Pandemic Proof Wedding Planner

When news broke in late March that our May 2nd wedding was going to be postponed due to the city restrictions brought on by COVID-19, Victoria swooped in and contacted all our vendors to coordinate back up plans; if it weren’t for her we would have had no idea where to start. We were paralyzed by sorrow and defeat for the loss of our initial wedding but Victoria was our rock and savior through it all! She is truly the biggest asset to your wedding day- she goes above and beyond to make sure you have everything organized before the big day; and on the day of your wedding you don’t have to worry about a thing (trust me, I’m a professional planner and she gets it all right!). 5 star service, professionalism, and she’s also just an all around wonderful person!

Hiring Victoria was the best decision we made!

Victoria to the rescue during the pandemic - transitioning a 200 guest wedding to 12! She created a plan of action, contacted vendors for alternative dates, and helped relieve our stress. Best of all, she reminded us “why we were having a wedding!”

So grateful for A Bride's Ally!

I would HIGHLY recommend A Bride's Ally. They were perfect for us because we already had everything booked, but needed help with the scheduling of the vendors, last minute details, just generally tying up all the bows and making sure things ran smoothly. We ended up getting the package where we had a coordinator 6 weeks out and for the day of - and THANK GOD we did! We got Kayla Williams as our coordinator... We honestly wouldn't have gotten anything done with out her help and guidance. Kayla was staple to our wedding coming together. In the end, we felt so sad saying bye to her because she felt like she just became one of our friends. She was willing to do the most inconvenient tasks to make sure things went smoothly (driving to Target literally an hour before the wedding to buy the correct type of Polaroid film) and she got all of the details right (sparkler photos, champagne toast, making sure photographers were always where they needed to be). She was everything to us!!! Not only on wedding day/night, but the six weeks leading up to the day Kayla was there for us. She met with us for hours one morning over coffee to plan everything out. She answered my texts about how stressed I was and totally chilled me out. She was so wonderful in every way. Again, I highly recommend using A Bride's Ally. They take so much off of your plate so you can enjoy the process of planning and your wedding day rather than being stressed out. I am so grateful to them and especially to Kayla!

An absolutely amazing experience

Victoria and her assistant were AMAZING. Throughout the whole wedding process Victoria always was there when we needed her. She responded to emails promptly and answered every question I had big or small. She made me feel confident my day would go smoothly and it did. My husband and I had the wedding of our dreams and it exceeded our expectations. Victoria is to thank for a lot of that. Can’t recommend her enough.

I cannot say enough nice things about A Bride's Ally. We worked with Kayla throughout the entire planning process and from the minute we met her, her guidance, suggestions and taste were immeasurably helpful. We would not have been able to pull off planning this incredible wedding in 6 months without her! The day of the wedding was perfectly seamless and stress free thanks to Kayla. I am the Mother of the Bride and took the lead on much of our daughter's wedding planning due to our daughter's work schedule. I honestly do not know where to begin with my praise of A Bride's Ally since they are nothing less than the best in the business.
Every parent wants to give their daughter the wedding of their dreams and this was no different. We live out of state so having a good, reliable, knowledgeable wedding planner who is also great to work with was essential. We interviewed quite a few wedding planners in the St Louis area and selected A Bride's Ally due to the professionalism, responsiveness, honesty and personality of its owner. We used another wedding planner for our other daughter's wedding also out of state so we had a high level of expectation and they did not disappoint at all....in fact they exceeded our expectations greatly!! We were just so very pleased with A Bride's Ally.
From the first time we met months before the wedding, we found them to be highly responsive, creative, hard working and on top of every detail. We were always given choices for the many decisions throughout the process and were always pleased with the vendors A Bride's Ally recommended and we chose. On the wedding weekend, Victoria Burrows, owner of A Bride's Ally, had everything under control and our daughter's wedding day was flawless and so much fun. We worried about nothing and just enjoyed the months of planning and celebration. Our daughter said it all on the day after the wedding...."my wedding day was perfect....the pace was exactly what I had hoped for and I couldn't have imagined a more perfect day". From my perspective, there can be no higher praise for a wedding planner. I just wish I had more daughters since this wedding was a blast to plan....all due to Victoria and her team at A Bride's Ally. She is simply the very best in the business and we are so grateful for her since she made our daughter's dreams come true.

I don’t even know where to begin writing this review for Victoria and A Bride’s Ally—I truly can’t say enough good things!! I wanted to plan my own wedding but I knew I would need all hands on deck for the wedding weekend itself, so we hired Victoria for day of coordination. A few weeks before the wedding, I basically sent her all our vendor contracts and everything I was working on and she took over from there, making final confirmations with all our vendors and finalizing our timelines. She made sure everyone was on the same page before the weekend even started, which took such a load off my plate! The entire wedding weekend, starting with the church rehearsal up to last call on the dance floor, Victoria was with us taking care of things in the background, making sure things ran smoothly and ensuring everything was exactly what we needed and wanted. She is incredibly poised and professional, and for me it was so calming to have her around. She was like the one person who wasn’t wild with wedding day adrenaline, which was very soothing to me in those moments when I started to feel overwhelmed by all the emotions of the day. It was such a blessing to have her on our vendor team. Victoria is truly an angel sent from heaven to zap all the stress of your wedding day away from you—you won’t regret having her on board!!

Victoria was our month-of coordinator. Leading up to the wedding, she was very thorough and responded to questions quickly. The day itself went very smoothly! Her coordinating help the day-of was invaluable and worth every penny - I would HIGHLY recommend all brides have her on their day (don't rely on yourself or mom to keep everything under control - you already have too much to do!) We provided all the decor (which was a LOT) and she set it up beautifully according to our wishes and packed it all at the end of the day. After meeting with her before the wedding I trusted her completely with our day and she exceeded our expectations.

As the Mother of the Groom, we were in contact on a number of occasions and she was always there with assistance, answers, guidance and suggestions. There is no way we could have pulled off this beautiful wedding without her - we will always be in her debt!! My son and his beautiful bride wanted a fairy tale wedding and that is exactly what they received and more!! The best decision we made was hiring A Bride's Ally. They turned a nice day into a fantastic day!!!!!!! As mother of the bride I was able to enjoy every minute of the day and had no concerns!!!!! Seriously guys, Victoria and her team are hands down the best!! I purchased the day of wedding package and I could not be anymore pleased. It was definitely worth it and I could not have gotten everything done without her and her team! Victoria is very organized, precise, and up to date on anything and everything. She is so great to work with and gets the job done. I needed serious help setting up my venue since our time was extremely limited between when our venue closed to the public and when our ceremony time began. I am a very precise and detailed person when it comes to styling, but Victoria did everything perfectly! She was so on top of everything and I could not be more pleased. Very impressed and will use her for future parties!

I just got married 12/10/2016. Victoria from A Bride's Ally is worth her weight in gold! From the beginning, she was there when I needed her and gave me all the advice I needed. She truly streamlined the planning process. She helped me think of things I hadn't and was in charge so I didn't have to worry. She made sure the rehearsal went without a hitch and that the Wedding Day was absolutely perfect. I didn't have to be stressed at all because I knew Victoria had it under control. Working with Kayla from A Bride's Ally was an absolute pleasure. I knew I wanted help planning our STL wedding from out-of-town but working on a budget made me feel like a planner might have been a luxury we just couldn't afford. The day-of services were a perfect compromise and exactly what we needed. I was able to put my DIY skills to work and have a hand in all the details, all while Kayla was available to jump in anywhere I needed. She coordinated all of our vendors and ensured our timeline worked perfectly with all of the many pieces. She guided us in the structure of our ceremony (one of the most stressful parts for me!), helped set up/break down decorations, and packed up our gifts. We just got married this past weekend, October 17, and used Victoria Burrows/A Bride's Ally for the "Weekend of" services. I don't even know where to begin with telling you how incredible she is and how much I appreciate everything she did for us.

First off, she did so much more than just help that weekend: she emailed back and forth with us a ton, helped settle disputes, listened carefully and did exactly what was needed, contacted and kept in touch with all vendors, gave us heads-ups as to anything that we were missing or might want, worked hand-in-hand with the hotel planner, advised on tipping (and anything else we asked about), made a list of what to do/how to proceed when changing my last name, and so much more. The weekend of, she came to EVERYTHING from our rehearsal at 5pm Friday all the way through the end of the wedding after midnight Saturday night. She orchestrated all timing, passed out the tips, dealt with transportation, parents, babysitters for out-of-town guest's kids, weird relatives (not that we really had any), all requests, etc.

If you can think of it, she did it all in the most calm, reassuring, and professional manner. There is literally nothing this woman can't do, and she made our weekend the best. I can't believe I'm able to say this, but absolutely nothing went wrong at all, and I really think it was because of her!!!

I could go on for ever about how much I love Victoria and what a lifesaver she is, but I'll close by saying this: You spend so much time and money on putting a wedding together, and the last thing you want to do is have to stress and micro-manage on the day of. Having A Bride's Ally as your wedding planner will be your most important and best wedding planning decision!!

Where do I even begin?! Victoria was absolutely amazing to work with! She made my wedding day absolutely perfect - everything I dreamed of & more. I used Victoria as a day of coordinator and from the day I met her I knew she would be so organized and in charge the day of the wedding! The weeks leading up to the wedding everyone was asking me if I was stressed and my simple answer was "no, because Victoria has it all taken care of". Victoria coordinated our wedding the day of. She was amazing and we didn't have to worry about a thing! She thought of everything and had awesome suggestions when we weren't sure. She even let me wear a white coat that she owns during our wedding photos because it was freezing and let us use votives from her personal collection for our centerpieces. Victoria from "A Bride's Ally" was nothing short of phenomenal. She helped me and my wife plan our dream wedding. From every detail, Victoria helped out through the entire 16 month planning process, ensuring we did not forget one thing. She made planning a wedding an absolute breeze. I have referred Victoria to every single one of my friends and actually my sister has hired her as her wedding planner for her 2015 wedding. Victoria not only helped us plan our dream wedding but was a blessing on the day of. She helped clear a winery, set up all of our decor, and made sure both wedding parties were doing great in the mean time. She sincerely cares about her clients and it really shows in her work. We hired Victoria as our Day-of Coordinator and couldn't have been more pleased with her and her assistant. We did all the wedding planning ourselves but when it came to the "Big Day", having Victoria there to execute all the details, keep us on time and give us peace of mind that everything would be done, was invaluable. Viktoryia's assistant Katie did an excellent job helping all of my plans come through for my big day. It was totally worth the price to have someone there to help with any issues that arose so I could sit back and enjoy it. Everything stayed on time, and I even was able to have some down time in the afternoon to catch my breath and freshen up for the reception. We couldn't have had such a smooth day without them!

I hired Victoria as my day of coordinator for my September 2014 wedding. I compared several different coordinators in the area and choose Victoria for her reasonable pricing and because of her great reviews. I am so glad that I had Victoria the weekend of my wedding - she ensured everything ran smoothly and all of my vendors were where they needed to be. She was definitely worth the investment and gave me peace of mind the whole weekend knowing that everything would get taken care of. She offers additional consultation hours outside of her day of package that I purchased. It was great to be able to reach out to her with all of the questions / any issues I had during the planning process. As an out of town bride, it was great to know I had someone who could take care of anything I needed in St. Louis. I also used several of her vendor recommendations and was pleased with all of them. Victoria was very organized and responsive. I felt very at ease knowing that my wedding was in good hands. I purchased a package about a year before my wedding for day-of assistance and about 20 hours of pre-wedding assistance. I did a lot of research for wedding day of providers and narrowed it down to Victoria because of her stellar reviews and her offering of a bride-on-a-budget package which was perfect for me and our budget.

A day of coordinator definitely seems like a splurge for today's bride considering it's not something you HAVE to have and it's an extra expense, but I am now convinced I couldn't have done it without her. We got married in a park without anyone to help coordinate so we really needed someone. We also did most DIY stuff and had to decorate on our own which was another reason we needed a day of coordinator.

At the moment we booked and on, we were so very impressed. Her willingness to help and go above and beyond kept surprising me delightfully. She helped me a lot before the wedding (probably more than 20 hours, but didn't bill me anymore) going with me to vendor meetings -- always being professional, timely, and very knowledgeable. She also called vendors, did research for me for different vendors, came to the rehearsal dinner, etc.

She also helped us a lot with the leg work -- she picked up our linens, flowers, and offered to pick up cupcakes. She also dropped off our linens and chaffers after the event. She brought two assistants the day of (at no extra charge!!), she gave vendors payments on my behalf, did ALL the set up (I seriously did not have to come in a minute before I needed to to do anything), did ALL the clean up (we left with the guests), and was the point person for the day so people went to her with any problems, not me. She took all the stress and responsibility off me and my family, those who paid and want to enjoy the party the most!

I highly recommend Victoria if you want a reasonably priced service provider (worth EVERY penny) who is professional, knowledgeable, and willing to help.Book her and thank me later!

If you are looking for a wedding planner, look no more!!! Victoria was the best thing to happen to me. I was an out of town bride planning a wedding in St. Louis so I definitely needed assistance. After checking prices and references, I decided to hire Victoria and didn't regret it one bit. She was always available by phone or email if needed. She offered suggestions but let me plan my wedding. I flew in for two days and Victoria had many venues for me to look at and a list of vendors I would need. She created a month by month checklist for me so I could stay on track and avoid being stressed. I have to say that planning my wedding was not stressful at all and I was able to enjoy my day instead of stressing about everything. I let down my controlling guard and let Victoria take charge and was extremely happy. I would recommend Victoria's services to anyone. She is very economical!!!

Victoria was a Godsend. From the start we knew that we were going to need help. We were getting married in St. Louis, I was in Virginia, my family was in Chicago and the bride...well she was deployed. She offered the perfect out of town bride package. Though we had already picked the venue, caterer and DJ, Victoria took care of the details for us and kept us on track. We used her resources extensively, from the invitations, to the hairdressers and makeup artists and even for our centerpieces. About a month before the wedding, we had to unexpectedly change the venue and timeline for the day. She took it all in stride, found new options for us and never let us panic. In fact we never stressed, because we knew that Victoria had it covered. On our Wedding day, she handled everything so that we got to enjoy the day stress free and focus on us becoming husband and wife. The day ended up being better than we ever could have imagined due in large part to Victoria and her team.

She has our absolute highest recommendation. Deciding to hire her was the best decision that we could have made for our wedding.

My wedding was this past weekend, and I cannot begin to describe how thankful I am that Victoria (from A Bride's Ally) was there to run the day. We couldn't have done it without her. She took care of all of the last minute details and kept us running right on time so that I didn't have to worry about a thing. Everyone says that your wedding day goes by so fast, but, because of Victoria, I was able to truly enjoy the day.

I highly recommend Victoria - she will take all of the stress off of you and ensure that your day is everything you dreamed of. Definitely the best decision you could make at an amazing value!

I was looking for a day-of wedding coordinator, and my cousin, who was married the year before me, recommended A Bride's Ally to provide me with the support we needed to make sure everything was set for the rehearsal, ceremony and reception. We had our initial consultation with Victoria, at which point we gave her all of the details of the wedding that we had up until that point. She was extremely professional from the get-go, and it was obvious that she was very on top of her game--asking me questions about the wedding that I hadn't even thought of! She was also very friendly and outgoing, and my groom, our mothers, and I all felt very at ease with having her take hold of the responsibility of managing the big day.
Our final meeting was two hours long, and we went over the timeline and happenings of the entire wedding day. At this point, we pretty much turned everything over to her and she took care of coordinating our vendors, and making sure everything went according to plan.
The day of the wedding, everything was amazing! The reception was set up even better than I had envisioned, thanks solely to Victoria and her assistant. She was moving around at such lightning speed throughout the wedding day, I hardly even saw her--but her presence was certainly noted in how smoothly everything was run.
So many of my guests commented that it was one of the best weddings they had ever been to--I can truly say this was thanks, by and large, to the help of A Bride's Ally. I would highly recommend Victoria to anyone getting married, whether you think you need a little bit of help on the day-of the wedding or if you need help planning the whole shebang. I can't believe we ever thought we'd make it through our wedding without hiring someone! With how affordable A Bride's Ally was and how much assistance they ended up providing, it was definitely the most bang for our buck we got throughout the entire wedding process!

As my fiance and I were planning our wedding from out of town, it was absolutely necessary we find someone to help with the planning and coordination of our special day. As our budget was very strict, we weren't certain we could find someone who could assist us. Luckily, we found A Bride's Ally! Victoria was very easy to work with and brought many amazing ideas to the table that I never would have thought of. Our package included some planning services and day of coordination. Our wedding day truly couldn't have been better, minus the rain, of course! We did not have to worry about one thing--Victoria handled it all and worked very well with vendors and my family who was in charge of the floral decor. I highly recommend Victoria and a Bride's Ally! I did not have to worry about a single thing on our wedding day!

I contacted Victoria about two months before my wedding. I had been doing all the planning myself from across the country. I realized that there was no way to get everything done without someone in the area to help out. Victoria helped me to iron out all the details. She arranged to pick up and store all of my decorations and helped me find the best deals on vases, etc. She helped so much during the planning phase and then took care of everything on the actual wedding weekend. She was there for the rehearsal and the entire day on Saturday. I have no idea how I would have gotten everything done without her. She's like magic. I know that there is no way I could have relaxed and enjoyed my day as much as I did without her there. And my day was just perfect!!

I had 4 months to plan my wedding, and after countless searches for vendors, sites, and designs, my mom and I were about to give up. I remember crying on the phone saying, 'I don't want to get married anymore!' Victoria stepped in and cleaned up the mess. We didn't have a lot of money, and after hiring Victoria we saved thousands of dollars. She suggested vendors who fit in my budget and did a fabulous job!

Then we ran into centerpieces...one of the things my mom and I disagreed on the most - she wanted traditional and timeless, I wanted fun and different. Victoria listened to both of us and came up with a bunch of centerpiece ideas, all of which were awesome and my mom and I BOTH loved!

Victoria is amazing at turning madness into magnificence. I really don't know if we could have survived without her - her day of services were priceless. I had time to sit and relax for an hour the day of my wedding...how many brides can do that? She took care of everything. You are really missing out if you don't hire Victoria, she's a gem!

I had the pleasure of hiring A Bride's Ally to coordinate my wedding. It was the best money I spent. I think a lot of brides don't consider having a wedding planner because they either think they can't afford it or they can do it all themselves. That is not the case with Victoria. Her services were very affordable, and her help and expertise were priceless. She was there for everything from getting me organized with time lines, vendor suggestions, decorative ideas, proper etiquette - you name it she knew it. She made herself very available to me during the whole planning process. I would definitely recommend day of service as well. Your wedding day goes by so fast and having someone to take care of all the details is a godsend!

Victoria took care of everything. Anytime I asked her something she already had it done. You work so hard to have a perfect wedding day, do yourself a favor and hire her so you can actually enjoy it!! She kept the whole day moving stress free and enjoyable for Tim and me. We are so thankful we had her and can't imagine the stress we would've had trying to do it all ourselves.

We used A Bride's Ally as the day of coordinator and Victoria did an awesome job ensuring that my daughter's wedding ceremony and reception was as perfect as it could possibly be. Victoria was really easy to work with, very organized, patient and took our vision for the reception and made it come to life. It was just beautiful. She really helped keep everything going smoothly and on-time. We appreciate everything that Victoria did for us to make it the best wedding experience ever.
