Kelly was our florist for a wedding this past weekend in Truckee. She was extremely responsive throughout the entire process and was completely flexible in our vision, needs and wants. She gave us ample time to meet with her to make sure we were satisfied with where we ended up and the Florals for the day turned out better than we could've ever imagined! Kelly is awesome and really knows what she's doing. She truly made our vision come to life from the ceremony pieces to the centerpiece pieces and everything in between. I would recommend her to anyone who is looking for a florist for their wedding! -

Amazing work!!
I have used Kelly for many events, starting with my own wedding. She is so great at what she does and very attentive to a brides wants while also fitting it into their budget. I would recommend her 10 times over! -

I can't say enough good things about my experience working with Kelly for our wedding florals. From just a few photos and conversations she was able to completely blow us away with the final deliverables. Seriously, I cried when I saw my bouquet. Every inch of our venue was enhanced with Kelly's florals and skill and I can't believe how affordable her services were. Our guests were raving all night and the next day. Thank you so much, Kelly! A Floral Affair put together the MOST beautiful flower arrangements for our wedding celebration at Valhalla. We told Kelly that we wanted in-season florals that were red/pink/orange-y but otherwise left the details up to her! It was such a fun surprise to walk into the venue to see everything AFA had put together. It was even better than anything we could have imagined!! I also appreciated that Kelly didn’t have exorbitant minimum prices and was willing to work within our budget. We would choose A Floral Affair again in a heartbeat. Thank you! -

We hired A Floral Affair for our wedding this June because Kelly is able to take your vision and turn it into a reality without completely blowing your budget. A lot of floral companies that I looked into have a minimum amount you have to hit before they will take your job, but Kelly was able to work within my budget and provide extremely gorgeous florals for our Lake Tahoe wedding. I got so many complements on the floral arrangements and I could not be more grateful to Kelly for all of her hard work. She is truly an artist and I couldn't recommend her more! -

We were recommended A Floral Affair by our venue and from viewing her work absolutely loved what we saw. We gave Kelly Jo our vision and she killed it! From the moment I walked into the venue she was finishing up and I was speechless, it was even more beautiful than I envisioned. Kelly Jo truly has a keen eye and knows what she is doing. Wouldn't have it any other way and I am so grateful that Kelly Jo was our florist for our wedding day because it turned out even more beautiful than I imagined. Plus she does preservations and can't wait to get my flowers back once she's done. She did my friends preservation and they turned out so gorgeous! Best florist! -

Incredible florist
Kelly and all of her design creations were the flowers of my dreams. She builds everything based on your budget so you only have to pay for what you’re comfortable with. All I did was go over our style preferences and what we needed and everything she created absolutely blew me away. -

I just want to give a HUGE shoutout to you and your team that out in the hard work to make our ceremony and reception BEAUTIFUL!
Everything was PERFECT and we couldn’t have been happier with the turn out of our wedding decor and floral arrangements!
I also want to THANK you and your team for sticking it through during the crazy winter snow storm day of wedding, and making sure everything was on point!
I know I had wanted a fall wedding and we were all so excited for that, but the man above had other planes and I LOVED our winter snowglobe of a wedding! I literally felt like I was in a hallmark movie, it was stunning!
I know it wasn’t easy and the weather made things a little difficult, so we appreciate everything A Floral Affair did to make our day special and beautiful.

Kelly Jo is easy to work with, down to earth, responsive, and talented! She did all the florals for our wedding and was willing to work within our budget to come up with something that was beautiful and within our price point. If you are looking for a Florist! Stop looking because Kelly Joe is the one! We gave her a budget and she exceeded our expectation. My bouquet looked better than every bouquet I pinned on my Pinterest. I am so blessed and happy she was able to be the florist for my wedding. She picked the freshest flowers the strongest greenest herbs which made the venue smell amazing and look elegant. She is amazing and you should book her before your day is gone. -

Our florals we absolutely STUNNING for our small November 2020 wedding in the mountains. Moody, natural, organic-y, mix of real and dried fall tones is what I asked for, and she definitely delivered! Kelly Jo was thorough from start to finish, super organized, and had all the details just right! Not to mention, her pricing can't be beat. We got so so many compliments on the flowers from our guests. I only wish I could have kept them around all year long. Dried some for keepsakes and I love looking at them to remind us of our special day. Would 100% recommend to any bride and groom. Thank you, Kelly Jo! -

Micro Wedding
Kelly Jo was incredible to work with. She took a few pictures that I shared + flowers that I am fond of and created the most beautiful bouquet for me, boutonniere for my groom, and wrist corsages for the special ladies in my life! Since we did a micro wedding, she even met us to hand off the flowers.

Kelly Jo was absolutely wonderful to work with and we LOVED our florals at our wedding last summer in Tahoe. She was one of very few vendors I spoke with that was respectful of our budget. She helped out a lot during our wedding transitioning flowers from ceremony to reception. She also personalized my husband's boutonniere with pheasant feathers we sent her and it came out awesome. Kelly Jo is a dream. She executed my vision better than I could have believed possible. We mainly communicated via email and one phone call early on. But she completely brought my vision to life and ensured that all the details were prominently executed. Our flowers were so beautiful!
She respected the budget I gave her and worked within those boundaries - so great. I had a few changes along the way leading up to the wedding and she was always very accommodating. I recommend her without hesitation. -

I hired A Floral Affair for my 8/24/19 wedding at Squaw Valley Resort in Tahoe. I was immediately impressed with my first consultation, when she had already thought through my Pinterest mood board and had some awesome ideas. She was able to do my requested log and flower alter arrangement - which I loved! The flowers were all delivered on time and I loved the final product (we didn't do any mock-ups). I barely even noticed when the florist team moved my alter indoors to be re-purposed for the reception - they appeared to magically move! Thank you so much to A Floral Affair for delivering gorgeous floral arrangements, candles and greenery for my wedding and for being what I found to be a fair price! -

Victoria Sent on 09/25/2018Kelly Jo Smith did an incredible job at our wedding. I had a smaller-sized budget and she exceeded all expectations. My vision stayed consistent, but some details changed over time and she completely accommodated. Kelly Jo's team assisted everyone in prepping for photos (helping the guys and grannies get their flowers on), and were so calm and collected. We chose to go with a mix of silk and real flowers, and I was so impressed with how everything turned out. I cannot thank Kelly Jo and her team enough. Highly, highly recommend! (More photos to come)

She handled all of the flowers, (which were so beautiful!), centerpieces and we also rented our chuppah from her. The centerpieces turned out more perfect than I could have imagined and she even set up our chuppah cover for us and did an amazing job! She caters to you and can work with any size budget. I'm so glad we used her for our florist for our Lake Tahoe wedding! -

The flowers were goregous and lasted throughout the event and even longer. I loved the variety of colors, especially the blue dyed roses which were a hit. She got me very large single calla lilies for my centerpieces and they were beyond my expectations. They so so large, they took over the entire 12 inch vase they were submerged in and were very elegant. I have recommended her to other friends getting married already. She is super flexible and knows what she is doing. -

I only ever saw Kelly Jo for a minute on my wedding day when she delivered the bouquets and boutonnieres, but even with only talking on email and phone prior to the wedding she really nailed the floral design. The quote she give me was very thorough and clearly laid out exactly what I would get on my wedding day. The arch design she did was stunning and I got a lot more for my money with her then another place I had got a quote from. She really helped make my fall colors with sunflower vision come to life. -
