided a matching toss bouquet, for the Anniversary Dance, at no charge. I highly recommend using John at A Man and A Woman!!

Amazing flowers
John from A Man and A Woman Floral Design was AMAZING. We were so so happy with the flowers at our wedding. I don't know a lot about flowers and had trouble describing my vision - but he somehow managed to put together flowers that were absolutely perfect. I was in shock when I saw them - I could not have imagined flowers as beautiful as these. The flowers on the chuppah were stunning and exactly what we wanted. And the centerpieces were absolutely beautiful - we got so many compliments on them. I really could not have imagined that it would look so amazing - the flowers really made my wedding ceremony and reception beautiful! The bouquets were perfect too.
Also, John is a super nice guy - he is very friendly and easy to work with. He was one vendor that I never had to worry about calling or emailing me back. His prices are very reasonable too.
I would highly recommend John to anyone looking for flowers in the Dallas area - he is great!!

John created beautiful centerpieces, bouquets, and boutonnieres for our wedding! Our vision was simple, classic, white, ivory, and some greenery. At our first meeting, John showed us some of the flowers he thought we might like to use and they were gorgeous! When we drove to the vendor's location it wasn't what we expected at all but we met with John and told him what colors we were using in the wedding. We told him we didn't want to go too big on the arrangements/wedding bouquet, etc. He synced up with us immediately! He was able to put our vision into beautiful arranged flowers. We seemed to really hit if off! We loved everything he did for us. One snafu was that we had forgotten 1 groomsman boutonniere and told John .... he said he'd add it at no charge but on the day of the wedding it was forgotten. Other than that, the flowers were gorgeous!

I love John. He worked with me and really listened to what I wanted. The flowers were all beautiful and great quality. Everything was just how I wanted it and he even came and added some small accent Floral to my centerpeices which were some of my favorites. The best part was he even got me white Tulips at the end of September! That was such a great surprise as they are my favorite flowers. He was super responsive and able to direct me when my ideas for the wedding started to get off track. All these things are great qualities of a vendor and everyone should use them.

We saw John's work at a tasting at Ashton Gardens. We feel in love with his centerpieces so we scheduled a visit. John was very attentive to our request. He showed us a wide variety of flowers and put them together so we would have an idea how they would look. We requested a bridal bouquet for the bridal portrait before the wedding. We were very pleased with what he put together and knew that the bouquet for the wedding was going to be gorgeous. John was very quick to respond to my emails and additional last minute request for flowers for the cakes and greenery for the candelabras. The roses provided were stunning and of good quality. They smelled heavenly and had the entire reception hall smelling good. They are holding up nicely even thought it's been four days since the wedding. I would highly recommend using John for your floral needs.

John Murray is a man with a super infectious laugh and a complete and total love of what he does!! From the minute my step-daughter and I met him we knew he was the right choice for her upcoming wedding. He had fabulous ideas and made our simplistic concepts and suggestions into floral fantasy! I don't have a lot of pictures yet from the festivities, but lots of rave reviews from our guests. John communicated with me and the venues directly to make things run smoothly. He and his assistant are stealth ninjas too! They beat me to the chapel and were in and out so fast and efficiently that we had absolutely nothing to worry about. High praise and recommendations!!

Our wedding planner, Lisa Dean, of Divine Wedding Details recommend John to us. He did an incredible job with our flowers for our rehearsal dinner and our wedding reception! I didn't know much about flowers leading up to my meetings with John, but I definitely knew what looks and colors I did and did not like. John was able to take my likes and dislikes and created incredible floral designs. Our reception was very classic and elegant and John made everything look good. I loved my bridal bouquet too! I loved my flowers, just bummed I can't keep the table arrangement forever! I went to my meeting knowing I didn't want white, only bright fun colors, no traditional ball centerpieces and they have to coordinate with the LED glass flowers that will be at every other table. The room looked magical! I know nothing about flowers and he was able to create what was in my head. I wish I had been a bit more specific on my bridal bouquet, it had a little more pastel than I like, but it turned our great in pictures and coordinated wonderfully with the magenta flowers my bridesmaids carried.

Before wedding planning, I really didn't know (and still don't know) much about flowers. So, when I met John from this florist shop, I gave him very vague details of what I wanted for the tables at the reception. I told him all white/cream flowers, mercury vases, every table different, and low setting pieces so people could see each other across the table. In my head, it look very pretty but I had NO clue just how stunning and beautiful John would actually make them!! WOW is all I can say. He was so fun to work with and he knows EXACTLY what he is doing. I was very impressed and I highly recommend working with John for your event. Also, he was very good about making sure we made the best use of all the flowers. For example, we used the bridesmaids bouquets for decoration on the royal table at the ceremony. Definitely saved us some money and I would have NEVER thought of that!

John and A Man and A Woman Floral Design are absolutely outstanding! John is truly a floral expert! With planning our wedding over five hours away from our venue site, we had a difficult time with meeting vendors on non-weekend days. This did not stop John with exceeding our expectations though. He and I communicated about my ideas and visions through email. And on the day of my wedding, John delivered the most beautiful flowers I have ever seen. He definitely exceeded all of my expectations! I would highly recommend John for any of your floral needs!

Wow! John Murray knows what he is doing!!! Our flowers turned out better than we could have hoped. John took our vision and provided exactly what we wanted! From the centerpieces to the bouquets, everything was beyond perfect. And the cost was affordable when compared with other florist. He was willing to meet with us a few times to go over details and provide he own ideas for flowers. Highly recommend A Man and A Woman Florist for your floral needs!

When I met with John all I said was pink and pretty! I let him know the VERY FEW ideas I was thinking and he made my dream flowers come true! They were absolutely beautiful and John was so much fun to work with! He used the most amazing shades and everything was perfect for my day. It was everything a girl could ask for AND all for a reasonable price. I can't express how important it is to work with the best and by hiring John that is what you will be doing.

John at a Man and a Woman Floral is so wonderful to work with. He knows what he is doing - just listen to him. He will make your vision come true. He is the only florist we went to. Once visiting with him, we knew we didn't need to go any further. He will look at pictures of your dress and venue, listen to your vision, then go grab flowers from the cooler and show you exactly what he plans to do. My daughter was married this past weekend after being engaged for over a year. We first met with John from A Man & a Woman Floral Design shortly after she was engaged and after careful research on the internet. Because she was getting married in Texas and is from California where we live, we had a 1 week visit to Texas to make a lot of decisions. We decided to meet with John first regarding floral design.
This might not fit the best advice, but we never met with another florist and decided to go with John during our first meeting!
Laurel is eclectic and bohemian, but wanted an elegant wedding that was still 'her'. Her stipulations - every bouquet and centerpiece should include a purple/blue hydrangea, nothing should be a round ball, she wanted every piece to be a little different, and she wanted elements of surprise from her color palette. John immediately started showing her different flowers and other foliage that hit the mark. He just seemed to 'get her'.
Also, the order was big, but John worked with us to stay close to our original budget.
The results were GEORGEOUS!
I would recommend John and A Man and A Woman Floral Design to anyone in the Dallas/Fort Worth area.

John was simply awesome to work with!
My daughter and I did not know a lot about flowers when we made our first appointment with John last year - she only knew that she wanted peonies for her bouquet. Dreams really can come true! John found her georgeous white peonies in late in the year for her July 25th wedding.......he was the only florist we talked to who did just tell us that peonies will be out of season you need a substitute. He did have another georgeous flower lined up just in case he couldn't secure her peonies that had the same shape and texture and "fluffy" appearance, but he found us beautiful blooms just like she and envisioned.
He was extremely helpful with the bridesmaid bouquets as well, pulling several samples out of his cooler during our visits and showing us pictures of other so my daughter could get a good feel for the shape and color of each flower. .....and when she decided to incorporate additional colors into the bridesmaid bouquets just a few weeks before the wedding, John was more than happy to meet with us again and recommended flowers to bring in the additional colors.
His execution was flawless and all of the flowers were simply breathtaking.

Working with John was easy and he captured our vision. I could not have imagined more beautiful flowers--from the pew arrangements to the centerpieces to the bouquets. Everything was coordinated and beautiful. Added to that, is that John is a fun person to work with. He is true genius.

I just hired John for my July 18th wedding! Probably one of the most exciting and fun parts of the wedding because of John's loving, understanding, flexible, and fun personality! He literally made my bouquet on the spot and said "it would be much better than this" but the sample was already gorgeous!! Price is super reasonable and worth every penny. I love John and all the work I've seen by him so far. HIRE HIM!! You won't be disappointed. If you don't you'll regret it! I will update my post after the wedding, but he is amazing.

Worth every penny, and there weren't man spent!!!! BEST VALUE AND FLOWERS I have ever seen at a wedding. John, was an absolutely amazing person to work with! Everything came out just as we planned.....no BETTER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I would use them again and again for ANY event we have! John was the second florist that we met with. I wasn't sure exactly what I wanted but I knew that I wanted large center pieces because I was worried that the tables for the reception wouldn't look full enough. John had the best personality and kept reminding me that he knew what he was doing and that my flowers would look great. My sister and my mom fell in love with him right away, and I did by the end of the appointment because the flowers he was putting together were gorgeous. He sent us a proposal and it was a little over my budget, I emailed him back and asked if there was anyway we could get it within my budget and without a pause he said no problem and sent me a revised proposal that was perfect. My mom and him kept in contact throughout the planning process and he was great at reassuring her as well. The day of the wedding he showed up with the flowers and I was speechless, they were more beautiful than I could ever imagine and my bouquet was gorgeous. I had people telling me after, that even though they usually didn't pay attention to flowers, that ours were amazing. When we got to the reception I was still nervous but when I opened the doors to the ballroom I was blown away with his center pieces. He took the little vision that I had and made it absolutely incredible, he even gave us a few smaller arrangement for the cocktail hour that I didn't even think of. The flowers lasted for almost a week after the wedding, still looking gorgeous and I keep looking at my pictures just to look at my bouquet. John was amazing to work with and really made our special day even more special with his incredible eye and talent. I highly recommend John! All of my flowers were absolutely gorgeous and he was so calming with both my mom and I. The flowers couldn't have turned out prettier.

John was amazing and by far my favorite vendor out of the entire wedding! He listened to what my ideas were and shared some of his creativeness as well. He was fun, upbeat, and on time. He was willing to help with everything even if it had nothing to do with flowers. I am a visual person and he took the time to create a bouquet for me in his shop to show the diffrent textures and options I could do to get the look i wanted to achieve. I felt he was part of the family by the end of it and should of stayed for the wedding.

I hired John for my 12/30/14 wedding - excellent decision!! This guy is an artist and has the ability to give you what you didn't even know you wanted! I have been working with John and if you don't hire him for talent, you will hire him for his personality. I went into my appointment having very little knowledge or particularities about what I wanted. He took the lead and pretty much read my mind. His quote was reasonable and he responds very promptly to my emails - which I've learned is a very important quality for vendors when you're planning a wedding. I look forward to see his work at our wedding.

The flowers were undoubtedly one of the biggest highlights of my wedding! Everyone gushed over them, and comments were made about them well into the following weeks. They were absolutely perfect!
When I first went to see John, I had no idea what I wanted. I only knew I wanted fall colors. His creativity flowed out of him and in mere minutes he had us drooling over arrangements that he was making up off of the top of his head. I've never seen such exquisite arrangements.
If his talent for floral design weren't enough, he was absolutely a JOY to work with. His personality and professionalism was something I will not soon forget. I wish I could have another wedding just so I could work with him again. I honestly cannot say enough good things about this man and his incredible gift! I wholeheartedly recommend him!

My flowers could not have been MORE beautiful!!
This florist is truly something special - my flowers were fresh and beautiful and bright and so perfectly arranged. From my cascading bouquet, to my bridesmaids' bouquets, to the boutonnieres. Just stunning. And my centerpieces?? Pure perfection. I couldn't have imagined them any more beautiful.
John sat with me for about an hour when we first met and went through every detail of what I wanted. Colors and shapes and ribbons and flowers - he has so many ideas, even if you already know what you want - he will make it more than you dreamed. He is so personable and easy to talk to. And when he is talking to you, his full attention is there for you.
John, you did an absolutely wonderful job for my wedding and I could not have been happier with the flowers and service you provided. Just. Spectacular.
