Seriously! Flowers were my big Thing for our wedding. I wanted voluminous and colorful and fun arrangements. I went in with a general description (colorful wildflower vibe) and a few reference shots (all of which were similar to but not exactly what I wanted), and Chelsea/A Country Rose delivered EXACTLY what I was dreaming of. My flowers were absolutely perfect. Not a single note. And set up on the day of was completely seamless. The team came in and did exactly what they needed to do with very little instruction from me. The absolute best!
We contracted with A Country Rose for our wedding and could not be happier! We had a very specific vision for our florals; we aren't trendy or "over the top" and we wanted everything about our wedding to be "timeless" so that when our grandkids look at our photos, the styling of everything is as beautiful then as it is now.
Chelsea listened intently and understood our vision 100%! We live in Tampa, so we had to do everything from a distance; the questions she asked during our phone consultation made it incredibly easy to describe what we wanted and then boom...a couple days later, we received a proposal with details and design examples that captured everything perfectly. I've seen other arrangements done by ACR and they're amazingly capable of the most artistic statement-style arrangements, but Chelsea heard what we described and created exactly what we wanted!
As our vision evolved alongside our planning, communicating with Chelsea was seamless; we stayed in lock-step the entire way and she made all the adjustments needed promptly.
Her collaboration with our wedding planner (A Piece of Cake Event Planning) relieved us of all stress, her delivery + set-up was flawless, and all of our blooms were breathtaking. All of the flowers were so fresh; I was able to keep my bouquet in water until I made it back home and then ship to have it preserved as a piece of pressed art. The business preserving my bouquet sent me detailed pictures upon receipt and even after shipping across the country, it was still beautiful with the flowers in excellent condition.
We had my bridal bouquet, my matron of honor's bouquet, six boutonnieres, two corsages, a floral hoop, ten centerpieces, and a handful of bud vases to scatter about the venue - Every single stem, every single leaf, every single petal; the quality of design, materials used, and construction + installation provided by A Country Rose was absolute perfection!

Couldn’t have been better!
A Country Rose was the first stop I made for looking at florals for my wedding and it was the only stop I needed. Chelsea was able to pick up on my vague descriptions perfectly and brought a vision to life. To say I was obsessed with the florals is an understatement. When I needed to make adjustments leading up to it she was quick to send me an updated proposal as well. Stunning work and they were so easy to work with. Absolutely worth it.

Crucial and amazing
Chelsea at a country rose was an amazing help for our wedding. She made sure we got exactly what we wanted, was incredibly responsive and helpful and made sure we got the best deal for what we were doing.

We had such a fun time and received many compliments about our lovely flower arrangements. Boutonieres, mother's corsage, my bouquet and ALL of the centerpieces and decoration above the fireplace.

They made the most breathtaking bridal bouquet I have ever seen! We had requested that all the groomsmen have a slightly different boutonnière, and somehow they all went perfectly with the bridesmaids bouquets. They came to the venue and put up an arch, decorated it beautifully, put flowers on all the tables, and delivered all the flowers to the right rooms on site. I have used them for years, and they only proved to me that they are dedicated, service oriented, and creative beyond anything we could have imagined.

I knew little to nothing about flowers when we went into our meeting with Chelsea. I knew what colors I wanted, but I didn't know how to make it a reality. A Country Rose did just that. Our bouquets, arbor, and centerpieces were absolutely gorgeous. Every email or question was answered promptly and professionally. I went to Chelsea a month before the wedding to make last minute changes and additions after a change in bridal party numbers and she accommodated everything. Her team set up and tore down everything so efficiently that I didn't even see them day of. Thank you for making our day beautiful!

A Country Rose Made My Floral Dreams Come True!
After having to change venues 4 months before the wedding, I was so stressed when I found out I needed to find a new florist ASAP. I had my heart set on a floral backdrop to incorporate a neon sign for the reception, and after speaking with a different florist who's response to my back drop was "This seems like a lot of work for a photo opp", I was expecting the worst... But when I spoke with Chelsea during my initial consult she was excited and ready to hit the ground running. When I tell you they knocked this one out of the park!!!! The tasteful table settings, beautiful arrangements, and my "must Have" 8 foot dried palm back drop absolutely stole the show. I wouldn't da use another florist in North Florida.

We could not have been any happier with all of our floral arrangements and bouquets at our wedding. I told them I wanted blue and white hydrangeas everywhere and they did that! My wildest floral dreams came true! They even helped to make our ceremony aisle, inside barn door draping and flowers on my cake perfect! Having A County Rose as our wedding florist was a no-brainer. We have gone through this florist for numerous floral arrangements throughout our years of living in Tallahassee for a variety of occasions but when it came down to the big occasion, our wedding, there was no doubt of who we would work with.

A Country Rose Florist was amazing. Their hard work and dedication shows in the work they do. Everything I asked for was there. My bridal bouquet was absolutely stunning, the girls bouquets was beautiful, the guys boutonnieres perfect. The centerpieces, candles, candlesticks, lanterns all the Vintage China and glassware was stunning. I would highly recommend this team. Annette and her team are wonderful! My bouquet was absolutely gorgeous as was my wedding party's flowers! Annette is super friendly and very knowledgeable about what blooms would work well together, which was very helpful since I only knew the colors that I wanted for my flowers. She was also very accommodating and worked with me to stick to my budget. I would work with A Country Rose again in a heartbeat!

A Country Rose did an amazing job for my wedding! My bouquet was gorgeous and exactly what I had hoped for, using all of my favorite flowers. Annette was very kind and accommodating, especially working with our budget since we overestimated our count. Every question and request was answered, and A Country Rose delivered amazing centerpieces and arrangements for both our ceremony and reception. The bridal party loved the flowers, and guests thought our centerpieces were beautiful and romantic. Since we slightly over-ordered, we did have to rearrange where some flowers went at the last minute, which resulted in our sweetheart table and cake not having all of the decorations we had hoped for. Overall, we were very pleased with A Country Rose and impressed by their work, would highly recommend!

A Country Rose was our florist for our wedding on 4/9/2016. I had slightly specific wishes for our flowers, and requested birds of paradise as our main "floral theme". The flowers turned out breathtaking, and even better than I had envisioned. My husband's boutonnière was also a bird of paradise flower, which a few florists had told us would not be possible due to its large size. A Country Rose, however, did not have any problem making his boutonnière as I had requested, and it looked great! We used the flower table arrangements for both our rehearsal dinner and our wedding reception, and they were delivered promptly for both events, and had been freshened up for our reception. They looked fantastic and fresh for our big day!

Annette was wonderful throughout the entire process! I actually started working with her last summer before A Country Rose moved into the new The Wedding Suite house in Midtown. Always timely and professional with her e-mails and fair prices for what we were looking to accomplish for our small bridal party (and family). There were SO many e-mails back and forth creating creative solutions to fit our budget and I never felt like I was a bother to her or the staff there. They're all always happy to see you. When I came up with an ideal to have a magnolia bridal bouquet, they informed me it could only be done with silk flowers. We created a silk and real flower arrangement that fit my vision perfectly and used a hankie I gave them for the bouquet as well. They delivered the flowers along with a rented chandelier (and they set it up for us and tore it down later that night) on time that afternoon and everything was as discussed. I'm so pleased with this vendor and would recommend them in the future to friends or use them myself for any occasion. They're just fabulous!

Annette was price conscious and worked wonders with what I had. She even gave me cost cutting ideas for the reception. If I could give A country Rose 10 stars, I would. The arrangements and bouquets fir my daughter's wedding were beautiful and perfectly captured our vision. The hydrangeas were so fresh they maintained their bloom for well over two weeks after the event - I am still enjoying them at my home! The arrangements rival the most expensive florist in town for a fraction of the cost. And the staff are flexible and willing to go above and beyond to meet our needs.

The staff at A Country Rose were wonderful! Annette was so helpful in assisting me in figuring out my vision for what I wanted for my bouquets and centerpieces. The staff were always kind and professional whenever I called or stopped in the store. They were also flexible when I changed my mind about the color of roses I wanted two weeks before the wedding. I was on a tight budget for my wedding with a bridal party of 22! I decided to make my own bouquets and boutonnieres to save money. Annette was not only accommodating, she gave me a quick lesson on how to create the perfect piece. The bouquets were perfect and we ordered just the right amount of baby's breath. In addition to ordering flowers for me, I also had corsages made for our mothers and grandmothers and I wanted my bouquet to be special in all shades of purple. A Country Rose created THE MOST BEAUTIFUL bouquet I have ever seen in my life! I could not have asked for a more perfect piece! Thank you for surprising me with such a beauty! Long story made short, I recently proposed to my girlfriend and I needed a lot of different flowers. Not only were they very accommodating to my needs but they were prompt in returning calls and emails. It was worth every dollar. I was behind schedule b/c of another florist that didnt bother to return calls. A Country Rose got my flowers in ahead of schedule and the proposal went as planned. I had a very limited budget and A Country Rose really helped me get everything that I was looking for and at a very reasonable price. I bought loose stems for all of my flowers and assembled the bouquets, etc. myself. The consultant met with me and tried to get an idea of how much of everything I would need. I also called and changed my order several times and they were very happy to help every time. When I came to pick them up, I was unsatisfied with the way that one of the flowers looked, and they exchanged them on the spot, giving me a few different options to choose from, that allowed me to have more of what I was looking for. I would definitely use them again.

I wanted to have simple and affordable but high-quality roses for our wedding, and A Country Rose was the perfect match. Their staff designed elegant bouquets, boutonnieres, and corsages for our ceremony at a very reasonable price and I couldn't have been happier with the color and freshness. I also ordered bulk roses for DIY simple centerpieces (which my day of coordinator put together because I was so busy!), and the price and quality were also unbeatable. They also accommodated a color change a few months after my initial order, as well an order for extra bouts the day before the wedding without any problems, and they were always very friendly and professional. Highly recommended!

We had an arch at the head of the Reflection Pool at Maclay Gardens, decorated with an awesome assortment of flowers from A Country Rose, as well as flowers for the reception and of course the bridal bouquet, boutonnieres, etc. The flowers were delivered and set up promptly, they looked amazing, and they were even able to accommodate a last-minute additional boutonniere we added.

We are so happy that we hired A Country Rose as our florist! I sent them pictures of the different styles that I liked and they made it happen. Our ceremony flowers were beautiful and they really added a romantic feel to the room. The reception flowers were very vibrant and all of my guest were commenting on how beautiful they were. A Country Rose worked with me in my budget! At first I thought I was going to have to DIY my bouquets, but I'm so glad I called A Country Rose. They gave me BEAUTIFUL flowers at a not outrageous price. We did have some email trouble, but I believe it was the settings on my email because they would always get flagged by spam. Also, my bouquet, was STUNNING, however it was almost 12 pounds. My photographer said it was the heaviest he had ever seen (He's been doing wedding for 20 years). I work out daily but holding up this bouquet at odd angles for four hours straight of photos was tough. I guess they say beauty is pain. So .. bottom line the quality is there, but be prepared to work for those pics! Sorry the pics in this review aren't great.. I am very impatiently waiting for my photography pictures.

I went to A Country Rose eleven weeks before our wedding after my previous flower source fell through. I had a modest budget, only a vague sense of what I wanted ("Don't you have a flower catalogue or something?") & I wanted them to incorporate my own vases into the center pieces. Oh and I requested as many locally sourced flowers as possible. This shop did not bat an eye at any of it and they knocked it out of the park. When they delivered our flowers to the wedding venue, they were whimsical, magical and abundant. Better than I ever could have imagined. What talent! One of my friends commented "dude your florist crushed it!" When was the last time you heard that kind of enthusiasm for wedding center pieces? We caught random tourists taking selfies with our ceremony flowers before the guests arrived. They were that good.
To make your life easier (with any florist) I'd recommend setting a budget and discussing it at the first meeting, being as specific as you can about what you want, and bringing pictures of things you've seen that you liked.

A country rose did an amazing job on our flowers. From the bouquets, boutonnières, centerpieces. Absolutely beautiful! The flowers on our cake were even more beautiful than I imagined they would be. They were able to work with our budget and make our wedding day even more spectacular than it already was. Thank You!

Annette with A Country Rose does amazing work! My bouquets turned out beautiful! I also got corsages, bouttenierres, and cake decorations from her too. Everything was so beautiful and perfect. She took everything that I said I wanted and created a masterpiece. The only negative thing I would say is that it takes her a few days to respond to your emails.. one email took her almost 2 weeks to respond. Other than that, she is awesome!

Annette is great! I met with four other florists and she was the only one who was receptive to my ideas and budget factor. She is very easy to work with and definitely has the ability to make your concepts real. The only thing that bothered me was the lack of email use. It made it hard to get some of my questions answered.

We ordered our flowers from A Country Rose to put together ourselves. I couldn't have been happier with the pricing as well as some of the ideas they gave when we were discussing our order. Our flowers were beautiful and even though one portion of our order was incorrect, they fixed it the day before the wedding without any hesitation. Would definitely recommend them and use them again!

I received a call the morning of my ceremony telling me that the flowers I had ordered weeks in advance were not available that day. I had specifically ordered and paid in advance to ensure availability of the flowers needed, so naturally I was disappointed in the service I received, especially as an annual customer. Thankfully the flowers were able to be delivered 30 minutes before they were needed, but I spent the morning in a panic unsure of their arrival and the success of my event. I will most likely be finding a new vendor for next year to bare the freak out.
