I’m going to be candid: A Florae was not our first choice. We had taken our proposal to another florist who ultimately denied us due to the large scale install. My planner (Root + Gather) had suggested Rachel as an alternative and my god am I happy she did. Rachel saw our proposal and A) was just as excited as we were and B) hit the ground running all while preparing to give birth to her first child; rockstar. Her communication was top notch throughout the planning process. She even accommodated a last minute floral mock up for us. And when I say she knocked the day of install out of the park, I mean it. Just look at the pictures. I truly cannot recommend Rachel enough. Her work ethic, communication, and warm demeanor is just what every bride needs -

Our flowers were one of the most important things to me for our wedding day. We were on a tight budget and Rachel worked with us to get within our budget and still create the vision we had. Our flowers smelled SO amazing I wanted to keep all of our centerpieces! They were absolutely stunning and Rachel knocked it out of the park. I highly recommend working with A Florae. -

Hire A Florae!!
Rachel and her team at A Florae are absolutely incredible! I could not be happier with hiring them for our September 2021 wedding. I gave Rachel very little direction, just told her a few colors to incorporate, and she delivered stunning arrangements that I was blown away by! Not only were her flowers fabulous, but Rachel was a fantastic vendor to work with. She has excellent communication, is organized and flexible, and had very reasonable prices compared to other florists. Hire Rachel and her A Florae team for your wedding!! -

Rachel and her staff created the beautiful arrangements for both my 2021 wedding and 2020 COVID elopement, and both were out of this world!! She went above and beyond every request I made from aisle petals to flower crowns, centerpieces and bouquets. Her creativity is unmatched and I couldn't recommend her enough! -

Rachel is truly gifted at what she does!! From the moment we made our first inquiry to our wedding day with crazy weather (rain and 60 mph winds, gotta love the mountains!), she was incredibly helpful and professional. Having not spent a lot of time on wedding planning before engagement, I had no idea what I wanted the vision of our wedding to be or which flowers I wanted. She patiently and graciously helped me decide what I wanted for our wedding and absolutely helped my vision come alive. The arch sprays, bouquets, boutonnieres, and center pieces were stunning and actually able to withstand the extreme weather conditions! Look no further - she's your gal :) -

Rachel and A florae provided our wedding florals through the Colorado Elopement Giveaway. She took the ball and ran realllllll far with it. We have never seen anything so beautiful. Every single guest was blown away and would not stop talking about how beautiful they were. She came all the way down to personally deliver and arrange the flowers. She was an absolute light and one of our new favorite people. -

I can’t say enough good things about Rachel. She is so so talented. Because of COVID-19 we changed from a wedding to an elopement, but she still made the best use out of our flowers. Everything was even better than I could have imagined! Everything held up beautifully all day long. Not to mention her personality was an absolute ball of sunshine, and she was so personable. A Florae was amazing to work with as my husband and I were in a very last minute search to find an arch rental and spray due to COVID wedding changes. Rachel was flexible, positive and willing to work with any requests we had. The arch rental was exactly what she wanted and the floral spray that she put together was gorgeous! -

Mackenzie from Aflorae did my ceremony flowers for me and they were beyond perfect! I planned my wedding from Kansas City so all of my vendor searching was online and through instagram. I came across Aflorae's instagram and the flowers were absolutely stunning, I knew they were the florist I wanted to do my wedding flowers. I talked with Rachel who was super easy going and discussed my vision and we went back and forth a couple times to get everything just how I wanted on my floral proposal. The day of the wedding came and Mackenzie delivered all of our flowers and set up our ceremony flowers, she was awesome and even stuck around to make sure everything was going well and the flowers were doing well in the heat! Thank you Mackenzie for creating such beautiful florals!! -

Rachel with A. Florae is incredible!! I know nothing about flowers, and when I first met with her to discuss our wedding I gave her a lackluster description of what I envisioned, and changed my mind more than once! She was patient, kind, informative and provided us with the MOST GORGEOUS floral arrangements. I loved her use of bay leaves and eucalyptus - they added a whimsical, woodland feel. Our flowers were vibrant, fresh, and lasted for several days past our event.
Our centerpieces were beautiful wreaths of greenery and flowers that she made to surround our candle lanterns. They were simply gorgeous. She also provided flowers for our cake - BEAUTIFUL!
She genuinely made me more interested in learning about flowers. You can see her passion and excitement for what she does. Her arrangements are so much more personal than what I have found with other florist. I would highly recommend her for any of your florist needs!!

I had the pleasure of working with Mackenzie. She was great and willing to work with me on where my budget was. Our boquets turned out beautiful. She was flexible with pick up time. I went outside the norm and did a pomander for my 2 year old flower girl. The string was too long for her and the flowers did fall out of the foam block. If you're doing a ceremony where you can't have flowers dropped, I recommend a smaller boquet for her rather than a pomander. -

We loved working with Rachel! She was friendly, easy-going, responsive, and really made our vision come to life. Just by speaking to her once with our ideas, her proposal came back within our budget and exactly what we wanted (exceeded it really). She's such a creative genius and can take your ideas into action so effortlessly. Her style is really beautiful, lots of texture, with interesting flowers, and she was the only florist who got me peonies (out of season) - everyone else said no! I loved working with Rachel and hope to keep working with her for other events we do throughout life. I highly, highly recommend her. Her work is amazing! -

Brittni Sent on 09/01/2015Rachel has been fantastic while planning for upcoming October wedding. We had no idea what we wanted for flowers aside from a few photos we liked from Pinterest. Rachel listened to what we liked and didn't like and immediately started making recommendations. We felt like she 'got' us and we felt so comfortable with her. I can't wait to see what she comes up with for our wedding!!
Update: (Apparently I previously reviewed as Private. Oops- It was me! :P) We got married on 10-18-15 and our flowers were absolutely amazing! They were even better than I imagined and we got so many compliments on them. Rachel was professional and so sweet and I would absolutely recommend her again and again to anyone looking for a florist! -

Rachel with A Florae was responsive and thoughtful throughout the process. She met with us to discuss our taste, wedding theme, and requests (including shotgun shells on the boutonnieres). She put together various options for us based on these requests - complete with photos and pricing. Throughout the process she was responsive to emails and produced BEAUTIFUL flowers for our bouquets, boutonnieres, and table arrangements. We would highly recommend A Florae for all of your floral needs. -

The cake flowers didn't quite match the inspiration picture I provided, but not sure if this was due to florist or bakery. Nonetheless, the flowers were perfect for my color scheme and photographed wonderfully. Would definitely book again. -

I chose Rachel for my destination wedding in Estes Park because she does beautiful work, and had a 5 star rating. Being a Pinterest junkie with several months to plan who knew exactly what she wanted, I provided a detailed Powerpoint for her which included countless examples of bouquets/arrangements that were all the same style, provided a color palette, and let her know what my two favorite flowers were since I wanted them prominently featured. I even included pictures/names of 37 other types of flowers/filler that I would be happy to see, because I know product availability changes. The proposal/work order I signed off on matched my vision, and even included sample pictures provided by Rachel, so I was 100% confident that I would be receiving my dream flowers.
Fast forward to the morning of my wedding. I received an email from Rachel saying that an assistant would be delivering the flowers due to something coming up, which I had zero problem with. When I arrived at The Music Room of the Stanley Hotel to meet her assistant, my stomach dropped. The extra cake flowers Rachel said she would be providing the day before, turned into "I didn't know you wanted cake flowers". My dramatic high/low mantle arrangement made of branches/flowers/greenery garland, was a thin "furry" fern garland and vase of silk leaves that covered about 10% of the massive mantle. My memory table full of pictures of my deceased loved ones had a small floral arrangement on it instead of the branches I requested which meant it could not even be seen behind the frames. The larger table arrangements I requested for my 6 foot round tables, ended up being a smaller less expensive size that looked way too small. Lastly, and most importantly my bohemian bouquet that was supposed to feature ranunculus, anemones (my two favorites), foliage, and lots of other filler ended up being a rose and carnation bouquet. Being that I specifically said that I didn't want to see any of the standard flowers that you would find in a grocery store/gas station, I was very confused as to how baby pink carnations made their way into my bouquet.
When my fiance and I emailed Rachel to ask why the proposal I signed off on didn't match the product we received, we received no apology or explanation but instead were told not to contact her again or she would sue us for harassment. Because of this total lack of professionalism, I feel compelled to share my experience with other brides. There are lots of talented florists out there, but it's imperative to find one that acts in a professional manner, and abides by the work order their clients sign off on. -
