Amazing and breathtaking photos!!

I cannot say enough positive words about Ashley Blake. She was so wonderful to work with! Her positive attitude and energy made it a fun experience. Our pictures turned out beautiful and amazing. Ashley caught every detail and moment with our little one (1.5 years old). Please please go to Ashley Blake for a wonderful experience and gorgeous photos.

Amazing and talented!

There are not enough words to describe how amazing and talented Ashley is! I have never hired a professional photographer for anything before and I was sooo nervous to reach out to anyone but when I heard back from Ashley, she put all my anxiety at ease. She told me about her work, asked me what my wedding was going to be like and what I envisioned. I had no idea what I wanted and I had no idea how to even be photographed. I am a fairly self-conscious person, I don’t have great self-esteem and I don’t like myself in photos. Ashley showed up on time, was sooooooo sweet, accommodating and professional. She made me feel beautiful, which is hard for anyone to do. Still, I thought I wouldn’t look great, I started picking myself apart, that is, until I saw the final photos. I looked amazing. It’s not something I can ever really say naturally, but I looked beautiful. The way she captured the lighting, the background, the posing. She was incredible and on the most stressful day of my life, she made it a breeze. Ashley is the best there is, and I plan on using her for all my future photography needs. To capture your special moment, you cannot get better than Ashley, I absolutely love her!!!

Superb Photographer!

Ashley was an absolute joy to work with!!

Honestly, my husband HATES taking pictures. When I told him that part of the deal of getting married was to have pictures taken, he had a physical reaction. Ha! Ashley put everyone at ease, EVEN HIM!!!!

Ashely didn't let record breaking heat (117 horribly hot degrees) ruin her mood or her enthuisasim for our big day. In fact, she helped keep up our spirits when the heat was getting the best of all of us.

To be frank, Ashley felt from the start like a family friend. She never felt like just a vendor that I hired for the day and she never made us feel like just a client. I've been to many wedding where the photographer was obtrusive and in the way of each special moment. Ashley captured each special piece in a way that didn't distract from the moment.

Her enthusiasm for our family, decorations and our love story just melted my heart. AND I have NO idea how every picture wasn't of red faced hot people! Her pictures show a family coming together with pure joy.

I'm truly sad that we don't live closer, so Ashley can be a part of documenting other special moments in our lives. But I can be extremly thankful that we found her to capture our wedding!

Beautiful Photos - Refreshingly Professional

Ashley did our engagement and wedding photographs - both were amazing! She did an incredible job capturing the joy of each day - we've loved the photos!

It was also refreshing to work with someone who was on top of all of the details (schedules, logistics, venue, etc.). This was particularly key as our engagement was a surprise for my now wife and Ashley had to hide to capture the moment.

She also processed the shots extremely quickly and had everything back to us to share with family only a few days after each event.

If you want a photographer that's going to make you genuinely laugh in your photos, capture every image you want, and do it 5x faster than you could imagine - Ashley is your girl. Working with her was so much fun and she really brought the BEST energy with her. When I was getting ready in the bridal suite, I was a total ball of nerves and honestly couldn't calm down enough to have a normal conversation. Cue Ashley walking in and changing the vibe from the most anxious afternoon of my life, to the genuinely happiest day of my life. She is all smiles, high energy, and she really made me feel so prepared, gorgeous, and just ready to rock and roll. She also had my back. I told her I was self-conscious about something, and she made that part of me look great throughout the night. Just a sweet touch I appreciated. <3 Her pictures are AMAZING and I couldn't be happier with them. During the planning process, she was super responsive and detail-oriented down to the minute of where she needed to be to get things done. She works hard and she does not mess around when it's time to round up everyone for pictures and keep things moving along smoothly.

How do you rate A. Blake Photography, simply the best!

I had already met Ashely and I knew that she was wonderful but my husband met her and he knew what I was talking about. She has an eye for lighting, for natural beauty. She has an energy about her that is contagious.

Ashely did our engagement pictures and right when we saw the preview for our engagement pictures we couldn't wait for the wedding pictures. The whole time she was very responsive and so sweet.

Our wedding day was captured beautifully, we had so many comments from so many people how wonderful she was. I can't stop looking at our pictures. They are amazing. I cannot say enough wonderful things about our pictures. She took over a thousand and I no joke love EVERY single one of them. She's that good! Worth every penny. You will NOT be disappointed. I've told her she's stuck with us for life. She will always be taking our pictures, she is so wonderful! She has a pure heart of gold and talent that is out of this world!

Where do I event begin to describe how amazing my experience with Ashely was. From the moment my husband and I sat down with her we knew we had to have her photograph this amazing day for us. She is so incredible warm and upbeat with a firm undertone to make sure every photo you could ever want is taken. Her professionalism mixed with love for what she does shows in every one of our pictures. We could have never asked for anything better. Working with Ashley was amazing! We picked her originally for her photography style and price, and we were so happy that we got along immediately. She instantly made us feel comfortable in front of the camera and was hilarious and easy going. Ashley is an absolute dream to work with. She is flexible, accommodating, and the sweetest person. She truly cares about what you want, and incorporates that into her shoots. She takes time to email and call if necessary! We literally had our entire group of wedding photos in our email while we were still on our honeymoon, she's amazing! I've never heard of that quick of turn around. She has a talent for using the outdoors to capture your entire experience, and makes it fun! I hate posing for pictures, but Ashley is truly a talented professional and I would 100% recommend her. I hope to use her in the future! You won't be disappointed if you book her! The overall cost we spent included a thumb drive of all of our pictures so we have them whenever we want or need them--also worth the investment!

Ashley was the only and only photographer my husband and I met with during the planning process. I knew I loved her work, and as soon as we met her, we also loved her! Ashley is an absolute joy to be around and made us both feel comfortable from the start. The turnaround time was crazy quick- we had teaser shots within days, our engagement USB was sent one week after our session, and wedding pics just about two weeks from our wedding. When it came to the day of, Ashley was so efficient and organized without being stressful. She has a very friendly approach but will make sure everyone is in line and on time to get the pictures you want. Her pictures are gorgeous- she has such a natural talent and ability to find the best lighting and capture beautiful moments.

I was lucky enough to have worked with Ashley prior to getting engaged, so when I did, I knew I had to have her! Not only does she capture every smile and tear perfectly, her personality is truly the reason that my husband and I are head over heels in love with our wedding pictures. My husband and I had the absolute pleasure of working with Ashley to capture our engagement photos, as well as our wedding on the Central Coast this year! Having our wedding in a different city than we live made planning a little complicated. My husband and I did not have an opportunity to meet Ashley before our wedding. All she needed was one phone call with us and it felt like we knew each other for years. The day of our wedding, Ashley knew exactly what we wanted and was able to mold to the atmosphere and the personalities of our friends and family. She made us both feel very special and helped us relax on our big day. We are very thankful to have had our wedding documented so beautifully and still find ourselves looking through the pictures and remembering the day we said "I do." This review is far overdue.

Ashley is a photography angel! We met with several photographers and we knew within the first 5 minutes of meeting her, she was our girl. Her photos obviously speak for themselves, but we wanted someone who would fit in with our intimate private 45 person wedding.

My husband and I live and work in the SF Bay Area, so a wedding in Paso was a destination. Ashley was attentive, courteous and professional. We booked the engagement pictures to feel more at ease being in front of the camera and to get a good sense of what the day of the wedding will be like. Ashley made us feel comfortable and knew how to get us to laugh honestly. No fake or posed shots, all candid. She really has a knack and an eye for beauty and bringing it out in everything she photographs.

She recommended our videographer, who turned out to be another amazing vendor. All of our vendors have worked with her and thoroughly enjoyed it, which was also important for our decision. For one cohesive day, everyone to work together. No stepping on toes.

The photos she captured are something we will cherish for the rest of our lives. When you think about budgeting for a photographer, it'll likely be one of the pricier items. The work they put in on the day of, the hours of editing, pale in comparison to what you're getting out of them for the rest of your life. It's truly a legacy.

My entire family loved her. She fit right in. My sisters still talk about her months later. She's purely just an extension of our family now. I'm sure if/when my husband and I decide to have kids, we'll be making the trek to see Ashley again. Hiring A. Blake will be one of the best decisions you make for your wedding. I can guarantee it.

Ashley was a pleasure to work with from start to finish - from engagement photos to helping us with some planning to the big day. Ashley and Melodee did such an amazing job capturing our wedding. They are both so talented!! I really appreciated how they took photos of so many things I missed seeing: the beautiful ocean backdrop before the ceremony, our niece looking out at the ocean, friends enjoying some wine.... they didn't stop all night and they even brought us water bottles since it was a hot day. We just love our photos and we have so many to choose from. Plus, they are both such sweet people who somehow manage to get everyone comfortable in front of the camera. A. Blake Photography captured amazing engagement and wedding photos for our June 2014 wedding in Pismo Beach, CA. Associate Melodee did our engagement and wedding and loved the pictures from both! She made us feel comfortable and did a great job capturing posed pictures but also amazing candid shots. We had a very small wedding of about 25 people on the beach in Avila, CA.
Ashley did an amazing job! We were super comfortable with her and she made pictures fun. She was a huge help too! Very friendly, prompt and kind. On top of that the photos were absolutely amazing! So many good shots! Everyone was very pleased!

Ashley is such an amazing and talented artist. She is very easy to work with and puts her heart into her work which makes for great pictures. What stands out to us as we remember our wedding day and working with her is that her heart is genuinely in the moments she is capturing. This made it very easy to be photographed. Ashley Blake is an incredible photographer! My husband and I booked her for our engagements and wedding/reception. All it took was one phone call and we loved her right away! She is very professional, yet a very warm person too. I have very sensitive and red skin and Ashley's lighting made me look amazing! I knew after seeing our engagements we were going to have some great wedding pics!

We just had our wedding last week and I couldn't wait any longer to write a review. Our guests ranted and raved about her! They all said, "we loved your photographer!" They loved how she took so many pictures, how she was so friendly, but also rounded everyone up to where they needed to be. Not only did she take thousands of pictures, but she also helped take care of me. She made sure that my dress and bustle were taken care of and that my makeup was still flawless late into the reception. Having Ashley as our photographer was one of the best decisions we made and we felt so lucky to have her take pictures of our wedding. I will definitely be recommending her to others and will book her for future pictures!

A. Blake Photography is so much more than just a photographer. Ashley and her assistant went above and beyond what was expected. She made us feel so comfortable and relaxed, it felt like we were working with a long-time friend. She helped me get ready and avoid wardrobe malfunctions throughout the night. :) She and her team are true professionals. We had a destination wedding, which can be terrifying but Ashley made us feel so relaxed and at ease. They know everyone in the industry and that made everything seamless. I wish we didn't live in another state because I would use A. Blake Photography for every occasion. We received so many compliments on our wedding photos, they caught every special moment... even the little ones.

make your brides do a list of necessary photos so day of they don't forget. I completely forgot and didn't get a shot with all of the groomsmen and groom with all of the bridesmaids- one with my mom and mother in law together. Not a huge deal but a nice to have. :)

We met Ashley at a local wedding fair. She was literally the last photographer we spoke with, after several grueling hours of meeting with people. Her warm personality and gorgeous photos left us with a great impression and was refreshing.
As a note, I am terrible at posing for photos. I do weird things with my hands, accidentally give myself double chins, slouch, make bored faces by accident or smile strangely. Ashley managed to take beautiful photos of everyone and made me feel like I was actually not a total weirdo in front of the camera. I highly recommend doing an engagement session with her as well.
She guides you in how to pose if you need it like me, but is not pushy, and she sets up shots visually so well. The colors look super vivid, and she really does a wonderful job. She is always timely in her communications, up front about the costs of everything (her flyer at the show was one of the few that actually listed prices)
Her assistant Melodie is equally awesome, warm, and talented. They both did such a wonderful job with our wedding photographs.
I have no idea how she manages to be everywhere taking photos but is never intrusive. She had us do posed family photos, which I love. I am horrible at thinking of photos to get, those "must have" lists overwhelmed me. I didn't ever give her a list of photos I "had to have" and she got all these wonderful photos I would have never thought of. She does a fantastic job and I highly recommend her!

I can't say enough about how fabulous Ashley was. I was married almost a year ago, and people still tell me how amazing my photos are! I found Ashley on this very website as I was planning my wedding in SLO from the SF Bay Area. Ashley was quick to answer my many, many emails very thoroughly, and worked to make sure I was able to see her when I was down in the area planning. She also did our engagement photos, which were stunning. Ashley did a walk through with us before the wedding, and every location and picture idea we had she fulfilled. She shot our whole wedding with enthusiasm and humor, and even kept my husband's unruly brothers in check, which trust me, is no small feat :) I will never be able to thank Ashley and her assistant Kayla enough for capturing our day, especially the small moments I had forgotten in the blur of the day. She is truly amazing at what she does, and she captures your memories beautifully.

Ashley was amazing on our wedding day! She made the photo taking process fun, which isn’t necessarily easy to do. For all the composed shots, she moved us around the venue so efficiently. She has a great eye and we loved how she capitalized on the natural light in many of the photos. Ashley and her backup photographer were both extremely professional! So many of our guests commented how great they were. Ashley sent us our photos within a matter of days, which was unexpected and such a treat! We’d highly recommend Ashley!!

From the first moment I met Ashley a little over a year ago I knew she had to be the photographer for our wedding. As soon as my then fiance and I walked into her office we got a sense of just how great she is. We were instantly all three on the same page as to how we envisioned our special day to be captured. Looking through her work it was easy to see just how passionate and talented she is. By the end of our meeting with her we were all cracking jokes as if we had known one another for years (or at least that is what it felt like). We booked her on the spot. As the wedding approached we were lucky enough to have the opportunity to to shoot our engagement photos with her. I am still blown away each and everytime I look at those photos what an amazing job she did. She has a way of making the beautiful moments that she capturers appear so perfectly effortless. Oh and did I mention that she had the proofs back to us within days? AMAZING. On the day of our wedding Ashley and her assistant were professional, yet at the same time had a way of bringing a sense of calm and comfort that usually only comes from someone you have known for years or is a part of the family. This was not her first rodeo to say the least. She was on time and stayed on schedule without missing a beat. She captured so many moments of a truly wonderful day that will now get to live on with us forever. She even was able to capture a picture of my husband and I kissing under a rainbow! Seriously?! She is amazing! And again, she had the proofs back to us within days! I feel so blessed that she was able to capture this special day for us and although my husband and I now live 5 hours away, we plan on booking her in the future anytime we are in need of a photographer! Ashley Blake is truly amazing and I have and will continue to recommend her for anyone who asks!

We loved Ashley and she did a beautiful job. We decided to purchase the package where we received all digital prints on a disc and have over 1,000 gorgeous pictures from our wedding. Not only does Ashley take amazing pictures but the way she works is reflected day of. As a photographer she created a great flow to the wedding. Timing is key and she definitely did a great job. LOVE! LOVE! LOOOOOOOVE A. Blake Photography! I remember seeing her work way back when I was just starting to search for a venue and being blown away. I live in LA where some snobs would like to think LA has the best of the best in terms of photography. But, in my opinion nothing compared to the work that I had seen A. Blake Photography do. I just knew I had to have their services for my wedding. They had the exact look and captured the exact moments that I hoped would be able to be captured in my wedding. I worked with Kayla, Ashley's associate. Kayla was WONDERFUL! An absolute gem! She came with an assistant and the two of them were very kind sweet gals! We were very pressed for time since the sun was setting, however Kayla assured me that this was great lighting and there would be some fantastic shots! They worked quickly and effectively. Knew exactly where to pose us (even though they had never been to our venue before) and knew which locations would make for the best shots! After the wedding I was so anxious and nervous to see the photos.......when they arrived, I WAS SPEECHLESS!!!! They took my breath away! I feel so incredibly blessed! Ashley is the best photographer! She was so helpful in the planning process and gave me recommendations on many other vendors. She always answered my emails within a day or 2. I couldn't have picked a better photographer! From the moment we met her, both my husband and I felt like we had known Ashley forever! She was fun, creative and made us feel so comfortable. We had Ashley do our engagement photos as well as our actual wedding. We were a bit nervous before the engagement shoot, you know how when you feel a little uncomfortable, it shows through in photos? Well, we had absolutely nothing to worry about. Ashley had us hamming it up in no time! She kept us laughing and we loosened right up! All of the photos were gorgeous, she not only captured the light perfectly, but really captured the love and joy in our relationship. I couldn't believe how great of an experience the engagement shoot was! After that, we knew that the wedding day would go perfectly. And it did! Ashley brought an assistant with her and just got so many amazing shots of us and our bridal party! It was raining but she convinced us to brave the rain with an umbrella and the shots she got of us out in the rainy field are my absolute favorites. When my husband and his groomsmen wanted to do some goofy shots out in the rain, Ashley was super supportive and got out there, laughing and taking great photos! I cannot sing her praises enough. She is the deal of a life time too, for the quality of her work, her awesome personality, and how quickly she got us our photos, it's quite a steal. Ashley was absolutely the best photographer that we could have wished for. Ashley Blake Photography exceeded our expectations. We had the pleasure of working with Ashley over the course of 9 months from our engagement photo shoot through the wedding. She made us feel so comfortable and was really there for us every step of the way. All of our photographs are absolutely gorgeous. We spent so much time talking through the process with Ahley. She never rushed us and always made us feel like her most important client. The best thing about our experience is that she remembered every little detail on our special day. She blended into the background, took charge when she had to, and captured all of those little moments and favorite people that were so important to us.

Having Ashley Blake and her associates shoot our wedding was one of the best things we ever did! Our family and friends continue to give us nothing but compliments on not only our beautiful pictures but the time they spent around them as well. She truely made it easy to have fun and relax while taking the pictures for everyone in the wedding party. She was also quick to get us our engagment and wedding pictures to us! I know my husband and I were blessed to have Ashley and her team there for us on our big day!

Ashley Blake and her team are amazing. From the moment we met Ashley we knew she would be the one to photograph our big day. She is so fun and easy going that you automatically become comfortable with her and you can help but smile. Her associates, Kayla and Shelbea are the same way. All three were nothing short of spectacular and our pictures prove it. We cant thank them enough for the wonderful job they did!

Ashley was wonderful, sweet and professional! She and her assistant provided us with phenomenal photos that we constantly get compliments on when people look through our album. She was very assertive about directing us to put our chins down, or look over there, without getting pushy. She also provided us with the digital files of all the photos, with no watermarks or restrictions - an unbelievable plus for getting prints of our own on our own time. She listened to what we wanted, and came through with exceptional photos that will last us a lifetime. She was also not the most expensive nor least expensive photographer I was looking at, but her packages have incredible value. Thank you Ashley!

Ashley is incredibly talented and professional. She works fast and intuitively finds creative and unique inspiration, making the shoot fun and interesting to print. I think if you're looking for a creative and stylized photographer, then she's your gal!

Ashley Blake went above and beyond our expectations. She is an amazing photographer and is extremely flexible. It rained on our special day, but she was able to make the most of it by suggesting alternative locations to shoot and the pictures were unbelievable. She also captured every "must have" photograph of our special day. She comes very highly recommended and is extremely affordable.

Ashley was great to work with- the photos turned out great and everyone commented on how beautiful they were. She was fun and easy to work with, made the photographing seem natural, and truly has a creative eye.

Ashley is awesome at what she does! She knows how to put you at ease (for those of you who feel awkward when the spotlight is on you) and makes you actually feel like you are a supermodel (for those of us who aren't). Ashley and her associate were extremely professional but also very fun to be around. They made me feel relaxed on an otherwise potentially stressful day. Our wedding photos were absolutely beautiful and the turn around time on the proofs was very fast (about a week or so). Knew I would like her from the first time we spoke face to face. Her services were a bit pricey but not enough to discourage me from hiring her again should we have another important event. Highly recommend!

When my now husband and I started planning for our wedding, we had agreed that our photographer was going to be one of the most important vendors we picked. It was really important to us that we found someone that captured our special day in an artistic and contemporary style. After searching high and low we found Ashley Blake and am I ever so thankful that we did. Her work is amazing and I completely love all the photos she has taken for us. The engagement shoot went by so quickly and was so much fun. We loved how she captured the sunlight which created such a warm glow in our pictures. It was exactly what we were looking for!
Our wedding day was more than we could have asked for. Ashley was such a joy to work with. She easily fit in with our group and was soon joking around with the bridal party all while capturing such wonderful photos. We just recently got to see our pictures from our big day and I was so ecstatic with the job she did. We have gotten nothing but rave reviews on all our pictures. She truly was able to capture all the fun and love that was felt that day. Ashley we cannot thank you enough for all your hard work. Ashley is a great photographer. We considered and interviewed 6 photographers in the area and found her to be extremely price competitive for the talent and package that she offers. She did a fabulous job capturing the moments of our special day. The photos are beautiful! She responded to my questions quickly and moved along the order of our albums so we would have the parent albums in time for the holidays (which I would have lagged on if she hadn't encouraged me). She has fantastic energy and a wondeful assistant!

she is pretty new only a few years out on her own but has many years of working under someone so knows what shes doing. since she is newer her prices haven't sky rocketed like many others. she is really fun and very friendly. direct and tells you what to do but doesn't seem pushy or mean about it. Also she was 8 months pregnant at my wedding and besides having a big belly you would never have known with her enthusiasm and energy, so just imagine how great she is when she's not!

The contractual portion of the relationship started out a little rocky as we didn't quite understand what we were getting for our money and signed thinking we were getting something that we were not. It's an emotional time for all brides and when you find someone and you love their photo's you want to sign right away, but make sure to read the small print on all the contracts and that you are not only getting a photographer for the day of the wedding but that you are also getting the photos. It was a little unclear to us in the contract but once we got past that everything worked out well.

Ashley and Melodee were amazing the day of the wedding!! They kept the flow of the photos going and got some amazing shots. I was a little concerned about wrangling my crazy family for photos but Ashley handled them like a pro!! Now we just need to get her around for the holidays and everyone would behave, j/k!!

We were very happy with our experience with Ashley and would recommend her to anyone looking to have fabulous photos of their big day!!
