Michelle and Marissa completed hair and makeup for our bridal party of 5 women. The whole experience was so joyful, Michelle took our makeup inspirations and ideas and improved upon them in her wise execution, Marissa made our hair look incredible, meeting each of our individual styles with artistry! We were so happy and grateful to the two of them! Everyone felt glamorous and confident throughout the day and long into the evening! -

Fantastic, flexible, affordable service

Jenna and Ashley did hair and makeup for our wedding and were absolutely amazing! They were super friendly and accommodating, and everyone looked beautiful! The salon was very flexible when I had to change my pretrial appointment and Michelle was very communicative to make sure I was 100% happy with my bridal look. I would highly recommend contacting A Cut Above for your event! -

Amazing stylists!
This past weekend, I had Destinee and Jenna, from A Cut Above Salon, do my hair and makeup for my wedding and was so pleased. They arrived early so they had time to set up and were prepared to start on time. Destinee did an absolutely amazing job on my makeup! I was so happy with how it turned out and she was so sweet and listened to all of my requests. Jenna did my hair and my bridesmaid's hair and we were both thrilled with how it turned out. She made sure everything stayed in place and took her time making our hair look so beautiful! Thank you so much to these girls, they were amazing! I would recommend 100%! -

Michele and her team were absolutely wonderful!!! We actually went to the salon three times! We had a great time getting mani's and pedi's twice before the wedding. The day of the wedding the team was totally dedicated to our bridal party! We all had our make up and hair done. They listened to us and did exactly what we wanted. Everyone looked beautiful!! -

Beyond happy to have found this salon. Michelle and her staff are all incredibly talented and everyone that had hair and make-up done (12 people!) looked absolutely stunning. 4 stylists/artists travelled to the hotel, which was incredibly convenient for us, making the morning stress-free and Michelle was very accommodating and easy to work with planning it all. 100% recommend! -

We had the most wonderful experience working with Alesia from A Cut Above. She was right on time, and worked quickly but efficiently with each girl. I was so amazed at the transformation she did for me that I actually cried when I looked in the mirror! I felt so pampered and gorgeous and would recommend her services to anybody. -

She traveled all the way to Cazenovia, NY, brought Mimosa’s, and a fruit tray! She and her team were very professional and were able to do 9 bridal up-do’s and 5 make-up applications all by 1 pm! Not only did we all look amazing but the make-up and hair stayed put on a very hot and humid day, and survived hours of dancing! I cannot thank Michelle, Jessica, and Alysia enough for their hand in making my wedding day beautiful! ~Nina

Rachel Sent on 07/06/2018Planning a semi-destination wedding four hours away was difficult because I was not familiar with any of the vendors in the Finger Lakes, NY region. I had to go solely based off of reviews of previous brides from wedding websites. I had requested on-site services at our venue. Michelle and her team arrived on time and were all setup and ready to go for us at the time we had agreed on. Michelle even surprised us with mimosas! Michelle and her team did an amazing job on myself and my entire bridal party. All of the bridesmaids, mothers and myself were thrilled with how our hair/makeup came out! I could not believe how gorgeous everyone looked. Many guests also complimented on how amazing the bridal party looked. The bridal party was also given their lip gloss, so we could re-apply as needed. I am so glad I went with A Cut above Salon for my wedding. I would highly recommend Michelle & her team!

I cannot say enough about Michelle and her team. She was in constant contact with me, and made sure everything was as I wanted it. The morning of my wedding, my bridesmaids and I went over to the salon, and were met with so much enthusiasm and the girls took instant care of us. They also didint mind that my mom tagged along to join the fun! Michelle checked with me during every step of my hair to make sure it was exactly what I wanted, and my makeup was beautiful. I highly recommend these girls, and thank you for making me wedding beautiful!!

Not only where they on time, they were ready and waiting when we arrived in the room. They drove over an hour, one way, in an ice storm! They gave us such professional and dedicated service, a real value for the money. I highly recommend them to anyone!

The entire staff was so friendly, offering a fruit platter and mimosas as we got ready. It was the perfect atmosphere for the bride and her bridesmaids to get ready and pampered the morning of her big day! They took care of every detail and were extremely professional. I would recommend them to anyone and will most likely be utilizing them for my upcoming wedding next year! -

I forgot to get a hair and make up trail done but this team made me look beautiful the day of my wedding. So professional and easy to get along with. I HIGHLY suggest them to any bride.

Tony Sent on 06/05/2018I don't even know where to start, you MADE my Wedding day absolutely Amazing!!!! A day I'll never FORGET!!! You took ALL the pressure off starting with hair and make up. That's all my husband hired Michelle to do. She then exceeded EVERY possible expectation by steaming dress to be perfect, music for ceremony, pictures through out from beginning to end, dressing me, carrying dress and flowers over by ⛴ (ferry) AND best of ALL Face Timing my family with my phone from New York BOLDT Castle to Wilsonville ALABAMA so they could watch ceremony. She made an AMAZING Wedding Coordinator and only hired to do hair and makeup!!!!!! I can't THANK YOU enough !!! Your made my WEDDING DAY BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!! Michelle lives up to the name "A cut above"!! Way above!

Great team, beautiful updos!
I just had my wedding last week with a large wedding party - we did hair and makeup for 10 women and the team finished early! I was so happy with how everything looked. I completely forgot the morning of to ask one of the makeup team members to cover up some scarring I have - I called and she drove back to help. I am so thankful I chose A Cut Above. Their costs are reasonable, their team is so professional, and they managed to make us all feel comfortable and beautiful the day of my wedding. The airbrush makeup was flawless and updos were stunning (and remained intact!) -
