Kristen was such an AMAZING photographer!! I knew since the moment I met her, she was going to be my wedding photographer! I met with a few other photographers before Kristen, but she really took the time to get to know me and what I had visioned for my wedding day. The photos she took for my wedding are BEAUTIFUL. She took a great variety of photos including serious romantic photos with my husband to fun photos with bridesmaids. Kristen really kept me together throughout my whole wedding, it was just like she was a family member. I felt so comfortable around her. Her and her husband Marc make a great team. We've had nothing but compliments on the pics and the photographers! Our wedding night up til now people have asked who were the photographers? Guests thought they you were friends of ours since you for right in. It's not everyday you find a photographer that has a talented singing daughter working with her. Who by the way cheered my daughter up multiple times with "Let it go". Everyone thought you guys were great, including your mom and of course Morgan! All wonderful things to say about you and now the pictures. You guys were really alot of fun, very outgoing and so down to earth. I'm so glad I called and again THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! And everybody loved the photo booth! Awesome memory book!

I absolutely recommend this photographer! She photographed my sister's wedding when I was 9 months pregnant and swollen like an overstuffed balloon (did I mention I was a bridesmaid?), and I felt beautiful in all of the photos! P.S. I do NOT like ANY pictures of myself, usually. I knew that there was no way that I could have anyone else capture the special moments of my own wedding day! They did a phenomenal job and I look forward to working with them again next month when they photograph my other sister's wedding! Yep, it's a FAMILY affair for us! We wouldn't even think of having anyone else there!

A Day in a Life was wonderful! The pictures turned out beautifully and with the package we received a digital copy of all the pictures, so we could easily print as many as we wanted. Kristen is so creative. We had a ton of fun photos!

We are very happy with our wedding album. We are delighted we Kristen as our wedding photographer. She made us feel at ease on the lead up to the wedding and on the wedding day itself. She has an excellent manner about her. She took such a personal interest in our big day. It's very clear from our album how talented she is as a photographer. From our first phone call I knew I would be booking our wedding photography with Kristen. She went above and beyond to make our day perfect. Our outdoor beach wedding was moved inside last minute due to a wild hurriance/nor'easter. Kristen was flexible and captured the most amazing moments that we will be adoring forever. Kristen and her husband Marc are absolutely wonderful! From the very first time we met Kristen and Marc, we felt like we had known them forever! They are so easy to talk to and really make you feel so comfortable. Not to mention that Kristen is so bubbly and energetic so its hard not to be in a good mood around her! We used Kristen and Marc for both our engagement photos and wedding photos and we loved that they wanted to go outside of the box to try and get candid shots and really capture the moment. We also used their photo booth and it was a huge hit with all of the guests!! All in all, we are very happy that we went with A Day in A Life and would definitely recommend using them for any photography needs! I will definitely be calling them in the future for our next special occasion :)

Kristen and her team are amazing! They did both our engagement and wedding photos. I knew after the engagement shoot that we made the best choice with them because they made my husband and I feel very comfortable and then we saw the pictures and they were even better than we expected! Kristen was with us for pretty much our entire wedding day and captured all of our favorite moments from that day. Her and her team took over 700 pictures and there honestly isn't one that we don't love! In addition, we decided last minute to use their photo booth as well and to say it was a hit would be an understatement! Our guests loved it!

I recently hired Kristen from A Day in A Life Photography for my wedding photography on October 17th, 2015. My husband and I planned a small wedding on the beach and we ended up with very high winds that day. Kristen was able to exucute beautiful pictures and you would never be able to tell we had such horrible weather. Kristen was very creative in her ideas of making the best of the weather conditions even taking toile from our beach trellis draping it around us and letting it fly in the wind creating beautiful pictures. Kristen was able to truly capture love and true fun in our pictures. We are very happy we chose Kristen as our photographer she was very easy to work with, creative, fun, proffesional and very punctual. Kristen met everyone of our needs for our wedding photography and exceeded our expectations. I highly recomend A Day in A Life Photography for any of your photography needs.

Kristen was Fabulous she was a lot of fun to work with her enthusiasm was infectious. Her photographs of my Daughter's wedding captured the essence of the entire wedding from getting dressed, through the beautiful Fenwick Beach wedding, to the end of the night crabfest celebration. We called Kristen within a few weeks of our wedding because our friend who was going to do our pictures had to cancel. I'm so glad we found her!!! She took the time to talk to us and understand what we wanted. On the day of the wedding she was great! She helped two very nervous brides feel at ease, and comfortable! Kristen, Marc, and Brandon were wonderful! They worked with us from the beginning shooting our engagement photos and walking us through the wedding packages. Kristen checked in with me a few times throughout the year to make sure we were on the same page. The day of her and her team showed up on time and did amazing. Kristen, Marc, and Brandon really knows how to connect with people and make them laugh. Kristen also has great ideas for pictures, and knows how to make you feel comfortable. I can not say enough good things about A Day in A LIFE Designs. I hired Kristen to shoot my surprise proposal in September and the experience was absolutely fantastic! Together we came up with a game plan and she gave valuable advice as to where the best location was, where to stand, etc. We totally caught my fiance, Wendi, by suprise and I couldnt have dreamed of a better outcome! The pricing was very affordable and the quality of photos was great. We got the photos quickly a few days after the shoot!

After the proposal, I realized I had not yet made dinner reservations. Kristen recommended a fantastic restaurant down the road that had the best mexican food but often had a long wait. Kristen wrapped up and left Wendi and I at the beach to enjoy our first sunset as a newly engaged couple. As we were about the leave, I got a pleasant surprise from Kristen saying that she put our name down on the list for the restaurant we discussed and cut our wait time in half! She not only went out of her way to capture this surprise proposal, but she played an integral part of making it an experience we will both never forget.

Wendi and I are so very grateful to Kristen for capturing this important time in our lives. You can fully trust A Day in A LIFE Designs with your occasion, you most definitely will not be disappointed.

Mark and Kristen Lathem were absolutely fantastic throughout our entire process. We emailed them only a 3 months before the wedding, and they responded within the next few days offering a free consultation. They were flexible with meeting times and locations, and worked around our schedules. We had a limited budget and they came up with a plan that fit that budget and our wants perfectly.
Kristen photographed myself and the bridesmaids/ladies getting ready the morning of the wedding and it was great. We had so many touching moments and she was able to capture them all.
After the reception, we took pictures on the beach and she was phenomenal. She actually went up to a couple and asked if we could borrow their chairs and towels for pictures...and they said yes! It was so much fun! Her creativity, energy, and enthusiasm were endless throughout the day.
We love the photographs and couldn't be happier! I would recommend A Day In A Life to anyone without hesitation!

A Day in a Life Designs photographers, Kristen and Mark, did an amazing job capturing every special moment for our wedding day. We can't even begin to express how happy we are with the services provided by them. Kristen and Mark are extremely professional, all the while making our time together natural and fun. They truly captured our personalities, and every single one of our photos are beautiful. I would highly recommend them to anyone needing a photographer for those special moments that life brings.

Kristen from A Day in a Life did a wonderful job photographing our big day! She was so helpful in deciding what photographs we wanted to get and offered advice to help our wedding day run smoothly. She worked within our budget and we were able to get everything we wanted. She was quick to deliver our photographs as well. Our guests commented on how fun she was during our reception. We LOVE A Day In A Life Designs! I was referred to Kristen by a friend of mine when I wanted to get beach photographs of my family two Summers ago. I couldn't have been more thrilled with both the positive experience and all of the incredible photos that I received. I was so happy that this past Summer, we again booked a beach photo session and now plan on making it a part of our yearly vacation plans each and every year. Next Summer, I am planning on having photos taken at not one but two locations and cannot wait! Kristen not only takes gorgeous, fabulous photos but makes it such a good time for all that my children actually asked this year to get their pictures taken! My kids didn't mind missing time at the boardwalk and couldn't wait to go and be photographed by Kristen. My children actually wanting to go get photographs taken has never happened before in all my years of getting pictures taken. And that is all Kristen - because of the fun experience, the laughs and her sparkling personality that we all (including my husband and kids!) really look forward to being photographed by A Day In A Life Designs! I love looking back at each photo, some I can recall what my family was talking or laughing about at the time - her photos tell a story and have such personality. A Day In A Life Designs twice now has captured such precious memories for us that will last a lifetime. Kristen is fun but professional, flexible, creative and so very talented at what she does - I just wish I lived closer so I could have A Day in A Life Deigns be a part of all my special moments/events throughout the year! I worked with A Day in A LiFE photography for my engagement and wedding photography. I was very happy with the way the all photos turned out. Kristen was great to work with as she was very responsive and engaged, talking with me and my fiancé in detail about what we wanted for the wedding photos. As it happens, I was more of a "hands-off" kind of bride so it was nice to be able to sit back and trust her expertise for photo poses and the like. Having said that, she also welcomed input and was eager to hear if I had any picture poses I had seen on places like Pinterest that I wanted to re-create for my wedding.
Additionally, on the day of the engagement photo shoot, we tried to take pictures on the beach but had issues with the weather, and the bright sun making my fiancé squint. Kristen and her husband offered to meet us later in the day at local winery for a second round of photos. The winery photos turned out great and I appreciated the fact that she went the extra mile to make sure we got pictures that we loved... and we did! I would highly recommend A Day in A LiFE photography to others looking for a wedding photographer, or even for casual family photos.

There are no words to explain how Kristen and her husband, Marc, captured our moment in time. Kristen was very helpful and responsive, even before we signed contracts. We knew going in exactly what our package included. We even had an engagement photo shoot, which she insisted on in order for us to gauge her as a photographer and for her to gauge us as "subjects" of her photography. Originally, we were just going to have our motorcycles in our shoot, but when I had the bright idea to include our 14 year old german shephard/golden retriever mix (Spike), Kristen thought the idea was wonderful. We ended up doing two "mini-shoots" instead of one. And thank goodness we did because less than 2 months later (and 13 days before our wedding) Spike was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, and we had to say goodbye to a close member of our family. Having those pictures from that day has made this whole experience a little easier. Knowing Spike was the "Star" that day has given us comfort and with the photograph collage display that Kristen set up for our reception, it felt like Spike was with us in spirit. On our wedding day, Kristen was prompt, took every photo we requested, and captured moments we would otherwise have missed. The photos are amazing and we are more than pleased with the quality and individuality of each and every photo. Kristen has a bubbly personality and we still hear from our guests more than a month later about how awesome our wedding was, and how much fun our photographer was! My husband and I would and WILL recommend A Day In A LIFE Designs over and over again!

Kristen has done an amazing job. She is a true professional and her personality is amazing; everybody loved her! She listened to us very carefully and communicated very well. All of the pictures she took are so beautiful! We are from Maryland but if we ever happen to be in the area again and need a photographer, we will definitely be calling Kristen!!!

Our Wedding was on April 6, 2013. It was a beautiful sunny day that I shared with my new husband, our families, friends, and co-workers. The day was fun and filled with love, great food, and lots of dancing!!! Our reception was at an oceanfront venue and the day was magical...Kristen and Marc were able to capture the whole day and through there pictures tell the story of how I remember our special day. They were fun, energetic, professional, on time...and were even able to deal with that one family member and every family has one....who wants to be challenging!!! They blended right in and were like a part of our family..If you would like a first class experience a Day in a Life Designs are the one for the job.

Kristen and our caterer were the only professionals at the wedding. Not an easy task for sure. I didn't even want a photographer at first because I was interested in posing, etc. but I am so glad we hired her. It was a lot of fun working with Kristen and Nicole. The wedding party also had a great time taking photos. She was very flexible as we were taking photos after the ceremony. We went to the Bethany Beach boardwalk, took a photo with a trolley, on an unused lifeguard chair, and at the totem pole. She was extremely flexible when we had spontaneous photo inspirations. The photos are really awesome! They turned out so well. We are thrilled!

Just wanted to send some praise to Kristen and her assistant Alan. The day couldnt have gone better. They were on time and super easy to talk to and were very professional but not stuffy. I was very happy with the way they worked with everyone and especially the little ones in taking their picture. SUPER!!!! Kristen Latham did our engagement, family and wedding photos. She did an excellent job on all of them. She was fun and professional. She wasn't pushy and made the days fun for all of us. We had our engagement and family photos done on the beach so at times the sun wasn't cooperating, but she just changed to a different angle and the pictures were great. Kristen & her husband are a very competent team. They swept in and helped to shape our event as well as take the pictures. Their experience with other weddings in the area helped to inform our other choices regarding the venue and the catering. All this while being very affordable. Had I done it all over, I might be inclined to buy a larger package that gave us even more time together. I felt sure that the longer Kristen is at a site, the more great ideas she's bound to cook up.

My Partner and I decide to get married on the beach at Bethany Beach Ocean Suites in Delaware . We knew we wanted to have professional pictures for this special occasion. We were referred to Kristen ( A Day in A Life Photography) along with a few other names. After speaking to Kristen I felt like I've know her my entire life. We talked about what we wanted. She had many suggestions . I also spoke to her husband Marc (who helps her out at times) He was a blast.
As my partner and I were from out of town it was nerve racking picking someone one. Kristen pointed us to her website to view her photos, and we were impressed. She also suggested we met up prior to our big day (8/20/2016) as she said she does like to bond and make us feel as comfortable as possible and boy did we :-) ....... We met Kristen and gave each other a big hug and had such an instant connection. She truly is a Awesome person. Very bubbly, sweet, energetic and a great pleasure to talk to. We also met her Mother as well, who is also so sweet!! We discussed what we wanted, wedding was at 7:30pm, Kristen was prompt and was ready to rock and roll !! We had our proofs within a dew days.
Kristen was creative in capturing our love, all our happy moments and tell a true love story. The pictures were absolutely beautiful, just like my bride :-)
If your looking for a photographer who takes amazing photos, who is creative, who thinks outside of the box, who listens and makes you feel comfortable, then Kristen from A Day in A Life Photography is your person! I would definitely recommend her!!

Kristen did an absolutely fabulous job at our wedding! She captured every beautiful moment from getting ready to ending the night with family and friends at a crabfest at our house. Kristen came to our place as I was getting dressed and not only captured the moments between my mother and I as she got me ready, but captured the amazing details like the the dress, the rings, the family bible, and more! She brought two fellow photographers along with her and this allowed every aspect of my wedding to be captured. As Kristen was capturing perfect shots of my husband and me during the ceremony, her fellow photographers were capturing the reactions of the crowd and details of the beach. My husband and I greatly enjoyed sitting down and getting to re-live the night as we went through the hundreds of photos that Kristen took for us!

Kristen and her husband were like having two good friends at the Wedding who also happened to be great photographers. They met us beforehand and and quickly understood exactly what our personal "style" was and approached the photographs to match it. Their price was like getting 2 photographers for the price their competitors charge for just one. With both, we were able to have Kristen with us before the Ceremony while her husband was snapping shots with our waiting Guests and family. It saved so much time for us to enjoy the reception more. They both interacted like friends with our family and close friends and many commented on what fun our photographers were. We highly recommend ADay In The Life for any Wedding.

Kristen and her husband make a great professional team. They did an excellent job at our wedding. We also had a photo booth and the attendants really kept our guests engaged and having fun. I told Kristen that timing was really important to me because I did not want my guests waiting too long and she really kept to the schedule perfectly! We got amazing photos in a short amount of time thanks the Kristen and her team. We loved the photos and we loved working with them. We loved working with Kristen and Marc before, during, and after our wedding! Kristen and Marc took a lot of time to meet with us to discuss their style of photography, pricing options, and other details before we had decided on a photographer. Kristen's enthusiasm for wedding photography (and life in general) is what sold us - in addition to her beautiful portfolio. During the engagement session, Kristen and Marc did a great job of making us feel comfortable in front of the camera, and making us look great in the photos! At the wedding, Kristen was an expert at moving the photos right along, capturing key moments, and taking a ton of candid pictures. She definitely honored my request of "a shot of every guest." Kristen, Marc and Brandon were there for every detail, and they even helped with some not so photography related tasks (makeup, cleanup, getting my guests to dance). Kristen was great at letting me be a crazy bride, and calming me down or making me laugh. The final result is stunning beach photos, emotional moments, and hilarious dance pictures. Thank you!!!

Kristen and Mark are the best! We live in upstate NY, and planning a wedding from that kind of distance is difficult to say the least. Kristen was so much more than my photographer... she gave us recommendations for hair stylists, make up artists, and even our cake! She was incredibly responsive any time I had a question - even if it was just about the weather :) Mark is a wonderful side kick, and really hit it off with all the guys. Even now that my wedding is over and my pictures are ready, Kristen is still checking in to make sure I like my pictures and asking if I want any more edits. She is really on top of her game! Loved working with these two... only wish I could do it all again! Thanks guys!!

P.S. We didn't need an engagement shoot so instead we had a mini photoshoot a few days before the wedding. We used these pictures to make our thank-you cards. Such a special personal touch - and a really fun day running around on the beach and acting goofy!

It was a great experience working with Kristen and Mark. They were very fun, enthusiastic and professional. They did an amazing job capturing all the pictures that we had requested. Kristen has a very artistic eye and is extremely talented. She was also super flexible when meeting with us and also responded quickly to any questions we had. Kristen is great photographer, with a wonderful personality, who provides her services at very fair prices. Her presence at our wedding actually added value to the event, and of course she captured same fantastic photos. She was a great combination of assertive, respectful, confident, friendly, and supportive. She's a great talent and brought a joyful spirit to her work with us on the day of the wedding. She also stuck with us through a year long post-wedding review/editing cycle (much of the duration was due to delays on our side, not hers, in reviewing the photos and subsequent refinements), and never failed to work to satisfy us.

Our disappointments related to the fact that (1) she stuck with her favoured "blurry background" style of photography, despite our guidance that we strongly preferred a "snapshot" style with everything in focus and (2) she didn't get many shots of our guests (other than the wedding party). We also seem to have overwhelmed her with details, advance plans, and updated plans (our style), when she works best with broad guidance and wide license.

In the end, flaws and all, she provided us with a beautiful way to remember our very special day, at a very reasonable price, and as a key contributor to the event.

Excuses Excuses

She tells everyone that shes a professional photographer, which she is not professionally trained. She told us that she had her photos uploaded to a site and that they messed up the files, but wouldnt she have the files already on her sim card? Then tried to tell us it would cost her a huge sum of money to try and get the photos back. She is a Scam Artist. Buyer beware. She writes a lot of reviews herself and steals photos from the net and says they belong to her.

Extremely disappointed in the quality of work and professionalism of this photographer. We had read the reviews and were excited about having Kristen be our photographer for our wedding. We had met with her several times to confirm everything including a list of photos to be taken. We had a beautiful ceremony and wonderful reception at the country club. It wasn't until we got the photos back from Kristen that we realized we had made a mistake. It started out the she came 40 minutes late, we had to postpone the ceremony until she arrived. She never apologized to us for being late. We had arranged for her to speak with our minister ahead of time to determine where she could stand, he was fine with her being up close but she never spoke with him and so most shots were taken too far away. She lied to us that she had spoken with the minister before the ceremony started. In addition, the photos came out blurry. We haven't been able to use any of them. We have used our family and friends cell phone photos were much better quality. She also did not use the list of photos we gave her and missed several important photos including formal shot of me (the bride), the bride and groom and our parents with us.
At the reception, the number of guest was less than 75 yet she missed over half of them. Instead she took pictures of her place card, the servers and the food. The outdoor photos were better but many of them were too far away and it was difficult to see who was in them. We tried to work with her to improve the photos from the raw images but the quality was too poor. We then consulted with three truly professional photographers, they all concluded that the camera settings were not done properly.
Our wedding was a wonderful day for us, our family and friends. We have many great memories of it but we have few photos we can show people. We regret we didn't go with a more professional photographer. It would have been worth the extra expense.
