Amazing, fun, personalized experience from start to finish!

DJ Jimmie Espo and 617 Weddings is flat out the best there is. Jimmie was detailed (and funny!) throughout the entire process and was an absolute Rockstar on our wedding day.

In addition to providing our guests with an outstanding entertainment experience, he tended to so many small details that we didn't even think about.

We also took advantage of the Air Booth photo kiosk (which everyone LOVED!) and the uplighting he provided for the already gorgeous Lakeview Pavilion in Foxborough, MA was just the extra touch we needed.

What really set Jimmie apart was his willingness and excitement to work on some customized aspects of our wedding like specific cuts of songs, adapting the music experience to our style, and even worked with us on a custom music edit for our choreographed entrance to the reception.

Jimmie Espo and 617 Weddings is the only choice if you want a top tier experience for you and your wedding guests!

Best DJ ever!

We had Chuck with 617 weddings as our DJ for our wedding at the Beauport in Gloucester. He was INCREDIBLE. We met with him over the phone multiple times prior to the event and knew we were in good hands. We had a violinist for the ceremony and cocktail hour but he showed up early and provided amplification for our officiant.

Chuck knows how to start a party and keep it going. He definitely brought the vibe and we had so much fun. We were told by multiple people (who have been to lots of weddings) that he was the best wedding DJ they've ever had. I can't recommend him enough- thanks Chuck!

Valentine's Wedding 2026

617 Weddings absolutely crushed it for our Valentine's Day wedding. Chuck brought the energy on the dance floor and kept the night rocking all night, and his attention to detail leading up to the event let us know we were taken care of before we even got started. Joey Sax is a MANDATORY add if you're looking to party! He really took the entertainment to another level. While we haven't seen our video yet, Brendan was a joy to work with and can't wait to see it! If you're getting married in the Northeast, you'd be crazy to not have 617 lead the way.

Absolutely loved 617!

Had an amazing experience working with DJ Chuck for our wedding!! We also got the sax add on which was 100% worth it, everyone loved it. Chuck was amazing to work with, great communication and even better vibes. He respected all of our requests and helped guide the night to have the best vibes all night!! He also went above and beyond to give my brother with down syndrome the opportunity to live out his dreams of being a dj by letting him help Chuck for a part of his set, such a great memory for everyone. Couldn’t recommend this company and Chuck more for your special day!!

DJ Aziz for the win!!!

Our experience with DJ Aziz for our wedding was beyond our expectations!! He was able to accommodate for our 300-person event last minute, had a very organized system to let things run smoothly, and took the stress out of micromanaging during the event!! We truly cannot say enough amazing things about Jimmie Espo from 617 Weddings. From start to finish, he absolutely crushed it.

Our wedding at Raffles Boston was nothing short of incredible, and a huge part of that was thanks to Jimmie. The energy was unreal — the dance floor was packed all night long, and every song choice felt perfectly timed and totally us. DJ Chuck nailed it!!

I hired 617 Weddings for our DJ Chuck Uglietta for our wedding day at the Saphire Estate. Chuck was fantastic and so much fun to work with, as well as highly communicative and an expert in the industry. I knew I was in good hands after our phone call ahead of the wedding to finalize music details and event details. I trusted him to take care of our guests - keeping the party going with a playlist that was a hit for EVERYONE - from the younger kids to the older adults - we had people dancing all night. He was fantastic for our reception introductions, and he handled all our music requests with expertise. We had several compliments afterward about what a great DJ we had and how impressed they were. We also added the microphone service for our ceremony, and uplighting for the reception, which I HIGHLY recommend - Uplighting is such a game changer and it really elevated the mood and set the tone for dancing as well - Chuck had great suggestions about keeping the dinner part of the night lit with a candlelight-orange glow, and the dancing part mostly blues (our wedding colors), with some fun tricks like changing it to pink for ‘Pink Pony Club’. My husband and I as well as our guests had the best time with DJ Chuck Uglietta from 617 Weddings!! I would highly recommend him for any New England couple looking for a DJ.

An essential part of your special day!

We hired 617 Weddings for our wedding at Saphire Estate and were matched with DJ Mashup Charlie. Even from our initial introductory phone call, we could tell Charlie was the right man for the job. His energy level was unmatched and he was patient and extremely helpful answering our list of questions and special requests. Day of, DJ Mashup Charlie and Jimmie Espo were fantastic and received rave reviews from not only us, but all of our guests. Their warm demeanor made it feel like we had been friends for years. Our special day went perfectly, and I am confident in saying that Charlie and Jimmie played a big part in that. If you're looking for a DJ for any event, look no further!

Highly reccommend Joe Bermudez!

Joe Bermudez was our DJ for our ceremony and reception. He was absolutely amazing, played all the songs we requested, made sure everything ran smoothly and kept us and our guests dancing all night long just as we had asked! He was extremely kind and professional, checking in throughout the night to make sure it was all going as we wanted and easily bonding with and working with our other vendors to ensure things worked out perfectly. We have been told by many guests that attended that they've never danced at a wedding that much :)

Highly recommend DJ Bobak

We hired DJ Bobak from 617 Weddings for our wedding, and he was outstanding from start to finish. His communication was always clear and timely, and the online portal made planning our music incredibly easy and organized. Bobak delivered great music, seamless mixing, and kept the energy on the dance floor high throughout the evening. He balanced the volume perfectly and many of our guests were complimentary of the music throughout the night. We are extremely happy with our experience with DJ Bobak (and 617 Weddings) and would highly recommend!

617 Weddings made our day SO SPECIAL!!

Aziz and his crew were absolutely phenomenal! Even before our wedding day the phone calls leading up to it were great. Aziz was great at putting us at ease and letting us know that during that day we would be taken care of. He made the process of getting set up incredibly easy, and during the day was able to really roll with the punches with a Lebanese and American crowd, mixing the two cultures songs and getting every single person on the dance floor!

We were also sent all of the videos that were taken afterwards, which was wonderful! The videos were recorded as people were dancing and then played back on the screens in a montage, everyone went crazy for it! He really brought an incredible vibe and we couldn’t have asked for better.

DJ Bobak made our wedding so memorable and FUN

Could not recommend DJ Bobak from 617 Weddings more! He was our DJ at our wedding at The Villa and made our wedding so memorable. He was extremely easy to work with leading up to the big day, and made this part of the planning stress free (which we could not appreciate more! He was extremely thorough, professional and fun to work with. He took great direction on the way we wanted our wedding to flow, from the ceremony to reception. We gave him a list of songs to play and he played those and threw some in that were similar to keep it fun and exciting. I could not recommend more and am extremely grateful for DJ Bobak's impact on our big day!

Chuck was our DJ this past week at Grand View in Mendon, MA and absolutely crushed it. His communication before hand was very calming and took the stress of wedding planning of us. He was on time, set up outside for our ceremony, cued up person songs for that, and then absolutely nailed the reception. The guests loved the music choices, and he helped us with a quick idea for table pictures and called that out for us smoothly. Definitely use 617 for your DJ needs and ask for Chuck! WOW! DJ Chuck is truly amazing at what he does. We had the pleasure of working with Chuck from 617 Weddings on October 4th at The Owl's Nest Resort - he was actually one of the first vendors we booked back in 2023. Chuck was recommended to me and actually DJed 3 of my cousins weddings, he's truly part of the family now! The dance floor was packed all night and he played all the songs we requested! He helped us make adjustments to our timelines and MCed everything so beautifully. The up lighting made the venue even more magical. He truly was the hype man of the evening!

617 Weddings and Nick Stamz BLEW our expectations out of the water!

We recently had our wedding at Tupper Manor in Beverly, MA and used 617 Weddings as our DJ. Nick Stamz was our DJ and man he may have been the best money we spent for the entire wedding. Not only did he KILL the DJ setlist (which was personalized to the vibe and songs we wanted), but he was also a constantly positive energy and calming presence through the experience. He was flexible even when plans didn't go quite to plan.

If you want a DJ that will bring the vibe YOU want to your wedding with the DJing, but also puts in an extra hand anywhere he can Nick is your guy. Cannot speak highly enough of him! Take one thing off your plate and hire Nick who will ensure your wedding's vibe is exactly as you want it!

Dj Bobak review

Dj Bobak was an absolutely unforgettable part of our wedding day. From the first meeting, he made us feel at ease- and we knew immediately he was the right choice- his professionalism, passion and genuine commitment to making our day unforgettable.

Dj Bobak kept the dance floor packed all night- he read the energy of the crowd effortlessly and made sure the vibe never dropped.

Beyond the music, Bobak took care of everything- ceremony sound, reception speeches, first dance cues, lighting, and had a beautiful DJ setup.

MOH review so this was in really honest as a guest and wedding party member. Nick Stamz with Amazing DJs from 617 wedding was unbelievable!!! DJ Jimmie Espo Made Our Night Unforgettable!

We can’t recommend DJ Jimmie Espo from 617 Weddings enough. From day one, Jimmie was amazing to work with, full of energy, super professional, and just truly an expert in what he does.

He kept our dance floor absolutely PACKED the entire night, even before it officially opened, people couldn't wait to get out there. When our dinner was delayed, Jimmie just rolled with it, kicked off the dancing early, and made sure our guests never stopped having fun.

One thing that made the whole planning experience so easy was the online portal through 617 Weddings. Tracking our music, putting together our timeline, and handling all the details was so convenient, we loved how simple it was to use and how organized it kept us.

Throughout the night, Jimmie was incredibly helpful—he let us know when to greet tables, when we could just relax and enjoy each other, and even timed my dress change perfectly. The parent dances went off without a hitch, and Jimmie’s ability to read the room was just spot on.

Plus, the photobooth from 617 Weddings was such a hit! Everyone had so much fun with it, and the photos turned out amazing.

We couldn’t have asked for a better DJ or a smoother wedding experience. Thank you, Jimmie, for making our day so memorable and absolutely perfect!

Charlie is the BEST

Charlie put on the best show possible for us! The dance floor was active from the second it opened until the last song. I lost count of how many people told us it was one of the best, if not the best wedding they had attended, and Charlie played a critical role in that. Simply, Amazing!

Our wedding was hosted at the Lighthouse Inn in West Dennis, Cape Cod MA. We had the pleasure of booking DJ Bobak to oversee our ceremony, cocktail, dinner and dance floor throughout the entire night. As the title reads, he was SIMPLY, AMAZING! Engaging, exciting, composed and timely, Bobak didn’t miss a beat, or a request all night. He kept the theme and the vibe on point, and listened to our do’s and dont’s when guest requests started coming.

Before wedding night, Bobak was very flexible with not only his time, but also his method of communication. We were constantly on email as well as Zoom with him, which showed his attention to detail and willingness to ensure we had a great experience.

The platform Vibo that he utilized provided amazing step by step ways to include different music and vibes based on each aspect of the wedding. It easily and flawlessly translated to the big night, and ensured no request was missed.

We had previously seen Bobak’s work at another wedding in Plymouth, MA, and knew right away he was going to be our guy. 2 experiences, 2 great events, and a lot of time searching for a DJ saved on our end!

Overall if you have any event, specifically a wedding, DJ Bobak should be at the top of your list. Great price, great experience and an even better guy. Thank you Bobak for making the night of our dreams, a reality!!

The best!

617 Weddings and DJ Aziz are the BEST of the BEST! From the very beginning, it was clear they are in a category of their own when it comes to being buttoned-up and making sure you have everything you need. Throughout the process, Aziz reached out not only to check whether we had completed the forms, but also to see if there was anything at all we needed for our wedding.

It is so obvious that this is not simply another gig for him. He cares deeply about the experience of the couple and their guests. He was such a positive presence and worked seamlessly with all of our vendors, especially the venue team. Aziz was incredibly detailed and exhausted every effort to make sure our day was unforgettable.

As for DJ Aziz’s ability to deliver an incredible wedding dance floor experience, there is simply no one better. He had the floor PACKED the entire night and was completely in tune with the crowd’s energy. His ability to seamlessly mix our Lebanese music with American hits was unlike anything we had ever experienced. He created such a unique and personalized vibe that guests could not stop talking about how they had NEVER seen a dance floor like that.

On top of the music, his assistant captured real-time footage of the best moments on the dance floor and displayed them on the massive screen in his booth, which only encouraged even more people to dance!

DJ Aziz and 617 Weddings went ABOVE and BEYOND, setting an unrealistically high bar for what every wedding should be like. Aziz, THANK YOU, you are amazing! We CANNOT recommend 617 Weddings and DJ Aziz enough!

DJ Julio Sanabia was awsome!

We used 617 Weddings not only for our DJ, but also for uplighting and Photo Booth, and we highly recommend them!
DJ Julio was awesome, he played at both our rehearsal boat party and our wedding reception. He make sure to communicate a couple of days before the wedding to understand the music preferences and the crowd. During the party, he was very energetic, super fun and engaging, and kept everybody dancing all the time. He was also very open to songs requests, and took super fund videos and photos during the party, which he displayed on a screen while he was playing (that was a very nice touch). We are happy we used 617 Weddings for our special day!

We had the absolute pleasure of having DJ Aziz Idhamou from 617 Weddings at our wedding at the Lenox Hotel, and he completely blew us away! Charlie was incredible. We talked to him a few times prior to the wedding so he could get to know us and our vibe and he followed through with that on the dance floor! Best Entertainment Ever!

We had a great time working with 617 & Nick Stamz (our DJ). The whole process was easy from the initial call the whole way to the bid day. 617 was always responsive to our questions and paired us with our AMAZING DJ Nick. Nick was excellent and so many of our guests complimented his entertainment style and music selections. Nick was a great partner throughout the process. We worked together through every step and he was a great person to have there on our wedding day! We worked with Nick and 617 to add a Sax player (Jerry) to our package and that was a huge hit! DJ Jimmie Espo and the team at 617 Weddings was truly amazing at our wedding on 8/30/2025 at the Kimpton Marlowe Hotel in Cambridge! They are extremely professional, timely and responsive throughout the entire wedding planning process. The song request portal and planning forms on the website were so incredibly detailed and organized to ensure a smooth wedding experience! Jimmie truly goes above and beyond on the wedding day. He let us know during the wedding who would give a speech next or if the cake cutting song was next etc. We truly felt everything went on time and the team didn't miss a beat! The songs we requested were all played, but DJ Jimmie also added good transition songs to ensure guests were engaged! It is obvious Jimmie and the team have several years of experience, not only providing DJ services but also ensuring the bride and groom were happy at all times. DJ Jimmie and the team truly hyped us up during the wedding process and were always so cheerful, professional, and kind! Amazing experience at our wedding with DJ Nick Stamz!

We can’t thank DJ Nick Stamz enough for being such an important part of our wedding. From the ceremony sound and music, to our reception entrance, to packing the dance floor all night with incredible songs and energy—he absolutely crushed it. Nick was super communicative throughout the entire process, always responding to our questions within minutes. On the night itself, he constantly checked in to make sure we were good and kept everything moving seamlessly with no awkward lulls between moments. He even stayed an extra hour for our on-site after party, which ended up being one of the best parts of the night—getting all of our family and friends back on the dance floor to close things out. Chuck is amazing!

If you're looking for a DJ that is fun and upbeat, Chuck is your go to! He was extremely responsive and there at all times to answer any and all questions we had. A DJ can really make or break a wedding. However, Chuck made ours nothing short of amazing. The dance floor was packed ALL night from the moment the dance floor opened. We are still getting compliments from how fun our wedding was. Chuck went above and beyond to find a few song requests that are not popular here (Albanain songs). One thing that stood out about Chuck was that he found a way to get all age groups out on the dance floor. His energy is unmatched and we can promise if you pick Chuck you are making the best decision ever and will have an absolute blast at your own wedding. We keep saying we wish we could relive the entire night because it was so much fun.

We had Payten as our videographer and he was the nicest guy! I will never forget when I was stressing out because we were running late he just looked at me and said “you look beautiful” and it truly calmed me down. From that moment on, I barely noticed him! Lol. He was bopping around so much that I forgot he was there, but I knew he was getting all the footage we dreamed of. We got our videos today and we couldn’t be more happy. I’ve watched the highlight reel 5 times and all the raw footage and we are blown away! It’s all amazing and everything we dreamed of . Great experience with John at 617 Weddings!

My husband and I found ourselves in a stressful situation when, one month before our wedding, our previous photographer stopped replying to us. It turned out to be the best thing to happen because it led us to John and 617 Weddings. Within a couple hours of reaching out to John, he had replied to us, told us he'd be happy to work out wedding, and had a contract ready for us to sign. Given the proximity to our wedding when we signed the contract, he was even willing to give us an extra hour at the wedding instead of the engagement shoot included in our package. He was an absolute pleasure to work with both leading up to, during, and after the wedding. He was so professional on the day of and made sure to get all the shots we wanted. We are so happy with how our video came our!! It is incredible in every way. We’ve already watched a million times! Having these memories captured on video and made into a cinematic clip was perfect! Must hire!

John Mullaney was fantastic! We found 617 weddings through my best friend, they did the videography for her wedding as well. We ended up having the same videographer, John, and couldn’t have been happier! He went above and beyond to make sure he got the best shot, was kind, professional, and very easy to work with. John worked well with our photographer (which I know can be tricky at times with two different mediums trying to capture the same moments).

We would recommend using 617 weddings for your videography needs. Definitely worth every penny, and the best part was their price range was very reasonable considering some of the extremely high prices you can see out there for video. Another thing we appreciate about how they work is their non-intrusive manner. No big giant lights or cameras in your face while you’re trying to be in the moment on your wedding day.

Chuck Uglietta is the absolute best!

When Chuck Uglietta says anything for his brides he means it! He was so easy to work with. There was a moment before our ceremony where you could tell everybody was sort of nervous. Next thing we know Chuck is blaring Our Favorite Song and all of us are dancing along and now we're pumped and ready to go! I was so grateful for this as our photographer captured some of the moment and they turned out to be some of our best candid photos. Chuck really is amazing you can ask many other vendors and they will all agree he's one of the best DJs out there! Chuck loves what he does and it shows. We were so grateful to have him as part of our wedding.

Responsive and seamless!

We could not have been happier with using 617 weddings for our videography. Steve P came to shoot everything on the wedding day and he was great! He worked so well with our photographer, and during the reception we barely even noticed he was there. We were so thrilled with our video! Amazing videography

The best wedding video service!

We worked with Russell of 617 Wedding Videos and from the day we booked the whole process was seamless! From booking, smoothing out details, the big day and the final product, the service we recieved was very professional and genuine. We recieved our finished product in the time frame originally given to us, and love our cinematic trailer! A new year’s eve to remember

Our videographer Franco Valverde from our NYE wedding was all we could of imagined and more . His professional was top notch . He was so genuine , caring and catering to all our needs . His attention to detail was truly unmatched , capturing the best moments and guiding us every step of the way. He made connections not only with my husband and I but also our guest ! We were lucky enough to have Russell Smithe from 617 Weddings as our videographer.....he was FABULOUS! When my husband I watched our cinematic highlight film for the first time we were both in tears! Fun, awesome company to work with

We used 617 Weddings for our wedding video and it came out amazing! It was so much fun working with John the videographer. John was very professional, but at the same time he felt like a friend we both had known for a long time. He chatted with us and made the process fun and not weird at all to have a camera in your face. The company as a whole are easy to work with and get back to you right away with emails. They also keep you updated on any tasks you need to do before the day of the wedding. It was a pleasure to have them film our wedding and it is a great memory we will always have.

The Best Video Experience Ever

The best decision we ever made was hiring Russell from 617 Weddings to be our Videographer. He was very well recommended and I can see why. Russell was professional, funny, attentive, and helpful. He gave us ideas and tips on making our video the best we can have. He was present but never in the way. He even offered to stay longer than scheduled and captured our amazing wedding day moments. He was able to capture the first look with my father, our first dance, and Brian's dipping of me on the dance floor. He does amazing editing work in the most artistic and glam fashion. At our wedding he had 4 other 617 Brides and three of which he videoed himself. We were so happy to have him there with us. He dried my flowers off before I got myself drenched. He made everyone laugh and even caught the tiniest of details and moments of us with our families and friends. I cannot be more thankful to have worked with Russell and his team.

Fantastic!

The one thing I wish I had done was book 617Weddings sooner!! I made the decision to have a videographer very late in my planning. I sent an email with some questions and Russell responded within a couple hours! He took the time to go over all of my options with me and gave me input on what he thought based on what I was describing. Jon was our videographer for the day and he was just so wonderful! He was punctual, pleasant and just an absolute joy to work with. When my family saw our highlight video they were in awe of how beautiful everything looked and how all these important moments were captured. I can not stress how awesome everyone we interacted with at 617Weddings is! If you’re thinking of hiring a videographer, look no further! Russell and his team are the best of the best!

Where do I even begin!!?!? From the moment I found 617 Weddings I was obsessed with the highlight video's they had posted on their site. I immediately reached out to book them and that's when I was introduced to Russell! He is absolutely incredible. He was so quick to respond to all my questions leading up to the wedding. On the day of the wedding he was beyond kind and captured every single special moment. We didn't even remember seeing him during the night but somehow he was always right in the middle of the action capturing our entire wedding from start to finish. We just received our highlight video last night and blown away is an understatement. He truly is so talented and we cannot thank him enough for the AMAZING finished product. We're so looking forward to watching the full video when it arrives. If you are second guessing hiring a videographer or do not know who to hire - LOOK NO FURTHER!!!!!!!!! 617 Weddings was an absolute pleasure to work with! Russell and his team are extremely responsive, friendly, and they are excellent at what they do.
John Mullaney (Video) and Bharat Parmar (Photo) were professional and fit right in with my friends, family, and myself. They made us feel comfortable and not at all like we were on camera! They also worked extremely well with each other to get both video and photo footage.
617 Weddings captured all of our favorite moments of the day- and some things we didn’t even remember because the day went by so fast.
Capturing the memories of our day was the most important factor for me when planning our wedding, and we definitely made the right choice with 617 Weddings. I highly recommend 617 Weddings!

These guys are awesome!!

617 really made planning the day so easy and super stress free- Russell was quick to respond to any question I had, sent out periodic emails with where we should be in the planning stages, and called us a few days before to finalize the day of timeline and make sure we were all set with everything. And our videographer John was amazing! He came in and immediately started doing his thing and most of the time I didn't even realize he was there- he was so unobtrusive yet on top of everything! He got some excellent shots and they did a great job editing the footage! We were on the fence about spending the money on a videographer but our friends used 617 for their wedding last year and highly recommended them so we went for it, and we're so glad we did! We love watching our video and catching things we missed the day of, and reliving the greatest night of our lives!

Amazing and friendly photographer!

One of the first vendors I booked after getting engaged was our videographer. I knew I wanted to have my wedding filmed so I could have a video to watch after the big day. Worth every penny!

Franco is a Wedding MUST HAVE!

My husband and I were debating on having a videographer at our wedding and we decided to use the one that was offered with our DJ and Photobooth and let me just say, I am so glad I did!

Franco was so great to work with the day of the wedding! He made the day less stressful and more enjoyable for Matthew and I! My husband hates being on camera and having photos taken and he STILL tells me about how he loved Franco and the way he filmed! I continue to get so many compliments from family and friends and I keep telling them about how great 617 is to work with! Franco added such organization to a hectic day and continued to “wow” me with his professionalism! Not once did I feel like he was a stranger, in fact, I felt like I knew him and he was part of our family! I cannot wait to see the video and see the true artistic work he was able to capture!!

The best dance party!

Jimmie was amazing to work with! From the first meeting he totally understood the vibe my now-husband and I were going for, and he literally had people of all ages on the dance floor the ENTIRE evening without fail. He's super friendly, outgoing, and organized, and he also wasn't afraid to take charge in making sure everything flowed as seamlessly as possible. The music can really make or break a wedding, but he absolutely nailed it--SO. MUCH. FUN! The only downside was how quickly the night was over! I'd highly recommend Jimmie and his 617 team to anyone looking for an awesome, versatile DJ!

Wedding - July 7, 2018

We would highly recommend Russell Smithe and Chris Profenna from 617 weddings. We had them for our videographer and Dj for our wedding at the Hilton Double Tree in Danvers, MA on July 7, 2018. They helped our day run so smoothly and stress free! When our video and our cinematic video came, we were so impressed and Russell did such a wonderful job capturing all of the important moments of our day and then some! We were able to relive our day through the video and it is something we will treasure forever. Dj Chris Profenna kept us and our guests dancing all night long. The music was awesome and exactly what we wanted for our wedding. If you are in need of a videographer and Dj, we HIGHLY recommend Russell and Chris!

A breath of fresh air!

Russell Smithe of 617 Weddings was our videographer - he was FANTASTIC! When we first met with Russell he assured us that his style would be unobtrusive and we wouldn't even notice him on the day of. I was lucky enough to work with Russell from 617 videos as my videographer. I found 617 videos from a friend who used them, and after watching multiple wedding videos on vimeo (and crying at each one)- I knew they were the company I wanted to use for mine. Russell was so great to work with, he was responsive and easy going. We were having an early wedding which led to a long day, and I was worried 8 hours of coverage wouldn't be enough to capture everything from beginning to end, but Russell was kind and flexible enough to see how the night was going to see if he should stay any additional hours. Also, I barely noticed Russell the entire time during the wedding, he was behind the scenes but got the most amazing footage! The "sneak peak" video was amazing - I probably watched it 10 times the day we got it back. The only issue was a slight lag time in receiving the video, but there was communication relaying that information beforehand which I thought was very professional. Overall, I am so happy to have used 617 videos and lucky to have had Russell as my videographer!

Russell and team were very responsive from our initial inquiry and continued to follow up all the way through the wedding and throughout the editing process to make sure we knew we were being taken care of. I was a bit nervous about how our video was going to turn out because we wanted something a little different than the typical wedding video - we asked for no song lyrics and to incorporate more speaking points from the ceremony and reception. Even though this was a new editing style for 617 Weddings, we relied on the many 5 star reviews here to make our decision to go with them and we absolutely made the right choice! Our video is 100% everything we asked for and more! Franco captured our day so beautifully while being completely unobtrusive and the editing team did a FANTASTIC job putting it all together! There aren't words to describe how amazing Russell Smithe is at what he does! From the moment we met Russ, we felt like we'd known him forever. He is so easy to be around and his style is completely unobtrusive, yet he somehow captures all of the best moments by himself! We were so comfortable having him around and appreciated his subtle guidance. Russ was so quick to respond to any of our questions, and sent out update and reminder emails every few months, which kept us organized and made the whole planning process stress-free.
