Travis did an absolutely phenomenal job capturing our outdoor wedding! From start to finish, he was professional, attentive, and so easy to work with. The video he created is nothing short of stunning—it perfectly captures the emotions, energy, and joy of the entire day. His attention to detail and creativity really stood out, as he used a variety of angles and perspectives to showcase every key moment and all the little ones in between. Travis has an incredible eye for storytelling, and his ability to seamlessly piece together all the highlights of the night made it feel like we were reliving the experience all over again. Whether it was the ceremony, the speeches, the first dance, or the fun on the dance floor, he captured it all beautifully. We were fortunate to have 8 Kinds of Smiles as our wedding videographer, a decision we made almost a year before our wedding in February 2024. Their professionalism, transparency about their various video packages, and punctuality were commendable. Travis was always quick to respond to our queries, which was greatly appreciated with so many unknowns during the planning process. Meeting Anna on the wedding day was a joy, and she instantly felt like family. As a bride without sisters, I felt a special bond with Anna, who guided us through our various location changes with grace. She made sure that my dress was put on right and coordinated with the bridesmaids and the videographer and photographer team for the grand entrance.
One of the many reasons we were thrilled with our choice was the bonus of Travis being a licensed drone pilot, which allowed us to have a breathtaking aerial view of our reception venue. But what truly blew us away was the quality of the video reel. The results exceeded our expectations! Travis and Anna's support for over 10 hours was admirable, and their meticulous attention to the finest details throughout the day was evident in the final product. The video was nothing short of stunning, and they beautifully captured all our special moments and emotions. We took a week after the wedding to record our personal vows since we ran out of time during the wedding day, but they reminded us to send the file and incorporated into the video beautifully! I wholeheartedly recommend 8 Kinds of Smiles as Cinematic Wedding Storytellers to couples in search of a dedicated and talented professional to immortalize their wedding day. -

Travis and Anna were awesome videographers. There was not a lot to prepare for leading up to the wedding. They worked well with our photographers to get all the shots they needed for their wedding-highlight and to capture almost every second of the day. The highlight they put together for us was amazing and I don't think I've skipped a day without watching yet. Our and friends and family could not get enough the amazing video they put together. Thank you guys so much!
I would definitely recommend these two to capture all the wedding moments for you.

10/10 PICK 8 KINDS OF SMILE TO CAPTURE YOUR PERFECT DAY!!!
Nothing but positive energy and a good time with Travis and Anna! Our wedding planner recommended many videographers, but we fell in love with the work of 8 kinds of smile. What stood out from the start was his video skill and style, the ability to capture the happiest of moments, telling a love story in short snippets. Travis was so friendly and easy to work with, he was organized and responsive to our emails, and we felt we were in good hands from start to finish! We felt so comfortable in front of the camera with Travis and Anna. He gave good suggestions and pointers on things to do for content, and we put full trust in him and followed his lead, and when we saw the final product, we were blown away!
He arrived day of our wedding with such positive energy!! He directed us through the process. We expected our video to be good, but when we saw it, we were over the moon! The video was delivered to us in such timely manner, we didn’t even expect to get it back so soon. It’s truly been an honor working with 8 kinds of smile, and we are beyond grateful for choosing Travis and his team to help capture our perfect day.

Travis and Anna are amazing people. We actually met them at a different wedding and were blown away by the final product. It was an easy choice to reach out to them for our own wedding.
The quality of their work was apparent in every part our wedding. Even our photographer had nothing but positive things to say about them. They were very accommodating to our bridal party and guests, always offering to take pictures for them and overall just being pleasant people to be around. It was easy to feel natural around them since they are cool people to just shoot the breeze with.
They were quick to produce our final video which has been shared profusely to our friends and family. They captured our the essence of our special day and now we get to relive it as often as we want.
I would easily recommend them to anyone looking for any videography needs and would give more stars if possible. -

8 Kinds of Smiles captured all the special moments from our wedding to relive for a lifetime! Travis and his assistant were so kind, observant, patient, helpful, and flexible. My husband and I were absolutely in love with our wedding video. Our package included a 4-minute highlights video and 2 hours of raw footage. The highlights video was just the right length for sharing with friends and family, and the raw footage captured so many sweet and silly moments we forgot about or didn’t get a chance to see during our wedding. We are incredibly impressed with their work ethic and talent, and we couldn’t be happier with the end result! -

Travis and Anna are an amazing team. They made our wedding day into an event which both me and my wife can remember forever. My wife found 8 Kinds of Smiles through social media and she shared some clips with me. Their style of filming and editing caught my eye almost immediately. They are able to capture the raw emotion and portray it beautifully. When we contacted Travis, he was very professional and timely. He gave us details on every process and was transparent each step of the way. On our wedding day, both Travis and Anna were courteous and resourceful. They worked very well with our photographers, communicating and taking turns with each pose. They made our poses natural by walking us through the process. Both Travis and Anna have a lot of experience with an eye for detail. Travis got our wedding highlight video done in about a week which is VERY fast. The video was well produced and edited. From the video quality, to the recording, to the music; everything was top notch. Travis provided us with the completed project as well as all the raw video and audio files. I've watched the video with my wife many times and it never gets old. If you're looking for a videographer, look no further. 8 Kinds of Smiles will have you smiling more than 8 different ways. -

This review is so long, and long overdue!!! My wedding was Feb. 2020 and it's beyond time I submitted feedback. 8 Kinds of Smiles was probably my fave wedding vendor, the most professional, and so worth it. If you are on the fence about having a videographer, go for it - and HIRE 8 KINDS OF SMILES!! Their pricing is reasonable for what you get and they are so easy to work with - extremely responsive, flexible, and thorough (a relief without a wedding planner). Travis and Anna are a uber-professional team; they were on time, attentive, and attuned to all the important parts of the day and kept our flurry of a day on track. They are so easygoing and I never had a worry with them.
I knew I wanted a Same-Day Edit for my wedding as I think it is the COOLEST thing to show at your reception, but I already sensed the day would be a blur so my husband and I requested Package D (I think that's what it's called?) with Same-Day Edit, extended cut, and raw footage.
I ultimately went with 8KoS as a standalone videographer largely based on their style. Though I had researched other vendors with larger teams and more experience, as well as others who were cheaper, I realized that the other 'pros' had the same formulaic sweeping shots, edits, cuts, even music. Travis has a style, but he will also make it yours. I had already hired 8KoS prior to releasing their 2019 EOY highlights clip so I had a good sense of their creativity and capability, but when they put that on Instagram I knew I wanted my SDE to capture the same feeling - the sentiment but also the fun of the day and they 110% ABSOLUTELY DELIVERED!!!!!
I was all smiles watching our SDE at our wedding reception, and we received so many compliments from our guests. We received an extended version of the SDE (that ran through the whole night/dancing, instead of just stopping mid-reception) and two 1-minute Instagram not two days later, as we were leaving for our honeymoon. Travis was ready with our extended (2-hour) cut on blu-ray and raw footage earlier than expected (I think about 3 weeks from the wedding). I left the music choice up to Travis and he nailed it, even picking one of my all-time favorite songs without even knowing it (it was actually supposed to be the final song of our reception and our DJ completely ignored the request) and I teared up when I heard it as part of our extended cut.
I hear a lot of people say that videographers aren't worth it, you'll never watch the footage, etc. etc., but I also had major pre-emptive FOMO about my wedding day and sensed that, even with our photography team, I'd still miss out on certain special moments in the day (and tbh wasn't happy with our photogs' results/overall professionalism). My husband and I have since watched our extended cut three or four times (and we still get teary) and I've peeked at my Instagram clips from them on more occasions than I can count and I still get that giddy/happy feeling from watching those brief clips.
Do yourself a favor. Hire 8 Kinds of Smiles ASAP! You won't regret it!

My husband and I are so happy we went with 8 Kinds of Smiles to capture our wedding day! From the get go, Travis and Anna made us feel comfortable in front of the camera. We especially appreciated the direction Travis provided us during our Romantics session, which in turn made great shots for the wedding highlights -- i.e. a dip! I thought my husband was going to drop me, luckily Travis provided detailed instructions to my husband to prevent that from happening! Also, when my husband and I were in the early stages of planning our wedding, we were on the fence on writing our own vows, and it was during our initial meeting with Travis that he asked if we were doing vows and it was under his recommendation that personal vows would make our wedding more meaningful and memorable, which helped us make the decision to write our own vows (and we're so glad we did). Anna went above and beyond to help me capture photos and videos on my phone during our reception, which I greatly appreciated especially the day after our wedding when the wedding blues kicked in and all I wanted to do was re-live our wedding day.
Travis and Anna were amazing to work with! They are a great team and we found out recently that they themselves are getting married in the next year (congrats you guys!!). We are so happy with how our wedding highlights video turned out (not going to lie, I've re-watched our highlights about 1000x)! Travis and Anna captured our wedding day seamlessly and the highlights video they produced illustrates our wedding day perfectly from beginning to end. -

Travis and Anna were amazing to work with, they stayed with us from beginning to end (for a real long 15 hour day) and were able to capture all of our special moments. We are absolutely in love with the same-day edit video they created for us, and we have been watching it non-stop! Our family and friends could not rave enough about the high quality of their videos as well as their professionalism. We highly recommend 8 Kinds of Smiles for your special day. Words are not enough to express the amazing work that Travis delivered to us. All the way from start to finish he was super professional and made sure to catch all the moments that I couldnt even think possible. You hear all the time from other fellow brides how much they hated there wedding videos but with the help of Travis & 8 kinds of smile team after watching any highlights or extended cut you cant help and want to cry because it was so beautifully made. I didnt really have time to shop around for a videographer because we lived outside of CA. Some were just too expensive and some were just to cheap that i know the videos would be too cheesy. My husband and I decided we couldnt sacrifice paying to low to get a crappy wedding video. We didnt even decide we wanted extended cut til after we saw the highlight. We literally added that on wayyyy after the wedding. I honestly cried the first time I watched the wedding highlights video. So moving, so beautiful, and it made me realize after all the stress behind the scenes of the wedding it was so worth it. Travis knew exactly what he was doing and what songs to incorporate in our video. He captured absolutely all the perfect moments I get to relive again and again. There was times I couldnt hear all the speeches and after watching the DVD I was able to finally know what was everyone saying. I am so glad we went with 8 kinds of smile. There was no hesitation after seeing his work on his website and instagram. His prices are set and reasonable but he will work with you in installments. Future wedding couples please hire Travis!!! he does amazing work and the quality of the video will come out amazing. You will not be disappointed! -
