Decor was stunning and food was delicious!!

This company worked directly with my venue, Flint Hill, so planning went very smooth. They did my florals, decor, and catering. I worked with Emily Fleming at the Deign Studio, and she made all of my ideas come true. I'm not the most creative, but I had a rough idea for what I imagined, and she suggested the most amazing decor pieces and florals that went perfect with the theme I wanted. As for the catering side, there was a large variety of dishes to choose from; it was so hard making a decision. It was phenomenally delicious, and the guests continuously said how good the food was throughout the night. I ate my entire plate - which as the bride, I did not think I would be up for eating too much. Loved working with them throughout the planning process!

Simply stress free

A divine event works hand in hand with the venue we chose as apart of Magic Moments. My wedding guests stated “it was the best wedding food they have ever had”. I was very pleased with the flavor and portions!

Best Wedding Food I Have Ever Had

Let me just start by saying the amount of compliments I got from my guests on the food I served at my wedding was unbelievable. There was not one part of the meal that people disliked. We served a southern buffet (fried chicken, pulled pork, corn bread, coleslaw, asparagus and mac and cheese). All of which was mind blowing. If you want someone that is both reasonably priced as well as delicious and over the top professional - please go with A Divine Event!

Delish Food!!

The food was just perfect for our wedding! We had prime rib, Parmesan Chicken, Mac and cheese, roasted potatoes, shrimp and grits! Everyone loved it!

Absolutely wonderful!

My wife and I highly recommend Magic Moments, Flint Hill, and A Divine Event! We had to change venues 6 months before our wedding date, and Flint Hill was there for us 110% from day one! Their process, staff, vendor teams, support teams, and the venue itself are all outstanding. My wife and I are very thorough, and Flint Hill didn't miss a single detail throughout the planning process and our Wedding Day. We are so grateful for working with Katie during the planning process - she was unbelievably helpful and very responsive. The Divine Event Floral and Design Team went above and beyond as well! Jim was an absolute dream to work with, and he helped us achieve the ambiance, design, florals, and decor of our dream wedding!! He is AMAZING!! The food from A Divine Event was delicious, and many of our guests said that it was literally the best wedding food they had ever had - we agree! The cake was gorgeous, and the yummiest wedding cake I've ever tasted - every single flavor combination we chose was utterly delicious. We also opted for the ice cream bar, and it was so much fun!! Lastly, I want to mention how professional and experienced Brenda and her team are. Brenda made sure that everything went smoothly, and I can't thank her enough for bringing her A-game to our most special day. Our families and friends are still talking about how beautiful, delicious, smooth, and fun our wedding was. Our wedding day is cherished in our hearts and minds forever, and we can't thank Flint Hill and A Divine Event enough!!

Incredible food that guests still talk about

A Divine Event had absolutely incredible food at my wedding. It seems to be one of the most memorable parts of the wedding for many of my guests (to the point that people were posting pics of the food on their instagram). They were quick to cater to my needs and accommodate any requests. Some of the special highlights was the parmagiano risotto that was served in a giant wheel of cheese, coffee braised short rib, fried Mac n cheese bites, late night grilled cheeses, and the strawberry shortcake parfaits. Thank you so much for such incredible service and food!

Absolutely perfect!

The food was so beautiful and absolutely delicious! Even our guests were talking about it! Jim Summe was my florist and he did the most beautiful spread I have ever seen! He was so wonderful to work with and helped me pick the flowers for the whole wedding so easily! Thank you A Divine Event for making it just that, a divine event!

Incredible from start to finish!

A Divine Event catering went above and beyond from the beginning and delivered amazing quality food and service for our wedding. Laura is especially wonderful; always helpful, flexible, and receptive, I could not have planned our wedding without her! The food was as great at our event as it was at the tasting, the servers were attentive to us and our guests, and the non-floral decor they brought looked stunning. They offer so much more than just catering, would recommend to anyone getting married in Atlanta!

We were so impressed with the A Divine Event team for making our vision come to life - especially since our vision was mostly half-baked through the year of planning, but Heather and Jenny (and the rest of the team) totally took our input and ran with it, and the day could not have been more perfect. Family and friends have not stopped talking about the venue, the flowers, the food, etc. etc. I had people writing paragraphs about the food on social media because it was THAT GOOD.

The wedding day ran absolutely seamlessly and the wedding coordinators Courtney and Mae were fantastic. My wedding started on time, exactly at 5 PM (which I think is basically unheard of in the wedding world) and the ceremony was perfect. Our guests drank through most of the alcohol by the end of cocktail hour, but Heather's team seamlessly handled that situation as well.

I cannot recommend this team more. They were so easy to work with (even when I became "that bride" and changed my mind on flowers and a few other details a couple months out!). They are so flexible, accommodating, transparent, and always willing to give an opinion or be a sounding board. We could not have had a better experience.

A Divine Event was AMAZING! They had fantastic food options and gave us the flexibility to make our own menu that fit our style perfectly. We enjoyed the to go box of food that was sent home with us as well! We got so many compliments during the reception on the food as well!

Angela at ADE was so prompt with responding to our initial email. It was definitely one of the reasons we decided to choose ADE. In fact, all of our communication was met with quick responses. We really wanted a sit down plated dinner and Angela and the chef worked with us to change a few of the items to meet our wants. Also, since we were planning from England, they allowed my parents to have a tasting which really sealed the deal with the whole process. Chris from the event team was great with figuring out how to work almost 40 people into our venue for a seated dinner. Even going to the venue on a Sunday to take measurements just to make sure. All the little details that I had envisaged were just perfect. The staff on the day were great. They were there when they needed to be but I never felt their presence, if that makes sense! Also, they cleaned up and were gone in what felt like a flash which was very impressive considering all the stuff they had to bring...including a mobile kitchen where they cooked all of the food! I honestly had about 3 bites of food that night but only because we were busy doing other things. ALL of the guests I spoke with though loved the food and cleared their plates! Definitely worth the money for a one-stop-shop basically for our wedding. I highly recommend A Divine Event.

We were thoroughly impressed with our experience with A Divine Event! From the initial private tasting and menu selection meeting, to final venue walk through, to the actual reception, each encounter was professional and delightful. The food was delicious and ADE worked graciously within our budget. While guests enjoyed a cocktail hour complete with passed hors d'oeuvres, my husband and I were treated to a private seated dinner with tastes of each selected entree. It was a highlight of the night and we enjoyed our personal waiter. Our 215 person station style reception was a complete hit from dinner to dessert thanks to A Divine Event!

I loved working with A Divine Event & their staff to develop my menu for my Sunday brunch wedding. It was absolutely stellar - their staff helped us to come up with a fun & AMAZING selection of apps & items to serve while staying within our budget. I am an avid iced coffee drinker - and they helped me to have a special hot & iced coffee bar where guests could make their dream coffee drinks with all sorts of toppings & creamers - it was a super touch! The staff were phenomenal including our own VIP waitress who made sure my husband and I each had a drink in our hands and were fed throughout our day! It was wonderful! Highly suggest this caterer for your big day!

Our wedding was fantastic! I had been worried about rain leading up to the wedding and 45 minutes before it stormed. Instead of allowing me to completely melt down, our day-of-coordinator Daria had everything moved and it was even more beautiful inside! The food was beyond expectations. We had guests asking if they operate a restaurant. FYI: The chorizo spring rolls were heavenly.

A Divine Event – catering – Elyse
Elyse and A Divine Event were perfect for our wedding. She was adaptable and managed to get us
exactly what we wanted for our catering. We have received nothing but rave reviews from our guests
about the food at the wedding, and the fact that it was so easy to get everything set up made it even
better. The serving staff at the event was incredibly accommodating and always had everything prepared
perfectly. We were so happy with every aspect of their service.

A Divine Event Design Studio - Jenny
Jenny was in every way helpful and delivered serviced above and beyond the call of duty. She was
always quick to respond and was supportive and thoughtful through planning difficult parts of our wedding
ceremony, such as a piece honoring my father who passed away. She met me outside of traditional work
hours, adapted to all of our design ideas, and always had our best interests in mind. She’s dedicated and
obviously enjoys her job and delivered an amazing product on the wedding day. Our venue was
absolutely beautiful.

Since our wedding, all I keep hearing from our guests is that the food was the best they had ever had at a reception! Yes, the food is a little on the pricey side, but they worked with our budget, accommodated virtually every allergy known to man, and gave great advice. I would definitely recommend them!!

The place was worth the money we spent. Diane and Laura are the sweetiest! We had a Saturday morning brunch-style buffet breakfast and the best part was the omelette station! That was my favorite!

I worked with Divine for my March 12th wedding at the Atlanta Biltmore.

Honestly, Divine is perfect.
They seriously go above and beyond to make sure that your wedding is just what you had envisioned.
I worked with Diane Park and she is the most thorough and responsive person I worked with throughout my wedding planning process. I started planning my wedding right in the middle of the holiday season, so talking to caterers was very frustrating. They basically told me that they will not be doing any tastings or any consults till after the holiday season. Diane and Divine do not operate like that and will answer all and any questions you have promptly, despite being bombarded with holiday parties.
I had a very specific menu in mind for my wedding and Diane really went out of her way to make sure everything was perfect for the day of. We probably went through at least 5 menu changes and Diane really took everything in stride and was so patient throughout the whole process!
Also, the food is beyond amazing. They are not your typical wedding caterer. The food they serve is restaurant quality food. My guests are still talking about how wonderful the food was!
Their waitstaff is also amazing. Divine provides the bride and groom with their own personal server who basically caterers to your every need, which you will most definitely need. (Nobody tells you how heavy wedding dresses are!)
All in all, I cannot say enough good things about Divine.

We got married last Saturday (11/7/15) and people are still raving the food at our wedding! We had a southern style menu and it was amazing. No lie, we had several people say that the mac n cheese and pulled pork was the best they've ever had. If I could go and buy a dinner from them I would.

People always say that you don't get to eat at your wedding, however ADE made sure we had amble opportunity to eat! They had a VIP server assigned to us that made sure our drinks were full and food was on our plates constantly. I worked with Deb & Susana and they were both so wonderful to work with - Deb went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly! It was pricey, but if you're looking to have delicious food that doesn't scream wedding food, then you need to book them!!

Our wedding was at a private home in Country Club of the South, so not only was great food a priority, but the ability for a caterer to set up for a ceremony inside, serve a cocktail hour outside while the ceremony location was flipped to dinner reception seating inside. The entire staff was professional, great to work with and the food was outstanding. All of the guests commented on the food stations, the choices and the overall level of service from the staff. Considering it takes a village to have a wedding in a private home, they made us feel very comfortable in the fact that they could do the job and do it right! I would highly recommend A Divine Event for those still deciding. Thanks to the team - they made our wedding magical.

The food was delicious! Try the champagne cake with raspberry filling. We're normally chocolate people, but that cake was amazing!
Harry is amazing to work with. He was so enthusiastic about our themed wedding despite having a relatively small budget.

My daughter and now son-in-law chose Cloverleaf Farm as the venue for their October 2015 wedding. The entire journey, from beginning to end, was absolutely a pleasure. There are always stresses with planning a wedding, but A Divine Event was not part of that. Jill Cunningham, our event planner, made all of us feel so at ease. She was so personable and knows what she's doing, but not the least bit pushy. The best part was her sense of humor. I really had a friend to stand by all along the way. Donna, our wedding director, was also a pleasure to work with.

The compliments on Natalie and D.A.'s wedding haven't stopped coming. Cloverleaf Farm is the most spectacular and appropriate we saw in searching for a venue. It was so nice having a "one-stop-shop" for the catering. They also allowed us bring our own alcohol, but provided the bartenders. There were no surprises. Everyone had a wonderful time, and both sides of the family were thrilled. Thank you for such a wonderful experience!

I can't say enough good things about A Divine Event! Diane, the representative that we worked with throughout our planning process, set up an awesome tasting for us, and she worked with us throughout the planning process to make sure that A.D.E. would have everything covered on our wedding day. She was always quick to respond to my questions, and we came up with an awesome menu for our wedding reception. Everyone loved how fresh and delicious the food was, and the decor that they provided was gorgeous! Plus, the to-go bag that they provided for us after the reception was much appreciated, since we didn't have a lot of time to enjoy the food on our wedding day. Overall, I'd highly recommend A.D.E. for any catering needs!

Being in the wedding industry, food was very important to me and A Divine Event couldn't have done a better job! I had a good idea of what I wanted and Chris(our main contact) listened and made sure it all happened. She excelled in customer service and made sure everything we planned was executed in the best possible way. The food was absolutely delicious and guests are still raving about it(and dreaming about it!). They had one server, Melissa, that was designated to my husband and I as well as our parents. She did a phenomenal job and we were never without a drink or food when we wanted it! She made sure we got our chance to eat and that is so important! I always said I was going to eat at my wedding and I did! Thank you Melissa! The day of went so smooth and the presentation was unbelievable! The staff was great as well! A Divine Event exceeded all of our expectations and I couldn't be more appreciative! Look no further because A Divine Event is everything you could hope for and more!!

A Divine Event did a great job catering for our wedding. They provided a free tasting and allowed us to choose menu items that fit into our per guest budget. Afterward, they were flexible about making changes to account for differences in the guest count. They also had no problem adding a signature drink to the menu on relatively short notice. We had a multicultural wedding and A Divine Event was able to make both Western and Eastern foods that our guests enjoyed. On the day of the wedding, the service was seamless! I didn't have to worry about the catering at all. It was a great experience.

Let me just say three words: Mac and cheese. For anyone who has caught these guys at Atlanta bridal shows you'll know what I'm talking about. If there was one thing all of our guests came up and raved about, it was the food and A Divine Event didn't disappoint. Their presentation was flawless both for the cocktail hour and the seated buffet that we had but the food itself!? Summer salads, coffee braised short ribs, maple chicken and that mac and cheese that I seriously could have eaten a whole tub of if given the chance. If they had a restaurant I would eat there on a regular basis. Their customer service is amazing (thanks Diane Park!) and it was the easiest process we went through while planning our wedding. Plus their taster appointments are fun as you're all sitting around a table, getting served this amazing food and talking about the big day.

I cannot recommend A Divine Event enough for a wedding or any other catered occasion. Working with Taylor was a pleasure from start to finish. She felt more like a friend that a vendor after just a few emails back and forth! She listened to what we had in mind and helped to both improve our vision based on her experience and expertise and help it be a reality while working within our budget.

The food itself was incredible and the flexibility we had when selecting a menu was remarkable compared to other caterers I spoke to. Beyond that ever single member of the service staff was so incredibly friendly to our guests and us during the wedding itself. We were treated like royalty with a dedicated server to make sure we had drinks throughout the evening and that we actually were able to try the food despite being so busy as the bride and groom.

I would highly recommend A Divine Event to anyone and will definitely work with them again should I plan other catered events in Atlanta.

A Divine Event was recommended to us by our reception venue owner. We couldn't have been more pleased! From the moment my mom and I stepped into their building, they were warm and welcoming. Our representative listened to all of our desires and guided us on things we hadn't even considered. My husband and I went for a tasting and couldn't have been happier about the decision to use A Divine Event. They were easy to communicate with and worked hard to fulfill every request we threw at them. They were punctual and tidy. Their serving pieces kept it looking like the beautiful wedding we had imagined! The representative that we originally met with was there to supervise and that gave us great comfort! Everyone looked clean, professional, and very well put together. Our food was always hot and never ran out. My husband and I were assigned an amazing woman (whose name I wish I remembered). She guided us through the crowd, to the serving tables, and served our plates for us! She then seated us at a pair of comfy chairs near the heart of the action. This gave us a chance to eat and visit with people at the same time. It seemed that every time I turned to go get something, she was already there handing it to me. What incredible service! One of our guests manages a facility that regularly feeds 600 at a time and another owns a catering business in Knoxville. Both of them were extremely impressed by both the food and the service. That's high praise!

Amazing, fantastic, wonderful!!! My husband and I looked at various catering vendors in the Atlanta area when planning for our multi-day, multi-cultural, long distance wedding (we live in Mississippi). A Divine Event was by far the best food, most friendly, and best value out of five other vendors that we looked at. We used A Divine Event for the main event (American Christian ceremony/reception) which took place at the Atlanta History Center for 300 people.

Our representative was Kristin and she was so sweet, attentive, and helpful. Since we live out of town, she was willing to work around our schedules and was always in constant email contact with me. Even though we changed our minds a few times, she was patient and accommodating.

The following were just some of the food items we chose:

Cocktail Hour: Almond Chicken Sliders, Hummus on a Crisp, Catfish Bites with Jalapeno Tartar Sauce (all of which were delicious!).

Buffet dinner: Summer salad with strawberries, oranges, and pecans; herb grilled chicken; garlic mashed potatoes; and fried green tomatoes (amazing!!!). Also, a chef performance station that included marinated flank steak with horseradish dijon and rolls.

Dessert: the Sinful Indulgence option that included everything chocolate you could ever want!

Our guests raved about our food some of whom have even worked for catering companies before!

Also, the serving staff were very professional, helpful, courteous, and efficient. Everything ran smoothly and without incident.

We also used A Divine Event for our ceremony/reception decorations and flowers. Terry was our contact for the decor and he was absolutely fabulous! He was so helpful and informative. He really thought of everything. Terry and his staff worked so hard and really created a masterpiece!! The reception decor felt magical. They even made sure that my hydrangea bouquet was exactly the shade of blue that I wanted.

I cannot tell you how impressed we were with A Divine Event! The food, the presentation, and the professionalism were flawless. We had passed appetizers during cocktail followed by a buffet/carving station dinner for 225 guests at the Fox Theatre. As a testament to their performance, my father worked in the restaurant business for 20 years and is difficult to please. According to him, "Most buffets like this might have one or two things that are good and the rest is okay. Everything they served was wonderful!"

Also, they did a wonderful job making my husband and I feel special through the entire process. We were actually looking at another vendor before selecting A Divine Event. Once we went to our tasting, we realized how attentive they were and focused on the success of our event. Also, they packed a box with our dinner, desserts, and truffles to go for us to enjoy at the hotel later. It's the nice touches like this and our dedicated server during dinner that took their food to the next level

Working with A Divine Event was a great experience. The food was incredible, the staff was very attentive and friendly, and the display of the food was great. A Divine Event makes sure to tie in your colors and theme in their presentation, and it was wonderful knowing I did not have to worry about how everything would turn out. My guests were raving about everything - especially the guyere mac and cheese and the dessert bar. It was also a pleasure working with Taylor Rhodes when setting up the tasting and planning our menu. She was always quick to respond to my inquiries, and was patient with my endless emails leading up to the wedding. She also took the time to go look at the venue ahead of time and plan out where everything would go. I would highly recommend using them as your caterer. I promise you won't regret it!

The food was delicious! I had many family members come up to be during the reception telling me how much they enjoyed the taste of the food and how beautiful the display was. Everyone had fun trying all the different food stations we had at our reception. The décor was so beautiful! My flowers turned out to be gorgeous. In House Caterer at The Atrium

A Divine Event is the in-house caterer for The Atrium in Norcross. They provided the food and the cake for our wedding on September 21, 2013. We knew that the food was going to be a hit when we went to the Romancing the Bride event on July 25. We were so impressed with the options on the menu that this excited us even more. The food was so good that I was kind of disappointed they didn’t provided us with more take home trays for my husband and I. LOL, I wish we had food to last a few days. I kind of wish I ate more that day but with all of the excitement I was so caught up in the moment that I barely ate. When it came time to cut the cake my husband and I finished our whole slice at the moment. Our guests still rave about the food till this day. Thank you Divine Event for one of the most memorable experiences in our lives!

A Divine Event was the caterer we chose for my daughter's wedding for many reasons. They have an excellent reputation and are very professional while giving the personal attention every bride deserves. The food was extremely important to us and ultimately what drove our decision to choose A Divine Event over the other caterers we considered. We chose three appetizers for cocktail hour and four stations for the reception. All of the food was not only delicious but beautifully presented. The staff was excellent, both friendly and professional. The walk through meeting before the wedding went smoothly. We left confident that everything would be perfect. We also feel that it was an excellent value. We would use them again and have happily recommended them to others.

A divine event catered our wedding at Cloverleaf Farm in Athens. We got a ton of compliments on the food, and the execution was flawless. They also packed an amazing to-go bag of yummy food for us after the wedding, which was great because we really didn't eat a whole lot at the actual wedding. I would definitely recommend them!!

A divine event's design team took care of our floral and design aspects too. It was so much easier to have one contact team for the whole shebang. Terry was a dream to work with. He really is super creative, and put together a beautiful setting for us - rustic charm, hay bales on the farm, gorgeous! We really felt the whole team cared about us and how the event turned out. They set our minds at ease every step of the way!

My husband and I recently married and we are so happy that we selected A Divine Event to cater our magical wedding day. They offered several different menu options to choose from which made it hard because everything tasted delicious. The presentation of the food was excellent!

Hats off to the Steve Moore and his elite staff! Steve was very professional from the very first time we met for our menu selection, through the tastings on to the wedding day. Steve was always prompt with responding to any questions or concerns that my husband and I had. We are so glad that A Divine Events was a part of our special day.

The food was amazing and our guests are still talking about how delicious the passed hors d'oeuvres were during cocktail hour which included Buffalo Chicken Spring Rolls, Maytag Sauce, Carrot, Celery, Served in a Shot Glass, Sesame Beef Skewers, Handmade Crab Cakes, Wasabi Mayo. We choose to have a seated serve dinner that consisted of Artisanal Dinner Rolls with Piped Honey Butter, Autumn Salad: Mesclun Greens, Cranberries, Toasted Pecans, Green Onions, Goat Cheese, Raspberry Vinaigrette, French Cut Herb Grilled Chicken with Garlic Infused Mashed Potatoes, Haricot Verte Wild Mushroom Saute, Chicken Jus. They raved on the way that Steve and his staff made sure everything was perfect.

We would recommend Steve and his staff at A Divine Events hands down. You will not be disappointed. We are so glad that they played an intricate role in our wedding! A Divine Event in our opinion is the best in Atlanta, Georgia!

It's hard to put into words how I feel about this vendor but I think AMAZING pretty much sums it up! From the moment we entered the office for our tasting I knew we found our caterer. I worked with Steve who is perfect in every way. He was flexible, responsive and a lot of fun to work with! The food at our wedding was unforgettable. I've heard that guests were staking out the door where servers entered with appetizer trays during cocktail hour and that the tray barely made it to the crowd before needing to go back for a refill. It was THAT good and this was only the appetizers! My new husband and I had a server who was assigned to only the two of us all night. She never allowed me to be without a beverage, water or any food that I could squeeze in between dances! No need to look further, A Divine Event is the best!

Everything from flowers to food to ceremony and reception decor was stunning. The food was de-licious. I was nervous but still couldn't stop eating ha. A Divine Event catered my wedding at Primrose Cottage. The food was absolutely AMAZING! My guests raved about every dish. The selections you have to choose from are wonderful and you can't go wrong. They provide selections according to the time of year. For example, I got married in December and chose to have a winter pear salad as my salad dish - to die for!
My husband and I had a private meal after our ceremony and were able to taste all of the items from our menu: EVERYTHING was delicious! I've never had better food at a wedding.

My sister got married last weekend and A Divine Event catered the food and it was absolutely fantastic! I have never tasted such delicious appetizers and everyone at the wedding agreed with me. I highly recommend the Mac and Cheese bar, it was a complete hit! For dinner we had filet, chicken, and potato's along with a salad. For dessert we not only had the cake but we also each person got an individual plate with chocolate covered strawberries and a selection of truffles. Everything was delicious and wonderful and I wish I could have taken a to go box home with me. I highly recommend A Divine Event!

A Divine Event did the catering for our wedding at Primrose Cottage in Roswell, GA. They had several base menus to choose from and several add on options to make the food selection as custom as wanted. We choose to stay on the more reserved side, as it was a summer wedding and we didn't want our guests to be overwhelmed with heavy foods. The buffet style service was just right for our budget and the food was so delicious. Highly recommended!

As MOB, I am thankful that I found "A Divine Event" early in the planning process for both catering and decor. 1st CATERERING, Steve Moore was responsive to my inquiries even though it was the holiday season. The sampling appointment was the clincher and after the bride and groom voiced their wants, Steve planned the menu. There were 3 stations - crab cakes, beef tenderloin, potato martini with toppings, and the main buffet. There was also a dessert station with wedding cake, peach cobbler in individual skillets, groom's topper with mini desserts and a coffee bar. Unbelievable! Guests made a point of seeking me out to comment on the delicious food, presentation and attentive staff/servers and bartenders. Steve Moore and his staff were all about quality. DECOR - Terry Schwennesen - Using "A Divine Event" was a very smart decision on my part. At the 1st meeting with Terry, the bride communicated her ideas and dreams for the decor. Terry worked with us and at the 2nd meeting, Terry and the bride were at a "meeting of the minds." The decor was unbelievably beautiful incorporating the bride's dreams and Terry's expertise. The smallest details were no less exquisite then the decor for the ceremony and reception. Terry designed an arch for the ceremony that was a showcase for the venue. Steve and Terry met again with us at the venue for a walk-thru a week before the wedding and they coordinated both the catering and the decor. On the day of the wedding, Terry stayed calm and cool even though the venue did not follow through with their responsibilities and allowed 2 functions to happen at a time when Terry and his staff needed to start their work. While the FOB was about to voice his objections to the parties, Terry and his staff were calm and reassuring. They assured us that they could work with the delay. That delay had to put stress on them but they never let it show. The result of their work was beyond my expectations. Thanks to Steve and Terry and their staff.

A Divine Event (ADE) catered my wedding 3 weeks ago. It was amazing. Their people were a pleasure to work with. I would absolutely use them again and would not even think twice about it. I very highly recommend them to anyone!

The long review for the detailed people (like me):
From the beginning, ADE was awesome. I didn’t have a super amazing budget and they worked with me to get what I needed at a price I could afford. They were always quick to respond to my emails and answered all of my questions with enthusiasm. The tasting was great and they helped us to develop a menu that was perfect. More on the food in a moment…
When I arrived at the venue on the day of my wedding, ADE was already there setting up. The only person that I talked with that day was Marla, the server that ADE put in charge of making sure my husband and I were taken care of. I didn’t talk to any other ADE people because I didn’t have to! They took care of everything. My wedding coordinator and cake baker said that everyone from ADE was super nice, that they were really on top of things and just handled the event perfectly.
Now, onto the food. It was the absolute best. Our three action stations were amazing. We had a Tilapia Taco station, a Pasta Station with 3 different pastas and lastly, a Southern Braised Roast with Garlic Mashed Potatoes and Stir Fried Collard Greens. The roast was a favorite of our guests. The food was so full of flavor, everything was very hot and the lines for all the action stations moved quickly.
Now, exactly three weeks after our wedding, people are still talking about the food! A few days ago, someone said that they never leave a wedding remembering the food and they still think about how good our food was. Another person said it was the best wedding food that they’ve ever had. Several of our guys said that they had two or three servings of the roast because it was “just that good.”
I highly recommend them and cannot wait to use them again!

I hosted a family event in which Divine Event were, hands down, our first choice as the caterer! Everything from the decor to the staff was great, and oh my goodness, the FOOD was absolutely DELICIOUS! My family and I are still talking about it and those that weren't able to attend wish they were there. A Divine Event was the perfect caterer for my wedding. I spent a lot of time researching all of the vendors in Atlanta. I fell in love with their menu offering. The food was not only delicious at our tasting, but was incredible on our wedding day. After our wedding, we received many compliments from guests regarding the food. Several guests said this was the best food they ever had at a wedding.

A Divine Event was also very responsive and attentive to our needs in the planning process as well as on our wedding day. They went above and beyond to make sure our wedding was a beautiful day. The design and set up of all of the buffet tables and cake tables were amazing. The staff was very attentive to our guests during our cocktail hour and reception. This allowed my family to enjoy the evening without any stress. I would recommend A Divine Event to anyone planning a wedding or event.

As parents of the groom we contracted with A Divine Event to cater the wedding eve rehearsal dinner. We could not have been more pleased or proud of the way the evening turned out. Working with event coordinator Chris McCommons was an absolute pleasure. I know this company is very busy but she was always so patient and made me feel as if I were her only client every time we had contact. When I had to make a last minute increase to the number of guests who would be attending Chris very smoothly pulled it off without a hitch! Another important detail of an event is the waitstaff. Every single one of the staff was exceptionally nice, accomodating, professional and, most importantly, personable. I have never worked with more pleasant people. Many an event has been ruined by rude staff and ones who act as if they'd rather be anywhere else but where they are. No worries here. We all hated to leave them that evening! The good thing was that we knew we'd see them the next day because A Divine Event also catered the wedding! I can't say enough about the food at the rehearsal dinner and the wedding. It's been almost three weeks since the events and guests are still raving about the cuisine! "Unique" would best describe the menu at both events. This is what impressed guests the most...how different and wonderful the selection was. I've had several guests get in touch with me and want me to see if I can get the recipes! I would highly recommend using A Divine Event for your special day. You will be thrilled with the results!

Steve from A Divine Event was literally a voice of reason and assistance throughout my entire wedding planning process. Not only did he guide us through the maze of food selection, etc. he worked with us to find ways to keep to our budget, and also referred incredible vendors for services we had yet to procure. I would recommend them in an instant for ANY event for which you need top-quality, impressive and flawless service and food!

A Divine Event was not only the best tasting of food of any of the preferred vendors they were also the most competitively priced. We received so many complements that it was the best food guests had ever had at a wedding. I will be craving the mac and cheese in the future. Their entire team especially Steve helped us with the best table set ups and linens. When I came in the room they had put together my vision and created magic. They made everything so stress free we were able to enjoy our wedding day.

Even though it was monkey-brains-insane on the wedding day, we did opt to do the private meal upstairs in the bridal suite. THANK GOD we decided to do this. It was the perfect time for us to take a breath and actually eat, instead of starve while being pulled in all directions downstairs with the guests. The quality of food was good. I thought the appetizers were much better than the entrees, personally. I loved the spanakopita. It was on-point--crispy and fluffy on the outside, warm and cheesy-spinach goodness on the inside. The texture and flavor were awesome. I was also very pleased with the spicy Thai beef on endive. The meat was not chewy and the flavors went well together. The jalapeno cheese was meh. The salmon was a bit dry and bland, but nothing terrible. The salad was wonderful. So much so, in fact, that I heard the guests ran out of the salad pretty early on. I don’t think all my guests got to enjoy the beautiful summer salad mixed greens. I also hear we ran out of the bourbon peppercorn flank steak, again disappointing. I don’t know if that means it was just too delicious or the portion was just too small. I tried it and thought it was good, but a bit too tough.
We did thoroughly appreciate the to-go baskets that were packed. We devoured it all that same night after midnight...after I was changed and comfortable, haha.

My wedding day with A Divine Event was absolutely perfect. They set me up with an incredible designer (Genie Chamberlin) who also coordinated the flowers and decor at our ceremony as well as the table arrangements at the reception. She took our music/rock and roll theme to the next level, with vinyl record centerpieces and really imaginative, personal touches and surprises tucked all around the room.
The Divine Event staff on our wedding night was incredible. We felt totally pampered and cared for all night long. No matter where my husband and I were (taking photos outside, chatting with family at the reception), they would come find us, check on us, and bring us food and drinks. When we got back to our hotel room at the end of the night, there were chocolates waiting for us and a box of leftovers. Everything just felt so easy… and everything was there, waiting for us and ready when we needed it. I didn't feel the need to even check on the wedding setup-- I relaxed with my girls all day, and when I made the walk down the aisle and then down to the reception, everything was in it's right place and it all looked beautiful.
And THE FOOD… Wow. We were delighted at the tasting, but I know sometimes when you make food in mass quantities the quality goes down. This was not at all the case here! EVERY dish was amazing. Many of our guests said it was the best food they have ever had at a wedding, and we totally agree! The fish tacos were my favorite… the stuffed pork tenderloin was also mouth watering. My dad was crazy about the chicken, my mom loved the pasta salad… everyone had a favorite dish. Our coordinator/sales manager Chris McCommons even accommodated very last minute when we found out, at the reception, that two of our guests had dietary restrictions were were previously unaware of.
If I have any complaints about A Divine Event it would be that there were times during the planning process when we had to email or call multiple times to get a response/update, but I know A Divine Event is juggling many clients at once. At the same time, when we did sit down and meet with Chris, she was a pleasure to work and incredibly patient and helpful.
In retrospect I wish we had planned a way to reserve a few tables for the wedding party which was a minor oversight (the bridesmaids/groomsmen ended up spread out around the room), but that was really not a big deal… they spent most of their time on the dance floor, anyway!
I highly recommend A Divine Event for your wedding in Athens, Atlanta and beyond.

I'm so glad I chose A Divine Event/1420 Room for my wedding! The event went very smoothly and was everything I imagined it to be. Everything from the food to the cake was fantastic. All of my guests kept commenting on how beautiful everything was and how good the food was. All of the staff members were always very helpful and accommodating. I highly recommend this venue!

"Our Beautiful Wedding"

A Divine Event helped me plan our wedding at Primrose Cottage this past Thanksgiving weekend. The service was impeccable and incredibly professional. Throughout the entire wedding planning process you could tell that they were experienced and knowledgable and well prepared for all of the options, if's and or but's. All of our guests were AMAZED by the food and the staff the entire evening.

From one little detail to the next, Divine Event made sure we had our dream wedding. The colors, the flowers, the cake, not to mention the staff's attention to detail and their #1 priority to please the customer. I had a mishap and lost a button for my bustle and without me hardly knowing, someone was always around to have my back in case my bustle came undone while I was dancing. Being one that typically has to plan all the events for work and friends made it so refreshing to be able to take in every moment at our wedding without a worry in the world because I knew the team "got it". They truly did!

You cannot go wrong working with them and the entire team will make your planning easy peasy. I am a planner and having a team that is organized and planned on their end is truly amazing. Not to mention, I did not hire a wedding planner and planned our wedding in 6 months! That being said, you can still have a beautiful wedding no matter the timeline! This team will make it happen and I'd recommend them for all my couples :)

Jenny did a great job with our food and decor for the wedding Saturday. ALL of our guests raved about the food. The bar was managed beautifully.
The cake was outstanding. We toyed with the idea of bringing in an outside cake but the taste of this cake totally swayed us to stay with Divine event.
Our wedding arch and table decor was AMAZING! (the arrangement on the right below is BEFORE it was put in the tall pilsner vases which were BEAUTIFUL-didn't get a pic of the finished design)
Jenny worked with us to keep the costs reasonable and we appreciated that so much.

The planning meetings kept us on track and stress free. So glad we went with Primrose and A Divine Event. They made the day smooth and worry free!! Thanks for your excellence! The day was FABULOUS!!

Our cake was absolutely stunning - in both visual appeal and taste. We couldn't be happier with our cake. If we had do it over, we would order a larger cake, and all tiers the toasted butter pecan flavor. Hands-down the favorite flavor. the cake (and cake decorations) seemed expensive, but we didn't get prices from anywhere else so I'm not sure how it really compares.

Divine is one of the only catering services that offers a complimentary tasting before signing the contract. They are very professional from beginning to the end and are always willing to answer any questions that you may have. They catered our wedding reception at the Wimbish House. Their food is spectacular! We had a shrimp and grits martini station during cocktail hour... which our guest is still raving about; and, a simple salad followed by a choice of coffee braised beef- amazing, captain curry chicken with prawns, or vegetarian lasagna. A divine event is very accommodating to your guests dietary restrictions as well. I definitely recommend this company to cater your next event!

A Divine Event provided us with everything we needed for our daughter's wedding (except a florist, which they would have serviced but we already had one). They were tremendous! At every turn, they listened to what we wanted and within their ability, did exactly that. We even met the owners at the venue and they couldn't have been nicer, more down to earth people! Such a refreshing surprise in today's over-the-top wedding world. But our wedding was absolutely gorgeous, as our guests have told us again and again, and the food was to die for!
I would recommend this company to anyone getting married in the Atlanta area without hesitation.
Many, many thanks to A Divine Event for making our daughter's day everything she hoped for.

We used A Divine Event for catering, florals, cake and decor. It was like one stop shopping! Steve was great. He was always available and quick to respond to emails, which I found to be the easiest way of communicating about the details of our reception. My mom and I enjoyed a delicious tasting session prior to choosing a full menu. He also helped me put together a beautiful table place setting. Sara, in the design studio, was also great. She helped my vision of florals and decor come to life perfectly. The flowers were so fresh and she used lace from both of my grandmothers' wedding dresses to wrap my bouquet stems. The cake had detailing around the bottom tier that matched the lace on my dress. I will say that I was looking forward to tasting cake, which was not offered to us. It worked out fine though because we went with a basic white cake, white icing flavor. A Divine Event was a preferred vendor to our reception venue, so it was nice that all of the people working on our wedding were familiar with each other. I would recommend A Divine Event to any bride in the area.

Wow! Cloverleaf Farms was everything I ever dreamed of. I immediately fell in love with the beautiful scenic backdrop of the ceremony location and the history of the property. Taylor and I had the pleasure of working with the amazing-talented-hilarious-compassionate Jill Cunningham. She took my very detailed vision and brought it to life, answered all of my ridiculous questions, was available just to chat at all hours of the day, most importantly reminded me to breath moments before walking down the aisle.... Every detail was flawlessly put together, not one little thing left behind and she did it with a smile and her charming wit. The rest of the staff was amazing, let me just say that one of my (having-such-a-great-time) bridesmaids left her phone at the venue and one of the bartenders drove to downtown Athens to deliver it to her at 1:30am. A Divine event was an "in-house" vendor for our wedding venue. They have a wide selection of catering and menu package. We had the "Southern Expression" menu and all our guests loved the food and their presentation was amazing. We also got the "Groom's last choice" for the dessert which had vanities of sweets and pastries. Their food is absolutely great.

I was so happy with A Divine Event every step of the way during our wedding planning. From our very first meeting, I knew that these people knew what they were doing! I worked with Taylor and she was very kind, responsive, and excited about being a part of our special day. She really gave us the personal touch we were looking for. Our private tasting was a wonderful experience, as we had personal printed menus and were able to try different items, deciding what we liked and didn't like. When it came to the contract, we had an odd request that they were great sports about; the FOB requested a box of golf balls upon completion of the contract and Taylor hand-delivered them to my father at the reception. He was thrilled!

We received only rave reviews about the food at the reception. Several people exclaimed that it was the best wedding food they've ever had. The short ribs and the butternut squash risotto were big hits and people were going back for seconds and thirds. Luckily my groom and I were able to sit down and grab a few bites to eat and it was all fantastic! We also chowed down at the end of the night with the food basket the ADV team sent with us.

Overall, working with Taylor & the team was a delight and I would highly recommend them to any Atlanta bride.
